Fantastic experience: It is very clear that Amanda is doing what she was called to do! She truly cares about each of her patients and has a passion for helping people heal. She is very knowledgeable and makes sure your body is in alignment and all your muscles tendons and ligaments are working together as a team to aid the healing process. There were so many times that my body was compensating in different areas for my shoulder injury, and she was able to get my body in better alignment to move the way it is meant to! She was very encouraging and meets you where youre at every single day to give you the most benefit from your session. She is a true gem to the team and those she treats. Thanks Amanda!

They are both assets to Therapy in Motion in Norman.

Fantastic experience: What all of the therapists at Therapy in Motion do well is literally everything. Scott is the absolute best physical therapist - the most knowledgeable and professional, and he really cares for his patients' wellbeing. All of the therapists there do. I've never felt like just another appointment there. Every patient is important to them. The therapists will challenge you to work your hardest toward recovery, but they also know when you need to rest. They are great cheerleaders. I’ve gotten therapy there for various issues over the years, and I would never go to any other physical therapy clinic.

Fantastic experience: I have been going for injured knee. Was very impressed with intake assessment and my therapist. I have noted reviews negative to treating two patients at once but have had no issue with that. Seems efficient to me. She treats other patient while I do 10 minutes on machine or doing the repetitions of stretches etc. I have heard no comments violating patient confidentiality except from one chatty patient. Can’t control that!

I have been to numerous PT clinics in the OKC area and none even comes close to the specialized services and HANDS ON therapy they provide. I have been seeing Scott Boyles for 5 yrs off and on for different joint and muscle problems and pain issues. He has made a tremendous difference in my quality of life and mobility. Fantastic experience: I go twice weekly and I am also 11.Whenever I go there I am always so happy to see everyone because they are so nice.At the front desk they always greet me and it puts a smile on my face the staff there is amazing and the exercises I do have improved my ability to do my sport and just in general. Therapy In Motion is and amazing place!!! Zoey my PT is amazing and very funny she makes exercises fun and has helped me sooooo much I am so thankful to have her as my PT. Marley is my PT if Zoey isn't there and she is very sweet and kind yet again has helped me so much!! And then theres Canon he is very funny and has allowed me to punch him with punching gloves why you might ask??? Well I hit my goal of a handstand in good form and stayed in it for 30sec!! SO therefor I got to do that!! And overall the staff there has always treated me nicely and respectfully and that is why I like Therapy In Motion!!

Fantastic experience: If you’re looking for therapy catered specifically for your healing journey, Therapy in Motion is where it’s at. I could barely walk or get out of bed due to a back injury. My doctor advised I might even be looking at surgery but my insurance makes you go through a bunch of hoops. (Eye roll). I begrudgingly made an appointment thinking “doc already said my injury probably requires surgery - I HATE that I have to go through Physical Therapy first!” (Wouldn’t PHYSICAL therapy just make my back worse? Or at the very least induce more pain?) UGH! I am SO happy that I gave this place a chance because not only does my doctor say he no longer feels like I need surgery, which is AMAZING, but the biggest difference is how much better and STRONGER I feel! All of the therapists are incredibly skilled, knowledgeable and PERSONABLE. The front desk is friendly, accommodating, and equally knowledgeable. You never feel like a burden when you walk in the door. Even if the ladies at the desk are on the phone or tending to another patient, I have always been greeted with a bright smile. This place deserves ALL the stars!!!! Shoutout to Amanda, Cannon, Scott, Ife, Jordyn, just everyone. Yall make the healing process SO much brighter! I will refer everyone to this facility!!

Fantastic experience: After a shoulder injury at the fire station Therapy in Motion helped me rehabilitate my shoulder from limited range of motion to strong enough for work. Tia Williams equipped me with stretches & exercises I wouldn’t normally incorporate into my routine; I feel like this will help injury prevention in the future. Tia did an excellent job. She challenged me at every appointment to strengthen my shoulder without re-injury. She was professional, kind, & very personable; couldn’t say enough good things about her & the job she did. I’d recommend Therapy in Motion to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I love coming to physical therapy here! I work with Bree and she has really helped lower my pain level and gain mobility in my back. The whole team here is so nice and makes it a fun and welcoming place to come every week. Misty, who works the front desk, is so sweet and always helps find a time for me that accommodates my busy schedule!

Fantastic experience: I had an exceptional group of physical therapist working on me when I shattered my knee, Taylor, Kanon, and Alex worked me through this very painful injury and by the time I was released from the clinic I had the full degree of bend in my leg that my orthopedic surgeon wanted and I was walking without the severe pain that I had when I started treatment. Fantastic experience: I’ve been taking my daughter to physical therapy for a year and a half and the results are amazing! Nova was diagnosed with erbs palsy in her right arm and Sara was very knowledgeable and gave me hope that we could get my daughters arm functional, passing months working on her arm and she can use her arm perfectly! Sara is perfect with children and is always in a bubbly good mood my daughter loves her and gets excited everytime she sees her! I highly recommend this place also thank you ladies working on the phones for scheduling everytime we have spoken it’s been very professional and a positive experience. Everyone working in the building is amazing and we are happy to continue coming back!

