Fantastic experience: Athletico has been a fantastic place for my recovery after a left knee replacement. Two years ago I came here for OT after my right knee replacement. Geoff Klein has been a true advocate for measures to help my knee not only during PT sessions, but in suggesting other measures to try or other clinicians to see to help in recovery. Colleen and Ariel have been excellent PT therapists also. It has been a long haul to get to full recovery and I truly appreciate the attention to detail. Ann

He is prepared for each visit BEFORE you arrive and has a multi functional team ready to assist both himself and his patients. Fantastic experience: Thankfully, I heard about Geoff at Athletico when my primary medical provider had a wait of at least 60 days for physical therapy. Quite often skill and bedside manner do not go hand in hand. However, Geoff and his staff showed patience, provided hope and taught me more than I could imagine to strengthen my shoulder and back. The physical therapy process was second to none for me and covered by my insurance provider as a bonus!

Fantastic experience: On my first visit, my arm was stuck at a right angle. I brought a doctor’s note for an occupational therapist to help me recover from a fall resulting in an elbow dislocation and a type-2 coronoid fracture. Geoff assured me he was up to the task and promised my arm would work again. My rare injury required him to research, develop and execute a unique treatment plan that I could manage with my limited mobility. Fast-forward six months, Geoff and his team helped me fully recover without needing surgery. My arm now has full range of motion, and I am incredibly grateful for all their help! I highly recommend Geoff and this facility!

Fantastic experience: The whole team at Athletico has been nothing short of phenomenal! I came in with a severely herniated disc in my low back and was very frustrated and in constant pain. Geoff took the time to explain to me what he believed was happening and how we would work together to fix it. He listened to me on my goals and worked creatively with me to get the most out of my treatment. I am now pain free and much more mobile, and so grateful to the whole team. The admin staff was great, working with me to re-bill insurance when something went wrong, and being proactive with scheduling too. I can't reccomend them enough!

Fantastic experience: I went to Athletico over the past few months for a knee fracture/ACL injury. Cannot say enough great things about Geoff and his team!! My injury is pretty niche and Geoff went above and beyond to research and develop a great treatment plan. As an out-of-state senior student at UW Madison the timing of my injury was less than ideal and I elected to postpone surgery for 6 months following my injury. They were extremely accommodating with my busy class schedule and the treatment I received immensely helped me manage the injury in the meantime — I made way more progress than I ever thought would be possible prior to surgery. Geoff is also licensed in dry needling, and although I was a bit reluctant to try it, he talked me through it and ensured I was comfortable throughout the whole process — and this ended up making such a positive impact on my progress. HIGHLY recommend!!

Fantastic experience: I was in a construction site accident 8 months ago and I started going to Athletico at the end of July, I can say it was a long road from start to finish but journey isn’t done yet. I can’t say on how thankful I am of you guys, I practically was starting from 0 and now I’m standing upright, walking and being able to do family stuff without being in a lot of pain, I’m still doing exercises that I started with when I first began with Athletico I feel that I am forever endebted to you guys because you have done a wonderful job on getting me back on my feet literally and figuratively Thank you so much for everything! Fantastic experience: I started coming to Athletico Madison in November 2021 for continued care from the Bolingbrook (Illinois) location. Geoff the physical therapist that I was introduced was very attentive and extremely thorough in his pre op care and after three months of therapy it was determined that rotator cuff surgery for my shoulder was necessary then performed in March 2022. My post-op recovery was expedited by the program and follow up therapy sessions Geoff and his staff provided. Their exercise detail and instruction were a definite attribute to get me up and moving again in a very timely manner. I'm incredibly thankful for their support and highly recommend Geoff for any physical therapy inquiries or concerns.

Fantastic experience: I went to Athletico for over a year recovering from an ACL injury and the staff I interacted with were so supportive and helped me stay motivated throughout my recovery. The physical therapists Geoffrey and Arielle provided excellent guidance and were creative in finding ways to help me rebuild my strength without doing the same exercises every session. The staff was willing to work with my schedule to make sure there were appointment times available to me. I received excellent care and would recommend seeking out treatment at this facility.

