Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Miller Williams and all the staff at Advanced Physical Therapy. I was involved in a car accident and was suffering from severe back pain that only muscle relaxers could help. I was initially a bit skeptical about how much PT would help, but I am happy to say I was proved wrong. Miller is one of a kind and is a true expert in his field. All of my concerns and health history were taken into consideration when forming my treatment plan and after every session I felt more and more myself. In less than 2 months later I feel even better than before the accident! If you are in need of physical therapy, Advanced Physical Therapy NLR is the place for you!

Fantastic experience: Jovie was my physical therapist and Lord she was a God send. I had severe incontinence issues and she worked wonders on me. I literally hated for my therapy to end. If you need therapy for anything Advance Physical Therapy is the perfect place.

Fantastic experience: My name is Rhonda Aaron, I was hit by a car in August (pedestrian accident) but I just wanted to say before I started physical therapy , I wasn’t able to get comfortable at all or do physical activities without having pain, then I started seeing Abby and it has completely changed my life and my perspective about pain, I still have pain in my back and shoulder but what I can say is that I look forward to going to every appointment because I leave feeling wonderful. It’s a working process but Abby listens and she helps me instantly without questioning anything she always has a solution. She’s literally the best!!

Fantastic experience: Warning: TMI, but I’m open about my health despite its sensitive nature. My philosophy is: everyone has problems. I never know if/when something I’ve gone through can help/encourage someone else in a similar situation. What purpose is going through a trial if I keep what I learned to myself? There’s none unless I use it to help others. So, here’s a small part of my story of living the gutless life which is anything but gutless…it takes a lot of effort, determination, stubbornness, etc, to make the daily decision to push forward & not roll over & play dead. I’ve seen Ashtin (DPT & PRPC) at APT of NLR since December. My gut & body are a hot mess. To stay ahead of gastrointestinal cancer, I play the balancing game of putting off surgery until the risk of malignancy’s imminent. Over 38 years, I’ve had 5 surgeries which slowly whittled away my large intestine I had none, a classic Whipple (prevent duodenal & pancreatic cancer), & a total gastrectomy (prevent stomach cancer). I grow scar tissue like a crop. I had a 4th degree tear with my 1st child. The combo of all this has left me with a very tight pelvic floor, low gut motility, & dried my mucous membranes. After diagnostic tests, my gastro & colorectal surgeon sent me to have my pelvic floor assessed to see what can be done to help my gut work better. So, I learned about pelvic floor rehabilitation. It’s very intimate, personal, & taboo, but Ashtin is amazing…caring, polite, discrete, honest, & a whole bunch of other things that have been a blessing to me. What I thought was a month or 2 of APT (Advanced Physical Therapy) turned into 3 months, & I just made appointments through April. As a part of required rotations to become a DPT, there’s a student shadowing her for the next couple months. Of course, I was asked if I was okay with her joining us, &, of course, I had no problem because she has to learn her area of interest which can’t be done unless she’s exposed to it, & she was thrown into the deep end with me but is in good hands with shadowing Ashtin. The staff is amazing. Dakota at the front desk absolutely rocks! He’s always chipper, super friendly, & full of sunshine & energy, & he’s the DJ who pipes music through the facility. At one of my appointments, I said, “Happy Mardi Gras!” because I’m from NOLA, & it was Mardi Gras Day…by the end of my appointment, I heard “Mardi Gras Mambo” over the speaker. It was such a nice touch! I don’t know who’s in charge of this, but, in the lobby, there’s a whiteboard with the “Question of the Day” which invites all to contribute an answer. The QotD runs the gamut of fave song or flower to what dead person you’d have dinner with to Monday’s cheesy Dad joke category that made me laugh out loud while also slapping my forehead. While I’m a mom, I’m full of cheesy dad jokes thanks to being the only girl of the best Daddy in the world. I’m not exactly sure what the official topic was for the cheesy dad jokes, but it included jokes like: • What falls, but never needs a bandage? The rain. • What goes up when the rain comes down? Umbrellas! • What type of a bow can't be tied or untied? A rainbow. • Can February March? No, but April May! It reminded me of the cheesy joke that I’d seen on the reader board of Cabot Meat Market on the way to church the day before: What do you call a cow laying in the pasture? Ground beef! Okay, back to APT of NLR. It’s a busy place but a class act. There are a lot of therapists which means, at times, there are a lot of patients trying to sign in for their appointments. If you’re there & experience this, be patient because Dakota & the other front staff gets everyone processed & off to their various PT sessions with 1 of the 10-ish PTs or DPTs. I highly recommend this place.

They were so understanding of my complex health history and I truly looked forward to every visit. I had terrible pain after a long delivery, and needed so much help being steered in the right direction. I want to individually thank Jovie one of the pelvic floor therapist. She truly felt like a friend as well as my PT. She went above and beyond and I will thank her forever! It did not stop there, the staff treated me and my son like family. Even the non pelvic floor physical therapists. You will not meet greater group of people. And I could not recommend this location enough. Thank you Jovie, you know I could not make it without you!

