Fantastic experience: I spent 34 days as a patient in this facility. I have been to 3 other rehab facilities, and this one leaves all of them in the dust. The detox was as easy as it could possibly be, and the providers really work with you on med management. Ken, Jhon, allen, and Jack helped me with all my day to day struggles, and I have much love and respect for them. I felt heard and understood. My therapist Sam was amazing, he helped me realize things about myself that had to change if I was going to have a chance to stay sober, and helped me form a plan that I could put into motion. The facility was a safe environment, and it was not constant class after class. I felt human and had fun for the first time in a long time. The atmosphere was one of hope and understanding. I would recommend this facility to anyone serious about this change. I love all the staff and thank them all for helping me get my life back.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend them. I’ve been here twice. My 2nd time here I had a bad relapse and they were able to get me right in no questions asked. I’ve done their IOP and OP program too and had great success with it. They give you all the tools you need to live a successful recovery and extend follow up support even when your no longer a patient. The employees feel like family and most have been through it themselves. They have fun activities, clean houses, and great food if you don’t mind cooking!

A sincerely caring staff makes all the difference when it comes to healing, and I can without hesitation say that I felt cared for by all my facilitators, in particular my therapist in both my ones with him as well as my process groups in which he consistently created and maintained a safe, respectful, profoundly introspective place of healing, insight, viscerally impactful recovery. I looked forward to my process groups every day , and always walked away from them feeling better about my day, my growth, and life. Fantastic experience: Not proud to say that I’ve been to rehab before. This place was different. It offered help with the thought process that causes me to use. I’m home and I have the tools and I’m feeling good about recovery for the first time. Loved the physical attributes as well. Kayaking, archery and a beautiful campus! Fantastic experience: Everything was great with the classes and all the important information I learned. Especially about the brain and how the drugs or alcohol affect it. Brandon was by far the best class there. He's incredibly talented and very well educated on sobriety and what it takes to stay sober. Also very happy with the activities. Everything from music and art all the way to kayaking, archery, learning about the horses and sports. Very satisfied with how they make sure to contact you after you leave and actually care to check up you. My therapist Sarah is amazing too. She helped my thru some tough spots and showed me she actually cares for her clients. Gotta be grateful also for Jones who was one of the activities leaders who helped me understand nature and how his Indian background relates to great ways to stay sober and teaching us about his heritage. Theres several other people who touched my heart like Tori my counselor, Josh my residential coach and Brittney the aftercare specialist who keeps checking up on me. My medications were there to help me and you can tell the medical staff care about you as well and accomidate your needs with a smile. The only thing I can say bad was the miscommunication between staff and how short staffed they are. However, with being understaffed at the moment they still attended to everyones needs and even if they worked very long hours they did it for us. I never felt in need while I was there which says a lot about their characters. Super unselfish and loving. I definitely recommend this place for everyone in need of some help and a break from their addiction. I got all the tools I needed and Im finally done with my addiction to any drug or alcohol. The rehab and the relationships I made definitely hit me in the heart and I intend to stay motivated and work very hard to never relapse again. It is a lifeling process but I intend on doing it. Fantastic experience: JourneyPure at The River is a wonderful place to get started in the process of learning how to live a healthy and clean life. Every single person is taken care of and needs are heard and met. JourneyPure at The River helped save MY life and I would recommend it to anyone that is wanting to get help!!!! They also have wonderful alumni coordinators that keeps in contact with you after your completion of the program; which helps to make you feel like you’re thought about and cared about!! Once a patient there, now I am an employee of over 2 years. It feels so good to be on the other side, getting to help people who are in the same situation that I was once in.

