Fantastic experience: The Athletico in Naperville is an amazing group of therapists. They have the unique ability to make physical therapy enjoyable and I looked forward to every session I had. Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Mike P. and the team at Athletico on Ogden!. The initial evaluation was very thorough and Mike determined that there was an IT band issue that was affecting a tendon in my knee. I was training for a long distance hike and only had 7 weeks before I needed to leave for the trip. Mike went above and beyond to get me ready for the hike; 2x weekly visits, an at home exercise plan, follow up though email and even pre-cut KT tape for me to bring with for the hike. Mike and the entire team have created a professional and fun office. I highly recommend them!

They are professionals who know what they're doing and also very fun to be around. They are a collaborative team and truly do their best to work around your schedule. Fantastic experience: I’m not sure where to begin. It is clear that the team works together so that any client that comes in has a favorable outcome. While they have a relaxed atmosphere, the work done is very serious and professional. These are very skilled therapists! I mainly worked with Carson Lux who I believe was instrumental in bringing me to the highest level of healing possible after my knee replacement surgery. I highly recommend Athletico at 115 E. Fantastic experience: Saw Michael for chest and shoulder pain and was very happy with how quick my condition improved. Using a variety of stretches and soft tissue work I was taught how to deal with my injury on my own and recover properly.

Fantastic experience: I came to Athletico without a prescription for some ongoing knee pain. Sean D did my initial consult and was SUPER thorough, spent over an hour with me trying to discern what might be going on with my knees. He gave me very clear instructions on a daily program with stretching, mobility exercises, and warm-ups to start implementing. At my next visit, my care was switched to Mike H who was SO amazing. He was energetic and personal, and I could tell that he really cared about my progress and getting to the bottom of the pain. He responded promptly to email questions that I had between appointments. Mike was so personable and he remembered small details about my life which he asked me about - that meant a lot! Knee pain can be a bit of a bear, and so it may never be completely solved, but my pain improved slowly over a couple months and I feel confident with the quality of my care and the next steps to take if I flare up again. It really felt like a healthcare TEAM that I was a part of. Highly recommend this Athletico and especially Mike and Sean! :)

Fantastic experience: these guys are so gifted it's crazy. They've been taking care of me since I had a disrupture in the 2000s we're going on 2025 several accidents injuries Worker's Comp. they literally put me back together. I've tried other places. They don't even come close. My two favorite therapist is Michael Platt and Bridget. I originally started with Annie. She's a legend, but she taught these guys. They're just like her phenomenal. I promise you guys when you go to these people they literally put it back together. Get your life back to me. That's priceless.

It is a great place for any age, and great for athletes, Dr. Plant and all the therapists are so kind and supportive, they are easy to create a friendship with. Fantastic experience: My son (a basebll player) had a great experience resolving shoulder tendinitis with Mike Headtke. We really appreciated the time and specificity Mike provided in Peter's video throwing analysis and where improvements could be made to prevent future injuries.

Fantastic experience: It seems like there is a rehab site around every corner, but not every rehab place is the same just like not every patient is the same. Appointment scheduling is easy with availability early and late. The staff is friendly, compassionate, and knowledgeable in many areas including ortho and neuro. The synergy and integrity of the staff makes it worth the extra drive. I was so happy with my ACL rehab with Nora that I brought my elderly Mom for balance assistance with Sarah. At this time, she hasn’t fallen again and everyone at the bridal shower commented on how good she looked since she was “standing tall”….all 4’8” of her. Fantastic experience: I suffered a mountain biking accident that resulted in a neck fracture, specifically the C1 vertebra which is the one that connects directly to the Head. I underwent a C1 - C3 vertebrae fusion surgery in August of 2022. From the moment that I walked in at the end of October I felt that I came to the right place. I was evaluated, and a therapy plan was put together following the directions of my physician.The physical therapists and the physical therapist assistants are AWESOME !!! They really listen and they adjust your routine according to how you progress, and even to how you feel before you start each session. Mike, Katie, Carson, and Corinne too at reception, all are part of a top-notch physical therapy team that will get you fully recovered if possible, or as it was in my case, to reach functional recovery, so one can live the semblance of a normal independent life. My eternal gratitude to the team especially Mike, who was the main therapist that guided me to recovery all they way from October 2022 through January of 2023 !!!

