Fantastic experience: After spending a week in the hospital, I’m so glad we chose Norman Regional! Every individual care person was kind and compassionate. The medical care I received was amazing!

Fantastic experience: Took great care of me, and made a very difficult time just a little more bearable for me. Very grateful to all the doctors and nurses, and especially Dr Khanda.

Negative experience: Had a traumatic birthing experience here I only had a few good nurses take care of me. The epidural was by far the worst pain I have ever felt and it felt like the anesthesiologist was digging on my back more on my left side I was sobbing. And she was rude My Dr was Dr cherry he was taking his kid to school and went to Moore while I was in active labor. I asked could someone else deliver my baby bc Dr Cherry was the worst Dr. He never made me feel understood or heard. I felt dumb asking him questions and he was sarcastic and rude. He would be short with me and I felt rushed at my appointments. When he came in he was telling me to push and when I told him it feels like I’m not doing much he told me he can’t push for me. Then I got taken to get an emergency C section and I never saw him again. They were not communicating much with me just telling me what to do and scaring me thru the process.I wouldn’t recommend Dr cherry to anybody. The hospital food was so disgusting. I couldn’t eat it. One of the lactation consultants was very rude to me made me feel like I was asking something wrong. the only really nice person to me was Sassy she was so sweet. And a couple other nurses maybe 5 of them Even the cleaning people where rude cleaning very loudly making all types of crazy sounds scaring babies. Don’t recommend this hospital at all.its sad I had my first baby here I would never come here again. My room was old and small felt crowded in there.

Fantastic experience: Sunday afternoon, came in and received outstanding service by all, Chelle, nurse Brent NP, Jeff nurse Kim, ekg tech Danielle, CT tech Rodney lab tech Professional, great bedside manners, and informative. Did all the testing and labs needed and left with an Rx and referrals. Thank you to everyone!

Fantastic experience: So I had my hysterectomy here, and my nurse, her name was Ashlee, blonde girl. I was with her from the morning, to when I got discharged, she was great! My IV I didn't even feel because she numbed the spot first. Made me as comfortable as she could. Was very nice and a great bedside manner, I want a nurse like her if and when I have to go to the dr. I was already nervous, but she answered every question that she could, and made me feel comfortable!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Norman regional hospital for cancer treatments, pet scans, CT scans. The team at Norman has been excellent! I appreciate their care, listening skills, empathy, and kindness.

Fantastic experience: It's taken me forever to post this but I had my first child back in February 2024 and the delivery nurses were INCREDIBLE. The room for delivery and recovery were fantastic. The staff was great, and honestly both my husband and I liked the food.

Fantastic experience: Very clean facility and professional staff

Negative experience: I was admitted to the observation unit last week and the nursing staff was not the best. My IV starting leakin overnight and it was obvious it was a bad site. She just retaped it. My machine for the IV continued to beep for 50 minutes for before my nurse came in to fix it. The few times I hit the call button they seemed annoyed. I will say I had one LPN nurse name Briana who was fantastic! She is going to be a great nurse to keep around!

Negative experience: I have called multiple times to the pharmacy everytime it’s time for them to answer the phone they hang up !!!

Negative experience: This is the worst hospital ever!! They've been seeing the same patient for the same issues for over a year!!!! And not one of the Dr's will have him placed in treatment to help him!!! He's a danger to himself and society yet they keep releasing him!!!

Negative experience: Terrible service, receptionist is disrespectful. No patients but ridiculous wait time. American health care is failing.

