Negative experience: Worked here for 3 months and still can’t believe it was that long. Wish I could’ve stayed but as the weeks past, some staff personal business kept spreading including mines. It was so bad I start feeling embarrassed coming to work, that’s when I said to myself it’s time to go. The facility is very nice and clean, but if some of the so called LVNs and the DSD was replaced with professionals, I guarantee you none of the CNAs, even some LVNs wouldn’t quit so soon. Although I had to find another job, I felt relieved from drama & humiliation. The Administrator & DON must realize that the gossip that goes on, would really have you short on employees

Fantastic experience: My mom was sent here for 3 weeks for rehab, after having a stroke. The care was exceptional from the nursing staff to the physical therapist team and the administrators! The nurses kept my mom clean and she was fed 3 meals a day. My family and I were very pleased with the outstanding care she received. THANK YOU ALL!!

Fantastic experience: This is a great nursing facility I took my internship here for my CNA. The staff and the CNA are really helpful and accommodating. I learned all about the resident feeding and changing and learning all the skills I need for the real world. I can’t wait to become a nurse and see what the future has in store for me. Norwalk Meadows is the best. 10/10 GREAT FACILITY.

Negative experience: The people posting nice things about this place must work there or are relatives of the employees. They are very neglectful to the sub acute patients. Give them medicine that is not needed. When family ask what medicine is being given to them. They reply with I don't know you have to ask the doctor. But they are the ones who give the patient the medicine. When you go speak to the charge nurse the" big lady" she refuses to tell you. Negative experience: They are very neglectful and stupid they ignore machines give patients wrong meds it's like they experiment on patients who can't speak i believe my sister passed cause there neglectfulness in the charge RN real big women don't know her name is very rude and unprofessional must have got her training in another country

Positive experience: My son is a sub-acute resident since 2016 , Since, we’ve encountered a huge transition of staffing from administrative , social services, etc etc. And yet we’ve never had a situation or a complaint that wasn’t addressed on timely and professional matter, until the Covid pandemic..even through those very rough 2years visiting via tablet and window … I’m pleased to have been at Norwalk Meadows facility rather any other facility..from the stories I heard. Norwalk M. continues to be a 4 Star in patient care ALTHOUGH they can do a much better job with the Sub-acute bed bound residents by providing them OUTDOOR activities even with Covid outbreaks… Norwalk has front-lawn and patio space to keep residents more than the required protocol 6 feet distance . I know Norwalk M. Can be a 8 Star facility if they just dedicate more effort With Sub-acute residents! Thank you Norwalk Meadows for all your hard work ????????????????

Fantastic experience: My mother had a surgery on her hip and needed some therapy. I was so pleased to the care she was given. Staff was very attentive to my mother’s needs. She can be difficult at times but they were very patient with her. I was nervous at first putting my mom at a facility but Erika reassured me that she will be well taken care of. She also introduce me to Imelda their DON and she was very kind, made me more at ease after talking to her. It really does make a difference when they take time and make sure that all the questions I had were answered. I can’t thank them enough for the improvements my mom made after her surgery. I would also like to thank Tanya for answering my calls when I had questions in regards to my insurance and Eileen for making sure that my mom is ok and happy before we left the facility. I can’t thank them enough for all the hard work they do in keeping this facility togethI would definitely recommend this facility to my family and friends.