Fantastic experience: This is a great place, everyone is very positive and pleasant, but the five stars are especially for Kara - thank you so much! I had both shoulders replaced, one in 2018 and the other in 2019. Rehab went well as far as range of motion but I have struggled with what I'd call functionality, meaning strength and endurance. I kept reinjuring them doing simple things like washing the car or raking leaves. I have been to several other PT clinics after the injuries and they were good, but their focus was on range of motion and after that they couldn't help. Finally my primary care doctor referred me to Therapy in Motion and wow! Kara has worked miracles - after only a few weeks the pain and tightness from the ruptured biceps head is almost gone, and functionality is noticeably improved. After over three years of frustration and pain I am now so much better and hopeful I'll be back to my old self, or even better, soon. Thank you Kara!!!

Fantastic experience: Had right knee replaced in December. With excellent therapy from Alex and Scott, my knee is better than it has been in 30 years. Left knee scheduled to be replaced in March. I am definitely going back to them for final PT. Although I mainly worked with Alex and Scott, everyone in the facility was very nice, friendly and helpful.

Fantastic experience: I have been getting physical therapy for several months now and am happy to see improvements in my physical issues. From the minute I walk through the door, the staff here are all friendly and helpful. It doesn't feel like you're going to another doctor's appointment. It's like you are doing exercise at home. The environment is very calm and stress-free. It takes me about 30 minutes to drive to my appointments; for some, that may be a long distance; however, it is well worth the drive to me.

Fantastic experience: For Tia, Emily & Bre My Physical Therapist Tia is personable and figures out exactly what works for your condition. Which mine is a rare one that most have never heard of but, she has gotten me from a pain scale 10 to a 4 a 4! On some days, which I'd lost hope in that possibility. My full range of motion has been restored as well. She knows her skill her energy is fun & loving.. Emily & Bree are always fun too & have great attitudes. Greet you with smiles everytime I come in. Fantastic experience: I’m very grateful for the quality care I’ve received here for several years. I was initially referred to Scott by a dentist who was doing a bite revision. He has literally given me my life back; I could not sit without burning pain and was told I had scoliosis at one time. Now, I can sit without discomfort and I apparently don’t have scoliosis once my alignment was corrected. My life has taken a different course since receiving treatment here. I’m active and feel very well!

Fantastic experience: I have known the original owners of TiM for decades and have been there on three occasions in the past 20 years, all with great success. I am currently being seen for lingering back pain and am making good progress. The staff are relatively young which leads to a very relaxed and supportive environment, but there is no lack of experience. Everyone from the front office (Emily and others) to the Therapists to the Technicians are very friendly and professional. I am currently working with Juliana who has been fantastic in identifying beneficial stretches and spinal manipulations to reduce back pain and increase muscle strength. She is very competent and encouraging. Alex is always entertaining and knowledgeable. As a patient you get to observe how all of the staff work with other patients and can tell that each treatment is individualized and much appreciated by all patients. I highly recommend Therapy in Motion.

Fantastic experience: I’m 78 years old and was concerned that the therapists would not enjoy working with me and I would not enjoy therapy. Was I ever wrong! Zoe, Alex, and Kanon were so gracious and concerned about my stiff joints. I was so comfortable with them and the atmosphere at Boardwalk. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I recently read an article in The Norman Transcript titled Marking a Milestone. It was a great article about Therapy in Motion. Cindy Merrick has done an amazing job with Therapy in Motion and deserves all the credit in the world. I have not seen a PT that has as much knowledge as Cindy. Her ability to diagnosis and treat is unmatched. She has helped me with injuries numerous times.

Fantastic experience: The team at Therapy In Motion is the best! I had to have three different surgeries on my right knee and used a different physical therapy group for the first two surgeries rehabilitation process. The difference between the Therapy In Motion physical therapists and my first group of physical therapists was significantly different. The first group of physical therapists had me doing the same recovery exercises after each surgery and there was almost no hands on massage or manipulation of my knee and the surrounding muscles. Needless to say, there was little to no improvement with my knee using the first group of physical therapists. The Therapy In Motion physical therapists were very hands on from my first visit the day after my third knee surgery. They listened to what I was telling them and developed a rehabilitation plan that not only encompassed rehab exercises but also deep tissue massage that I believe was vital to me making the best recovery I could possibly make. I had several different physical therapists (Cindy, Adam, Alex, Sean, and Kanon) while going to Therapy in Motion and each was extremely knowledgeable and proficient at what they do. I want to especially recognize Adam and Alex (a.k.a. “Zander”) for the tough love they gave me during the rehabilitation process. They really got into my knee and the surrounding muscles with the deep tissue massage which really helped break up all the scar tissue I had from the first two surgeries. Sean and Kanon were excellent as well focusing more on my agility. I hope I never have to go through another rehabilitation process like this again. However, if I do, I’ll be going to Therapy In Motion because they know what they’re doing. A special thank you to all the techs (Shea, Jillian, Bailey, Claire and Marissa) for running me through various exercises and the recovery stem/stim and ice treatments at the end of each session.

Fantastic experience: I went here after having my knee replaced. We have used Therapy in Motion in the past and have always been pleased with the service and results. This time did not disappoint. While my knee was a bit stubborn Jakob did work with me to get it to the point were I am moving pretty well again. The therapists and staff are always open to answering any questions I had. The added bonus is most of the other patients like me while not really wanting be there were general up beat about the therapy they were receiving.

Fantastic experience: I have used Therapy in Motion for all of my PT needs over the last 10 or 12 years because they were highly recommended by my friends and family. Since I have no one I can compare them to, I can only judge by the results of the care they have provided. To date they are batting 3 for 3 in keeping me off of the surgeon’s table. Yes, Taylor really knows his stuff, and the entire team are experienced and thorough and nice and encouraging and all that. But in the end - for me - it’s the results that matter.
