Fantastic experience: I have had 3 separate instances to use Quinnipiac P.T.; knee, back and currently receiving PT for hip replacement. I have been very pleased with their therapists and their follow-up with my physicians. Maria who handles the front desk is phenomenal. Having worked in management for health insurance companies I speak from experience as to what a great job she does. I currently work with Steve and Frank for my therapy who are thorough. More importantly, they care about improving my flexibility and ability to return to normal function. The Hamden and North Haven facilities are neat and clean. I will not go anywhere else.

Secretary and billing people were also kind ,courteous and considerate. I worked for a large area hospital but I chose to get treated here even if my copay was higher. I have referred my friends and family here in the past 5 years and I still highly recommend this place.

From the moment I walked through the door & was greeted by the friendly receptionist I knew I had chosen the best venue for my physical well being. Matt was right on pointe with his initial evaluation of my abilities & needs & the program he designed for me helped to resolve my issues. Christian implemented this program with the highest degree of professional care. He was attuned to my every need & worked with me diligently & tirelessly. The exercises he he gave me to do at home between visits were simple to follow, yet they helped to accomplish so much. I was able to meet all of my goals, thus I was able to restore my range of motion in my neck, shoulders & back without the discomfort with which I initially presented. Makayla too worked enthusiastically to insure that I was comfortable at all times. My hat is off to this consummate team of health professionals who collaboratively worked to deliver the treatment & results I was hoping for.

Fantastic experience: Quinnipiac Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine did a lot to ease the discomfort I have in my shoulder. They also determined I had a problem in my neck which they also addressed and treated. I would highly recommend them as a source of comfort and treatment.

Fantastic experience: Outstanding place! Facility is clean and professional, fees are reasonable, and staff really know their stuff. I worked with Matt Edwards, and I highly recommend him. I went there for a hamstring injury that wasn't healing, and chronic back issues. He figured out how the two are linked and provided appropriate treatment. And he explained both diagnosis and treatment in a way that a non-medical person can understand. I also liked that I got to see the same PT each time I came. I have been to several other PT clinics over the years, and this is the first time I actually felt better.

They also make an effort to be understood, about what is wrong/where the pain is coming from, and how they'll mend it. Greatly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Had a really good visit, sadly it was only one time, so really I can't give more than a first impression. But Had Matt, and he was very kind, and great, and helpful...unfortunately I am back to square one with finding a reason for my "one" vertigo attack, and consistent lightheadedness...I have more doctors to speak to, and will probably opt for a second opinion, but I would still like to say that Matt is a very nice guy...I will definitely come again if necessary. Fantastic experience: Quinnipiac Therapy is an excellent place if you are serious about getting better. The staff is outstanding and the therapists are superb. I have been going there for about 2 months and notice a considerable amount of improvement. It’s not easy and you must take these challenges very seriously. You must work at home with your exercises. You will definitely see a change in your flexibility, it doesn’t happen overnight so you must have patience.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend QU Physical Therapy. I worked directly with Stephen and Lisa from the Hamden office for the past 5 months due to a severe knee injury motocross riding. Both of them were excellent and got me back on my feet mountain biking way ahead of schedule. The doctors said it will take over 8 months and in less than 5 months I was out riding my bike again. Lisa and Stephen always listened to my needs and tailored my therapy based on my daily situation. I could not be more happier with my experience. Also everyone else I worked with was very professional and polite.