Fantastic experience: This place was fantastic! We had such a positive experience with Mike and his team. Our 11-year old son got a severe concussion at school recess and we were sent to Athletico for 8 weeks. From the moment we arrived, Mike and his team treated Anthony with the utmost care. They made each session fun, listened to his and my concerns, and developed a fluid plan to treat his symptoms. My son loved coming to Athletico and talking football with Mike. What 11-year old wants to go to PT?! He was even sad to leave on his last day of treatment. Can't say enough about the incredible work these guys do... Thank you Athletico!!

Fantastic experience: I am a little late to this review as I completed my physical therapy a few months ago. I had most of my services with Katie. In addition, a few sessions with Michael and Carson. They were all equally effective in the treatment of my shoulder. I’ve never had an issue at this location or with any of the staff. The regime was effective in helping with my shoulder pain. You can’t go wrong with any of the trainers at this location! They are fun to talk to and somehow makes recovering from an injury fun and engaging. I highly recommend this location for your services. Fantastic experience: I have been going to this location for the last month as self-pay for return to run progression in their AlterG and have had a WONDERFUL experience with the team. Katie performed my original assessment and Mike has been guiding me safely yet effectively through the running progressions. They always check in with me before and after the session and have included me in decisions about my care. The entire team makes me feel welcomed each time I am there, and the overall atmosphere is great. Thank you all so much for your help!

Fantastic experience: I dislocated BOTH of my shoulders back in June. Started going to Athletico and seeing Mike twice a week for the first month, and then down to once a week for a month or two. My shoulders felt much better even after the first few visits. They’re very knowledgeable and make you feel comfortable while you’re there. Thanks!

Fantastic experience: This North Naperville Athletico and Nick Testin DPT has helped me immensely for over 5 years with post-surgical rehabs. First after a knee meniscus scope and then following an emergency appendectomy, Nick and his team helped me get safely running and working out again quicker than I expected.

Fantastic experience: Nick Testin helped tremendously with a shoulder injury and concussion a couple years back, and again with a back injury recently. They provide the best environment for PT in Naperville, in my opinion.

Fantastic experience: Competitive gymnastics comes with a lot of injuries. I have seen this whole team for many years but more recently the past two years consecutively. The people working here are so kind and knowledgable when it came to my different injuries. I don't know how but, as a team they got me back to 100% and doing the sport I love. These people are nothing short of magic workers!

Fantastic experience: My son had shoulder pain (issues with rotator cuff and shoulder blade) when practice for the upcoming 2022 baseball began. Mike and Nick were terrific. The strengthening and stretching exercises my son learned and did not only removed the pain, but strengthened my son’s shoulder are and he is happily pitching again free of pain. Fantastic experience: I had rotator cuff surgery 10/14/21- my rehab began with Nick Testin & continued for 6 months ending 4/15/22 Nick is an empathetic, encouraging PT who is extremely knowledgeable about my surgical procedure and the appropriate progression of challenging exercises to achieve full function in my shoulder. Prior to the surgery, I was very active- participating in spin & strength training classes each 45 minutes twice weekly, in addition to swimming 45 minutes 3 times weekly & kayaking in summer & snow skiiing in winter. I’m happy to report that 9 months post surgery I am to do everything above & look forward to hitting the slopes this winter since I had to forego last season (but I snow shoed instead) Nick was a tremendous contributor to my success, in addition to having an excellent surgeon. Following Nick’s guidance, coupled with PT in clinic & doing the home exercises helped achieve a full recovery! I would be remiss if I didn’t give a shout out to Mike for his assistance. The entire staff at this location are warm, welcoming & encouraging as well. I highly recommend Athletic

Fantastic experience: My experience at Athletico was amazing! All of the staff were friendly, professional, knowledgeable and nice. My pain was greatly decreased from attending weekly sessions, and I was given the tools to continue to manage and recover from my injuries.

