Rocky Mountain Spine & Sport Physical Therapy Arvada

Negative experience: Went twice; my insurance was billed $800+, and the 20-something "PT" talked the whole time and then told me she was quitting. I asked for follow up exercise instructions that she said she was going to give me, but she blew me off. Assumably because she was quitting. Very unprofessional.

Negative experience: It started out well and I was given a program to work on with their therapist but over the next week or two the support became lackluster. Last discussion was with them to set up new appointments - they haven't called me so assume they've dropped me as a client. Disappointing as I'm a returning customer and last time was good.

Fantastic experience: I went in with leg and back pain last year, being unsure if PT would remedy my problems as I had never done it before other than a targeted injury rehab. I worked with Dr Syme, and I'm incredibly happy to share that not only did she help address my issues while under her care, she set me up for success to keep them in check on my own. She tailored the sessions and exercises to my ability and was a joy to work with. She made it easy to understand what the exercises were doing and how they would help. I cannot recommend her, and RMSS, enough! I hope I don't have to return but if I do, I will be revisiting here.

Fantastic experience: Couldn’t recommend this place enough! The staff is friendly and super supportive, and really knows what they’re doing. After suffering from sciatic nerve pain on and off my entire life, I decided to do something about it and am so glad I did. Within a month I was feeling so much better and now have no pain at all (and I even have a list of exercises to do just in case!). Physical therapy is so worth it, wish I’d have realized this sooner.

Fantastic experience: I have to give five stars for my PT sessions with Robbie at RMSS. I really appreciated how he listened each week to my improvement or lack of improvement. He would introduce new exercises based on my issue. After 19 sessions to increase the strength in my knee from meniscus scope surgery I met my goal of getting back on the tennis court with the bonus of winning my first match with no pain! The added bonus is a camaraderie among the staff which flows over to the patients so you feel you are among friends. If I need any PT in the future, I’ll be back. Mitzi

Fantastic experience: I just completed 12 PT sessions for recurring shoulder injury with therapist Robbie Meyer. This is my 1st experience with Rocky Mountain Spine & Sport and was very pleased with the results. When compared to past physical therapy experiences Rocky Mountain seem to achieve faster & better results, in addition the team at the Arvada location were just fun to be around. I definitely recommend Rocky Mountain Spine & Sport Arvada location!

Fantastic experience: My doctor suggested Spine and Sport for my rehab. I was glad he did and was impressed with their work ethic. Robbie was knowledgeable, identified my injury and needs, and set up a program that addressed all areas. Spine and Sport physical therapists were very friendly and welcoming. I could see that all three therapists enjoyed their job, each other and provided high quality patient care.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had a great experience with RMSS. After years of seeing other PTs and chiropractors to figure out what was wrong with my back, Robbie was the first one who took the time to do an extremely thorough evaluation and really try to understand what was going on. From day one, I truly felt like he was fully invested in getting me better! And the atmosphere in this place is wonderful; I genuinely look forward to my visits.

Fantastic experience: Years ago I was told “your therapy is done. Bye,” by a therapist in a different city. The truth is, they could not find my issue so they sent me away. Ever had a medical professional do that to you? I am certain this will never happen at Rocky Mtn Spine & Sport, as they are staffed with professionals that are PhD’s in their field, and yes- thankfully, they did find what my issue is. I recommend this facility wholeheartedly.

Fantastic experience: I am a newbie to physical therapy, so far only two weeks of work done. I learn something new about myself and how physical therapy works every session. All I need to do is ask and Robbie, my therapist answers all my questions. At one of my sessions he showed me the skeleton and muscle model of the shoulder, and explained the problem I am having and the plans going forward. I work hard at my sessions, but at Rocky Mountain Sport and Spine I have benefited greatly and had a good experience.

Fantastic experience: I came in with a knee injury. Robbie worked with me 2x a week to strengthen the calf & thigh muscles and correct the problem within a couple of months. Very happy with the results. I’m now working out at the gym to maintain what we achieved!