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough good things about journey pure - Murfreesboro. I admitted myself into their location about a year ago and received incredible care. Every single staff member: councilor, therapist, nurse, etc. provided a safe and trusting environment for us to work through our problems and move forward. The location is tucked back in a remote area that allows you to feel more at ease. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: If you, a friend or loved one is suffering from alcohol or drug addiction and you can't take it anymore then this is where you should go. I spent a few years lying to myself. I spent 32 days here and came home myself again. I feel better I look better. Everyone was amazing. The intake staff is very helpful they did my FMLA for me. The detox nurses are spot on. The chef is awesome. The recovery coaches are impressive. The therapists are tremendous. The NP's are great. The music, art, activity and equine therapy is the absolute best. The land is so beautiful and relaxing. They take you to outside meetings and activities. It's not over once you leave. They have two awesome ladies who follow up with to see how you are doing. Every other Wednesday you are invited to the on campus alumni meeting. They have an app that at any time you can re-read the material taught when you were there. The app sends you a daily affirmation to keep you going. You can also chat if you need to talk. You can keep a recovery diary on this app as well. It was a place where I was able to go and take the time to heal me. I hope to one day work there and help others as JP helped me. Love you guys and thank you The most comforting part was that most of the staff are either in recovery themselves or have been directly affected by someone with addiction. They truly understand the struggle and are there to help you they truly care.

Fantastic experience: What a great place to reground yourself and find your direction again. With the times we live in it is easy to loose focus and self medicate ourselves numb. JourneyPure has proven that there is hope and a way to find heathy ways to cope with problems of the world without addiction or d/a!!! I went in 2021 when I thought my world was closing in on me and I had to “escape”. The grounded me and retaught me the things that matter. Everyday there, was a closer day to a new and improved me. I am not sure where my road would of lead me without everyone there. If you find yourself slipping into a path of addiction please give them a call and let them help you find the “good life” again. Life is precious and they help you regain your confidence to live normal again.

Fantastic experience: I had a seriously life changing experience at this facility. The staff was very supportive and helpful. Many of the staff are in recovery and have a wealth of knowledge on the process of growth required to maintain sobriety. You get a weekly meeting with your therapist and group therapy. The therapists are incredibly skilled and compassionate. From day one you get a case manager that ensures you have ample after care and are receiving the care you need while you are at the facility. I can't say enough good things about my stay here! Advocate for yourself and put in what you want to get out and you will not be disappointed with the growth you will achieve!

As an addict, we are good at manipulating and making ourselves look like the victim. They are good at calling you out on your BS and helping you get to the bottom of why you started to use to begin with and start Rebuilding the new and improved clean version of yourself, The staff, the nurses, the counselors, and all the staff all go above and beyond to make you feel safe and validated in your emotions so that after treatment you can be the strongest version of yourself possible! Most of the staff are in recovery as well, so when they say they know what you're going through they truly know what you're going through. I would recommend this place to anyone who is serious about changing their life and and being finished with drugs and alcohol. They also assist you in setting up any after care that you may need also. Their support doesn't stop once you complete treatment you will have a recovery coach that will call and text to check on you and is always available for whatever needs you may have!! Fantastic experience: I attended Journey Pure in 2021 when I was in the darkest place in my life. My addiction had taken full control of me and I had no idea where to turn. I found their website online and the staff reached out to me immediately. Within 48 hours they had secured me a spot, approved my insurance and had my transportation ready. All I had to do was show up. The nursing staff took such good care of me while I was detoxing and kept tabs on me during the entirety of my stay just in case I needed anything. Their physicians met with me often to make sure I was on the proper meds and that they were working. The peer support staff are the real MVPs of this place. They are with you during your worst and best times, helping you and guiding you in your journey the same way they were helped. Their real life experience with addiction and recovery made my dream of recovery a reality. Two years later they still call to check in with me and follow me in my own recovery journey at home. You can't go wrong with JP. Getting clean is scary and overwhelming but you are in the best hands with the staff here at Journey Pure. Recovery is possible!