Negative experience: Update AGAIN: I broke my foot, came to the ER and they missed the fracture on the X-ray, sent me home with no pain meds or equipment with a sprain diagnosis…Several days later I got the X-ray report in the portal and had to go see ortho. In between, I called the er for directions and was given misinformation, including a nurse telling me it was just my pinky toe, not a big deal. It’s the metatarsal, long bone that connects my ankle to pinky toe. I suffered in pain and have been very inconvenienced because of negligence. Currently waiting on my grievance report. Update: The billing department is atrocious. They have kept my overpayment at a clinic and tried to move it to another balance that I’m waiting to pay until it is clarified with itemized receipts and review of my payment contract. I have not authorized this. I have explicitly stated it is unauthorized. This is fraud. They did not respond to most of my calls or emails. I have been asking for months, since my first statement, why there is still a balance when I had an OB payment plan fulfilled. I had to file a dispute with my bank because these previous charges have still not been explained or itemized Most of my labor and delivery experience was great! My labor nurse Emily on 12/5/23 was an angel and I’ll never forget her. However, there were no postpartum beds so we were not moved upstairs until 3 am (delivered 4pm). We had a very sleepless night after an already sleepless induction night, due to the moving upstairs in the middle of the night. baby taken for a bath at 3:30 am, lab and respiratory therapy coming in all before 6am (I don’t know why I needed to use an incentive spirometer at 5am after having a baby?! RT even said, oh you don’t need me) we were utterly exhausted and it wasn’t because of the baby. There were really loud noises coming from a water pipe or something too, I thought it was the construction but it wasn’t and it was in the middle of the night often. As first time parents we really had no idea what we were doing, but we had one nurse who showed us so much! Her name was Cindy. She is the only nurse who explained how to tell if diaper was wet, made sure baby was voiding, brought me nipple cream, showed us how to burp, helped my husband do skin to skin etc. Everyone else was just kinda in and out with Tylenol. No true complains, just wish there was more involvement or a dedicated staff member to go over some basics like swaddling if the nurses didn’t have time. I myself am a nurse and understand it can be hard to spend extra time in rooms but something so intricate as a newborn deserves the attention to make sure parents know how to meet babies needs. We had to ask how to swaddle- looking back I laugh but we just really didn’t know and as tired as we were we were not thinking straight.the food was awful. The fancy ob meal you get after a baby was very well done cheap steak.

Fantastic experience: Had my best friend Steven Marks in Hospiatl ICU for a week Novemer 3 - 7th 2015. The staff was amazing. I'm Steve I.C.E. person. The nurses explained evetything clearly. If I was neededing a little more explanation or had questions, they would stay and talk to me more about Steve's test and condition. They made me feel comfortable. The nursrs made me laugh and smile. Other hospitals I've been to in OKC are not that friendly. Plus the food is the best tasting ever compaired to other hospitals. I highly recommend Normwn Rgional to anyone looking for best doctors and staff. God bless everyone who works here: Staff, Nurses and Doctors.

Fantastic experience: Best hospital staff around. They seem to really care about their patients. I never feel like they're in a rush to get me out. ER waiting isn't very long. Hospital is clean. The only ER I will take my family too.

Fantastic experience: Daughter gave birth to my beautiful granddaughter. The hospital staff were great. The hospital was clean. I didn't get to visit the cafeteria but I was told it is huge. I will be sure to check it out should she deliver again there in the future. And finally the reason I have a 5 star... I was so confident in the staff and how they handled it all. I had no worries of the staff not being there. Thank you to all the nurses for seeing that my baby and the new baby were well cared for. It was tough to see her have so many complications but the staff was right on top of it to be sure that it did not get out of control. Great job! I was able to go back to the hotel each night knowing they were both well cared for.

Fantastic experience: Lakeside woman's hospital has nothing on this ER! I went in for an embarrassing out of control female reproductive issue. I was treated by all women staff. They went out of their way to help my nerves and discomfort. I was so relieved to have empathic and understanding attendees.

Fantastic experience: Although the ER experience took a long time, I felt like I was being well taken care of the whole time. Every person I dealt with was friendly, courteous, helpful, and understanding. Dr. Mantooth (if I recall her name correctly) was the most approachable and down-to-earth doctor I've ever met. They diagnosed my appendicitis methodically and thoroughly, and sent me swiftly to Norman Regional Hospital for my surgery. I wish I could've stayed at the HealthPlex, because my experience at Norman Regional was pathetic!

Fantastic experience: Im 38 and had a heart attach. From the time I arrived in the doors until the time I left going home I had nothing but top notch treatment. I will never go to another hospital. fast hands and fast thinking, saved my life. This group worked in perfect unison never missing a beat. could have been any more perfect than this crew. Fantastic experience: I drove in from Fort Worth, TX to visit my family in Moore. When I started unpacking I noticed that I forgot to pack my medications. I googled for a 24 hour emergency and found Norman Regional HealthPlex. Everyone was so professional and helpful! I was so thankful they could help me. Excellent care and exceptional service!

Fantastic experience: I had the best surgery unit staff! I was so terrified due to having a bad experience before at a different hospital. This group was absolutely incredible! I felt so safe and they made me feel like they really cared…Because they did! I feel blessed. Thank you for taking care of me!

