OMTA Physical Therapy/ Kaarthick Mani, DPT, MS

Fantastic experience: I have suffered from sciatica since my son as born and he's twenty now! It comes and goes and there's times when it does not flare up and things are just fine. Recently I was faced with the worst sciatic pain I have faced since its inception - the pain was so terrible that I could not sleep for days. I went to see Dr. Mani to find relief and truthfully I did not think he could help me as no other PT place had been able to help. Dr. Mani was wonderful- he's attentive and really wants to get to the source of the issue. He treated me and asked me to give him two weeks to feel better and I felt better in a week! I would recommend Dr. Mani to everyone who needs PT or is in pain and needs to find the source and fix the issue once and for all.

Fantastic experience: My family and I have been using Kaarthick for over 10 years, and we are so grateful for his remarkable ability to quickly and accurately diagnose a problem, patiently explain how it affects all the other moving parts, and provide a treatment plan that brings relief and healing. After a very serious injury 4 years ago, doctors recommended PT. After a few visits Kaarthick recognized that the issue was much more serious and referred me for a second opinion. I had surgery in less than a week and would not been hiking and moving like I am without his intervention. I highly recommend Kaarthick and OMTA.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Mani is at the height of his profession with education and training. He has helped me with several injuries over the last 4 years. He does a fantastic job, I always felt I was in the best of hands. When you meet with him you are 1 on 1 and not hurried off to an assistant. He knows what is required for treatment after surgeries. Fantastic experience: I been a loyal customer of omta physical therapy since 2009, they always have a excelente customer service, Dr Mani the owner personally works with his clientes, he is externally knowledgeable at addressing his customers needs instead of having a physical therapy asistente working with clientes like in other big places, also you do no need to wait months to get an appointment. For this and many other reasons I give this place 5+.

He is an excellent therapist with “magic hands” and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for some first grade physical therapy. Fantastic experience: I have been going to Dr. Kaarthick on and off for over 3 years now for various injuries from a stress fracture in my foot to issues with my shins. Each time he has taken great care to diagnose, explain the injury, and help me get back to running shape in record time. One thing that sets him apart from other physical therapists is when he makes an appointment with you your appointment is your time. His treatment is individualized and his full attention is on you while you are there for the entirety of each visit. He is kind hearted, personable, and truly cares for his patients Dr. Kaarthick is the only PT I trust to help treat my injuries.

Fantastic experience: I have been seen Kaarthick Mani for a variety of issues. He is very knowledgeable and thorough. His office is clean and comfortable and his staff is always helpful. The manual physical therapy which Dr. Mani provides is unbelievable effective. Recently, I had sudden-onset back pain. I called Dr. Mani on Saturday morning and he told me to come in right away. I was barely able to walk when I arrived; an hour later I walked out of his office without pain. Scheduling was super flexible and therapy was expertly tailored to my needs. Hopefully I won't need physical therapy again any time soon --- but if I do it will be with Dr. Mani.

Fantastic experience: Dr Mani is an incredible physical therapy physician! He is extremely knowledgeable and attentive to your concerns and condition. He does a lot of manual therapy vs other therapists who sometimes just assign an exercise plan and leave you to get better on your own. I'm forever grateful to Dr. Mani as I'm positive it is his care that has kept me from the back surgery I thought I was headed for a few years ago. I have had surgical spine surgery and suffered tetraplegia. Dr. Mani gets right to the root of the problem areas and has greatly improved the quality of my life. Fantastic experience: Kaarthick Mani has been taking care of my physical therapy needs since 2018. In that time he has helped me with issues in my back, neck, legs, ankle, hands, shoulder and overall posture. Kaarthick has two great strengths: First, he is an extremely skilled diagnostician. His approach is systematic, deliberate and comprehensive. He will not prescribe a therapy until he can pinpoint the exact problem. He follows the medical formula of Subjective, Objective, Assessment, Plan, Intervention and Evaluation. (SOAPIE.) First he listens to the patient's description of the issue and asks probing questions. Then he asks the patient to use the affected areas to determine the approximate location of the issue. He may apply pressure or massage to find the exact area. If X-rays are available from a referring physician, he examines them. It may take more than one appointment to determine exactly where the issue is, but it is worth it! My latest problem -- severe ankle pain -- had been examined by two ankle and orthopedic surgeons over multiple visits. They focused on the bones, arthritis, deterioration, etc. They gave some mention to connecting tissues, but because that is not their specialty they did not emphasize it. One offered surgery. I asked for a PT referral and I went to Kaarthick. It took two solid examinations before his diagnosis. He determined that the problem was all in stretched ligaments (fortunately, not torn.) To come to this he looked at my whole body and leg structure, how I walked, etc. Because of this his therapeutic prescription was a few sessions of massage to tone down the irritated area, practice in several strengthening exercises, and urging that I wear my orthotics religiously to prevent further damage. Ever since: No pain. HE TAUGHT ME HOW TO MANAGE THE PROBLEM SO IT DOESN'T GET WORSE. That is Kaarthick's goal: Giving patients the tools to eliminate pain and discomfort and the strategies to strengthen supporting muscles to prevent further damage. Kaarthick can be brutally honest about what will happen if I do not follow my exercise regimen. I like that and need that! He can look into my body's future 5, 10, 20 years ahead and gives me alternatives on how to maintain the mobility and strength I have as well as the consequences of ignoring it. The printed exercise instructions he gives are excellent. I have been using some of them now for five years, and have a collection for the many parts of my body that want to give out earlier than I'd like. If you let Kaarthick examine you carefully, take his assessment seriously, and then do what he prescribes, you can enhance and extend your vitality longer than you may have hoped. I cannot recommend him highly enough for all your physical therapy needs.