Fantastic experience: I went in for multiple issues and I wasnt able to complete physical activity without pain. The evaluation was very thorough and informative. After that, Katie was able to figure out a regimen that worked great for me and helped me build back up to my normal activity. The environment was very positive and my experience overall at the clinic was great!

Fantastic experience: I went to this Athletico for 4 hip surgeries and various other injuries across 234 appointments, and I cannot speak more highly of the staff; Especially, Carson Lux, who is the main reason why I would drive over an hour to see that specific location. Incredible care from people who truly care about their patients’ holistic health.

Fantastic experience: I've visited this Athletico location for two separate rounds of PT: one for my hip, and one for my shoulder. My treatment was very effective in both cases, with a "return to normal" going faster than expected. The staff members are friendly and knowledgeable, and they have provided me with skills/information on how to prevent further injury which I still employ to this day.

Fantastic experience: I did physical therapy off and on for a year graduating in February. It's an easy going environment and the staff treat and care about you as if you were family!!!! Mike and Nick are two of the finest PT I've had the pleasure of dealing with!! They are very knowledgeable, competent, compassionate, caring and professional!!! Fantastic experience: This was my first time doing physical therapy and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Katie was an amazing physical therapist. She was very knowledgeable, caring and fun to work with. I enjoyed going to every session and made progress every time. Fantastic experience: We could not have been more impressed with Katie. Her knowledge, demeanor and encouragement were all instrumental in helping with my daughters knee injury. She immediately made her feel comfortable and made her really want to work. I was so thankful to Katie’s dedication to my daughters care. She made scheduling appointments so easy! And she never once made us feel rushed! I had heard wonderful things about her prior to our first visit and my expectations were blown out of the water when we met her! Fantastic experience: I started therapy at Athletico on Ogden when I did not have improvement after 7 months at another clinic. Immediately, Katie and Carson determined that my stiff knee cap was a huge reason I had plateaued. Within a month, I improved more than I had since the day my injury occurred. The treatment plan I received at Athletico allowed me to play my final year of college soccer pain-free. I can now play soccer, hike, lift, and more pain-free (all which seemed impossible before my first appointment). Katie, Carson, Mike, Nick, Bridget, and the entire Athletico Ogden staff are simply the best. From creating AND participating in soccer-specific therapy drills to injury-specific exercises and stretching (because who would've known you can stretch your knee cap!) to the much-appreciated appointment flexibility, this clinic will provide you whatever you need for YOU to get better. Fantastic experience: I hesitate in sharing my rating, because I would like to keep this amazing group of professionals all to myself! But good reviews mean good business, and I hope they will be around for a long time! There is something to be said about integrity when you are evaluated as a patient in desperate need of surgery, yet your PT holds off on providing medically unnecessary therapy ahead of the surgery date to save valuable sessions for post-op treatment when it is needed most and will provide the optimal value for your long-term recovery. Step into the care of Carson Lux, PT: Integrity. Professionalism. Patient-centered approach. I had a major hip reconstruction, due to a torn labrum and FAI (“shredded” per a Doc’s words..) and the surgery was conducted out of state by one of the world’s best. In fact, the best surgeons in IL did not really want to touch it. (I was referred to Athletico and Carson specifically by a Physician’s Assistant at Midwest Orthopaedics at RUSH – which says a lot in and of itself). From the moment I arrived at Athletico, my experience has been beyond expectation. While Carson is my primary PT with infinite skill and knowledge (empathetically treating you as both a patient and as a person), I have also been treated by Mike and Katie who are also amazing. Bridget runs the front office like no other. And the trust and comradery here is a rarity. They collaborate with my PT Coordinator in Vail, CO at Howard Head Sports Medicine (US Olympic National Medical Center), provide updates and we follow the PT program they laid out as well as augmenting based on my weekly needs. (yes, Athletico is that flexible!) I have never had a bad day with these amazing people, my spirit is always lifted, and I will truly miss them when I am healed and must move on! Don’t look anywhere else! You must give this talented team a try.

