Fantastic experience: I went to the Classen Urgent Care on Thursday 12/5/24, which I had already an idea what was wrong with me, but just wanted to verify. No more had I filled out the paperwork, and they called me back . Dr. Dawn Lovins was very professional, and easy to talk with.

I’m only surprised that she didn’t suggest for me to be on a high blood pressure medication. My blood pressure was 189/140, which is extremely high. She did tell me that I need to get some much needed rest

Fantastic experience: The staff got me in and out to see a professional which was very thorough in her exam. They checked vitals, ask relevant questions and determined a plan of action. My chest was X-Rayed and found a congestion in my lungs. I was given meds which have worked extremely well. I am feeling much better. I recommend Classen Urgent Care!

Fantastic experience: My whole family comes to this office for urgent care. My son, fiancé and myself have always had a good experience at Classen Urgent Care, ya know, despite being sick. The women working at the front are always friendly and helpful. I have had all kinds of random questions since I received disability and I am between Medicaid and Medicare and they have always been patient with me. We never have to wait very long in the waiting area up front before we go back. Once we get to the back we see the nurse immediately, then the Dr very shortly after, even when the parking lot is full and it's clear they are busy. They will also give you the heads up when they are busy as well. If we have to get flu or covid tests the wait is a little longer but that is to be expected. Everytime we've brought my son they have been great with him, he's 5, autistic and can be weary of anyone touching him. They have always found ways of making him comfortable or letting me (mom) participate in whatever needs done for him. They make sure you get your doctors note and leave with everything you need. We have never recieved an unexpected bill from them and they even call and check on my son a couple days after I bring him in. I would highly recommend this urgent care.

Negative experience: This office waited 2 years to tell me I had a balance due and then cancelled my virtual appointment because it took them more than 5 minutes to call and explain the balance to me. Don't go here. They dont care about helping people, just scamming money out of people years late.

Fantastic experience: I had gone to Classen Urgent care because I had experience a swollen eye for 5 days. As soon as the doctor saw me, very quickly might I add, she figured out the problem and prescribed me some eye drops that reduced the swelled within hours.

Fantastic experience: I am traveling from out of town and they we very accommodating. I was greeted by friendly staff when I arrived, seen within 20 minutes of arrival, and they were quick with my diagnosis. I would use the facility again.

Negative experience: Please change your advertised hours if you are going to refuse to take patients after a certain time. I got there (after driving all the way from Moore) at 9:39 and was told they were not seeing anyone else. I came in with strep, just needed a rapid test and some antibiotics. As an ER nurse myself, I know it’s a quick in and out and not something I need to go to the ER for. Just extremely frustrating that you advertise being open during a time frame but that’s not the case. I’ve seen other reviews who have had the exact same complaint. Change your hours!!!

Fantastic experience: Classen Urgent Care in Norman is my go to when Im ill. Since they are open 7 days a week until 10pm, I can go on my time. The parking lot can be full and intimidating leaving you thinking that beint seen in under 3 hours or so would be impossible. But you enter anyway and are surprised at how empty the waiting room appears. You register and are even further surprised because you're called back in under 15-20 minutes. You are immediately assessed by a medical assistant. Most often, a medical provider enters with 10-20 depending if you were given viral tests. At max, I'd have to say I waited 20 minutes when I had tests for 4 different viral infections. Your medical provider is thorough and explains everything to you in a simple, concise manner. I love Classic Urgent Care in Norman. I could go on and on, but I invite you to try them for yourself. You'll agree with what I've shared here and have other praises of your own to sing about them after you visit.

Fantastic experience: Very professional from the receptionist who completed check-in thru the nurse/PA who took vitals & other information to the physician. The nurse/pa even successfully supportively convinced me to do the flu/covid swab. When she administered the injection, absolutely no comfort! The physician listened to my concerns, treated me with the utmost as to my symptoms as well as course of treatment. Since my 'primary' doc never has an appointment less than 3 weeks out, I have accessed the Urgent Care more often.

Fantastic experience: Our first visit. Needed quick attention for an infection. They were the only. Urgent Care in the area open late on a Friday night. Every single person we saw was top notch. Kind, attentive and efficient group. We agreed with diagnosis and treatment. The PA gave full info on follow up. Would recommend them gladly.

Positive experience: Be sure to check in after you fill out the online form they have you scan when you get there. I forgot to and had to wait an extra amount of time, but other than that it was a rather quick experience.

A bit of an insurance/ co-pay misunderstanding at front desk, but that was much more the fault of the insurance company than the front office staff. Overall a very positive experience.

Fantastic experience: I do not often write Google reviews, but I strongly recommend Classen Urgent Care. I walked in with an open gash in need of stitches. Staff was able to get me back to be seen quickly and was kind throughout the entire process. The stitching itself was as painless as can be and I felt well taken care of the whole time. I truly believe that the people who work here care!