Fantastic experience: My goodness, I want to thank Stephen, my main man for all his work with me after my knee replacement surgery. He always met me with a smile ,& enthusiasm. He was so intuitive in his approach with me. We reached some ranges of motion in the sessions that got me on my way. When Stephen was out a few times, I had Cameron as a therapist.....he worked w me and got me doing things that I didn't think I could do. And Abby another therapist worked thoroughly & tenderly with me. I think she could also make a great counselor. There is such a friendly/ fun atmosphere in that place. I appreciated all their imput. I always appreciated Andrew's observations & encouragement. I have to mention Alex, Collier, and Daisy who also worked w me. Each one of them gave me instructions that improved my outcome and they were so polite and fun to talk to. What a great place to get PT! I also got to visit with Jovie and Astrid two more of their therapists. I think they all like working there....it's like a family and I will miss all of them! Darlene M.

Fantastic experience: The staff here are very welcoming and super knowledgeable. They even have personal trainers on site! My sessions have been like a weekly meet up with friends but also a lot of work. It doesn’t hurt as bad when you have a great crew of therapists and techs.

I have a connective tissue disorder, so I deal with chronic pain all over-and have to have multiple surgeries done. I came to Advanced PT in NLR for my pelvic floor after having my children. I wish i would have come YEARS AGO. This place is THE BEST! Jovie is an amazing therapist. She truly wants to learn how to help you in the best way. She’s knowledgeable, kind, and puts her heart into helping her patients. I have had some medical trauma in my life, but Jovie is gentle, talks you through what she’s doing, and thinks outside the box to help. I also have had Abi as my therapist for my jaw/neck problems. She too is very knowledgeable, validated my pain, thinks outside the box, and truly cares for her patients too. From my experience, you can’t go wrong with doing your therapy at this place. Fantastic experience: I had my first appointment at north Little Rock, from the very beginning everyone was very nice and welcoming. The exams are VERY extensive and they make sure you don’t leave with any questions. My PT Dr listened to every detail and explained to me why those things were happening me and how they were connected!

Positive experience: The experience is professional and friendly. Getting good results. Some equipment might need attention like ankle weights and bicycle type exercisers for more efficient and ease of use

Fantastic experience: 100% Recommend this clinic. The staff and therapist are amazing. I was extremely terrified about doing PT on my knee and my therapist has made sure I was educated and made me aware of how each exercise will help my healing process. Even on my roughest days they have made an effort to cheer me up.

Fantastic experience: This was my first time doing physical therapy and I was overall very impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Never once did I get any sort of attitude or apathy when talking to anyone. Everyone seemed genuinely geared towards helping me and discussing my problems and solutions. Their routine took me from laying in bed all day in pain to living my life about 95% back to normal. The only 'issue' is finding their office is a little awkward. It's located in a bank (of all places), and you go in through the western entrance, go upstairs, and down the hall. Otherwise everything else was great.

Fantastic experience: I graduated from PT today & I couldn’t have done it without them!! Advanced has the friendliest, most helpful, most awesome staff. Abigail was my PT. Fantastic experience: I was seeing Olivia for lymphedema therapy due to a fall. Olivia is very knowledgeable in lymphedema therapy. She is a great listener and a wonderful person just to be around. When it came time to get my compression garments we discussed prices and the best options for me. I felt that she had my best interest in mind at all times. I would highly recommend her and her coworkers at advanced physical therapy. She is just an all-around wonderful gal!!

Fantastic experience: I went to Advanced Physical Therapy in orth Little Rock to rehab a knee. Wow! Andrew and Kyle, who I worked with the most are fantastic. They helped me know what to do to improve my stability, my strength, and my flexibility. 6 weeks later I have no pain and my knee is great. The physical therapists are friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. You are not just a case with them. They know your name and make you feel special. The office staff are great too.

Fantastic experience: "This isn't my first rodeo". I unfortunately for different injuries and ailments have sought the care and expertise of Physical Therapists in the last few years. This post is not intended to criticize or defame other establishments but simply to bring positive attention to this one. This is the third Physical Therapy office I have used in the past 3 years and I will only be using Advanced Physical Therapy for my PT needs from here on out. It started with the website, which is well polished and attractive and caught my attention. Then I made the appointment, and right from the beginning over the phone Brandy and Mica have been nothing short of superb and extremely polite. You receive the same experience when you check in. I have had the privilege of working closely with Haden for my therapy and he has been friendly, caring, and more importantly skilled in getting me back to as close to normal as possible. I have also appreciated the PT assistants who help guide me through my exercises. If you're not sure about which Physical Therapy clinic to use, I'd strongly recommend trying Advanced Physical Therapy first.

Fantastic experience: Advanced Physical Therapy does such a great job of making you feel comfortable and valued. Everyone from the office staff to the therapists are so welcoming. Because of the dedicated therapists, I am beginning to see a lot of improvement.

Fantastic experience: This place is where I will talk all of my physical therapy needs, which as much as I love them, hopefully aren't many ; ) I went in with some pretty serious back pain and Andrew figured out what it was and what caused it rather quickly. He then explained in great detail the issue AND with a super cool 3D app showing exactly the muscles that were affected. He sent me with do's and don'ts which I've tried to abide by and I'm already feeling better! Brandi in the office was also great and she will help you with all of your scheduling needs. All around a great experience and I'm already feeling better. Thank you guys!

The entire team in the NLR office was so professional and courteous during my treatment! I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family! While I hope I’m not in need of PT in the future, if I was, I would 100% return to see them at the NLR location!
