Fantastic experience: After suffering from a pinched nerve and seaking treatment from various healthcare providers for nearly 4 weeks, Maria was finally able to help me relieve my pain. Through massage she was able to pin point which nerves and muscles needed to be worked on to relieve my pain and regain function in my hand arm and shoulder. Fantastic experience: I had a back injury at work three years ago that flattened two thoracic discs. For the past three years, not a single day went by without pain. Since it was a Comp injury, I went to physical therapy twice a week for 6 weeks. This was absolutely useless. The workmans comp doctor put me on pain killers and NSAIDS, but that only masked the pain. Since I dont' want to be addicted to pain meds, I quit the drugs and dealt with the pain. Then I heard about "Back Care Yoga". I tried that and got plantar fasciitis and MORE back pain. I was running out of options. I've always thought of chiropractors as quacks and frauds, but I was at the end of my rope. I tried a chiropractor and all of my initial suspicions were confirmed. Chiropractors aren't worth a damn. It was looking as though I was going to live the rest of my life in pain. Then I found Stephanie... I had massage therapy before, but nothing like this. Stephanie found knots in my back that no other CMT was able to find. She worked my muscle spasms out massaged out all of the knots along my spine. At my first visit, my pain was at an 8. All day, everyday was unending constant pain. After about a month of massage therapy, the pain was a manageable 2 to where I could go back to the gym and workout. It's been two months and I am back to running again. The pain is still there, but is drastically reduced and getting better. I credit my recovery completely to Stephanie's skill. While she is awesome, your first couple of visits will be quite painful, but it will be a "good hurt". Soldier on through. It will get better. She is well worth every penny! Don't live in pain.