Fantastic experience: This place was the absolute best place I could have chosen. All the staff and doctors counselors were amazing! They really do care and know exactly what you need to help get you back to you! They truly gave me my life back and I’m so thankful for this place! There is so many things and activities to do while your there and one definite perk about this place after you make it to php you get your phone back and can prepare for when you get to go home! Fantastic experience: Journey Pure for me will forever be the turning point in my life. The knowledge gained and the help received from the staff, has given me the confidence and ability to stay strong in my recovery. From the moment I got on campus I felt safe and like I belonged. My RC Josh, has been one of the most impactful humans I have ever encountered. His ability to connect with patients is unteachable and essential to a patients recovery, I don’t think I’d have the attitude I have right now with out him. My therapist Sarah, also played a massive role in my time there, for the first time in my life I have been able to love myself and trust myself. She helped me get to that point, she made you feel safe and it gave you the confidence to be vulnerable, which is exactly what is needed to have a successful recovery. I look forward to being able to always be an Alumni at Journey Pure. I can’t wait to reconnect with them at Alumni meetings, it’s certainly a team I would want to be a part of. Fantastic experience: This was my second time around going to this treatment facility and wow the staff and councilors are amazing. They truly care about their patients. I want to shout out to Josh the RC always went above and beyond for his house. Thank you Josh for everything you done when I was there. Also my councilor and Serita she helped me so much for what I needed to get done for my discharge. On top of that the detox nurses are so sweet and caring, whatever you need they will help! Overall 5/5 I highly recommend if you need help this is this place to go!!

I was down and out and completely in a dark place.I spent 36 days there and can honestly say I don’t know where I would be today if I hadn’t made that call in February. If there’s anyone who needs help can’t do it along I would definitely recommend this place. Fantastic experience: A true space for discovery. From the therapists to the medical staff and the coaches, everyone has the same goal, to help you get better and feel better. When I made the decision to begin my recovery journey this is not what I expected, in the best way possible. I was introduced to a community that continues to support me and a way of living that I never thought possible. Journey Pure helped me understand my disease, tools to cope with the mental hurdles, and a support system that pushed me when I needed it. This place and these people will forever be the reason I take it one day at a time and know that it's not always going to be easy, but it is worth it, and so am I.

This is a place with a staff who genuinely want to see you recover and live a healthy life. From the most caring techs and nurses in detox, the amazing RC staff, the killer transportation team all the way to some of the best drug and alcohol counselors that I have ever had. Also, definitely can’t leave out equine, some of the best life lessons I’ve ever gotten came from this group. So incredibly thankful for journey pure and it’s amazing staff, 10000/10 would recommend to anyone struggling with drug or alcohol addiction!

Fantastic experience: Journey Pure is an amazing healing place!!! I don’t even know where to start as how amazing this program is!!! They are hands on everything! You’re not just sitting in a class all day! They have a farm there with all kinds of animals and you interact with them!! It’s a different kind of level of love! Most of the workers there are also in recovery so they just get it. They are very kind and understanding. There is also music groups and art. I’ve been to a few rehabs and this one is the best! It’s like it’s own little town. A lot of land and space! The houses are newer very home and tons of room!! I love this place and the staff!!! Fantastic experience: For those willing to do the work of recovery, there is no better place to do so. Dedicated staff, and a perfect location to concentrate on becoming a better version on yourself. I have to warn you though, it can be a very expensive mistake if you don't have the right intentions. I missed my wedding anniversary for this program, and spent more than I was willing to in the beginning. Worth it. The money comes and goes, but being a husband and human worth celebrating holds more value to me than the sacrifice and cost. They never did help me with my long-winded nature though.

Fantastic experience: I went to Journey Pure a little over 2 years ago for in patient rehab in Murphysboro, TN. At first I hated it I felt like my life and freedom had been stripped away. I came to realize I put myself in the situation and these people and my fellow inpatients needed me as much as I needed them. The counseling and all of the workers were there for us. At the end of my 30 days I was thriving and doing awesome, but still scaered. I get a call and a text frequently from my counselor Merrideth she has followed me and kept in touch with me. She has been supportive every step of the way and so has Journey Pure. A friend of mine recommended Journey Pure to me and I highly recommend this particular Journey Pure myself. My only regret is I didn’t go sooner. They helped me get and stay sober. I had and have to do the work too. I know you can too. Just reach out to them and they will do the rest to get you the help you need. Be true to yourself. You and I are worth it.

