Negative experience: I am a resident of this facility and i will filing a letter of neglect with state regulators once i am discharge. Total breakdown of communication from Lowell Saints to this facility on Hospital discharge. Had to get my health care proxy in Calif involved as i waited 7 hours for pain medication even thou it was here under emergency. No one should suffer the way i have.

Fantastic experience: Although this short/long term, nursing home/rehab business is certainly for low budget folks, the staff's positive and energetic attitued/personality make up for that by far. The nourishment is according to the MDs decision. This could mean a renal diet or even a bland diet, which means that patients may not eat the food at all and that is not healthy. The online access is also not good at all. A friendly invironment where there is most always interesting and fun activities going on. Angels certainly work there. Fantastic experience: The staff is caring and attentive. When there are issues, they respond promptly. The administrator, Ryan, really cares that issues are addressed and patients receive quality of care. All these facilities are under enormous pressure with state regulations and inadequate funding, and they work so hard to be sure people are cared for properly despite these issues.

Negative experience: This place is a house of horrors and the director Ryan has decided to bury his head in the sand and ignore the mistreatment his staff provides to patients.

Fantastic experience: My grandfather was here, he loved the staff and they took great care of him. I would recommend this place to anyone. The Administrator is very involved and knows all the Residents. Great job Belvidere!

Negative experience: After much trial and tribulation, my grandmother was sent here from the hospital against our wishes. Right when I walked in, I knew there was something very wrong. It absolutely reeks of urine in the hallways and most staff members and aids are extremely inattentive and rude. Daily, my grandmother needs to be sent elsewhere for dialysis. One day we receive a call that they LEFT HER at the wrong location and wouldn't be picking her up until 10pm, after her having been there since 10am doing absolutely nothing. On top of their neglect, they sent her there in A JOHNNY and no shoes. I am never the type to write a review or complain, but this treatment was outrageous.

Negative experience: If I could give a 0 I would. First time my dad hit the call bell when he thought he was having a heart attack. No one came and he can’t walk. He was on the phone with my aunt who called me and my son to call them and let them know. This last time I couldn’t get a hold of my father and I called to check up on him and see if he was okay. The nurse said he’s fine and sleeping. I said I haven’t heard from him since 3:30 and have called multiple times. She stated he’s fine and sleeping. I got a call from the hospital that he went there by ambulance about 45 minutes after I called to check up him. It’s so hard to get a hold of anyone here especially at night. I had faith in this place but not anymore. Do not send your loved one there.

Fantastic experience: My domestic partner stayed here for a month of respite care while I recuperated from knee replacement surgery . During an unscheduled first visit, pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff, and cleanliness helped me decide to choose the facility. It is well run by Ryan, the administrator Although I was not able to visit more often due to my surgery and have not known of many more staff members, I would like to mention Caroline (who was always so pleasant and ever helpful)) as well as nurses Beth. Gina, and Nee, and social worker Mary Etta.

Fantastic experience: I toured this facility today. Residents were singing to karaoke! The facility was clean and smelled great. Also, I was warmly greeted by staff. Residents were happy and looked well cared for at this facility. I highly recommend Belvidere Healthcare Center!

Fantastic experience: My father has been here for 12 years, my family and himself love it everyone is so friendly he enjoys coming down to activities he loves bingo, music, cooking classes he loves when the pastor comes especially for the cookouts. He is well cared for and loved by everyone here. I highly recommend bringing your love ones here you won’t regret it! Thank you to the whole team for everything you do for my father.

Fantastic experience: My mom was there, and it was amazing for her. She loved the Therapy team and was always excited to work with Dennis. Nana was a special CNA to her. Michelle, Caroline, Amy and her nursing team understood her needs and were on top of the complications she had. She absolutely loved the gardens and some of our favorite pictures are of her outside enjoying the sun. I think she adopted the squirrel that lived outside her sliding window. Great place, very happy with all they did.

Positive experience: My grandfather has been a resident here for 11 years, every time I come visit him he always tells me about how great his care is here. He gets along with the CNAs, Ive noticed they are very family oriented. The building is very clean. I’m so grateful my grandfather has such a great experience so far being here. I definitely recommend this place for your friends and loved ones. Thank you, Belvidere healthcare.

Positive experience: Friendly and attentive staff, Newer management much better than in past. Healthcare and facilities trending upwards. My Mother was pleased with her progress while at Belvidere.

Negative experience: This place needs to be shut down! The staff is hostile toward patients in front of family. I got tossed out of this place twice because I walked in to the facility to see them bullying patients. The place is disgusting and consistently short staffed. They do not care and your loved one and will let your loved one rot here. My grandmother had bed sores bad enough to require a leg amputation and my Aunt took a stroke and the staff never called family. The hospital called to ask if they could do a MRI on my Aunt. What? Both of my loved ones died here. Don't put your loved one here please! Shame on the State for not intervening.

Negative experience: If I could give a Zero star I would! If you care about a loved one DO NOT SEND THEM HERE they will come out worse than when they went in...bed sores and all. This place should have been shut down years ago!

Negative experience: I wouldn't even give this place one star. But in order to give a review you have to rate it, so that just shows you how back with this is. There are COVID masks strewn all over the parking lot. And the people there have about as much patience as a 2 year old. My mother left the saint's hospital and in a week is a 1000 times worse than she was. If you care for your love ones don't ever send Them to this place. The people are callous and rude to the patients and to the family. And if you care more about getting out of there and getting your stuff done rather than the people you're supposed to take care of you should get a new job

Negative experience: Nurse Amy was very unsanitary, she gave me the wrong medication Advair disc (pulmonary inhaler)that belonged to another patient. She was very flustered giving meds and touched the medication with her bare hands before administering the medication to me. It’s very sad as the patients do not understand or advocate for themselves. I left earlier than scheduled time by my doctor and returned home after my hip replacement surgery. ‼️do something about this before a patient dies of contamination and/or wrong medications administered‼️

Negative experience: I wouldn't bring my dog there. That place is awful. Please if you love them don't send them there, I beg you.

Negative experience: Trouble they don't empty the trash they don't care about the kitchen people they have horrible hr they never have a manger things are always broken take too long to fix do not bring your grandparents here they are very racist

Positive experience: Very clean and very conscientious about the health of its patients, the staff is warm and welcoming. I would bring my Mother to this facility.
