Negative experience: I hated it there, I understand it wasn't gonna be fun but at some point it just didn't help at all and made everything worse, the only good thing I got out of that was medicine I guess, the first night I got there it was the middle of the night and I was hyperventilating on the floor screaming about to pass out and all they did (especially one specific doctor) stared at me and said "that's not gonna help, your not helping anything" I was so dizzy and freaked out without enough sleep exactly a year after my mom died, and that man was just leaning against a wall and being all sarcastic watching a 12 year old kid who tried to stab themselves just a couple hours ago hyperventilating. Some of the staff did look like they were trying, but other than like 2 people everyone else didn't give a crap that I had intense almost debilitating anxiety and caused several panic attack for me. At some point they told me they had piercing spacers so my piercings won't close but they completely ignored me when I talked to them about it but still gave other kids spacers. They were constantly throwing away the art that I had to make with my trash because there was LITERALLY NOTHING, I get that they have to take away alot of things so we don't have a way to hurt ourselves or someone else but I was making tiny little projects from my trash and they always took them and threw them away, the staff was lowkey kinda irresponsible and constantly messing up, they didn't tell me anything and got mad at me when I accidentally broke the rules such as accidentally walking into the staff room, the NEVER told me about laundry and I was constantly wearing dirty clothes because I wouldn't let myself ask them because of anxiety, I feel like they should've thought of that tho since it is a mental hospital for kids, the food made me wanna throw up to the point that I didn't even know whatever I was supposed to be eating, my therapist didn't help for crap, they told me they clean the bathrooms but my bathroom was so gross when I got there but was somehow the only place that felt safe, they kept blaming me and this other kid for trying to hurt eachother, I could keep going on and on but I don't wanna make a too long review

Positive experience: Tbh i meant so many amazing people here i love the staff the movie are mid and so is the food. I love adrian (staff) he grnuinley saved my life.

Fantastic experience: This place is GOOD.The dorm 2 staff is what make it AMAZING!!!!One time Brooklyn(staff) saved me whenever I choked after eating dry chicken.Thanks to her CPR skills I’m alive today.Julian (also staff) carried me around all day after I broke my leg after tripping on Erica’s(staff) vape charger.

Negative experience: Have never been to a facility that takes this long to admit some one,really hope the recovery aspect is worth the LLOONNGG wait

Positive experience: I have been there 3 times, and it has most def improved! I was there in February. You get 4 phone calls for 10 mins each call. The staff are very wise! but I met alot of friends there who I still talk to! Me and my 2 friends would always talk about how we are stuck tg for 6 years but in we all knew we werent! it helped us get through the time but everyday I play cards like I did when I was there 2,Q.K <3 - Summer Collins ( Steven I miss u ) lol

Negative experience: My sister was locked in a closet because they were trying to force an old male therapist on her after they asked her preference. Didn't take it into account and she explained why to them and they still did what they did. Don't think this is a good place.

Negative experience: Going here as a child made me wanna commit. These people are untrained and half the reasons they keep children here longer are absolutely ridiculous. If you hate your kid - send them here.

Negative experience: Was here for almost a year when I was a kid from February 2010 to January 2011. Was mentally abused by staff & almost got molested in the shower by another patient. The majority of the people I were there with are dead or in prison. All this place does is expose children to horrible conditions and prime them for incarceration as an adult. Good job Oklahoma lmao

Fantastic experience: Crc helped me get back into the right mindset, this place helped me 100% doubt, the staff were so kind and caring and were always supporting, the staff members that I would really like to thank are Jerhett, Guy, Hilary, Scarlett, Makayla, Brent, Nurse Adrianna, and last but not least my amazing therapist miss Mary, you all were so kind to me and were there when I thought no one else was,, thank you all from the bottom of my heart, I’m so glad I decided to let y’all help me, you guys are amazing

Positive experience: I can honestly say this place is a joke! I mean all the staff are very nice the treatment it self is a joke!

Fantastic experience: I went here when I was 14. I was inpatient for months! This place saved my life especially the two twin nurses who worked on my dorm. I made many positive connections here and was able to heal from past trauma. It has made me the woman I am today, studying ro be a psych nurse myself. I am forever grateful for the people I met here!

