Negative experience: I really liked my psychiatrist. She helped me a lot. That was until one day when I asked her to sign a note for school after I had 3 weeks where my PTSD was triggered by someone randomly showing up. Then, I became so depressed and anxious. I could barely leave my house without panic attacks or crying. I even had an appointment where she finally diagnosed me with bipolar 2. The medicine ended up helping, but that 3 weeks was about up during this time. She said I was not incapacitated during this time, which is simply untrue. I even went to the hospital during this time, because a panic attack was so bad. I never do that, but I just could not breathe. I wasn't upset about the letter. My PCP went ahead and took care of it as I had a physical illness shortly after. I was upset that she treated me like this wasn't debilitating. Do I have to put my self in a mental hospital for that or what? I explained this to the staff and asked to switch providers. This is something I asked about and was originally told I could do, because I'm always nervous the doctor and I won't match. So, no one responds, I call twice. The second time someone answers and immediately transfers me to the office manager. She then is very rude in how she speaks to you. She immediately tells me "oh, I read your message(why didn't you respond to me?). We don't switch providers here" She then starts saying, "but the doctor (who I've never seen, spoke to, or even knew existed) okayed her not doing the letter." I immediately told her(as I had stated in my message) that this was not something I was worried about and it was already handled. I explain AGAIN that it was because I was afraid my provider does not take this serious or simply didn't listen. Plus, I've always felt awkward in our meetings. She then starts giving me the most insincere sorries and saying "I read where the doctor noted your panic attacks and everything" and just keeps fighting me on MY OWN PERSONAL FEELINGS. I mean it's a GIANT red flag that you won't let someone switch to a new provider. I even consulted with some people I knew in the field. They also said they wouldn't stay there if that's the case, because it seems like I'm not allowed to advocate for myself. Unfortunately, I have to stay because I need my medicine. However, I am actively waiting on someone to call me back regarding scheduling new patient appointments.

Negative experience: Something happened to this place. I had to cancel about an hour before my virtual appointment due to an emergency. I communicated the situation to them through the portal. They called me later that day and said that since I canceled within a 24 hour period, I can't schedule anymore appointments until I pay a $75 no-show fee! Which means I can't refill my prescriptions because they won't do that until I have an appointment scheduled. Summit Health and Wellness has turned into a money-hungry clinic that preys on the nuero-divergent. Stay away.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Summit for a few years now and every visit has been nothing short of exceptional. From the front desk to the providers. They genuinely care and you can tell the people there love what they do.

Fantastic experience: I love that I found this place and found a psychiatrist that cares!! It’s not always easy putting a child on meds, but I’m glad to be at Summit through the trials and errors to find what works best for my kid. Also having a doctor that listens to my concerns as a parent and makes adjustments accordingly is priceless these days. I absolutely recommend Dr Smart!!!

Fantastic experience: Great Staff, they provide the Ultimate and Optimum Mental Health Services for all those looking for help with their challenging and uncanny mental issues! Their staff is extremely educated, knowledgable and professional. They are compassionate and I sincerely encourage you to start a new chapter and/or beginning of the story of your life, with them. Just remember when things arent going well there will always be something good to come from it, that something good is the numerous opportunities for us to search and ask for help from others so we all can figure out a solution to all life's various storms that we find ourselves in.

Fantastic experience: I've had a great experience with Summit Health & Wellness so far! I've been a patient here for about 4 months. They've really worked with me to try different treatments to find something that works well for me! I also like that fact that they offer appointments over GoogleMeet since it allows me to have my appointments during my lunch at work or in the afternoon, so I don't have to take time off for visits. I'd also like to give a shoutout to Amber, the New Patient Coordinator, as she's been extremely helpful and friendly with all my questions and always answers my emails in a timely manner. They also understand sometimes email is a more comfortable form of communication for certain patients rather than phone calls, so if they give you a call, they'll always follow up with an email shortly after! Would recommend for sure!

Very easy to talk to and be honest with and EXTREMELY understanding. I would honestly recommend this to anyone out there looking for assistance with mental health and the treatment of it. Fantastic experience: My PA, Hanh, has been extremely kind to me over the course of my treatment. I have been with summit for almost 4 months, and every time I have an appointment I'm met with compassion and kindness. I cannot recommend them enough, especially with how delicate some of the work can be.

Fantastic experience: I felt very listened to and considered. The practitioner was very flexible when my video signal did not work well, and we switched to a phone call without much trouble. I was able to get treatment as soon as the next day following my appointment. I highly recommend Summit Health and APRN-PMHNP Rakowski to anyone in need of Mental Health Services! Several months later, and I'm still fully satisfied. Condition changes are discussed, medications adjusted, and mental health progresses well. Never treated like I'm drug seeking or anything in appropriate at all! So happy for such consistently great service!

Negative experience: Called to schedule an appointment with Lyndse Ashley and was told I owed $200 in missed appointment fees from 2022; I never missed an appointment and was a patient for over 4 years. I was also told that I would have to pay that amount before I could set up a new appointment. Money is more important than mental health to them, glad I'm not in crisis. Shameful.

Negative experience: I don't know what has happened to this place over the past 6 or so months but the quality care I used to receive here doesn't seem to exist anymore. I've been a patient with this clinic for 3 years. My last 2 appointments I haven't received the link on time or at all. I call and am told that my provider is already in their next appointment so I have to reschedule. Never had this problem before now. This is horrible for people dealing with mental health crisis. I expect more from people who work directly with patient care in mental and behavioral health.
