Fantastic experience: Very satisfied with the service Doctor explains everything very well

Negative experience: My wife had a zoom tele med appointment at 4:30 P.M. she tried early and waited. She was informed they would be running 15 minutes late and was given a new zoom link, which she accessed right away and waited. After an hour later we check the kaiser app and see she was marked as a no show. We called and rescheduled but were not satisfied with th excuse and lack of communication. Hopefully this does not occur again as we were waiting for this appointment. We marked a no show after 5:20 and as you can see we were waiting before that time.

Fantastic experience: Fast and pleasant and organized. Best Kaiser ever. Blood test, urine, nurse, BP, flu, COVID all in 45 minutes. Nice

Negative experience: Since my wonderful primary left, Dr. Esquenazi, Kaiser has been nothing but a nightmare.. New Dr. Don't listen at all to us patients. Rush us out of the exam room with in 10 minutes. Perform expensive diagnostic test that to this day I haven't recieved the results by any Dr. I had to view it my self & had a vascular tec ( friend) review the results with me. All their Pharmacies have been storing my 1 medication wrong that I made the pharmacist call Abbie labs. Who verified the medication was being stored improperly. This drug has been out since 2012 & it's been stored & dispensed wrong all that time getting us patients sick. If your primary can't see you your told to go to ED but they also never do anything but refer you back to your primary. So you end up bounce back & forth from ED to your primary. Kaiser claims to be full staffed but have several sections of there ED unused do to lack of staffing & their Dermatology dept. Only has 4 doctors. Their full staff alright do to they only allow limited positions. And we have to wait 6 weeks or more just to get an appointment let alone a answer for a email response from your Dr. Terrible service & I work in healthcare. If you file a complaint with membership forget it. They cover for all their doctors & always messup your complaint & turn it into something you never said.

Fantastic experience: The staff is what makes me the happiest. Most especially the lab, Krystal & Noreen (now at San Marcos). Also Dr taylor and her LVN, assistant, and the front desk staff. Too long a wait for single stall bathroom for women. There’s a pediatric clinic there so moms take a while in bathroom. I was in line twice and members remarked each time that one stall was not enough. Even if toilet area has a stall the door doesn’t need locking. Then moms can go in and to use diaper changing area and gals could still use the toilet. Otherwise a separate baby changing area that dads and moms could use.

Positive experience: Radiologist was hungover last visit so I wrote a review regarding his hygiene, yet didn’t disclose the alcohol Oder that was unbelievable! Then today he was so rude and aggressive it was alarming!!!! He even came out behind me to bully me I. Front of the front desk employees, unbelievable! Then he came back out to bully me again as if he was making a statement! He only proved I was accurate about his aggression towards me! This man has anger issues! He aggressively bullied me! Shamefully!

Negative experience: always too quick of a visit always rushing through. The Doc was good but there is no preventive approach, no holistic wellbeing. People come when they have pain and might be too late. Such poor service for such expensive service. It took me a year to book a colonoscopy because there is no waiting list service you just have to keep trying till you get lucky. They do not do any in person follow up if you open a grievance. This is across insurances I am sure, it is a broken profit driven system but Kaiser only excels in gate keeping and misdiagnosis.

Negative experience: Cheers and five stars to the PEOPLE at Kaiser- across the board, staff, pharmacists and doctors (shout out to Dr. Do!) are fantastic. H O W E V E R . . . Dealing with the pharacy system, particularly at the Oceanside location, is an experience akin to cutting a lawn with a pair of scissors. Typical experience: 1. Doctor writes script 2. I go on to the KP app, and don't see the RX 3. I call the pharmacy. Of course, you can't call the pharmacy directly, you have to use an answering service that is understaffed and has an average wait time of 30 minutes. I do no exagerate. 4. I speak with the answering service for the pharmacy, who find that the RX is in fact in the system but there is no way for me to initiate the fill, so the call service person does this for me. What is the black hole that these scripts fall down? Again, people=great. System=what the heck?

Negative experience: Very expensive price compared to other pharmacies. Got my medicine for 30 days although using kaiser card insurance in a price of 90 days of any other pharmacies without having insurance! That’s ripoff! Personally I won’t use them and won’t recommend them to anybody

Fantastic experience: After having had Kaiser for many years I can say with certainty that the Oceanside location is one of the best in San Diego. Everyone I have interacted with at this location is thoughtful and considerate. I’d like to also highlight my primary: Dr. Sprott is incredibly kind, radiates positive energy, is understanding and actually listens to you! This is the first time I’ve had the chance to meet her and I couldn’t be happier with my visit. She made me want to come back for an annual physical (something I’ve been putting off) Thank you for the memorable experience!

