Fantastic experience: From the moment my Father arrived at encompass health rehabilitation hospital there’s no looking back but always forward the team’s effort to make him go back to what he used to love doing was exceptional. The positive environment added to his speedy recovery not to mention the strategic location and effort in giving them cool and chill surroundings. ST, OT, PT, are great as a TEAM in working for my Father’s quick recovery in gaining his strength. His Nursing Staff also contributed a lot from monitoring vital signs to giving his medications on time, up to how to alleviate his pain may it be thru conventional and thru medicines. Over all ENCOMPASS HEALTH is the Rehab Center to go to if you want speedy recovery and if you want to go back to doing things you love to do in a snap. THANK YOU is an understatement. We are forever great full being here and experienced your exceptional CARE!

Fantastic experience: All the staff is extremely kind and helpful. I went to Encompass after knee replacement surgery and the PTand OT teams made sure I was ready to go home and take care of my self fully.

Fantastic experience: Excellent staff in the therapy area and a nursing staff which is very attentive. A fantastic hospital for any rehab! My only issue ever was that the communication between therapy, nursing, and management and to residents and their families was not always great. I would definitely recommend this hospital to anyone, but stay on top of any areas of concern! Overall very pleased. Their therapist and nursing staff are the very best and very nice, every one of them. The case manager I saw twice and only after I requested to see her.

Fantastic experience: My stay at Encompasses was last May 2023, and I went in, unable to do, much of anything. I loved everyone I met. The nurses, RN's , I was greatly impressed by the fact that, it didn't matter where they worked with Encompasses, they would say hi and introduced them self's. By far the best P T. Department around. With their help, I learned to use a hemi walkerI also learned how to dress myself , and we did the seat entry so good ( I still do it today. ) The stairs one's I've done a few times at church, getting up to pulpit, to bear my testimony. I loved the doctors who lovingly took care of me. Doctor Lena, I'll always remember you sitting and holding my hand, as I cried so many times. And I still ware the shoes you got me. I love them. My Dementia is getting a little worse, I'm doing OK. Doctor Wang, thank you for explaining what a fractured shoulder was. My suger levels are very good. The meds are working well for my neuropathy. My Verdago is a little better. I still don't like to take shots, but I forgive you, it helped). I now walk with just a cane, I have finally ditched the walker. Finally lol I go easily out the front & back door. Non, of these things & so much more would have not been possible, if it weren't for the wonderful care I got at Encompasses. I'm still convinced that, God helped create Encompasses to help his suffering children. Love forever to everyone Vickie Woodruff P/S I self-published my poetry book. Fantastic experience: if you or your loved one has the option of getting their rehab here...GO HERE! This place will exceed any and all expectations! I had the opportunity to go here not once but twice! I suffered 2 strokes, within a couple of months of each other and both times I was transferred to Encompass. My 1st time, I arrived and could not even stand on my own or Walk. The physical therapist worked with me and had me up and walking in 3 days! The entire staff here is so incredible! I have never had nurses and therapists like those at Encompass! I had such exceptional care here. Should I ever need Rehabilitation again, this will be my 1st and only choice!

Fantastic experience: Encompass is the benchmark of rehabilitation, the facility is spotless and the staff is incredibly educated and very knowledgeable in care Calvin and Megan where off the chain, the had patients and their knowledge was spot on, I believe 1 of the senior staff members of physical therapy is Andy his knowledge has completely changed my life and perspective on up coming surgeries of course Vickie she was very stern and diligent and I needed that because I really appreciate someone pushing me. I have to thank all the Doctors very compassionate and there incredible response to care is spot on. I have to also share my experience with nurse Leslie and Calvin on several occasions I would have severe mental health issues I am diagnosed with PTSD and severe depression, both of these amazing professionals spent extra time with me especially when I would get very emotional and cry and confused about my health care and current disabilities, they should be specially recognized for their extraordinary efforts way after there shift time and took their time out of their lives to make sure I was okay and on the right path. I continue to ask Shawny my case manager if I could extend my stay because there was great benefits and support from the whole team. I didn’t know you could appeal my insurance Shawny my case worker guided me through the process and I got xtra time at this premium facility. My professional background I was a sales manager at the most prestigious companies in the world Beverly-Hills Mercedes Benz and customer service is #1 there is no second place and time and time again encompass demonstrated the same service and satisfaction above and beyond there job descriptions in there chosen field. If you’re looking for a professional facility and you don’t have to give it a second thought about leaving your loved ones with strangers I completely understand it’s a big decision and they are very serious about rehabilitation to get you back to your home and life’s this is the facility you and your family will receive the finest care in California that I am aware of.