Negative experience: Arrived at the urgent care at 9:45 PM. They close at 10:00 PM. I understand it was 15 min. before they close, & I hate the timing of things, but my husband’s condition had gotten worse after a coughing fit. But arriving to this urgent care 15 min before they close they were will turn you away. As they explained it they have to complete your care by 10:00 PM, not were open till 10:00Pm for customers. No one else was there. The receptionist & I assume nurse said if it’s a breathing problem you’ll probably have to go to the ER anyway, & you would just rack up a $2000 bill here & then we’d have to send you to the ER. Which is a line to persuade you to leave. We have insurance, so a $2000 bill from them would be quite unusual. I told them that well I thought you could listen to his lungs, potentially take a chest x-ray & prescribe an inhaler. The “nurse” said well that is one potential scenario, but we don’t know. That is true, you don’t know, but clearly who wants to have someone make medical decisions for your health when it is perfectly clear they don’t want to see you. I would strongly suggest you change your hours so your precious staff, can stop excepting patients at 9:00 so heaven forbid someone needs something they can get out of the office by 10:00. Odd you can go into any store or restaurant & if you get there before they close you can walk in & buy what you need, receive service, but not at this healthcare establishment. Clearly patient care & customer service is a conditional service, despite their advertised hours of operation. Pathetic & very self serving. Not patient centered care at all Follow up: Was seen by another urgent care, and my scenario was correct, doctor listened to lungs & prescribed an inhaler. Something your urgent care could have completed in less than 15 min & we would have been out of your office in time for you to clock out by 10:00. Pathetic care!

Negative experience: I waited for over an hour and never saw a doctor. They were not busy at all. I actually left and luckily got a refund but asking for that was hard since the front desk lady starting talking about me to another worker right in front of me! So unprofessional I won’t ever be back!!

Fantastic experience: This is the best Urgent care in town. The wait time is speedy, the doctors and staff are so pleasant and if you need meds, they always call it in immediately after your appt. No waiting at the pharmacy!! Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Staff was professional and courteous when I came into facility with torn skin on my arm. The PA cleaned the wound, dressed it and wrapped gauge around it for protection. He prescribed an oral antibiotic and an antibiotic cream.

Fantastic experience: Testing for COVID and the flu was quick and easy. Turns out I tested positive for COVID and the woman gave me recommendations for over-the-counter remedies that can help reduce my symptoms. Definitely will be coming back here if needed!

Positive experience: I was seen by a doctor very quickly. I received xrays and got the results right away. The doctor was very competent and understanding. I received a very high level of care, today, 8-24-24. Wish I could say the same when I came here two days ago.

Negative experience: horrible communication, nurses and dr. told me one thing and receptionist told me the opposite. receptionist also couldn’t find my results when nurse found them almost instantly. receptionist seemed to be unknowledgeable.

Fantastic experience: I have ben to Classen Urgent Care about 6 times over the years and itis the only place I will go in Norman. Nothing even compares. I get in quickly and they take care of me from beginning to follow up. Whether it is stitches, a strep test or anything else that you don't really need the ER for they have you covered. Why go to Norman regional and wait all day when you can go to CUC and be SEEN?

Fantastic experience: They're really nice here, which is refreshing compared to the one or two other urgent cares I've been to in the past. They helped diagnosis me of a UTI, and they made sure they did the right kind of testing to see if I'm anemic again or struggling with anything else while pregnant. Negative experience: Would give 0 stars if I could. Absolutely worst experience. The tech who started my IV was incompetent and would not communicate what he was doing, as well as completely busted the vein in both of my arms. I felt like a nuisance walking in an hour before they closed. It's sad that they could act the way they did seeing somebody in the state that I was in.

Negative experience: I’ve always had great experiences here. I was there a couple of weeks ago and had a very rude encounter with the front desk lady named Krystal. The other employees knew about it after. She said she was going to keep my payment info in file to charge for a balance we are waiting on insurance to re process. I did not sign the form and she said she could do it anyway. She only did this because no one was at the the front desk with her at the time. She was raisin g her voice where everyone in the waiting room could hear and I asked her to lower her tone. I talked to two staff members outside and they said she is not allowed to do this and this is not the first problem with her and for me to leave an honest review.

Fantastic experience: I have never had a bad experience at Classen Urgent Care. The wait isn't long. The nurses are friendly as well as the staff at check-in. And the doctors are top-notch. I used to use a different urgent care and was mostly dissatisfied every time. My sister told me about Classen Urgent Care, and I will never change. Thank you, Dr. Lovins for your care and concern for my health. I'm feeling much better!

Fantastic experience: I wish I knew about this place sooner. Super affordable and no appointments needed. I just walked in, and got my needs met same day and got prescribed meds right away that took care of my inflammation pain. I’m really happy that this place exists, especially for those that don’t have insurance and are on a budget and terrified of dropping thousands for a doctor’s visit. Highly recommend.