Fantastic experience: The team at Rocky Mountain Spine & Sport is awesome. I went for help with a pinched nerve in my back and very tight legs which caused pain in my kneess. They were able to relieve all pain with the pinched nerve and greatly reduced the tightness in my legs to relieve the knee pain. They are also a great and fun group. I am very thankful I found them. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Professional and fun environment! Ashley is an incredible physical therapist! I sustained a shoulder injury from skiing this year and she was able to target the problem area as I stumbled over how to describe what triggers the pain. No X-rays or scans were needed for my particular injury, so I was very impressed with her knowledge in diagnosing the injury and creating a plan towards health. I chose to pay out of pocket for my physical therapy visits due to my health insurance plan having a high copay for specialty visits. I’ve been an athlete majority of my life and was often discouraged by the poor coverage or limited visits that health insurance would allow. There was so much freedom in being a cash patient and working on specific plans with Ashley to make me a stronger athlete. Kudos to her for learning about rock climbing to help implement exercises that would coincide with my specific sport.

Fantastic experience: PT Review The love that is put in to this place is out standing. No place could ever care as much as this one. One the very first day I walk into Sport & Spine I was so nervous, but everyone there made me feel so welcome. Ryan was so amazing, the connection that he makes with his patients is unreal. I tore my ACL when I came in and Ryan made the place feel so safe by giving me fun games that helped me improve. Robbie is so helpful and kind, so if you’re having a rough day Robbie will always make you feel better. Ashly is tough on the outside but once you get to know her she she is really fun to talk to. And Addie always makes sure you are taken care of. If you are looking for a place to help you heal, this place will 100% do it! I learn a valuable lesson that. “Webbles wobble, but they don’t fall down” (Robbie 2023).

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Rocky Mountain PT. I had bursitis of the right shoulder and swinging a golf club was painful. We started with simple stretching in January which led to more strengthening exercises. By end of February I was pretty much pain free and just today was my last session, ready for this years golf season. I’m delighted with the results and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Fantastic experience: My time at RM Spine & Sport in Arvada was excellent! Robbie's knowledge, patience, and love for his career certainly showed during my PT sessions. Always asking the important questions (and sometimes the not so important questions - like... Best Disney movie) was the key to the improvement in my shoulder. Actually, the camaraderie and conversations between all of the staff and patients always meant for a fun PT session. I highly recommend this location, and Robbie, for any PT needs you might have.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Rocky Mountain Spine & Sport (Arvada), this an amazing place to get better. Tucked away in a strip mall, I was quite surprised by the facility and the team that work here. Having gone through two previous rehabs, I walked in expecting a long wait followed by a cursory introduction and an aide who helps perform most of the exercises. I was pleasantly surprised, this facility is very clean and although small, there is sufficient space and equipment for 3 therapists. My first appointment was with Ryan, he listened, asked questions and understood why I came and what I was expecting. I have lower back issues and would much rather spend my time strengthening my back and core than undergoing back surgery. Ryan quickly came up with a series of exercises that I performed there and helped me think of ways to do equivalent exercises at home. I have been going for some time now and Ryan continues to come up with new and increasingly difficult exercises that imitate ‘real world’ activities. I immediately realized what a special place this is. The team working here are all extremely well trained and knowledgeable, but they really like each other and like what they do! You can see that Ryan, Ashley, Robbie and Addie all care for their clients, and for each other. Frequently, there are conversations going on between the staff and the clients, everyone is included. You are still expected to put in the effort, but why not enjoy it in a fun and comforting environment; this is a fun place to get better!

Fantastic experience: I followed my Grandma to Rocky Mountain Spine and Sport after an accident I had in February and my brother followed a while after with yet another accident. My accidental-prone family aside, you will never be able to find a better community than you find here. My family and I always feel comfortable no matter which employee is working with us. We always experience a perfect balance of challenge and rest and have found a significant amount of growth in all of our journeys. We would absolutely recommend this as a number one physical therapy option no matter the scenario.