Fantastic experience: I am 66 years old and 15 years ago I tore my rotator cuff. I finally had surgery in September. I came to Athletico 5 days after surgery. I was very nervous because I had physical therapy for my shoulder when the rotator cuff tore and I left there in more pain than when I walked in. I put off surgery a long time. Everyone at Athletico, from the greeting I received when I walked in, from the office coordinator, the PT assistants, and the therapists were very friendly. Bridget, the office coordinator is very personable, keeps great records of appointments, rescheduling, payments and never makes it seem like you are bothering her. Taylor, an assistant is extremely helpful whenever I need any equipment for my therapy. My therapist, Carson, thoroughly explained the protocol and what to expect during therapy on my first visit. I have been here for four months and feel I have done very well with all my therapy. My shoulder is feeling great! Carson takes the time to explain how to do the exercises and also tells me why I’m doing the exercise. He has tons of patience, smiles, a great sense of humor, is very intelligent and really knows what he’s doing. He makes me very comfortable and not afraid to keep pushing myself. He is an amazing physical therapist. There are four therapists, Carson, Mike, Katie and Nick. They are all great! If Carson is out for any reason, I would not hesitate to see any of the other three.

Fantastic experience: My teenage son had the unfortunate experience of needing two different surgeries over the course of 18 months. One on his elbow and the other on his knee. As a result he was in PT for an extended amount of time. Mike Headtke and Nick Testin were outstanding. They as well as the rest of the staff took great care of my son and were instrumental in keeping his spirits high despite him being out of baseball for so long. I am very grateful for Mike, Nick and the Athletico staff and highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: My experience here at Athletico has been outstanding after my recent knee surgery. The physical therapists showed a genuine concern and listened attentively to what I had to say. They always seemed to hone in on the nuances of what I was attempting to describe and would respond with a “let’s try this”. Lo and behold “this” would relieve the pain or tightness that I was experiencing. They all work really well as a team, not skipping a beat when one or the other is not available. Both Katie and Michael were very personable and a joy to work with. I would highly recommend this facility as well as fully endorse Katie and Michael for whatever issues may be bothersome. Thanks to them I have full functionality back!

Fantastic experience: I had some serious thoracic back (upper back) spasm along with neck and shoulder pain. After taking 5 days of prescribed steroids that reduced my pain, I started sessions of physical therapy at Athletico -Naperville, Ogden Ave. I had a dozen therapy sessions. My therapist Michael did an outstanding job of not only eliminating my pain, but also teaching me a bunch of exercises that I now do at home. I am very grateful to the terrific professionalism and for the results obtained. Next time I have spasms, I know where to go. Obviously, I recommend Athletico, Naperville-Ogden without a second thought.

Fantastic experience: They are super friendly and welcoming! Very light and fun environment. I always looked forward to going, and they got me back to playing rugby! They were always encouraging, especially when I was having a bad day or feeling a little extra sore.

Fantastic experience: I had a major rotator cuff repair done followed up by 5 weeks in a sling. I began my rehab journey in March. The staff at Athletico recognized the difficulties I was having, and tailored an appropriate course of therapist assisted stretching, a personalized pre-stretch workout, and home exercises. It took me a long time due to some complications on my end (“frozen shoulder”, major tear, etc.) but they were able to get me into a work conditioning program where I continue to get stronger every day. There were days after surgery when I thought I would have to give up a lot of recreational activities that I enjoy - but they continued to push me to a point where I am back to riding a bicycle, working out, and enjoying life again. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough and I will be forever grateful. Special thanks to Mike & Katie for not giving up on me!

Fantastic experience: I have had PT throughout my entire life and can confidently say this clinic was by far one of the best experiences I have had! I highly recommend DPT Katie Hillen. Katie worked with me for 8 months after my extensive hip osteotomy and arthroscopy surgery. She was very knowledgable to provide care and continually adapt all my exercises to my abilities as they were constantly changing. Katie really helped me manage my pain as I was recovering which significantly improved my overall physical and mental state. All of my questions I had regarding my recovery and at home therapy were answered excellently. Appointment availability was always great and all billing and insurance was handled perfectly! Katie and the rest of the staff are well-rounded professionals committed to helping their patients. They are super friendly and made therapy enjoyable, I looked forward to going each week. Fantastic experience: My first impression of Athletico in Naperville was quite positive. Brigette, the administrator, made the paperwork sign-up quick and easy. Nick, the PT therapist is thoroughly knowledgeable, experienced and sensitive to the requirements and needs of the patient. The facility is well equipped and comfortable. I’m an older guy whose marathon running, triathloning, biking and skiing has led to three (!) previous injuries requiring surgery and therapy. So far, this is one of my most competent experiences.

