Fantastic experience: From the first visit, everyone has been Friendly and helpful. My therapist, Christa, Is very Caring & patient. My first day I came in with a case of cellulitis that had developed in my leg from a bad fall… She only kept me a little while and then Suggested I go immediately to urgent care. Every visit so far, everyone I encounter has been kind and Professional. Would definitely recommend Norman Physical Therapy.

After coming to Norman physical therapy, I will never again go to anywhere else. The entire staff is amazing. They are knowledgeable, helpful, and extremely patient. Alicia came highly recommended from a friend, and now I am highly recommending her to the rest of you. She will work you hard, but you will laugh the whole time you do it.

Fantastic experience: I had shoulder surgery and Olivia took such good care of me. She knew just how far to go with all the exercises and stretches so that I would not hurt myself. I had a tendency to do more but she was able to keep me slowed down and on track. I healed up and have all my range of motion back. I will be having a hip replacement soon and you can bet I will be going back there again. Great Job…

Negative experience: When I first walked on I was yelled at from across the whole building “is there something I can help you with” I was put off by the unprofessionalism. The front desk lady was making her way there and asked again “can I help you” it was the way she asked that made me feel like I was an inconvenience. Like their service is supposed to be physical therapy. Was I supposed to have an across the room conservation about my medical needs? I made a payment then they asked me to fill out documents .They had so many documents for medical history that they wanted me to fill out, which is already a burden after all that I have had to go through. I filled out what I thought was necessary I just needed my finger worked on after surgery, and did not feel like filling all that out just to get my finger therapies. They rudely insisted and of course made me look like the bad guy about everything in front of everyone. They didn’t care or consider all that I had been through lately. For “therapists” they had 0 empathy. They just insisted they had to have all my medical history to perform their service. I realized they had poor customer service and did not want my business. So I asked for a refund and left. I went to a different physical therapist, and they helped me and didn’t need all my medical history. It has been 1 and a half month and still no refund. The problem that’s worse is they don’t even realize they’re the problem and were snooty. I felt looked down upon. I don’t even have a way to get my refund. I have already called and been told they processed it and there is nothing more they can do.

Fantastic experience: What separates NPT from others is the outstanding attitude of everyone who works there. Everyone has a smile on their face and it's easy to see they enjoy their work. Following total knee replacement Christa and Olivia helped make my knee stronger and increased my confidence in the stability of my knee. Both were a joy to work with! There are almost as many PT places in Norman as there are banks. Put Norman Physical Therapy at the top of your list.

Fantastic experience: Norman Physical Therapy will always have special place in my heart. I came for rehab after hand surgery and I have gotten so much help in my recovery. Everyone on staff is so close, welcoming, and kind. It feels like you’re walking into a family, and as someone has done lots of PT this is probably one of the best places I have been to! They are very accommodating with working with doctors out of state which has made my recovery 10 times easier!

Fantastic experience: After having surgery on my thumb I was sent to Norman PT. I walked in a bit apprehensive not knowing what to expect. After my first session with Alicia Blaylock, I knew the experience was going to be a good one. Not to sound cliche, but it’s like an extension of very close friends and family. Encouraging and supporting one another is a must and there is no shortage of either here!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming here for about six months for some pretty serious injuries and have loved my experience here! All the staff are super friendly. I’ve worked a lot with Alicia, hand specialist, and Olivia, lower body specialist, and both have been phenomenal. I am improving rapidly and am almost back to full functionality. The environment is warm and well taken care of. If I ever destroy my body parts again, this is definitely where I would like to come back to.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic care by Dr. Olivia Nees. After an injury to my right ankle years ago, I started having issues with my left ankle just weeks before I was scheduled to go on military orders. Olivia worked with me, and I feel better than ever. Wish I would have gone when I first injured myself. Very attentive care and creative exercises. She was great at explaining what she was doing and what the goals were. Clear instructions on exercises and she is very personable and friendly. She remembered small details from session to session, both about my injury and personal chitchat during sessions. Front desk was also very friendly and worked to resolve an issue with my referral from VA to Tricare Reserve. Building is fine, but could definitely use and update/remodel. Seems like they're spending money on the equipment, though, which is probably the better use of money.