Fantastic experience: I gave birth here in August and I had the best experience. All of the staff members were so kind. This was my first baby and they made sure the experience was so special. The nurses were so caring and made sure I was not in pain and knew all my options. After a long sleepless night trying to get my milk to come in, my night nurse held her for me so I could sleep. They even sent me a card in the mail after we left. This facility definitely has the best nurses!

Fantastic experience: My one year old was admitted here for RSV. I want to thank each and every nurse who showered my family with care from the moment we walked in. Her dr was Dr. Baker who was very kind also. I was running on fumes watching my poor angel go through this whole ordeal, they was constantly asking what they could do for me . So, thank you pediatrics ❤️

Fantastic experience: 10 out of 10. Would birth a baby here again. Nurses, amazing. Rooms, amazing. Epidural, amazing. Food, meh, but McDonalds is two seconds away. Still classically uncomfortable for new dads, but it is what it is.

Fantastic experience: I visited the Women's Health Group. All the ladies were thoughtful and very helpful, down to earth and just overall funny. They took very good care of me. The place is exceptionally clean... the bathrooms look 2b cleansed every 5 minutes...they r so clean. U will find human beings work there. Sorry fellows, this office is just 4 women... Gynecologist...

Fantastic experience: My wife had out patient surgery earlier this week. When we arrived at the hospital we were warmly greeted and they walked us down to the elevator. They gave us very clear instructions on how to get to the check in desk. The lady at the check in desk was very pleasant. The waiting area was very warm and inviting. When they came to get my wife to prepare her for surgery, they were very engaging. After surgery Dr. Tom Connally, explained to me that he had to do more work than anticipated and as a result my wife was being admitted as a precaution. He was very reassuring. A nurse came in and told me the room number my wife would be using and suggested I proceed to her room. She went on to explain when my wife is ready to leave recovery, she would be taken to her room. The nurses took such good care of my wife and ME! They were very kind and thirough.The doctor was the best! The nursing staff, the surgery staff, admitting, even the lady in the coffee bar were all wonderful. The hospital food was hot and tasty! I told our doctor, Norman Regional HealthPlex is the Ritz Carlton and Chick fil A of the medical industry. These people have heart! They know what their patients need and they go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. As a leader, and a former Chairman of the Board of another metro hospital, I realize this just didn’t happen. I want to also say “well done” to Richie Splitt, CEO of Norman Regional Hospital. I hope to shake your hand in the future.

Fantastic experience: I recently had surgery at the Healthplex and I could not be happier with my experience. From checking in to getting pre-op lab, to the surgery itself- everything was fantastic! Tabitha, who checked me in, Krisstina, who completed registration, Kristi and Janie, who were my nurses - all amazing, kind, understanding, etc. I had an amazing group of individuals who cared for me, and were wonderful with my mother while we were there. I was very moved when I received a note in the mail today, thanking me and hoping that I am on the mend - signed by my care team. NRHS, you guys are doing a great job! Thank you for a great experience from start to finish.

Fantastic experience: I'm so grateful to the team that worked on my hernia surgery today. All the nurses were so kind and made me feel so comfortable. They were friendly and reassuring and caring. Doctor John Chase was informative and they helped me to feel confident about the surgery. At first I was extremely scared and I just can't thank everyone enough for being so sweet. I'm home and healed. Thank you all so much ladies and doctor!

Fantastic experience: Had my hip replaced here. I'm so thankful for the friendly, thoughtful and caring staff. From check-in to surgery to rehabilitation, everyone made me feel cared for. Special thanks to Dr Maupin, nurses Jo, Robin all the assistants and the rehab staff.

Fantastic experience: I've received the most phenomenal, patient, and caring treatment at the Health Plex! Cannot say enough about all the teamwork they are exhibiting during an extremely trying time. I asked my nurse if I could maybe get a snack (thinking I'd get jello or something) and she came back with a snack box which was through the roof service in my opinion. Overall, I'll refer all my loved ones here from now on

Fantastic experience: My mom was in the hospital several times lately. I didn’t write down all the names of the nurses etc but she was in the Healthplex and they were all wonderful. She was also there as an outpatient and I want to compliment Tamara in Registration and Shonta in the Lab. Everyone was professional and kind!