Positive experience: There are some really good staff members there and when it comes to mental health facilities paid for by the taxpayers it’s really hard to get above a three I have to give a three because one of the supervisors there is a flat out you know what. She is a trouble maker and instigator.. but God bless all of them. It’s such a tough job.. and there really are some caring, loving people. Sadly, they’re hamstrung by the bureaucracy and the hypocrisy.

Positive experience: The staff has been kind, helpful and accommodating. It's never great to have to use a facility like this, however, I would not use any other around here. It's not the Hilton, but the front desk staff, the counselors, and the doctors do care.

Positive experience: i was here from late november '85 to june '86. Kay Greene was my therapist. reading these other reviews makes me think the place has really gone down hill. I dont remember the food being bad. I dont really have any complaints. I wasn't mistreated. I watched the space shuttle challenger explode while sitting in here. i learned to play spades in here. My memories are not unpleasant.

Fantastic experience: I cant explain in words how much I appreciate all the staff in this place and how much they helped me. This place was the best thing that ever happened to me , life changing experience seriously. I actually feel like myself again for once and i feel so much better since i left yesterday. To any of the staff ever reading this, thank you . Genuinely, thank you. I am more than greatful to have the therapist i had in there as well, jeffery. Thank you guys so much!

Negative experience: This is the most understaffed and unprofessional facility in the state. Do not take anyone you love here

Positive experience: i had some of the most chaotic uno games here, also i started a my melody hate group food wasn't too good but it was eatable, the vegan patty thing did taste like dog food though

Negative experience: All these ppl do is call CPS and tell lies.

Positive experience: Gave me lice! But still 100% better than CedarRidge! Staff was really nice most of the time, we actually got to talk and play games in-between are scheduled group treatment activities. The lunch and dinner provided to kids who are lactose intolerance was horrendous! I ate a dry and bland chicken sandwich almost everyday, sometimes even twice a day! I started to concern the nurses because i would not eat my food if it was a chicken sandwich! To this day i can't eat chicken sandwiches! You can not feed a child the same thing everyday for 3 weeks!

Positive experience: the staff was nice but it doesn’t really help your mental health. it’s more of a place for stability and you don’t get to talk to a therapist or doctor much eaither, and the food sucks

Positive experience: i mean it’s a basic state owned facility the staff were really chill and i’ll never forget some of them even if i can’t remember a few names but the food was terrible like nasty but they did help me around that i mean it wasn’t a terrible experience i’d say it’s as good as it could be for a psyc ward in oklahoma i didn’t go with my own will i was forced but it was a nice break because i knew what i was doing every day and didn’t have to worry about anything except who’s picking the next movi

Fantastic experience: Very nice place as of 4 or 5 years ago. If you want to be free this is a good place. Not so much the AA but the staff is amazing. True family. There are a couple staff members who I will never forget. They were with me, as family, when I had lost all hope.

Fantastic experience: Im 21 and i was there in 2011 n i love it it a good place for n after i left i never got back on drugs i was doing now I'm clean and healthy with a great husband and a little boy thanks yall for helping me turn my life around I got the help i needa and stormy was really awesome and the stuff was really good when i was there . once again thanks yall for everything im clean sobor going 7years ! If it wasnt for yall who knows where i would be!!

Fantastic experience: This was such a blessing for my daughter! Everyone here was professional and caring. They are dedicated to helping children with coping skills for life. Our therapist was Mary Basquine and she is AMAZING, as was the rest of the staff!! They are parent friendly encouraging visits and phone calls. Visits are twice a week for 3 hours and phone calls are allowed on each shift. Other places have been very similar to prison. C.R.C. is structured and competently supervised yet respectful and caring. I would highly recommend this facility!!!

Fantastic experience: Go there if you need it. You may have heard horror stories, but trust me, this one's the best of the best!

Positive experience: The facility never turned on the AC and when they did it was freezing cold. The staff were amazing, and great people to be around. The treatment plan was a joke I got to leave early because there was nothing they could do for me in their. I was their for drugs n anger not suicide.

Positive experience: I was put in there a few years back for drugs and whatnot. It was a pretty good experience. I was just a kid who kept getting in trouble, not so much a kid with major addiction problems. That changed after I got out. Its like I started having real problems after I left there. Tiss all my fault though. They bad many a good lessons for me, I just didn't learn them.

Fantastic experience: I love this place helped me out a lot when I was younger but I've been to more than one place but this one helped the most