Fantastic experience: Excellent Physical Therapy Physician!!! I came there, in intense physical pain (radiating up my leg), unable to sleep or walk. In less than 6 weeks of therapy, there is little to no discomfort and I no longer need the therapy. I highly recommend Dr. K Mani at Orthopedic Manual Therapy Associates.

Fantastic experience: I suddenly got vertigo which was terrible & not going away. It was incredible how with special exercises, head/neck massage as well as ultrasound treatments was controlled. Although there’s no cure it’s great to know that OMT can give relief with treatments so I can live my life.

First, Dr. Mani resolved a bulging disc that I had, and now with the therapy I got and the exercises I learned, I can push out my hip replacement surgery for a few years, at least. Fantastic experience: 100% see only Dr. Mani for spine physical therapy! After 2 cervical spine surgeries (C2-C7 fusion) I was told not to go to PT and risk further damage. In chronic pain the docs recommended ONLY seeing Dr. Mani @ OMTA. He is a lifesaver! I have less pain, I can sleep thru the night without my Aspen collar and I have hope of returning to close to normal and managing my chronic pain better. My only regret is that I didn't see Dr. Mani sooner & may have not needed the 2nd surgery.

Fantastic experience: I have had an extremely positive experience with OMTA Physical Therapy. I have chronic lower back and hip pain and have visited doctors and other physical therapists throughout the years. I improve but never completely get rid of the pain. I was referred to Dr. Mani and my results have been tremendous! Dr. Mani took the time to listen to my history and my symptoms. After a thorough exam, he identified the issues. Before he began the therapy, he explained in detail how my sacroiliac joint and other issues I have interconnect and reinforced my understanding with medical photos/illustrations. Dr. Mani is professional, an expert at manual physical therapy, and highly educated with years of experience. I highly recommend OMTA!

Fantastic experience: Dr Mani treated my arm and shoulder pain effectively and efficiently. In addition to his manual therapy and office treatments, he educated me in easy to do as well as highly effective home exercises. Mr. Mani is an outstanding Doctor of Physical Therapy. He has special training in treating serious conditions of the spine & that’s the treatment I need. I’m 51 years old and have had several neurosurgeries to treat Spondylolisthesis, Stenosis & broken hardware in my spine. Mr. Mani knows what he is doing and is a complete professional. He is kind, caring & always willing to explain complex issues. I’ve been to many PT’s in my life & Mr. Mani is at the very top.

Fantastic experience: I am writing this experience after I am completely pain free and so much of time has passed. I went to Dr. Kaarthick Mani with some foot problem. I was told by him, that his treatment was not working and hence there was no point of continuing. I was surprized at the honesty!! But then I had sever back pain. I had already planned to go to India after 6 weeks. He and his staff took good care of me. He is such a good person, genuinly interested in your well being and he is kind. He reassured me that in 6 weeks he will make me pain free and I will be able to fly to India. I recovered almost completely and had a fantastic tour. He is a wonderful physical therapist and he is honest. Those who are reading this, I request you to go to him, at least once before giving up on yourself!