Fantastic experience: I am so very glad I came to Athletico and had Geoff for my Physical Therapy! Geoff and all of the staff are wonderful showing care and concern for my individual needs. Fantastic experience: I had major foot surgery last fall, and at my doctor's recommendation I chose Athletico in Madison. The quality of care was amazing. I worked hard while I was there and went home with very clear instructions on what I needed to work on in between visits. Not only did they help me get my foot back into shape, but they were always working on the other parts of my body that were impacted by being in a walking boot for several months. I was not expecting this whole-body approach, but it was much appreciated. One of the advantages of Atletico is that I live between two cities, Madison and Delafield. While my primary care was in Madison, there were times when I needed to have appointments in Delafield. There was great communication between the two offices and continuity of care. And the teams were top notch and made therapy fun! Sandy Botcher.

Fantastic experience: I started coming to AthletiCo Madison west after foot surgery, and was very impressed. Geoffrey, the PT I was seeing, was extremely professional, and really made sure I was making the progress I needed. He took his time, was thorough, and made my recovery easier than other PT's I've seen in the past. They did a great job at giving the patients the attention they needed, and have recommended this location to a few others since my time there. I can't speak highly enough of the care I received here, and am very thankful for the time they put into making sure I recovered properly.

Fantastic experience: Geoff and the team at Athletico took my back pain from debilitating to almost non-existent after I had a bad flare up a few months ago! I've dealt with chronic back issues for many years now and have always struggled with how to maintain an active lifestyle without causing myself pain. Geoff always takes time to answer my questions and has given me the tools & exercises I need to accomplish my goals! As a grad student my schedule is all over the place, and they have been extremely accommodating for scheduling appointments during a time that works for me. Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Geoffrey and the staff at Athletico in Madison. I limped into my first session in a lot of pain, unable to perform my daily tasks or get around very easily. Dry needling is a service that is offered which ended up being vital to my recovery in combination with exercises. I am now back to the activities I love again which for that I am extremely grateful for. I would highly recommend physical therapy services here.

Fantastic experience: You won’t find a better place for PT. Geoff is extremely knowledgeable and a super friendly guy. Worked with him for several months following shoulder surgery and he did an amazing job. Always felt like he genuinely cared and that he knew what he was doing. The place is always very clean and the rest of the staff is very friendly as well. Have to shout out Bailey as well. She was great with scheduling and always very pleasant. Fantastic experience: I needed PT for some neck issue and headaches so I reached out to Athletico. I quickly received a call back and a quick appointment for the next day. Bailey was extremely helpful in getting everything set up. I saw Geoff and he is one of the most talented PT's I've ever met. His attention to your needs is his top concern. Fantastic experience: These guys were great! I was referred for treatment on an injured shoulder following a car accident. I found Geoff extremely easy to work. He spent a lot of time listening and asking questions so he could tailor a rehab program specific to my circumstances. As a result the treatment was effective and I have made significant improvements towards a full recovery. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of doing physical therapy with Geoff and Bailey for the past two and a half months to recover from a partially torn labrum. After calling them, Bailey got me in the next day for a consultation and I knew I found the right place to do PT the first day I came in. Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of working with Geoff and Bailey for the last seven months following ACL/Meniscus repair! I was apprehensive at first because this was my second ACL/meniscus tear in less than 2 years, and I was new to Madison, but they made me feel right safe and at home. Geoff is a well rounded PT and he’s not afraid to change the treatment plan if something isn’t working. He takes as much times as he needs with his patients no matter how busy he is. In my case, I developed complications and Geoff picked up on it almost immediately. He advocated for me to have the best care and got me in to see one of the best orthopedic surgeons in the Madison area. Geoff cares about your physical and mental wellbeing throughout the entire therapeutic process and beyond. I was excited to come to PT and found it to be one of my favorites places to be. I am so grateful to Geoff and Bailey for all their help through my rehab journey! I would recommend this facility to anyone in need of PT! Fantastic experience: I am so happy that I came to see Geoff at Athletico Physical Therapy. I’ve had an amazing experience with him and Bailey over the last year. I had a pretty complex surgery in my knee back in February and have had to have 3 surgeries total this year. It has been quite the rollercoaster and Geoff and Bailey have been there for me through it all. Geoff is extremely knowledgeable and goes above and beyond to research and talk with others to find the best treatment plan. He even shared articles with me and explained the why to everything so that I could better understand what was happening with my body. He always has my best interest in mind and helps communicate with all of my surgeons so that I get the best of the best. When I needed a second opinion, he recommended and helped squeeze me in with an amazing surgeon in Madison that helped me with my knee. It’s the best it’s been since my initial injury because of that. I’ve had a lot of complications and he has helped me through every single one of them with care and his expertise. I watch him with other patients and see how kind and caring he is about the individual. When I was at my lowest he was more than encouraging and did everything he could to keep me motivated—he saw it before I even noticed. The bottom line is if you’re looking for a physical therapist that can not only do the job and but go above and beyond to make you feel heard and cared for, Geoff is your guy. I would recommend anyone and everyone to this place for physical therapy.

