Fantastic experience: I highly recommend going to Refine PT and Performance to anyone in need of physical therapy. You feel like you are a part of a family here. All of the staff at Refine are knowledgeable, professional, and so personable. I worked with Bailey for a couple of months and it was amazing to have her as my therapist. She helped me along my postpartum journey and provided me with the guidance I needed. She was so patient and a fantastic coach during the sessions. I can honestly say I went in feeling quite nervous, and once I graduated I was back to myself and I feel confident to continue therapy at home. I brought my newborn son for each session and the staff was absolutely wonderful with him as well. If I ever have a need for PT again I will definitely return to Refine!

Fantastic experience: I was recently referred to Refine PT and it was a game changer. I’ve had about a year or so of back pain, and within the first few weeks it was slowly starting to whittle away. This place is not only great for athletes, but people of all ages and abilities. My trainer, Seth, put me to work and it’s the only reason I can go on with my daily life without any limitations. The staff is top notch and they genuinely care about your well being. They push you gently yet firmly to become stronger and push your body to new limits with each session. This is the place to go.

Fantastic experience: Refine and Thrive is extraordinarily effective in therapy they provide. They tailor exercises to specific areas a client needs with an integration of traditional physical therapy with fitness exercises more typical of a fitness trainer. The therapists do not recommend exercises that are not focused on the problem of client. They do not have one repeat exercises just for the sake of repetition. And they inquire each visit about progress as well as new or ongoing problems. And they educate the client about the rationale for each exercise. They educate a client on nutrition, role of protein, and how diet works best. They share expertise without any superior attitude. The therapists are also very interested in discovering what client perceives about the treatment. The therapist accompanies the client with support and affirmation as well honesty. The atmosphere is affirming. The therapists also have a sense of humor that makes clients comfortable. I highly recommend Refine and Thrive. Bob Poirier

Fantastic experience: I cannot describe how wonderful my experience was with Bailey and Morgan. I had torn my ACL and opted to attempt a PT rehab instead of surgery. 10 weeks later, my legs are stronger than they were in high school, and I’m back to playing sports and am feeling better than ever! This is not only the best PT organization in Mobile, it might be the best medical office experience I’ve ever had!

Fantastic experience: The Refine family is the best! We are so thankful for Bailey working with our daughter to treat and teach her how to be safer in the gym while still being able to work out as a gym gymnast. Logan really helped my husband with his hip and lower back and taught him how to work out safer so that he can get healthier. We will definitely return to Refine for any of our PT needs!

Fantastic experience: This is the most wonderful place to have your physical therapy! One on one sessions with caring, loving and skilled doctors creates a truly unique physical therapy experience! I fell off of my roof and shattered my left upper humerus. Two surgeries, plate, screws, rotator cuff repair and 56 physical therapy sessions. I live 25 miles away and I have never minded the drive. In fact, I have always looked forward to each and every one of my 56 sessions! I am forever grateful for these folks who have been right there with me every step of the way! There is no doubt that I have the range of motion and strength in my left shoulder because of Refine!

Fantastic experience: I received the best pelvic floor postpartum PT here by Bailey and Morgan. The staff here are both professional and friendly and physical therapist both extremely knowledgeable and encouraging. Every session I truly felt like I was improving and getting the care I needed! I am so thankful I got the help I needed to relieve back and hip pain and restore my core! I now feel stronger and have been given the tools needed to continue improving and feeling my best in motherhood. I highly recommend this place for all mothers whether you are 4 weeks PP or 4 years! It’s worth it!

Fantastic experience: I cannot speak more highly of Refine PT and Performance! Their staff is extremely knowledgable and cater your sessions to your personal issues, not just generally hip or knee pain. I've been to PT before at other locations and received very generic sessions and pamphlets for how we would make my joints better. Refine PT is not like any ordinary PT office, they provide very personalized treatment plans. You also get to see the same person every visit, so they know your progress and what you've tried before. They take excellent notes each session to keep you moving forward! I went in for hip pain and I ha been experiencing for a while and didn't know how it originated. They worked with me to figure out what the issue most likely was and then we began strengthening it. They also keep your life in mind. I personally enjoy working out and do so regularly and my physical therapist (Logan Blake) help me adjust my scheduled workouts so I could complete them without pain and keep up my level of fitness. He also made my sessions keeping in mind that I would workout. During my PT sessions we would do things that I couldn't do as easily on my own. With any medical appointment it is good to bring in notes. Logan liked that I'd come back with a detailed list of when I felt pain or discomfort in my hip and what I was doing when it happened so that he could adjust that days session. I cannot recommend a place more highly than Refine PT and Performance. I never plan to go anywhere else if I need PT again in the future. Another bonus is that from the moment you walk in you feel so welcome in this place. Laken at the front desk is so genuine and you instantly feel comfortable. And everyone knows your name, even the people you haven't actually worked with.