Fantastic experience: Reviews are very important especially for rehab facilities for someone needing to get help and overcome addiction. There are good and there are bad and, but please know that Journeypure in TN is an A+ place!!! My son who has been to numerous facilities over the years during his recovering journey. We will write a book someday, but for now we do want to let others know about places like this, and how it made a difference for him and it can help you too! My son said the staff was great, very caring, checking on you often. The biggest thing for him there he said was they actually work on you, the person, not just your addiction. That is key, you had a busy schedule each day, from therapy to groups to discussions, then activities like kayaking, animals, painting, reading and more. Group cooking and meals, and so much more. What I personally liked is from the time we made the phone call to admission, they acted quickly to confirm availability and have a bed/room ready, then we needed help to get him there and they arranged for transportation, and were welcoming when he got there to go thru intake and detox where they monitor your often, I want to say hourly almost. Once able to move to residential, which was when he was ready, he was still checked on with dr and attended therapy weekly and group therapy daily. They actually helped him to get off of suboxone which he had been on and really didn't help him but could never get off till there. If he had a rough day, they addressed it, they do the 30 days at this facility and then you can go on to the next phases in the area or outpatiend back home, which he did. But the experience there changed his life and was priceless. I hope this helps others to ask the right questions and go to the right places that care and want you to be well. Fantastic experience: Over the years I have been in several rehab centers, but JourneyPure Murfreesboro is by far the best. The staff really cares about you as an individual. The treatment approach is thorough and is presented in a manner that is easy to understand. The grounds and the buildings are newer and well maintained. This place is perfect for outdoor types. It was developed on a former farm and has over a quarter mile frontage on the Stones River.

Fantastic experience: This place is amazing!! I went to the Murfreesboro location. I could never express enough how much it has changed my life. This was my 1st rehab so I don't have another one to compare it to but that's ok because it alone was enough. The staff all can relate to you in such a way that you can just tell that they get you. The tools and resources they provide are an excellent learning and coping mechanism to use in your daily life to maintain sobriety. I can't say enough good about this place and all the staff. If it wasn't for God and Journey Pure I can say with certainty I wouldn't be here today!!! 5/5/22

With this program and the support after I got home, I have been sober for 90 days and can actually see me living the rest of my life sober! Fantastic experience: Journey Pure literally saved my life. I had been to treatment once before going here and it was supposedly the best of the best but that program did not reach me on any level.....matter of fact I did an AMA and went straight home and relapsed. However; upon arriving to Journey Pure I was greeted by an amazing staff on the office end, a caring team of nurses in the Medical Detox that did everything they could to help me with my withdrawals. The chef even worked hard to meet my dietary needs. But the actual RCs in the houses, o the staff that led groups and recreation, and the amazing transportation team that went above and beyond their duties.....these people and this program saved my life. I am almost 3 months sober and that's the longest I've been clean in 10 years. Journey Pure will take you to outside meetings and they even have an incredible alumni meeting on the campus. The staff over alumni actually reach out to you to see how your doing when you leave. My whole experience at this facility changed my whole life and saved me because if it weren't for each and everyone affiliated with this treatment facility I would for sure be dead by now.. these people aren't here for a paycheck they are there because they genuinely care and most are in their own recovery too so they have the ability to relate to what you are going thru versus a physician or therapist with a bunch of alphabet letters behind their name yet no real idea about what it's like to be an addict.. I strongly recommend this program to anyone looking to get clean and sober.

