Fantastic experience: My husband fell down the stairs and severed the tendons in BOTH his legs. He had patellar/quadriceps tendon repair. He chose Nottingham Health and Rehabilitation Hospital so he could learn to walk again. The staff is beyond phenomenal. In particular, a shout out goes to the following for exceptional care: Andrew, PT Mike, PT Brett, OT These men became our “family” and without a doubt, they are all skilled, compassionate and ready to help you become the best you can be. Waste no more time in your search for the best rehabilitation facility in the KC area.

Fantastic experience: I’m grateful to the staff who helped me accomplish what I came in for in February. I haven’t walked in several months. Nottingham provides excellent care. My room feels like home.I have nice size bathroom and shower. If I could give all the staff 10’s instead of 5’s I would. Kudos to Mike and the the in the aide of walking. Finally I walked for the first time in months. This shout goes out to all the people who I made friends with Dismus, Nancy, Tony, Alexis, Gladys, Annette, Nate, and Ashley l am not very good with names so if spelled wrong. I’m sorry if I forgot your name. Kudos to the nurses and CNA’s who have so much compassion for the patients. I recommend this rehab program to everyone.The chefs fixed whatever we wanted kudos to all the chefs.

Fantastic experience: My Grandma came to Nottingham first for rehab, then a little later as a resident. We are so happy with the facility and with her care. Everyone is so kind and attentive and they work so well with Hospice to make sure my Grandma gets the best care and keeps her as comfortable as possible. Thank you so much for helping us through this difficult time, we appreciate all of you! A special shout out to Alix, Riley, and Mossi. They always go above and beyond every time. Fantastic experience: Our good friend of over 54 years is at Nottingham for the second time and she is receiving the best of care, OT & PT. Everyone is so sweet and caring that works there from the receptionist, office personnel Dr.s, nurses, aids, kitchen staff and housekeeping. Thank you all for her wonderful care.

Negative experience: While the facility is newer looking and nicer, the communication between social work, therapy, and medical staff is poor. While Chelsea from social work and the admin Bre were very kind, we did not receive the support that was promised (by the admission staff) and needed. Orders from the hospital, including crucial labs, were overlooked until a follow up physician from an outside facility noted the error. My family member felt condescended and ridiculed by the physical therapist working with him when he was struggling initially. I was rarely able to get someone to answer the phone when attempting to reach nursing staff for updates, especially on weekends. My family member had a fall in his bathroom, which no one notified us of. Additionally concerning is that the facility promised assistance with discharge regardless of where my family member would be discharging when the time came and promised to have conversations about higher levels of care if needed. This was not the case at all. The support from therapy staff, directors and social work was lacking. Our concerns were not heard when it came time for my family member to discharge and we were condescended by the rehab director who stated “he can open a can of chili and heat it up” when I asked if meal preparation could be safely and independently completed. My family member was re-admitted to the hospital within 2 weeks of being discharged home because our concerns were ignored, our family member was not safe or independent in caring for themself and we were not supported.

Fantastic experience: I gave Nottingham 5 stars, but wish I could give them more! I found companionship, wonderful care and safety within this facility. The room was very comfortable and felt like home. The staff is well-trained, equipped to care for oldies like me and always ready to be of help. My care team always worked together for my best interest and needs. The healthy food menu offered many choices and was absolutely scrumptious! Fantastic experience: My mother is in skilled care here. The staff is so wonderful and caring with my her. The facility is clean and comfortable. They have frequent activities for the residents.

Fantastic experience: Nottingham has been a great new home for my 94 year old mom! They create a wonderful home-like atmosphere. A wonderful and positive attitude is felt from all staff members.

Fantastic experience: We have worked with Nottingham a lot, and appreciate how compassionate the staff are. Today, charge nurse Fedina worked with me to get a patient admitted and comfortable! She was so nice, and positive and really put an anxious family at ease!

Positive experience: Awesome is too strong a word. The only other choice given was "disappointing", which was not accurate. It was fine. Easy in and out, clean, etc.

Fantastic experience: Our family member is enjoying her room she has good staff that meet her needs and says the food is really good. Would recommend as they make sure her health needs are met.

Fantastic experience: Our family have had nothing but positive from day one, my mother's health and well being was addressed by very well trained staff members. She gets far more care than we had thought possible. Above and beyond in all aspects. A very good place!!