Fantastic experience: Kyle and Refine Physical Therapy saved my life! You dont have to keep reading after this, just make an appt at Refine now. They are the best physical therapy clinic in Baldwin and Mobile county. For 7 years I had debilitating back pain and sciatica nerve pain. I could not lift more than a few lbs, twist, bend, do laundry/dishes, drive or fly in an airplane without extreme discomfort. I was in my 20s! My friends were out living their lives and I was trapped in a chronic pain nightmare. Over the years I saw 3 chiropractors, 3 acupuncturists, 4 massage therapists, 6 physical therapists, did water therapy, yoga, Pilates, had 2 steroid injections into my spine, prescribed every steroid and pain med you can think of. Nothing helped. Saw a surgeon after 3 years of the pain and he would not operate because I was “too young”. In 2022, while painting my house I ended up completely herniated L5/S1 disc to the point I lost feeling in my left leg/foot and could hardly walk. A surgeon at Mobile infirmary saw me and said it was the worst herniations he had seen. Had me scheduled for surgery immediately. I was then referred to the “hospitals physical therapy clinic”. The PT would only spend the first appt with me, after that I was with a different assistant each time making no progress. After two months I started searching for a clinic where the PT would spend the entire time one on one with you and CARED about their patients. That’s when I found Kyle. From sept 2022 to oct 2023 Kyle spent two days a week with me EVERY SINGLE WEEK. I went from 0 confidence, being able to lift only 2lbs to full confidence in my abilities and squatting 100lbs last week! Do not settle for mediocre health care. Refine is top notch and worth every penny. I can travel, workout, and just do daily activities that I never could do because of them. You have to put in the work but they will be right be your side the whole time. Thank you Refine and Kyle for never giving up on me. It took me a whole year, but in Oct 2023 I graduated from physical therapy and now weight lifting and exercising is an important part of my life that I am forever grateful to be able to do.

Bailey was always there with a comforting environment, motivation for me to get better, and to hold my baby if she started to fuss. Fantastic experience: Been to a few PTs and this one was by far the best and most encouraging to work with. Every physical therapist there, not just the one who works with you, always has a smile on their face and takes their time to greet you and make you feel welcomed! Most importantly, I was able to rebuild my confidence and strength in my elbow and now feel like my normal self again. All of the therapists workout and have athletic backgrounds and practice what they preach!

Fantastic experience: I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Refine PT and Performance and can't recommend them highly enough. The entire staff was completely professional, knowledgeable and welcoming from my very first visit. They made what could have been a very unenjoyable experience not only fun but extremely beneficial. My therapist, Seth, was a true Godsend during my 3 months of twice-weekly visits after I had hip tendon surgery last spring. His encouragement, undivided one-on-one attention and desire to get me stronger with each session was exemplary. I couldn't have asked for a better therapist. Needless to say I wouldn't hesitate one second to call on Refine PT and Performance again should I ever need more therapy.

Fantastic experience: I have been to Logan two times - once for neck issues and once to address shoulder pain. Both times, he was so attentive to my problems, and I saw great improvement and increased strength in my whole upper body because of our work to strengthen the areas around my pain. Logan truly listens each time I come in to find out where we need to focus our efforts. A few weeks ago, I had a terrible case of vertigo. My dr gave me meds that made me sleepy and didn’t improve the dizziness. One hour with Logan manipulating through four maneuvers completely cured my dizziness and nausea!! I love the individualized attention to each client and the atmosphere of Refine. Thanks, Logan and Kyle, for working to create such a great place for PT!! Highly recommend!!

Fantastic experience: I came to Bailey Barnett for some postpartum PT and can’t thank (or recommend!) her enough for her amazing care. Bailey is down-to-earth, humble, knowledgeable, and also just hilarious and fun. During my appointments, I felt heard, known, and encouraged—never judged or shamed. Fantastic experience: After a recurring lower back injury that kept getting worse, I was looking for help not only to relieve that pain, but to learn the cause of it and how to prevent it in the future. Kyle did exactly that for me. From day one he made me feel comfortable and really listened to my symptoms and goals for myself. Fantastic experience: Kyle and the team at Refine are amazing. I had what I was told was chronic tennis elbow and my only option was surgery or live with it. This came from and Ortho surgeon I was seeing. I finally found a sports medicine orthopedist and he sent me to Refine. I have had a lot of PT in my past but nothing as good as this. It's not cookie cutter PT. They make a plan for your circumstances. All you have to do is committ to doing what they tell you do. For me, it's 3 months later and I can do all the things I could not do the last two and a half years. I am pain free and it's amazing. Thanks Kyle you are amazing.

