Negative experience: Awful experience. Most of the employees very good. Food awful not a place for rehab. Slow on getting proper services. Discharge gave me no instructions gave wrong VNA with wrong telephone number when called no one was calling me back. Don't go there.

Fantastic experience: Just been here 4 days for rehab for my husband And the whole team has been very good helping him out.

Fantastic experience: My mom was sent to BNRC for a rehab assignment due to her heart and legs. The staff was phenomenal, from the minute she was admitted till her day to leave. Many thanks to Emily, Madi, Jen, Michael, Olivia and the whole staff for taking such good care of her. We truly appreciate your caring.

Fantastic experience: Good Afternoon. I have mentioned to a number of my associates the PT/OT capabilities of the Bedford Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. It is an older community, long years in operation in the Manchester, NH area. BNRC has obviously, in that time, earned the five stars I credit them. A family member has twice, recently, needed sustained physical therapy to regain her mobility and be able to perform again the basic tasks of daily living more independently than was possible for her before being admitted to the BNRC center and the care team. She has regained the ability to navigate with a wheelchair and a rollator, to stand and bathe and complete other preparations and tasks without a crippling fear of falling. My family member’s quality of life has been enhanced by the workouts and by the willing attitude to treat each residents needs individually with great good cheer. We are very grateful to have had this community made available to us.

Negative experience: Ive been visiting a family member here for about a year and a half and over the past 6 months the place has really gone down hill. They are ALWAYS understaffed, the laundry situation is ridiculous as its not the workers fault, but no staff. nursing staff is not attentive and the food has definitely declined. Staff are all very nice, but it seems the company is just concerned about saving money versus the residents quality of life, which is what should matter most. Maybe its time our family looks elsewhere, as this is these people homes, but they are the ones who fet the least amout of consideration.

Negative experience: They were so short-staffed 22 years ago my grandmother was in there go out of bed to get in her wheelchair fell and had a big bruise on the back of her head when I asked what happened they said oh we don't know and then when she passed away she had necklaces on she never took off and they weren't in her belongings

Negative experience: My dad needed rehab, after breaking his hip, and femur. I will never allow another family member here again. They are very short staffed, to the point that every weekend there was never enough staff to get him out of bed. I was told he was getting it, only later to be told he was not. My dad’s VA disability Is his stomach , I literally had to follow a RN around to complain that they needed to adjust his meds. I felt like I was being dismissed by the staff all the time about this situation. Talking to individuals they were nice enough to, but they did not work well together. I’m not even going to talk about the laundry issue. I had to give them one star to get it to post.

Fantastic experience: Have visited, very nice place especially with the new renovations

Fantastic experience: My experiences with BNRC activities has been nothing but positive. To start, there are painting classes with our teacher Steve or arts and crafts lessons with Kim. You may be playing bingo one minute then patting Holly our resident beagle pup. Then next you are in the beginning of a word game. Lastly, you may be helping to grow our garden as we do for our salads. Just chatting under the tent, barbequing or roasting up marshmallows for smores, the actvities here are endless. In our very near future we will be travelling on our bus for daily outings. Whether the dollar store or some museum near by our activites group will remain nothing but positive.

Fantastic experience: My wife has been fortunate to have been cared for at BNRC for the past 18 months. She has early-onset Alzheimer’s and has progressed to worsening cognitive and memory issues. Her care was provided by all the warm and caring BNRC staff members, but especially the Activities team. Penny worked as a singer all her life, and singing was her life. Kim and the staff realized how deeply important an issue this was and did everything they could to create opportunities for Penny to, at first, lead singing in the facility, and later to participate in all the musical events. I will always appreciate the Activities staff and their tireless care and concern. But also, the way they understood the deep importance of singing to Penny.

Negative experience: Building is shabby and dirty

Fantastic experience: Though my loved one was in this facility for a little over two weeks, the care was absolutely wonderful. The compassion, communication and support helped a difficult journey be a bit less anxious and stressful. I truly believe he could not have had better care anywhere. Thank you to Zachary, Peter and Constance for your kindhearted and tender care, you have made a difference in our family that is appreciated more than you know.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful place. So well organized and clean. Medical staff completely trained , friendly, always there immediately when I push my alert button. Always checking on me to make sure I'm comfortable and I don't need anything. I'm so happy here. Thank you BNRC for taking me and God Bless you.

Fantastic experience: Incredibly grateful for BNRC and the level of care they provided my father before he transitioned home to hospice. Tremendous compassion and skilled care, wonderful staff. Thank you for all the work you do!