Fantastic experience: Excellent caring, empathetic, and personal service. They are very knowledgeable and will take time to answer all your questions and determine an appropriate treatment plan. Kudos to Debbie, Erin, and Martha for all their good work. Been awhile since I've had pain relief in my back and they put me back on my A-game within a couple of treatments. I can for once see the hope of a full recovery even as the treatments of other providers have failed. A Big Thank You to all the folks at Norman PT!!

Fantastic experience: Went in with arthritic hands and one finger in particular that didn’t want to bend. Debbie gently and persistently treated my entire hand while focusing on the finger with the problem. After six visits I can actually bend the finger. Debbie also gave me exercises to do on my own with other suggestions for making tasks easier that were difficult for me in my everyday living. The center is well equipped with professional therapists who know what they are doing and care about their patients. It is a very relaxed and pleasant environment. I can’t recommend this place highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I saw Debbie McConnell for lymphedema prevention after a surgery. She was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. She provided numerous exercises to assist in lymphatic drainage. 10/10 would recommend!

Fantastic experience: They are by far the most kind and genuine group of medical professionals I have received care from. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing physical therapy. Hopefully I'll never need it again. But if I do, I'll be going back to Norman Physical Therapy.

Fantastic experience: I had broken my left ankle back in May 2020. After my injury was healed I was recommended to this physical therapy office. The first day going in and working with Kate I could barely move my ankle or walk. Kate did a wonderful job on being there for me and helping me recover. She took her time and had a lot of patience with me. Not only was Kate nice and helpful but the whole staff here are very welcoming. I am now back at work working my 50+ hrs a week! Thank you all I really appreciate all the help!

Fantastic experience: Debbie is AWESOME! She has so much experience and compassion. Debbie and her entire staff are so caring. She treated my broken wrist, injured shoulder and CRPS. Her expertise is what got me through the pain and healing process. I would not have use of my arm, shoulder or hand without her. I did the work that she asked of me and I was so happy with the final results. I appreciate everything they did for me. They gave me back a life without pain. I was so lucky to find them. Fantastic experience: I made an appointment with Norman Physical Therapy because I had planters fasciitis. I had tried all the treatments that I had read about online, and I stilled had planters fasciitis, which is very painful. I was released today pain free, and thank you to Kate, which is very caring, and is an excellent Physical Therapist . I would recommend Kate and the staff to anyone. I am thrilled to be back to normal again! Thank you Kate for all of your expertise!

Negative experience: The Staff is and does an outstanding job, But the billing office will try and rip you off. To start with they double billed me, Then they kept sending me a bill after I had paid it. But wait there is more, my son needed some physical Therapy and I thought why not give this place a second chance, because we all make mistakes from time to time. but that is not the case, once again the billing is all messed up. First they sent me a bill for 60 dollars, ( I paid) then I get a bill for 30 dollars for the exact same service, so I try and call Debbie at the billing office, I left several messages but she never returned my calls. I had to call her boss to get him to make her call me back, once she called me back I explained my problem, she stated that they had billed the insurance company with the wrong codes, she told me to just wait until they got it straightened out and she would send the correct bill. I received the bill today and it states that I owe 120 dollars for those same services once again, and that it is 90 days past due. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE, THEY WILL TRY AND RIP YOU OFF!!!!

Fantastic experience: I have been to this physical therapy clinic many times over the last 20+ years and each time I have left with great treatment and care. My end results are always positive. (I have been to other clinics in California as well for comparison; some good some not.) Areas of treatment include: knee/ACL micro tears, shoulder pain/weakness, plantar fasciitis (severe arch pain in the foot), back and neck pain, wrist pain associated with carpel tunnel... there may be a few other things along the road and you can bet I will return there. Debbie McConnell and the other therapist (it has changed over the years for whom I have seen) are always kind and willing to work me in as best they can. Most recently Kate has done dry needling to my upper trap and it has helped my stiff and painful neck. Also, Debbie gently readjusts the rotation along my spine (upper, middle, and lower). Martha and Debbie also have done Astym to my neck, arm, and wrist (not many people are trained to use these tools, but I love how it has helped my carpel tunnel and neck). I am always amazed at how much better I feel when I walk out the door. Also, Debbie is one of the few certified hand therapists in the state. She is also certified in manual lymph drainage. They are a small clinic. It is like Cheers, “where everybody knows your name.”

