Mystic Therapy - Pelvic Floor Therapy

Fantastic experience: Kellyn is incredibly empathic and compassionate towards your needs. I knew nothing about pelvic floor health and she was patient with me in explaining the basics. Pain the I have been experiencing for years that I have told other doctors about (which I was always dismissed) was attended to and she provided me a proper at home care plan to move forward with. If you are a woman living in the Norfolk area, you need to go to this clinic. You will learn so much about yourself and be on your way to a better more relaxed life!

Fantastic experience: Kellyn is a caring, compassionate and knowledgeable practitioner who I would readily recommend to anyone! I am postpartum and after having 2 singleton births and one twin birth, plus some other things pre-pregnancy, I was starting to have some pelvic floor dysfunction. But, I was honestly uncertain about getting pelvic floor therapy because of my complicated history. Kellyn readily took it on! She's an active listener, effectively helping me problem solve how to make a home program accessible and impactful. She readily educated me on how interconnected we are as beings and helpful in opening my eyes to the incredible impact this restoration has on my overall well-being. Fantastic experience: If I have one regret, it’s not having seen a pelvic floor therapist after, or even better, prior to having my first child. During my second pregnancy I had multiple episodes of incontinence, triggered by a cough or laughing and I thought this was totally normal. It’s NOT. Knowledge is power. Kellyn, with mystic therapy helped me significantly after the birth of my second child. After being evaluated by my OB 6 weeks postpartum, I was found to have a significant bladder prolapse, leading to incontinence at times, and experienced pain due to tight scar tissue from a tear repair. Mystic Therapy extensively evaluated my symptoms and did a thorough physical exam to ensure I had the best treatment plan possible. The environment was more than inviting and I can’t stress enough how empathetic and truly empowering the entire experience was. I was given the tools and taught the necessary exercises to heal. I had drastic improvements physically and even more so mentally. After multiple therapy sessions, I felt empowered and once again, in control of my body. If I had known sooner about pelvic floor therapy as an option, I would have sought it out sooner in hopes for prevention. I encourage anyone who is considering using Mystic Therapy to go for it, and invest in yourself. You’re worth it and you won’t regret it.