Fantastic experience: I feel blessed to have gone to Encompass after my hip replacement surgery. My surgeon wanted me to go home, but I pushed to be sent to Encompass. I'm so glad I did! I had read some of the positive reviews and checked out the website beforehand, but I didn't realize I would have my own care team, comprised of physical therapists, occupational therapists, doctor, as well as the many nurses and CNA'S. I had 3 hours of therapy daily and felt totally prepared to go home. They have two amazing gyms, including one with basically a mock house. It has a shag carpet rug, high bed, washer and dryer, oven, sink, and tub. I did my laundry, got into bed, washed dishes, and practiced with the tub transfer bench. They even have a car simulator that can be raised to various heights, so I practiced getting in and out of the car. This is in addition to all the normal stretches, exercises, and of course, walking. They have a charm system, and I earned green charm fairly quickly, which afforded me the opportunity to roam the halls at my leisure. I enjoyed taking my walks, and I met two friends, fellow patients, and would visit in their rooms. The Dr. and PA are very approachable and funny. I was always treated with dignity and respect from housekeeping, dining, nurses, etc. I enjoyed having my private room, and the facility is kept clean. I had a great room with a view of the pond, and opened my blinds first thing in the morning to watch the sunrise. Food was pretty good, and my case manager was involved and helpful. I highly recommend Encompass and know my nine days there set me up for success at home! You're given a shirt and certificate upon discharge. When I'm able to drive, I intend to go back and say hi to staff that will forever hold a special part of my heart!

Fantastic experience: By far the nicest, most caring hospital i’ve ever seen. recently had to be put in a medical coma and when finally released after a little more than 2 months I lost 74 pounds and had to learn how to walk again. The staff here obviously cares at all levels. your safety is always their top priority and it shows in every thing that they do. i was able to go from 100% bed ridden to walking about 300ft with a walker in a very short period of time. The PT and OT staff are extremely good at what they do. the food was excellent and management staff IMO were always there to work with you if any issues arise. Hopefully nobody will ever have to go through what I did but if you find yourself needing an inpatient Physical Therapy. Save yourself the trouble of looking because I am confident there is no other out there that is any better than this place especially in the the local area. Stay healthy and good luck! 3 months later….. I have now made almost 100% recovery and only place this accomplishment on the foundation EHC provided me. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could. Believe it or not my mother had a stroke the same time i was going through recovery. She was at Encompass the same time I was. We were both learning how to walk again and like me her treatment was top notch. there was a high level of relief knowing my mother was there being cared for the same way I was. When people say most people don’t want to leave when their time is up is a fact. After spending months in a local hospital and waiting up to an hour for a response from a nurse after hitting the call button Encompass was a shocking upgrade in care and service. when you hit the call button there it doesn’t matter if your a nurse a dr. or even a maintenance tech. they are required to stop and check on you if the call light is illuminated. I had a maintenance tech stop multiple times just to make sure I was ok as he was walking by. Just amazing for that to be the Encompass policy. It shows their level of care is so far and above anything else you may experience at other hospitals. I would like to thank them again for everything. I hope anyone reading this will find some peace of mind knowing themself, family or friend will be taken care of at Encompass by the very best there is.

Fantastic experience: My father has been here two weeks. They have cared for him amazingly. His room is always spotless. His view is refreshing. It is quiet at night and he is able to sleep well and by day it is full of scheduled physical therapy and occupational therapy both private and group. The nursing staff has been kind and willing to go out of their way to accommodate his needs. The case manager, Shannon, has been excellent to communicate with and in a timely manner. We are grateful for their care.

Fantastic experience: I spent time here after a car accident the staff from my case manager, to nursing both day and night staff, the PT and OT therapy even the cleaning crew were wonderful my pain was well managed the first day your there is a long one as they are evaluating you for what care you need and what they need to do to help you along the charm system I really like I had my own personal goals I looked forward to earning my next charm the food was also quite good.

Positive experience: As a person directly connected to a loved one at this facility, according to our experience Shelby should NOT be caring for patients. She either isn't willing or may be ill-equipped for the job. However, when people are sick, elderly, and dependant on others to feel secure and safe, an attitude such as Shelby's is NOT something a patient deserves to deal with. I thought it appropriate to post, since this is about a human person's well being not an inanimate object. Places such as these ought to train its staff to pretend it is YOUR mom, dad, sister, aunt, grandma, etc. Family near and fair ought not have concerns of neglect, mistreatment. Nor should the resident fear speaking out for fear of retaliation.