Negative experience: I know someone who was in this facility and they got rotten Care and they got a cold baked potato and applesauce and their clothes were stolen

Fantastic experience: My husband was sent here for rehab. I was a little nervous because of the reviews I have read. It turns out that the facility was a good place for my husband. The staff helped him a great deal. He is now home and thriving and should anything happen. He would definitely go back to that place. It is a good place and they are good people.

Negative experience: Do not let your family come here. My father came here for rehab and entered with 3 wounds on his legs. He had to go to the hospital twice while there, once for a nose bleed that took them 4 hours to decide to transport him and the 2nd were due to some bad lab numbers. When he arrived at the hospital the 2nd time he had something like 12 open wounds that had been extremely poorly cared for. His last couple of days there they had his feet so tightly wrapped the nurses at the hospital were shocked. He had money stolen and when asking an overnite aid for some assistance in changing his wet socks the aid scoffed at gim and said "why would I help with that" and walked out. My father was unfortunately never going to survive his issues in the long term but this place significantly shortened his time on earth. He went to Premier Rehab when he got out of the hospital and they were a night and day difference, great facility and great medical care. Sadly my father went home on hospice on 3/28 and passed early morning on 4/1. Miss you buddy.

Fantastic experience: My mom has been a resident for 2 1/2 years. The care she receives is phenomenal! The staff all truly care about their patients iand it shows. Her food is prepared perfectly for her dietary needs. The nursing staff are always diligent in her care. The recreation dept offers a variety of activities. She gets her hair and nails done once a week and loves it! We have team meetings regularly to keep everyone updated on progress.

Negative experience: horrible. do not send your loved ones here. all the 5 star reviews are from the nursing home side. the rehabilitation center is awful.

Negative experience: Around a week ago my grandmother had received knee surgery on her right knee, then as a result she needed to seek help from a rehabilitation center. Unfortunately she did not meet the needs to go to an " acute rehab" so the BNRC looked like our best option. Most of these 5 star reviews you see are from family members of the nursing home residents that only visit 2-3 times a month, however, since my grandmother has been in rehab here I have visited her twice a day for long periods of time. While they may or may not be good at the nursing home section, the rehab and nursing staff on this side of the building is absolutely disappointing and unprofessional. My grandmother is constantly neglected from needs like going to the bathroom, is refused a shower until a week later, only receives 10 minutes of genuine walking and "rehabilitation" a day and receives her medicine and other basic information inconsistently by the staffing in the building. If you are seeking a rehabilitation center to get up and moving or just back to your regular daily life, I absolutely discourage picking this place as the "rehabilitation" part of the name is almost a joke.

Positive experience: My mother is a current resident of BNRC. She has been a resident for18 months. I continue to be very impressed with the care she is receiving from all staff. The facility is clean and the outside areas are pleasant. What I admire the most is that whether it is a staff member from housekeeping, nursing, activities, kitchen, etc., they have been able to connect with my mother and treat her with kindness and dignity.

Fantastic experience: Having my Mom living at the BNRC as a resident has been, and continuing to be a blessing. The entire staff from Administration to cleaning staff to housekeeping to event planners to physical therapy have all exceeded my expectations. Thank you all !

Fantastic experience: I've been an employee of Bedford Nursing and Rehab Center, also known as BNRC, for the past three years and I have to say that this nursing home really looks out for the residents who live there! Contrary to some of the other reviews, resident care is anything but lacking to me. The kitchen provides excellent services and the dining areas are always immaculate! The nurses make sure all of the patients are well taken care of. All staff go above and beyond to make sure residents are well dressed and well fed. And we can't forget the amazing activity workers who make ALL of the magic happen! If you want to see it for yourself, just come to the Annual Pig Roast, where you can meet the owner who roasts and serves the pig himself. There is so much that's offered at this small nursing home and I am proud to call it a Five Star facility any day!

Fantastic experience: During this entire pandemic this facility has gone above , and beyond the call of duty. All of their staffing are absolute professionals, especialy the big guy. What a nice man.

Fantastic experience: My mom just moved here this fall. I'm from out of state so my only contact has been via phone. Each time I've called the staff who answer have been exceptionally pleasant. My mom seemed to be thriving here. I just came up for a visit and stayed with my mom each day for a lengthy visit. I was so totally impressed with the level of loving care she is receiving. Everyone seems to genuinely care for her and she for them. The atmosphere is so pleasant. Don't let the older building discourage you. This place is amazing. Thank you so much for loving my mom

Fantastic experience: A good place to work and also wonderful care! The administrator is wonderful and stays every once in awhile as an aide and helps out with the things he legally can help with. The food is also great compared to most.