Fantastic experience: I have had the pleasure of working with Geoff and Bailey for the last year. What started off as a simple post-op recovery quickly took a turn with an arising complication. Geoff was quick to pick up on the fact that something was wrong and made sure to communicate with my surgical team asap. Through his experience and excellent communication with my team, we were able to come up with a probable cause and rehab plan moving forward. Geoff is great about being open and honest about your situation while also keeping things positive and moving in the right direction. He has expertise in many different areas and can really give you a well rounded PT experience. You can also be reassured that he cares about you and your situation and that he will always do what he feels is best for his patients. The facility is always clean and put together and Geoff and Bailey always make the visits enjoyable! Fantastic experience: I have been working with Geoff for the last 2 years for a number of issues. I have a connective tissue disorder that makes treatment a lot more challenging. I have appreciated all of the hard work and patience Geoff has offered me over the years specific to my needs. He goes above and beyond for his patients and I recommend him to everyone. It sometimes feels rare to have someone in your care team that truly treats you for your specific needs and make you feel like not just another patient. He made sure we had one-on-one time so he could perform different techniques that I wouldn't be able to do on my own. A lot better than other clinics where you are only with the PT for a few minutes. Fantastic experience: This is a superb place for your physical therapy needs. My physical therapist, Geoff, is extremely knowledgeable, caring and hard working . He is very involved in your therapy. He personally works with you and personalizes your therapy so it works for you - no "cookie cutter" approaches. The office staff is super friendly and it is easy to get to and easy to schedule appointments.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I have been clients of Geoff at Athletico Madison for the last couple years. We both work physically demanding jobs that often require long shifts and extended work weeks. Geoff is very knowledgeable, friendly and caring. At times, I have walked in to talk about an issue and Geoff has worked me into his schedule that same day. My husband has consulted Geoff on many non PT related issues and Geoff is always willing to listen and give his best recommendations. Fantastic experience: I could not recommend Geoff and his team at Athletico Physical Therapy more. I came to Geoff with two misdiagnoses. After spending a few sessions with Geoff, he correctly diagnosed me and connected me with a surgeon. He offered me support from pre-op to post-op and got me back to doing what I love- running! The facility is always spotless, booking is easy, and I always looked forward to my sessions. Geoff and Bailey make the experience fun. Geoff is passionate about what he does and it shows. Klein is more than an intuitive and kind Physical Therapist, but also a patient advocate, which is rare to find these days. Fantastic experience: I struggled with an injury for over a year until I got help from the amazing folks at Athletico in Madison. A big part of the why my injury lasted so long was because the health professionals I sought out wouldn’t give the time to hear my story and understand the injury. Within 30 min of my initial consult at Athletico, I had a diagnosis (which I hadn’t gotten from anywhere) and then I was on a treatment plan for an injury that I was nervous I could ever resolve. Huge thanks to the wonderful clinicians and staff here in Madison - I can not recommend them enough. Genuine care with an efficient and effective methodology to treating anyone who needs help.

Fantastic experience: I had one of the best experiences working with Geoff. I had a labral tear on my right hip and he was there for me prior to and after my surgical procedure. He was very patient, uplifting and inspiring. He gave me a variety of exercises to do on my own. He would break down each exercise to make sure I understood what we were doing and how it would effect my recovery. The staff were also amazing! Fantastic experience: I had a great experience working with Geoff! This whole facility is excellent—it is very clean and all of the staff are very helpful and friendly. As a student they were very flexible and accommodating with my schedule. I have experienced chronic back issues due to spinal fusion surgery and several hip injuries. Being a runner this has caused major setbacks for me. The level of care Geoff has provided me has been tremendous; by offering me various exercises, dry needling therapy, and a return to running program, I have been able to feel much relief from my pain and have been able to return to my normal workout routine. Geoff also helped me transition as my therapy ended by giving me a detailed list of at-home exercises and responded promptly if I had any other questions or concerns post therapy. The treatment provided for me has significantly improved my quality of life!