Fantastic experience: My 34 year old brother recently suffered from 3 horrible strokes. He was just released today from Encompass after 73 days in the hospital/rehab. He spent the last three+ weeks at Encompass and received amazing care. My brother has already recovered 85% of his right side paralysis he had when he first entered the hospital. The PT/OT/speech therapist all helped my brother get to a point that doctors told us would not happen for a very long time (if at all). The staff there have great customer service and compassion - both for the patients and family. Encompass will forever be in our hearts as a huge influence on my bothers recovery. This facility is also very clean!

Fantastic experience: I was in this place Nov. 3, 2021 11:00pm That time I couldn’t move myself. I only can move my eyes and my fingers. I had two big surgeries Oct. 26 and Oct. 28, 2021. I am stage 4 cancer patient. Tumor growing up between my L1 & L2 it broken my L2 born. Last year Feb, 2020. I walked with walker almost 2years. And bracelet make me more pain so one day I stop by Orthopedic Dr. and My Dr. found out I only have little left of nerve. Almost my lost both legs. And My Orthopedic Dr. said. I have choice to surgery. But it’s not guarantee. If I could buy even a 1% chance I have to chose surgery. I was not easy. Because they said I might be table dead. Because I had radiation. So might be blood won’t stop. Yes, My blood pressure was 74 and my blood covers my bed I almost dead. But my mom saved my life. So , I move to rehab which is Encompass Health, Murrieta, CA. Nov. 3,2021 11:00pm. And I started PT & OT Nov. 4, 2021 8:00am to 3:00pm OMG . I thought this is army place. Even My blood pressure is going down to 86, I had to put oxygen breathing system and rest 20 minutes. My blood pressure and everything was normal I had to start PT again. It was the first day, and I really did an incredible workout. But after my body was different. I can feel and something different. So, next day I followed what ever PT & OT said because It’s for me Not them. Everyday something is different. I can move side to side, I can get up from my bed, I can wear socks & I can wear my pants. And I can walk with walker……. I didn’t stop even Sunday ( No PT & OT days) I stretch on the bed and practice walk in my room so My body can remember. Finally, I walked without walker only 13days. I couldn’t believe even I walked. . This Encompass Health Rehab is Amazing place. 13days!!!!! They help me to walk without walker or cane. It’s Miracle! . I m so happy myself and Thankful everyone in this rehab. Dr.’s And Case Manager and Nurse and even Clean people’s. Specially PT and OT ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Thank You so much. You guys have miracle hand and very sweet heart. Won’t forget you guys. Thank You!

Fantastic experience: My wife entered Encompass on June 29 / 2022 for a 2wk stay. She broke her hip and had surg a few days prior. Although a rehab facility in my opinion is a must, due to 2 past experiences I was somewhat apprehensive. When she arrived I had to chk in with the guard for the usual COVID stuff. He saw that I was obviously concerned having never been in the center before. He said, "you may not believe this but when peoples' 2wk stay is over they don't want to leave". I laughed and said "well, the jury is out on that one". I had elected to stay with my wife for the full 2wks sleeping in a recliner. I didn't trust anyone even though they had very good reviews. During the next 2wks I saw positive care to the likes that I could not believe. When my wife would push the button for help either the RN or CNA on duty would be in her room within a minute and a half and give her such concerned care the I was pleasantly amazed. When they would come by for their routine bp chk or pill giving they ALWAYS took extra time to chk her over, making sure she wasn't wet or uncomfortable in any way.The attention, response time and care that she got was off the charts. The only reason that I didn't rate Encompass a 10 was because the starts only went to 5.

Fantastic experience: 5 stars across the board it doesn't get any better than this. I can't single anyone out because every employee in Encompass was polite and the professionalism was above and beyond , from Nurses, Therapist, case management to food service and nurse assistants, never was there nothing but good attitude and help within minutes if that, how they filled a rehabilitation hospital with this many professionals is behond me. Its 2 years old it has top of the line equipment, the beds are unbelievable, even the wheelchairs have air cushions and you never get sore from being in bed or in a wheelchair nomatter how long your in it, thats a big deal. Most rehabs i heard you cant wait to leave, this one you won't want to. I've had experiences with my dad in the pass at other rehabs and they should be shut down . This is how Care should be. Dont even blink go here if you can. I have 7 fractures in my arm and pelvic i was out in 10 days. Everything from equipment to my transportation and my next doctors appointment was takin care of by my case manager sean'e. I thank everyone that works there and they have my love.