Fantastic experience: Quinnipiac Physical Therapy was my shelter in the storm--literally! I had to be in Hartford for a work appointment today, and left just as it was beginning to rain. The sky became darker as I drove south on I-91, and about a half-hour into my drive, suddenly my phone blared a warning sound. Placed in the holder on my dashboard I could see that it read "TORNADO WARNING." For a second, I thought to myself, "which is the bad one, a watch or a warning?" but then as I glanced at the message I could see it included the words, "Take shelter now." At this point, the sky opened up and my windshield wipers became useless. Large 18-wheel trucks were all around me and I put on my hazard lights and moved to the right, hoping for an exit. Then I saw a dark cloud ahead, moving quickly from west to east across the road, and the rain was horizontal. I didn't see a funnel cloud, but I had never seen a cloud move like I was witnessing. Then a branch blew past. I couldn't stop where I was, but saw just ahead an exit, and new it wasn't safe to remain on the highway with all the big trucks. I had no idea where I was, not being from this area of Connecticut. As I came to the end of the exit ramp, I saw it led onto the overpass of another roadway. Branches were racing past me, water was flowing down the ramp, lightning and thunder and the pelting rain shook my car. I stopped at the edge of the ramp, not wanting to go onto the high overpass and risk the wind. The cars behind me all stopped as well. After a couple of minutes, a car pulled past me, then another, and I followed it, getting off on the first exit, and seeing Quinnipiac Physical Therapy, located across the street. I drove there and parked in the lot, grateful to see lights on inside and cars nearby. I grabbed my mask and ran inside. Dave, and the other employees of QPT greeted me so warmly. They offered me a chair, Dave brought me water and another employee explained they had a cake there, to celebrate the graduation of a new PT from his training program. Indeed, the place was all decorated for the graduation celebration. I gratefully accepted a piece of cake, and let me tell you, this was awesome cake. I bake a lot, so I didn't need to be told it was made from scratch. It was a yellow layer cake, with a moist and delicate crumb, a strawberry jam filling, topped with a homemade buttercream frosting that was perfect, not too sweet. Really, that was amazing cake! I sat for a bit, asked what town I was in (North Haven) and called my husband just to let him know where I was located. I waited another 10 minutes or so, and when the rain let up a bit, and the weather alert was downgraded to a mere Tornado Watch, I figured I should leave to get home. When I got back on I-91, just south of where I had left the road earlier, at least 10 trees were down on the far right lane, where my car had been travelling. Look it up, "tornado North Haven August 28," it's reported in local media. I don't have experience with QPT for physical therapy, but I know that people who are so generous and caring, as these people were, not only to me, but to throw such a lovely party for their colleague, would make awesome therapists. Thank you for being my shelter, I got home about another hour later, with no more tornadoes--that was my first, and hopefully the last one I ever experience! I hope your homes and families are all safe and that if you lost power, that the outage is brief. Thanks again!

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Quinnipiac Physical Therapy. I was treated for back issues at their Hamden office by Garrett. The PT treatments helped greatly. Garrett and the Hamden Staff were wonderful. They all treated me like family. In this season of COVID-19 I felt safe. Every piece of equipment down to the pens were routinely sanitized!

Fantastic experience: I am a highly active, professional athlete, and I originally started out at QU PT seeing Dave, the owner, for Chiropractic adjustments -- Dave is AMAZING at his craft and I could never see myself going anywhere else for chiropractic care. Moving forward, I had also recently started seeing Dustin at QU PT for dry needling, in attempts to find the route of an injury. I had a lingering injury for months that was just being maintained but wouldn't go away. After dry needling only 1-2 sessions, Dustin helped significantly relieve a lot of discomfort that I had been having, by pinpointing the source of the issue, and giving me methods to reduce the reoccurrence. I don't know what I would do without these guys, and I highly recommend QU PT to anyone in need of some healing!

Fantastic experience: Everyone has been extremely friendly and helpful during my therapy sessions. They are always asking if I'm doing OK and certainly know what they are doing. I've been there before for my back and now there for my shoulder and if I ever need therapy again, I will certainly go back tp QPT.

Fantastic experience: I have been the fortunate patient of Dave Mikos and his staff for eight months, since therepair of a bad rotator cuff tear last August (my other shoulder was repaired the previous year and I went to a different physical therapy office). The Quinnipiac Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine team (Frank, Anthony, Sabrina, Sierra, and Maria, the receptionist—and anyone else I may have forgotten!) is kind, attentive, supportive and friendly that I’ve met in any medical facility. With decades of experience, Dave is knowledgeable and creative in his approach, and his commitment to taking good care of people is shared by the entire team. When I describe my concerns and symptoms, they listen, and if necessary additional treatments are added, or exercises adjusted. They explain why. I feel confident at the end of each visit that I am getting what I need and that I know what I can do at home to continue to heal. I also know that whenever I need their help, they will be there for me. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I called Dave Mikos Friday morning telling him about the pain i was experiencing in my left shoulder. I had a golf tournament the next day and he said to come in and he would tape it. The next morning i woke up with very little discomfort. I highly recommend Dave and his staff.