Fantastic experience: In the darkest moments in my life, this facility was indeed a life saver. Although I value my anonymity, I felt it important to share my experience for those looking for needed help. Each event, group, counseling session has a specific function that aids in your recovery, IF you are willing to put in the work. This is not a retreat....it's, HOWEVER an awesome facility to jump start and follow through your recovery. It was a safe place for me and i am grateful to this place. The staff (admin, nurses, RA's, counselors) is passionate in what they do, and I feel they are truly invested in your recovery - long after you leave the campus. The campus location is amazing and serene. They have an awesome alumni program, that allow successful work to be shared with the new comers /patients. Fantastic experience: I attended an Intensive Outpatient Program for Alcohol in November 2021 through February 2022. My counselor was Dorothy Reinagel and she honestly saved my life. The program started me on a path to recovery and I’m incredibly blessed to have found this place as my first option. Fantastic experience: Journey Pure absolutely changed my life. My clean date is 7/10/17. This place was so much different than any other treatment facilities I have ever been to. They didn’t just harp on me to stop using drugs, but they helped me explore the underlying feelings I was still holding on to that made me want to keep using drugs. They also gave me the tools to continue to be clean after I got out, and five years later, I have a life way beyond my wildest dreams. My new life started the day I entered treatment at Journey Pure at the River, and for that, I will forever be grateful.

Fantastic experience: First and foremost, JourneyPure saved my life! All of the staff including the Recovery coaches, therapists, alumni coach, and care coordinators are the perfect mix of professional and friendly. You can tell that they work hard and love what they do. I have learned so much about myself from being there and would absolutely 100% recommend this facility to anyone who is ready to get help. I had a wonderful experience and look at life completely different now. Everyone goes out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and have everything you may need while there. The groups and activities are usually a hands on way of learning tools needed to stay clean and sober. I can not recommend Journey Pure enough! I had an absolute life changing experience there!

Fantastic experience: I am currently employed with JourneyPure, and I can honestly say that I have never enjoyed working for any business more than I enjoy working here. The staff actually cares about you. Working with the patients and seeing how they were from when they first come in to the end of the journey here is truly a life changing experience that I wouldn't trade for the world. You're valued here and each individuals voice is heard and matters. Hands down the best place I've ever worked at!

Fantastic experience: My life was going great, until it wasn’t. Then, it was spiraling rapidly out of control, and I suffered greatly from alcoholism and addiction in general. I was in a very dark place, and began to feel that I was running out of viable options. That’s when I turned to JourneyPure. When looking for a treatment program I relied heavily on these very reviews, which is why I’m writing this today. I couldn’t be happier with my decision to go to JourneyPure at the River in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. When I arrived at JourneyPure, and was checking myself into treatment, I was hell bent on staying no longer than 14 days for detoxification. However, while I was there something changed, and I wound up staying for 47 days, and then even continued my treatment plan by enrolling in an additional 6 month program where I am today, here in Southern California, as was a recommendation of my therapist, Seth. At JourneyPure they truly do care, and they treat you with kindness and compassion that is essential for the healing process. They don’t just look at you as another addict or dollar signs, but rather as a life that is worth saving. They helped me understand the underlying route causes of my addiction, and helped me grow as a person. They ultimately saved my life! If you are in that dark place that I was in, I highly recommended that you give JourneyPure a shot. Perhaps it will change your life the way it has mine.

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience at Journey Pure. I was terrified going in and received nothing but patience, empathy, and support. The facilities are very nice, clean, and well kept. The campus itself is beautiful, surrounded by nature and off the Stones River. They offer a variety of groups including things like adventure/ropes courses, kayaking, fly fishing, equine, yoga, and music. The RCs who stayed in my house were beyond amazing and supportive, they went out their way for us constantly. I was part of the CPE program which provided specific support for professionals.” My treatment plan at Journey Pure was tailored to me and my needs. Any questions or concerns I had were always addressed in a timely manner. Since discharge, I have had follow up from the alumni Coach on a regular basis and am part of a women’s CPE support group via zoom that meets once a week. The support definitely doesn’t stop after you complete your program. I cannot recommend Journey Pure enough, it was truly a life changing experience for me.