Fantastic experience: Amanda and James on the Holaday hall are amazing

Positive experience: My father was in rehab for 3 weeks. We have used several other facilities in Olathe. The difference—the nursing and assistant staff. The staff was great. James the nurse was the best we have ever had in a rehab facility. The nursing and assistant staff are out in the open. They not hidden in “offices” where they cannot be found. They also seemed to have enough staff unlike other places. You might have to wait for assistance like any other place, BUT you could always find staff unlike other places where there seemed to be no one anywhere. The building itself is ok. It could use updating, but is ok

Fantastic experience: After knee surgery in April, I selected to have rehab at Nottingham Health and Rehabilitation in Olathe, KS. I had the terrible misfortune of enduring in-patient stays at 2 horrible "rehabs" within the past few years. Nottingham completely destroyed my dislike of rehabs! The facility was wonderful! Clean, beautifully decorated and maintained - and it smelled great! Freshly prepared meals of your choice by Gala, Mona and Mel were delicious and varied; the chefs there have a secret ingredient - TLC! I believe all the professionals at Nottingham share this abundance of TLC! The RNs: Katie, Virdina, Melissa, Veronica and Rachel are exactly what one hopes for in a Nurse. CNAs -- Maureen - her smile is pure joy and John - what can I say?? I MISS YOU, John!! Your sense of humor made my day; your work ethic impressed me greatly. Thank you, Mr. N! OT/PT - Brett, Andrew, Heather and Mike -- what a great team! What a HOOT! Housekeeping - Cindy, Andy and Jay - smiles abound when any of this trio comes around! Thank each of you mentioned here and all the others for making Nottingham a healing home away from home for me. If I ever need rehab again - my only choice will be Nottingham. ☆☆☆☆☆

Fantastic experience: After visiting several Rehab facilities in search of a safe, clean & comfortable environment for my mom, Carolyn Burks, I found Nottingham. The staff was great. Michelle, Bernard, Rose, Alex & Virdina ( just to name a few) provided the best care I could have asked for. My mother had a stroke and needed physical therapy and extensive care. Without hesitation, Nottingham accepted her and started her therapy immediately. The staff met with me often to discuss her progress. I will always remember how much relief this brought to us during this difficult time. Unfortunately, after being released from Notgingham & going back home, my mother transitioned on September 17, 2021 after struggling with her complications from the stroke and many other health problems. But Nottingham did all they could to help us pull through. Im forever thankful.

Fantastic experience: Nottingham Health and Rehab went above and beyond to care for my dad! He might of been the most difficult resident/patient they have ever had and he truly received 5 star care! The peace of mind I had that he was treated with respect and dignity was a much needed blessing for me at that time. I am forever grateful and appreciative to the dedicated staff that I personally feel are angels on earth!!!

Fantastic experience: Being here in Nottingham has truly helped me, I first came here unable to do anything for myself and didn't think I was going to be able to walk again and my therapist really supported me and went the extra mile to make sure I could walk again. All of the staff is wonderful here.

Positive experience: I have been in 5 different rehabs and Nottingham is the best, everyone seems to take care of things around here very well and everyone here takes good care of the patients. It doesn't bother any employees to help and it's the little things that matter the most, I couldn't ask for anything better. The therapist are so amazing!

Fantastic experience: My husband has been a resident of Nottingham for a short-term stay for 3 weeks. Everyone here is very friendly and caring. The nursing staff has been very good and extremely accommodating. It is a very clean environment. I feel safe leaving him at night knowing he is in good hands. He barely ever hits his call light but the nursing staff comes in before he even has to and ask if there's anything he needs and they deliver it quickly. It's very impressive. Charmain, the Activities Director, is marvelous. But the nursing staff overall goes above and beyond every day. Housekeeping stays on top of everything. The CNA's that care for my husband are very friendly and professional.

Fantastic experience: I could not be more pleased with this Facility. It may not be the most highest rated on Google for some reason, but I can't say enough positive things about it. My Mother stayed here for a couple of weeks for rehab and the staff was nothing short of amazing. The intake was effortless the staff and director, Rose and Abigael are stellar. Every single person that came in contact with my mother was loving and kind and compassionate. She has been in other facilities and was very disappointed so she was frightened to try a new one. This place met our expectations and beyond. The therapists, especially Kathleen, were amazing and patient. The nurses, especially Grace and Lucy, were all very kind, understanding and loving. The kitchen staff and cooks were also exceptional. They allowed me to stay as a guest with my mother in her Room for 95% of the time so I witnessed every interaction with the staff and I was so very pleased! As much as my mother was happy to go home to be in her own house, she was actually sad about leaving the people here. If you truly care about your loved one who has to go to a facility, this is the place. We are very grateful to this company and to all of the people who work there.