Fantastic experience: I primarily worked with Logan. However, I went through two separate rounds of physical therapy for lower back pain and eventually worked with Kyle, Seth and Baily. They were all very knowledgeable and worked well with me. Logan always listened to every question or complaint (!) and took time to ensure that I understood the steps we were taking and the goal. He always checked my status to see what my pain level was. He took me to the VIA Fitness Room and showed me many exercises to do using their equipment. I was able to continue my PT routines after our sessions were finished. Logan taught a senior lady how to deadlift 55 lbs! I am so much stronger now! I highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: Best PT clinic I have been to. I worked with Kyle at their midtown location and had a fantastic experience. I was getting rehab for a herniated disc. Kyle helped me find relief, but also helped me identify the movements and activities that caused the pain. He didn't just focus on the immediate need. He made sure that I had the knowledge, strength, and flexibility to prevent future issues. Previous clinics I went to for rehab had the PT or PTA splitting their time between me and one or two other clients. The PTs at Refine give you their undivided attention for the entire appointment.

Fantastic experience: Kyle was fantastic to do PT with. I've done PT a couple of different times at various places and Refine was by far the best PT experience I've ever had. Kyle's one-on -one method was much more effective than other places Ive done PT at previously. He is very knowledgeable, communicative, and ensures that the excercises are being done the correct way to target certain muscles and get the most benefit as possible from PT.

Fantastic experience: I worked with both Logan and Kyle during my time at Refine PT for my shoulder. I have had issues with it due to my job as an ultrasound technician. I was referred to them due to their proximity to work, however, I will drive all the way from Baldwin County to continue seeing them if I need PT again. They worked so hard to understand what positions I was using at work that irritated my shoulder and made sure I was targeting those during my appointments. Even though they prefer that you stick with one physical therapist throughout your time to cut down on repetitive questions and exercises, they accommodated my schedule and could not have been more coordinated with their notes. Each appointment was very efficient and effective. You get the results you work for, and they make it very enjoyable. I highly recommend this office for any of your PT needs.

Fantastic experience: Logan at RPT was very professional and thorough. I had a back to life outcome! He gave very informational instruction, never pushed to hard and always asked for feedback while working with my arm. I was suffering with "Frozen Shoulder" on my left arm, I could not put my hand on my hip, could not raise my arm next to my ear and could not put my hand behind my back. My movements where restored with hands on work and guided exercise. Thank you again Logan, I was getting worse and would not have been able to correct this on my own!

Fantastic experience: The best place I have ever been for PT! I have struggled with shin issues for years but physical therapy has never helped. Kyle knew exactly how to target my shin and I have fully recovered and now have 0 pain! These guys know exactly how to help get you back to doing what you long quickly and efficiently.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to physical therapy by a neurosurgeon as an alternative to neck surgery for 3 herniated cervical discs. I am SO glad I chose PT with Dr. Thibodeaux rather than proceeding with surgery. Dr. Thibodeaux helped me improve my range of neck motion and helped decrease pain to a level that I didn't think was possible! He also helped decrease hip & back pain. Dr. Thibodeaux takes a 1-on-1 therapy approach, so he wasn't stretched seeing multiple patients at once. He had an excellent bedside manner, listened attentively, and had a patient-centered approach to therapy. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Thibodeaux!

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough good things about Kyle Thibodeaux at Refine PT and Performance who rehabbed my son’s reconstructed ACL. The surgeon was always so impressed with his progress in recovering from surgery. By the end of the process, my son’s reconstructed leg’s range of motion and strength was equal to that of the non repaired leg- and both legs were stronger than pre injury! Kyle was patient and thoroughly understands the psychology of the injured athlete and the ordeal they face in rehabbing from serious injury and surgery. I always looked forward to our time with him because I knew every visit meant a step toward my son returning to the sport he loves!

Fantastic experience: Saw Kyle Thibodeaux for a shoulder injury. He was awesome! He knew I wanted to recover, but continue to workout. He formulated a plan and tried a multitude of exercises and treatments which eventually allowed me to regain full mobility and strength. Would 100% refer anyone needing any type of PT to go see him.

He has compassion about his job and making sure you are not in pain. Hopefully I don’t get injured again, but if I do he’s my go to therapist.

Spent a little over 4 weeks with Kyle to try to avoid surgery and can say that’s the best decision I ever made for my fitness journey and over all well being. I have full range of motion back with zero pain and finally able to enjoy going to the gym again!