Fantastic experience: I rate JourneyPure 11/10 and am so thankful for everything they had to offer…the staff, recovery coaches, nurses, therapists, programs, etc. I went to one treatment center before JP and while they were great too, I felt that JP was way more intensive (in a good way) and hands-on. I like that it’s a dual-diagnosis treatment center. They really focus on mental health along with the substance use part. I learned more about myself than I ever have before. The programs were amazing….my favorite was Equine Therapy. I saw some of the negative reviews (that are few and far between), and I don’t think it’s a “money grab” treatment center at all. Sure, they’re a business but 99% of the money issues people mentioned are based on insurance, honestly. I had excellent insurance and had to pay some money out of pocket, but thankfully JP has good payment options that are realistic. I did not feel as if anyone just didn’t care about me at anytime. If you’re struggling with something, you have to ASK for help. They helped me with taking care of outside business and even finding a place to live. Being able to go to treatment is a privilege, and I’m so thankful I got a second chance with JP. Treatment is hard if you’re truly trying to work on yourself - everything is what you make of it, just like it is in the real world. Sure, there are great people to help but YOU have to be willing to do the work as well. It can be overwhelming at first, and I’m so thankful for all of the staff/peers that would give me advice or even just listen when I was struggling. JourneyPure was fantastic and I’d recommend it 100% to anyone needing help.

Fantastic experience: My experience at JourneyPure made a huge difference for me. I came to them because I realized that I had/have dependency issues and they truly showed a genuine interest in me and my welfare. One of the wonderful things is that they didn’t just address my addiction but helped me get started on the route to understanding some of my core issues. I knew going in that I was on the wrong path and didn’t know how to accept help. They helped me get past the “shame” and work on myself. They do a wonderful job at breaking us into smaller groups and also personal sessions. Most of the staff also are able to speak from personal experience which really helped me relate. I went in late 2019 and to be 100% transparent still relapsed/slipped a couple of times in the month or two after exiting but they gave me the tools to make it stick and have been 20 months sober since. The road to change is not easy by any means and does not stop by getting treatment but it does 100% help in giving you the tools and community/support that is needed to make the best change that you could ever make.

Fantastic experience: Journey Pure at the River is an excellent treatment center. It has comforting medically assisted detox and medical care throughout residential treatment. . They have highly trained staff, therapist, case managers, recovery coaches, and specialist for instruction in various fields such as equine therapy, outdoor adventure, music therapy, art therapy, group and individual therapy, fly fishing and kayaking, among other areas. The case managers and therapists work cooperatively to make sure you receive the best follow up care available once you leave Journey Pure. The Alumni Coach is such a special connection to Journey Pure. After I left treatment the Alumni Coach has continued to follow up with me to make sure I am doing well and to see if I need any help or resources. If a person is in need of treatment, I highly recommend Journey Pure at the River. It is a very special place with a very special staff to help you, when you decide to seek treatment. Don’t delay. Call Journey Pure at the River. I’m so thankful I did.

Fantastic experience: Going to Journey Pure at the River was the best decision I could have made for myself and my family! I was weighted down with guilt and shame from my alcohol addiction and the therapists & staff at JP showed me the way out through hard work, commitment and dedication. I completed their inpatient program mid February 2021 and I am currently in their outpatient program. Both, along with my accountability coach, Meredith, have changed my life for the better!

Fantastic experience: If you or someone you know is struggling with addiction this is hands down the best treatment center to go to! The quiet and serene location is ideal for a person looking for recovery but more importantly I can’t speak more highly of the staff and counselors! They truly care and work with each person on their individual needs. My experience was so much more than I expected. I grew personally, built self esteem and took the first steps I needed in recovery. I can honestly say the staff there became family to me and the friendships I’ve built along the way have been unimaginable. There is hands down no other rehab facility I would recommend more than Journey Pure. You are not alone! And you don’t have to do this alone! Recovery is possible! I owe my life to Journey Pure!
