Fantastic experience: They truly put the “Care” in healthcare !! My Therapist Amy has set me on a path to recovery from my chronic neck and elbow conditions . Her approach has been incredibly effective so far . She manages to intertwine therapy with information on how and why we are doing the things we are doing to help resolve my pain . For the first time in a long time I am hopeful to return to a daily life that is no longer effected by chronic pain. The premises is always impeccably clean, organized and well equipped. The support staff and therapy assistants like Jocelyn are always, professional, motivating and helpful when finding me an appointment that fits my tight schedule or assisting with my exercises . I would recommend them without hesitation to anyone who appreciates a therapist and team who treats the actual patient and not just their symptoms.

Fantastic experience: This is my second time using physical therapy and sports medicine of Branford Connecticut and I must say I would recommend anybody that needs physical therapy to go here. My therapist Amy is knowledgeable understanding and I’m already seeing improvements after a couple weeks and also the front desk is very organized, Michelle does a great job of checking you in and getting you right to your appointment. I highly recommend going here.

Fantastic experience: Clean, Polite,extremely knowledgeable, and when it comes to Pt, Colin Ketchel is great, he was and is amazing with my son, he went in there with a sports injury, and Colin always made sure that he cross checked everything he never missed going the extra mile to figure things out to make sure my son wasn't in any pain,always asked how his games were over the weekend, very nice, made my son feel comfortable!! and every aide was great and very helpful. Will definitely go back..

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough good things about this place and the staff. Everyone is so professional and really care about getting the patient back to where they were before a surgery, injury or other medical condition. The woman that left a 1 star review wasn’t even a patient for starters. The staff behind the desk are working to help other patients and probably didn’t even see them at the door. I’m sure if they knew they were struggling, they would have gotten up to help. . This is a great PT, with great staff.

Negative experience: I took a client here for an appointment and was quite aggravated that no one helped us through the door even though I was trying to finagle a wheelchair and help a woman behind us get through the door with her cane. There were 5 staff members sitting behind the window and not 1 left their sitting position to help us out. I do not know why in a facility like this getting through the door is such a struggle in the first place. The woman behind the desk with whom I aired my grievances was rude and a bit condescending. She kept smirking and making side eyes at the other staff while I spoke. I hope the session is worth the grief. So far not impressed.

Fantastic experience: I started seeing Ted a few weeks ago. I have TMJ and my doctor suggested PT to help. Ted is nothing short of knowledgeable and personable. All the staff at PTSMC Branford are great and the facility is beautiful. They have really helped me with massage/heat/exercise therapy to improve my overall functioning! Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: I have been in PT more than 20x in my life and PT&SM in Branford has been the best experience I have ever had. Ted explains everything and no question is a bad question. You are made to feel like you are family and your healing is very important to them. keep doing what you do because I know I will be back. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming everyone is happy.

Fantastic experience: I really love going to the brand new facility of Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine in Branford, Ct. Ted the owner is just a great therapist along with being compassionate, he is very caring and thorough. My mom is 94 and has been here post surgery and now for sciatic nerve pain. She is doing great. I am here for an shoulder injury...All of the therapists are very knowledgeable helpful and caring. They are hands on therapist. They don't just put you on a bike and walk away...this is personal, dedicated attention and therapy to make you better like you were before. They are in a new facility which is awesome...The parking is great and it's on a 1st floor direct entrance into the waiting room...If you need help for any reason that involves an injury or aches and pains give them a call. You won't be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Recovering from a severe hamstring injury is a slow and sometimes painful process. With massage and designed exercises Ted and his staff at PTSMC helped me to recover the flexibility and mobility that I had before the injury. I highly recommend their services.

Fantastic experience: Emily did a great job helping me rehabilitate my foot a year after a bad ankle sprain. She provided expert guidance, flexibility with my schedule, and took time to monitor my progress and coach me along the way. I highly recommend this practice!

Fantastic experience: After dealing with chronic neck pain and then waking up one morning unable to move my neck, I finally decided to try physical therapy. I only had a month before I had to move to a new city, but I was able to work closely with Colin Ketchel during that time to heal the worst of the flare-ups and establish a set of exercises to continue the improvement. It was a great experience all around and made me think differently and more positively about physical therapy.

Fantastic experience: As a 73 Year old man with arthritis I still try to hike everyday. After a fall I strained my shoulder and pulled my rotator cuff. Emily Searle has been incredible in helping me regain agility and the ability to raise my arms above the level of my shoulders. I saw Emily because of tendinitis in my foot, and then I saw Ted after I had labral repair surgery in both hips. I could not have recovered as well as I have without them and the entire team, and I can't thank them enough for their help!

Fantastic experience: I recently started physical therapy for lower extremity weakness.Ted diagnosed the issue during a through initial evaluation. I embarked on an exercise program to treat the condition and the weakness has improved dramatically.What I really like is the one on one service provided to patients.The office is welcoming and the staff are professional.I would recommend this office highly to anyone in need of their services.

Fantastic experience: I was sent to physical therapy for balance issues stemming from peripheral neuropathy. From the very first day, I received specific exercises targeted to my needs and abilities. Everyone there was very professional but also delivered care in a friendly atmosphere. So kudos to Dr Ted and Nick .

I saw Ted for about 4 months to fix a muscular issue and he was really knowledgeable and worked with me to eliminate the pain and strengthen the muscles. The atmosphere is really upbeat yet professional, and you can see the empathy for each patient. I would trust Ted to fix me again if needed.

Fantastic experience: Unfortunately my husband and I are in need of PT at same time! FORTUNATELY, we heard about PTSM in Branford Ct. Great location right off Exit 56, or simple fir us Rt80 to Rt139. As for staff, I’m fortunate to have Emily for hip and leg issues and my husband , having Ted for rotator issue. We are seeing success and feeling better after3 weeks and getting our mobility back. A huge factor for me, having PT various times in my life , at 3 different facilities, and now coming to PTSM in Brandeis a life changer. Treatments are thorough and because of this faculty being on a smaller scale the one to one personalized therapy is second to none. My form, comfort or challenge levels are always monitored with Emily or an assistant close by as well as my husbands. Thank you Emily, Ted and staff!! D and T M

Fantastic experience: I went to PTSMC in Branford because I met Ted in a networking meeting and he gave me a suggestion about my shoulder which no other healthcare professional had ever done - keep the weight of my arm on the table when typing! I finally realized it was time to get some PT after a YEAR of pain (I had rotator cuff surgery almost 4 years prior). He has turned out to be a fantastic physical therapist! He has given me 3 treatments I've never had in all the times I've been in PT for various issues! I got dry needling on my neck which after only 2 treatments released my neck, then he does some scraping thing which releases the acid in my muscles, and then some electrical thingy at the end of my exercises. I can't tell you how much my shoulder has improved in the few weeks I've gone there! I'm so, so relieved to have met Ted. I would recommend him without reservation!

Fantastic experience: The Center at 6 Business Park is easy to reach, just off I 95. It is in a cheerful sunny space. Excellent equipment and the office staff are welcoming when you walk in. The whole place sets you at ease. Glenn, the physical therapist who is helping me treat my problem is first rate.