Fantastic experience: This hospital staff went above and beyond for my terminally ill mother. The people working the ER took care of my family when they could have easily sent us away. There was no ICU beds to accomodate us and there was visitor limitations due to covid. The ER is not equipped or staffed with the things needed for near-terminal cancer patients. This ER staff helped us through the entire event by moving us around from room to room to give my mother the best care possible given the circumstances. We eventually were moved to a section of the hospital that was not traditionally used for end-of-life care. We were given amazing accomodations with a large room and no visitor restrictions for our party so we could have friends and family come to say goodbyes. We had nurses assigned specifically to my mother for entire shifts and even had some stay later than they were scheduled. This service was not only unexpected by us, but likely against some policies. We are forever greatful for this and it made my mother’s passing the most comfortable and peaceful it could have been. Because my mother did not want a traditional funeral service, we are having all flower and gift arrangements routed to all hospital patients and staff in memory of my mother. Thank you so much for showing love to my mother and our family.

Fantastic experience: My daughter has been in the NICU for over a week now and I'm very pleased with the care she's recieved. Granted there were times I was frustrated but that's only because that's my baby girl and watching her struggle was hard. Overall I am happy her stay and care.

Fantastic experience: They always do a great job when I go for my lab work!!!! No one likes needles or blood drawn but they make it a very comfortable experience. I would go no where else !!!!

Fantastic experience: The doctors and nurses here made my three day stay a breeze! Fantastic experience: My 3 year old was admitted yesterday for monitoring and oxygen assistance for having to upper respiratory viruses including Covid. The staff have all gone above and beyond for my boy to make him happy and comfortable. The first thing he asked for today was cheese pizza for breakfast. I didn’t think they’d be able to do it but they brought my baby a huge delicious baked cheese pizza at 8am!!!! He was so happy!!! I am so thankful for the kindness and hospitality here. He’s a strong willed boy and not at all lightweight so he’ll put up a fight from time to go ke but he’s been the best patient and they have been so patient and kind with him.

Fantastic experience: The staff is amazing! They are super kind people who put the patients first it's the only hospital I'll go to around here because they are just unmatched. I've been coming here since the year it opened and haven't had a bad visit once!

Fantastic experience: Norman Regional Healthplex and Norman Regional in Moore saved my daughter's life after her ectopic pregnancy ruptured and caused severe internal bleeding! Fantastic experience: I recently delivered my last baby via c-section here. My entire experience was great. Every nurse, doctor, anesthesiologist, etc. that I dealt with were professional, helpful, and kind. If I planned to have more children I would 100% deliver here again

Fantastic experience: I had both of my children here, and had an amazing experience both times. The nurses and the doctors were incredibly helpful, and answered any questions we had. One of my children was hospitalized twice, once for jaundice and once for RSV for 5-6 days. The respiratory therapists, nurses, doctors, and anyone else we encountered were kind and very helpful. Dr. Jessica Hinojosa delivered my second, and we absolutely loved her.

Fantastic experience: I love this place! I have only been twice for giving birth to my beautiful boys and they were awesome!! I loved my nurse for labor, I loved the area I was in for after labor for 48 hours, the women were so sweet, I felt so taken care of and my boys were well taken care of. I recommend this place to any expecting mothers! And the food was awesome, chocolate cake for every meal (:

Fantastic experience: I had my daughter here and it was the best hospital experience I’ve ever had. They made sure I was well taken care of and the nurses really made me feel comfortable. I’m expecting my son in May and I will have him here too. Highly recommended for any mother who isn’t sure where to go.

Fantastic experience: My mother was there from 9-20-18 to 9-24-18 and as rough as the event was on her the staff was absolutly hands down the BEST in any hospital we have EVER dealt with. Fantastic experience: I gave birth to my premature twins here, and my go to for emergencies for myself and my family. The people are always amazing, helpful, patient and extremely caring. They're always quick to help and get me answers. The nurses, doctors, EMT, everyone make this hopsital the best. I've never had a bad experience. Always friendly and very clean. Extremely appreciative for this hopsital and it's amazing team!

Fantastic experience: Delivered both babies here with great services. Everytime I had to come in to OB triage the nurses were great! I love the educational classes offered with a provided tour of the facility. Very clean and the cafeteria food was really good surprisingly! I had to come to the ER for when I had my miscarriage and for the stomach flu during my pregnancy to receive fluids. The ER staff were empathetic and supportive. In addition to my countless of experiences with OB triage, labor and delivery, surgery with D&C...I’ve had to use their lab for bloodwork and tests, their staff is very nice!

