Fantastic experience: TJ has been awesome in helping me come back from several issues that were slowing me down in my sport of triathlon. I have struggled PTs before in that they didn’t treat me as an athlete — which is frustrating when you just want to return to your original level after an injury. TJ has an endurance sports background and not only understands where you are coming from as an athlete, but will happily educate you on the process. The staff is also really amazing. They are welcoming, professional, and open to some banter. I highly recommend this location.

Fantastic experience: The staff at Pivot (Brambleton Ave. in Norfolik, VA.) has been extremely helpful and pleasant. They have provided me with the kind of physical exercises and information that has assisted in my recovery from a fall that injured my lower back and hip. I can highly recommend them to others.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic! I recently started PT for rotator cuff surgery and Morgan has been incredible. She's really helpful and friendly, while educating me on the proper way to do my exercises and keeping me on track. While I haven't yet worked with the other staff, they've all been friendly and helpful as well. It's telling when all the employees at a location are happy and friendly! It comes through in their work and their interactions with their clients.

Fantastic experience: I am rehabbing from my second total knee replacement. My first experience with the Physical therapists at Pivot on Brambleton Ave. in Norfolk was nine months ago when I had my first knee replacement. I was impressed with the level of attention I received during each session. The therapists were skilled and knowledgeable, and I felt that they really listened to me as I worked on regaining flexibility and strength. The same has been true with this second rehab. I can see improvement following each session. Exercises are explained and demonstrated, and I understand how each is going to benefit me as I work. I would highly recommend the services of these therapists.

Fantastic experience: My experience at Pivot PT has been wonderful. Jessica, the front desk support, is efficient and fun to talk with. She set the tone early for what has become a great process. My therapist, Sarahbeth, is not only knowledgeable but the time working with her flies by. The feedback I get on my progress and goals is encouraging and helpful. As I near the end of my recovery I am appreciative of the expertise I have encountered here. I recommend it highly. Oh, and no one wants to harp on the ongoing infection control stuff but I feel completely at ease here. Everything is cleaned between patients and we all wear a mask and keep social distance unless it’s absolutely necessary to be closer (for evaluation). Pivot also supports hands on experiences for students in physical therapy and the student I had working with me in August was well coached and supervised. In conclusion, I am glad I stopped ignoring that annoying pain and started working with professionals who can help me regain my strength and stamina in order to enjoy activities more. I see a wide range of patients in therapy so if you are recovering from an accident or medical condition the care is tailored and ever evolving. Hopefully I won’t need PT again for a long time but I know where to go if I do! Check them out, you won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: The Pivot/Norfolk(Brambleton Team) has taken care of my physical therapy needs for the past year as I have recovered my strength after chemotherapy and a broken hip. Director TJ Stites and his team have an impressive breadth of experience and knowledge. They have customized my therapy to adapt to my diverse problems and changing needs and stay near me during each session because I am a fall risk. Pivot’s clinic is spotless and equipment is cleaned after each use; everyone wears a mask and the staff spaces people to maintain maximum distance. Thanks to Pivot, I have recovered a lot of my strength and coordination over the last year.

She's very sweet and efficient. The therapists from T.J., the man with my plan of action which really worked well for me and I'm grateful. Haley, Sarah Beth, and Kristy all of you were very professional every time I visited, each of you guided me through my session and encouraged me all the time, even on the tough days. The clinic was cleaned and neat, everything was cleaned in between patients, social distancing, unless an evaluation was happening. Fantastic experience: Top notch on all accounts. The facilities was super clean and I felt safe and comfortable in the midst of the Covid issue. The PTs are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. I loved how hands on my time was in the clinic and the amble direct 1:1 time with the PT. I would HIGHLY recommend this group to anyone looking for gold standard physical therapy.