Fantastic experience: Everyone at Athletico in East Ogden Ave location are awesome. Especially Carson Lux!! I ruptured both my quadriceps tendons in a fall and had to have the both replaced at the same time. There was an issue after surgery with one of the tendons and my range of motion in the leg was minimal. Carson was amazing using massage, cupping and needling as well as exercises prescribed. I was able to get 35 degrees more in range of motion. I was told I would not be able to play golf again (one of my passions) but with Carsons help I am back on the course. Needless to say I am more than grateful. The entire staff from Katie, Mike, Bridgett, and Natalia helped me greatly through this very difficult time. I owe them all my gratitude. Thanks Guys!!

Fantastic experience: I was there for about 3-4 weeks dealing with a hip flexer strain. I worked with Mike for the majority of the time and everybody there was awesome! Great environment and Mike’s the goat .

Fantastic experience: Got recommended to see Carson Lux for Phys Therapy on a severely jacked up shoulder. I heard the tears when they happened and couldn’t move the arm much at all prior to surgery. With Carson’s attention to detail, watching every wince, hearing every stutter, and feeling every muscle twinge... His guidance led me to being released in record time! At least 8 different repairs were done in that surgery, instead of just rotator cuff, and Carson dug his rebar fingertips into the right places, within my tolerance, to loosen the joint back to functional! I got the opportunity to also observer the staff while there. Always professional and attentive. Disciplined in their approach to ensuring exercises are being done correctly. Overall a VERY productive environment for the work of healing the infirm. Couldn’t have gotten better this quickly without Carson and the Staff at Athletico Naperville-Ogden!! Thank you!!

Fantastic experience: I was a patient at this facility for 3 months and do not think I can speak highly enough of the entire staff at this facility. I was always greeted to a cheery environment, and scheduling was flexible and painless. I was primarily under the care of Nick who went above and beyond helping me get back to my physical activity level after a traumatic injury. I also had the chance to work with all the other therapists at some point throughout my time there. Because of this I can assure that no matter who you work with you will be receiving top care from a passionate and knowledgeable individual. You will also not find a more kind, welcoming, and helpful assistant than Jen. I was thoroughly satisfied with my treatment here and seriously cannot recommend this group enough. I am extremely grateful, and thank you all again.

Fantastic experience: After being at a handful of physical therapy facilities, I can honestly say that this was by far the best experience I have had. Carson and Mike were amazing as well as the rest of the staff. They are very knowledgeable and build trust right away. Carson and Mike will listen to your needs and make recommendations how to get you back to being 100%. I also appreciate the atmosphere that Mike and Carson and the team have created. I felt always welcome there and that everyone cared about my recovery. I actually used to look forward going there because of how I was treated. It's farther than a few other places near me, but it is definitely worth the drive. I give it 10 stars!

Fantastic experience: Dr Lux is probably the best PT doctor in the west suburb. He helped my daughter(who's an athlete) a couple of times in the past. The experience has always been great. Two weeks ago I had some bad back pain and went to see Dr Lux myself. After examination he told me not to worry, I don't need physical therapy, just relax, resume my daily exercises and it should go away. Most PT wants you to go back even if it's not necessary, so they can make more business. But not Dr Lux. After just a few days I did feel much better, in two weeks the pain is completely gone.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Athletico to rehab a badly sprained ankle and all around messed up foot. Carson and his team were great. The initial exam and assessment is very thorough and the path to rehab was well defined. After a couple of sessions I was already feeling better with more mobility and less pain. The things I learned from Carson, I will continue to implement myself to make sure I keep the progress up. Would definitely recommend this group.