Fantastic experience: For anyone needing PT on your hands please please know that you need a CHT this stands for CERTIFIED HAND THERAPIST that are very hard to find Debbie is CHT and MLT she has been in the field for 39 yrs. Martha who also works on me are both EXCELLENT they have never overbooked with me. They are gentle but know when you need to step it up I highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: I needed therapy after a car wreck left me with wrist and clavicle surgeries and they took amazing care of me. Very professional and knowledgeable. They were very attentive to my needs while under their supervision. They provided detailed information on the exercises I needed to be doing and why I needed to do them. They are very clean. They thoroughly clean tables immediately after one client uses them and before another is allowed to sit on it. Everybody cleaned hands between clients. I've seen other therapy places not do either of those. Even though the therapy wore me out, I looked forward to going because they made it fun and encouraging and gave me confidence that they would get me back in working order quickly and effectively.

Fantastic experience: Very professional, great service. Only place in Oklahoma I could find who offers lymphatic drainage massage. They even specifically added Cigna as provider when my employer switched their health insurance coverage.

Fantastic experience: Really no words can express my gratitude for what Debbie, Martha, Kate and the staff have done for me. I was shot several times in the line of duty with life threatening injuries and required many surgeries. A long recovery would be ahead of me and limited to no function with my right hand/arm. My life and my family's life would be forever changed. Thanks to the sincere care and dedication I have received at Norman Physical Therapy, I have made remarkable steps in function with my right hand/arm. Thanks to them I have a chance of returning to the profession which I love. Forever grateful to them for all they have done and all the compassion they have shown me.

Fantastic experience: The expertise and friendliness of Debbie, Kate, Martha and all the staff here is why I return. I always leave feeling like myself again with confidence. I love having the same therapist each time I return during my therapy. Kate is amazingly knowlegable and attentive to detail, and genuine. Everyone at NPT have your best interest in mind.

Negative experience: ***Update 5-3-19 Well so far there is still no refund and my insurance shows they should have gotten the check a couple of weeks ago. They still owe me $20.25. It was processed 4/5/2019. So will update again as needed. ***** Went there for hand therapy and was not impressed. Was first told that my copay was the "specialist" amount which is WRONG!! Although I said that it was wrong she didn't believe me and I paid the amount she wanted anyway, only to find out she was wrong and now they owe me money! I have great federal insurance and that is very common and they didn't even do what is required for them to do, which is to get authorization to treat. I had to tell them how to do their job. So beware if your insurance requires that, because you could be left holding the bag. I am experienced in the field and know what is required although this is their business and they should know better. As for the therapy part she seemed overbooked for the time and was pulled in many directions with little help. I have had physical therapy many times over the years and I have never had to do their jobs before and seen this type of service. I will not be going back and am waiting for my refund. Will see if I get it. I called them and told them that they owe, me so will see how long it takes, will update if needed. So please beware if you go here and make sure that you understand what your insurance requires! I would not personally recommend them at all. The single star is generous.

Fantastic experience: They are great... it has been a year since I went in for treatment... Saved me from needing surgery. They were very professional and I found them to be very straight forward with the cost of the services. I recommend them to anyone who needs this service. Anyone I have referred has been very happy with their results.

Positive experience: Staff is very friendly but they tend to over-book their patients. Erin has 2-4 patients scheduled at the same time, with therapy sessions lasting for 10-20 minutes. My therapy sessions with other businesses for previous rehabilitation needs was always 30-60 minutes with a dedicated physical therapist.

Negative experience: Grossly overcharges, our bill was all screwed up, billing us for things that were never done. They wouldn't correct the errors and threatened to send us to collections (we were never late, but they knew we weren't happy with the billing.) Their initial estimate was completely wrong. We were shocked after the bill arrived. I ended up owing over $600 for 3 visits. The treatment was definitely not worth the cost.