Fantastic experience: The reviews do not lie. I was looking for a place that was in close proximity to work that had decent reviews and I went with this location. I definitely feel fortunate that I listened to the reviews because Geoff has been absolutely amazing to work with. I love that he genuinely seems to care and is really knowledgeable. Fantastic experience: My experience was that of growth from extreme knee damage to a healed state of walking and bending. The staff at Athletico work together closely so the client has a total professional treatment at each visit. They are in tune with each client's needs and design the exercises accordingly. I would highly recommend this facility.

Fantastic experience: I had the best experience working with Geoff at this location! They were extremely flexible to fit appointments into my schedule, and really took the time to get to know me. I had shoulder surgery and wanted to get back to contact sports, and wouldn’t have been able to do so without his expertise and dedication to making sure I was doing the right exercises and pushing me to continue to get stronger. He took the time to explain each exercise so I understood what it was helping and why I was doing it, and gave me suggestions and things I could do outside of sessions to make everyday movements easier. He always answered all of my questions, and is a very personable and friendly person to work with. I would highly recommend coming here for physical therapy!

Fantastic experience: I started seeing Geoff late in the summer after some back pain had been going on for a few months. When I started seeing him, I was already to a frustrated point with the pain. I had seen chiropractors and doctors, but nothing seemed to have helped. My journey at Athletico was almost a full year long and had quite a few road blocks. Geoff was so patient with my situation and always optimistic that we would find practical solutions to quiet the pain. He spent so much time with me at each visit and was willing to accommodate my schedule even when it didn’t align perfectly with his hours. He advocated for me in terms of school, doctors, surgery, and so much more. I couldn’t recommend Geoff as a physical therapist more!

Fantastic experience: I came upon this awesome team when an old injury acutely worsened and I needed to find a physical therapist who could accommodate both my health insurance and my difficult schedule. Since my insurance is from out-of-state, I was concerned about coverage, but Nada worked tirelessly to make sure everything would be set for me - she succeeded and I am so grateful. By the end of my first appointment, I knew Geoff was determined to find the root of my pain, but it wasn't until I walked into my second appointment and he said "So I've been thinking a lot about your problem, and I have some ideas for you" that I realized just how determined he was. Geoff truly goes the extra mile for his clients and treats everyone and their unique situations on an individualized basis, providing personalized treatment rarely found elsewhere. Even with a demanding work schedule, I found myself enjoying my sessions because of how fun and relaxed Geoff makes each session. Besides being incredibly knowledgeable and hardworking, Geoff is also very kind and easy to talk to. I also have to give a shout-out to Alex, who is an equally pleasant and strong member of the Athletico team.

Fantastic experience: I ended up at this Athletico location by chance, because it’s near to where I live and covered by insurance , but I’m thrilled with this choice. Geoff has helped me regain much of the mobility in my left shoulder with no pain ! He spends a good hour each visit manipulating my shoulder and going through an exercise program designed to increase strength and mobility. The facility is clean and the staff, Nada and Alex are very helpful and accommodating. I’m amazed at how much progress I made this past month and wish I had come here earlier. I highly recommend this Athletico location at Mineral Point.

Fantastic experience: Before finding Athletico Physical Therapy - Madison through my insurance company, I had been fighting an unknown chronic pain issue for two years. Until I met Geoff, no one really seemed to be able to figure out where the problem stemmed from, or how to even begin to help me. Geoff is kind and determined. He worked with me at each visit to determine the root cause and to attack the problem at the source. He has given me the tools to work with at home to stay as pain-free as possible. He accompanied me to my MD appointment to advocate on my behalf, and was able to get things moving along with images, meds, etc. He is such an encouragement, and an incredible support system. Nada is always pleasant and willing to help find the best appointment that works with your schedule. And Alex is always happy and ready to help. The team at Athletico - Madison has truly been a blessing, and I honestly don't know where I would be without them!

Considering I found it by chance on my insurance provider list, it was the best call I ever made. Geoff Klein is unlike any physical therapist I have ever had. His work ethic is impeccable, and he goes above and beyond any expectations you might have. Giving up is not an option for him and he will work with you until your condition is dramatically improved and your goals are met. He not only looked at my ankle, but also considered my overall health in determining what my PT program would be. I have never had to wait there, and his administrative assistant, Nada, is one of the kindest people you will ever meet. I rated this office 5 stars because not only have I received the best physical therapy ever, but Geoff and Nada also make Athlectico Madison a fun, lively experience, a winning combination for sure!