Fantastic experience: Thank you Wesley! This EMT trained assistant at Norman HealthPlex Hospital had the best, best side manner I have ever seen in a health professional. The doctors and nurses were wonderful but he just stood out as being one of the most caring and present person during our experience yesterday. He provided my son with a splint and a positive attitude after he had his scooter accident. Thank you so much!

Fantastic experience: After our visit to the emergency room I can truly say that Dr. Porter and Dr. Rice both genuinely cared about what we were facing. They both took time to answer all of our questions and acknowledge both my husband and I’s concerns. They showed sincere care and respect for us both. We were incredibly grateful for the positive experience at Norman Regional. They exceeded our hopes and expectations.

Fantastic experience: I recenty had a planned surgery at the Healthplex of Norman specifically in the Women’s and Children’s Hospital. I and my Family who came to visit me during my one night stay could NOT have been more impressed. All the staff; doctors, nurses and receptionists that I dealt With prior to and on the day of my surgery and on our way out treated me and my family dignity, kindness, respect and as if we were the only people to care for. I never had to wait for help and even if the alert button was pushed by accident always a nurse would happily come in and check up with a smile and kinds words. It was quiet, clean and peaceful, with exceptional care. I am from Las Vegas, NV but have lived here for 8 years, and my sis came out to be with me for this surgery, and she was in awe of how exceptional and nice everything is (benefits of small town small city life) she said she had never been in such a nice hospital that was so peaceful and clean. The hospitals in Las Vegas are over crowded and employees overworked. Thankful for Healthplex of Norman! You should be proud or your team:) PS. If you gotta be sick that is the place to ‘be’...

Fantastic experience: I've been to the Healthplex twice for scans. I could be happier with everyone that I encountered. Everyone was very pleasant and good at their jobs. Really make you feel at ease. Jonathan did my heart scan. He is awesome, so friendly and really knows what he is doing. I'd also like to say that the facility is very clean and I've never had a long wait time. The man at the registration desk is also particularly nice. Yes, I recommend the the Healthplex.

Fantastic experience: We spent 5 weeks here on 5th floor, after a heart valve replacement and everyone was awesome!!! I can't say enough good things about the nursing staff, both day and night!! The doctors were all fantastic too. The food in the cafeteria is very good also!!

Fantastic experience: I have been to the emergency room, as well as had an operation, and brief hospital stay at this hospital. I have also had family that have been here for many reasons and we have all had the same great experience. The nurses and other staff are very friendly, professional, and kind. The facility itself is very modern, clean and comfortable. The food they have in the cafeteria for both patients and visitors is actually pretty good! While no one wants to have to be in the hospital this one is a great one. They treat you like you matter and your feelings and concerns are important to them. We would highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: We came here on a Tuesday and had an unexpected c section and everything went amazing! All of the nurses and operating crew were so nice and helpful and explained everything they were doing. We didn't have any problems with anyone. Our babies went to the nicu right after and we got to see them as much as possible and got to feed and hold them when we wanted to. This place is completely wonderful!

Fantastic experience: My wife gave birth to both our daughters here. One in 2013 and one this last Monday! We are being discharged today, but I will miss the 5 star service this place renders. The nurses are fantastic along with the pediatrician. We strongly recommend Dr. Jimmerson and The Norman Regional Health Plex!!

Fantastic experience: I had a hysterectomy here back in 2014. Nurses were great. My pain management was great. I kept asking for warm blankets to put over the incision and they provided these anytime I asked. Dr. Hinojosa is an excellent physician. My three days here were as comfortable as they could possibly be in a hospital.

Fantastic experience: Every Aspect of our stay at the Norman Healthplex was 10 star! From the moment you walk in the door your treated as if you are their own family and the it is very important that you are taken care now. we never met one person their that was not willing to go out of their way to help us and took time to explain what was going on and why they would be doing this or that " To the Nurses on the 4th floor You are the very best Nurses I have Ever Met! "Thank You so Much for turning a very scary time in my family's life around we all felt like you had this ! and the Dr.'s are just outstanding! thank you all for taking such Great Care of our mother!