Fantastic experience: Since the advent of the pandemic, I have been leery of walking into any medical facility. As a result, I had put off getting labs done, getting the shingles shot, etc. My doctor put in a request with the nurses’ clinic to get me back up to date. The appointment (s) were scheduled to my availability. I was able to check in remotely (at home) and through my phone. I was in and out (including lab work, retinal eye check, shots) and home in under an hour! Overall, it was an excellent experience!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Trutanic is very caring and understanding. She makes me feel comfortable and is non-judge-mental the type of person you could talk to about anything. She is patient and courteous. She always goes over my medication and helps me understand what I need to do for my health. She’s an excellent doctor. Definitely one of the best I’ve seen at Kaiser.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit to the Oceanside facility, since moving to the area recently, causing me to find a new doctor. I have absolutely nothing but positives to say about the entire experience. All staff from checking in, to the nurses, to my new primary care doctor, Dr. Berger, we’re personable, helpful, respectful and caring. Very happy with my new medical facility, and care!

Every body I met today : the receptionists , nurses and especially the pharmacist were super nice ! They were willing to answer my questions , willing to help...Over their masks, I could see friendly smiles in their eyes... Thanks a lot , I am very happy about my visit .

Fantastic experience: I live in Los Angeles and I go to Kaiser in Los Angeles. I always thought the LA pharmacists were “Okay” in terms of some of them smile, and say thank u and have a good day. (My bar of expectations were very low.) I have been living in the area for the last 6 months. The pharmacy staff and staff at the front of the door, were so friendly that I thought I saw them on a good day. After going 1-2 times a month for the past 6 months, I cannot describe how impressed how friendly and helpful everyone is! Thank you staff at Oceanside Kaiser on Rocky Point!

Fantastic experience: I have always had great medical service at this Kaiser facility. In fact, all of the experiences that I have had with Kaiser's doctors, nurses, technicians and the check-in people have been very positive. Kaiser's website is only so-so, and the company has some pretty lame policies as far as making appointments online and getting through on phone lines for certain departments can be miserable. But once you are in contact with the actual medical staff it is delightful.

Fantastic experience: I'm coming from the Normandie location when I lived in San Pedro, so this location is very uncrowded. I enjoy the extra assistance I'm now getting from nurse Cindy, whereas I've never received help before. Fantastic! Thanks for this! The facility & my newish doctor & nurses are great here. I've lived here for a year now, & enjoying everything, especially this facility & personnel. Thank you to all. It's a pleasure for dealing with my issues with the help I'm getting. A great facility is my lucky find!

Fantastic experience: Have had great experiences here for myself and now for my daughter. I like how the doctors take time to really listen. I had to switch to a different insurance because of my job and my first appointment they weren't listening to me and tried throwing all kinds of prescriptions at me. I am switching back to Kaiser and can't wait. My daughter still has Kaiser and I'm so glad.

I have come to this location many times to bring my aunt and grandmother. My Grandmother won't go anywhere else for her information. The location is clean and spacious. Overall I have to give this location five stars. Have never had an issue here.

Fantastic experience: Last doctor I had was 8 years ago in high school, so it’s been awhile for me. All I needed done was a standard checkup/physical. Reception was super helpful being a first time patient with a zero copay (thanks Kaiser medical insurance). My nurse took me in who was just absolutely pleasant, answered all questions I had. Doctor I had seen was extremely attentive with the prescriptions needed for my asthma. She was very understanding and gave very helpful advice if I needed anything. Prescriptions filled within that same hour too? Geeze it doesn’t get much easier than that. Facility is very nice, kept up with, and CLEAN. I was very pleased with being in and out in 60 minutes. Also helps to have the place so close to my residence.

Fantastic experience: Been with Kaiser 35 yrs. the best. This is my favorite location. When they were building the solar shade structures they offered free valet service to accommodate the slim parking. Great parking now. Fast service and always the BEST staff in every department. Good Job Kaiser. That’s how you do healthcare.

Fantastic experience: This place looks very new. They have a pharmacy right inside so you can order your prescriptions after your appointment. They also deliver any prescriptions to your home! The doctor I saw has been very helpful and friendly.