Positive experience: My husband is a COVID survivor, after being in ICU for 3 months he was sent to Encompass for Rehabilitation, the facility is beautiful the nursing staff for the most part was good, except for a couple incidents that upset my husband. PT/OT did a great job, the reason I am not giving 5 stars is due to case management, it was very hard to get call backs from our case manager, or anyone in that department. It has been 2 weeks since his discharge and we have yet to receive our home care that was set up, nor a call back from the case manager. Communication needs to be better in this facility.

Fantastic experience: My husband had a stroke the therapist, nurses, CNA’s, right down to the receptionist and security guards are so helpful, professional and most importantly of all patient and empathetic. They know what the patients needs are and are very good at what they do.

Negative experience: I can't even give this place a one star but have to in order for my post to be seen. I am a physician and I can not believe how they treat incoming patients. My sister was approved by her insurance to be sent there directly from the hospital based on her neurologist's recommendation, but the director, Dr. Nicole Hanrahan, didn't feel that she was appropriate for their facility because she couldn't meet their guidelines of specific hours that she needed to do. Ok, I can understand that. Even though Dr. Hanrahan never physically went to see and evaluate my sister at the hospital that was just down the street from her facility. Didn't send one of her therapists to examine her and do their own evaluation. But ok, we accepted it and brought her home. And for the last 6 months, my sister has diligently done home PT and OT 4 days a week, plus therapy with her caregivers 7 days a week. She has improved significantly, but now is at the point that home PT and OT have exhausted what can be done from the house. She had a follow up with her neurologist over a month ago and he saw the improvement and wanted her to be transferred, once again, to Encompass. We immediately sent over her progress notes from her therapists. And heard nothing. I called my liaison, Kelly, a couple times, but was unable to leave a message. And finally today, since we hadn't heard anything, and since the number I had for Kelly no longer worked, I decided to call the facility. I got in touch with the admissions department who told me that the liaison, Kelly, that I was working with, was no longer at the facility, and hasn't been for over a month. And instead of going thru the files of patients that she had in queue, they just let the ball drop on notifying any of the patients that she was taking care of. The admissions rep, Angela, told me today that again, the director, Dr. Nicole Hanrahan, who again has never seen my sister, or evaluated her in person, has stated that my sister has not progressed beyond baseline. And refused to allow her to be admitted to their facility. Tell me Dr. Hanrahan, how would you know? How could you possibly even know how a patient has progressed, or not progressed, according to you, if you haven't physically evaluated the patient? How can you say a person hasn't progressed beyond her baseline if you never even met or personally examined the patient at her baseline? If you haven't had one of your therapists personally examine or evaluate her? Or actually speak to her current therapists that have worked with her for 6 months? I never ever write reviews. This is actually a first for me. But in this case, I feel obligated, as a physician, and an advocate for patient care, to not recommend this place. They obviously only care about one thing and it isn't patient care.

Fantastic experience: As a Certified Family & Peer Support Specialist, by NAMI, it was by happenstance we learned of a new facility opening in Murrieta, CA. We decided to do our own vetting, and after learning of the capabilities and new medical advances that Encompass Health offered, we were thrilled! Reason being, it started out helping a couple who were both victims of theft and elder abuse. As time went on, we realized Myrna, a stroke victim, who needed help that was not readily available close by, we now felt we had an answer to our prayers. After touring Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital on February 11, 2020, the following day, was the first day of accepting patients after long awaiting this state-of-the art Rehabilitation Hospital, in-patient facility. It was my privilege and honor to assist Myrna to be the very first new patient in this facility. I visited Myrna in her private room, and as we spoke, it brought tears of joy to both of us, giving Myrna, her husband, and me, a sense of hope in such a clean, friendly, and professional environment - very impressive! Her husband was allowed to spend the night when he wanted, which made him very happy; he's a disabled Vietnam Veteran. They're now healing together in this amazing environment. I want to thank All of the Hospital Staff from Dr's, RN's, Physical Therapists, and others, including the Top Chef nutritional expert (Edward.) In closing, the County of Riverside health system is one of the best - this is an example of the public and private sector joining together to serve the community in an innovative and collaborative manner. Fantastic experience: I absolutely don’t know where to begin, this place is beyond spectacular. First of all the staff is absolutely wonderful, Let’s start with Mary In Intake-I was greeted today with a beautiful arrangement of flowers for my birthday on my first visit there today, And also there was a beautiful flower arrangement for my loved one who was admitted yesterday. and then there’s Angela who works in admissions, She took all my calls with a smile along with Mary and answered all of my questions it made me feel at ease through the whole entire admitting process. And then there’s Crystal at the front desk of the main interests just exceptional at what she does I highly recommend this hospital for yourself and your loved ones.!! If I could rate this hospital a 10 Star I would Thank you all so very much, I left after my visit with tears of absolute joy‼️
