It was not easy less than two months after working with Functional Performance I am feeling like my old self again. I still have some way to go, but I’m no longer in pain All the time because I don’t do narcotics. I love them!! My doctor said they were great and they are.

Positive experience: I had a bad experience in this office, my appointment was thirty minutes later than scheduled, a mistake on their part so I left as it didn't seem to matter to one of the employees who seemed to have trouble admitting they made a mistake. Later I recieved a call from the office and recieved an apology and a refund for my co-pay. Even though I won't be back, it matters a lot to me that they tried to make it right, and that's good business, so I give them 4 stars.

Fantastic experience: When it comes to physical therapy I cant stress how amazing Katie Sauer is at functional performance center. Her attention to detail and knowledge makes her care and service above all others. By far the best physical therapist I have ever met!

Fantastic experience: Top notch location of physical therapists. They look at all angles of what they can do to help you heal. Dave has been a huge help healing my knee replacement. Now I will work with the team for a shoulder replacement happening next week. Entire visits are spent with the therapist. I highly recommend

Well, I feel like I won the lottery The staff actively listened to my concerns and completed an in-depth evaluation. The action plan for my recovery was explained in great detail. I am receiving great care. All staff members are fantastic! I have learned so much about muscle strains. My physical therapy sessions are very helpful and I am confident that my recovery will be successful. I am especially impressed with the manner in which the staff demonstrates and explains all aspects of my physical therapy at the center and how to perform specific exercises at home. I highly recommend Functional Performant Center.

Fantastic experience: Adam Engelsgjerd at the Aurora location was great to work with! He is very knowledgeable in his field, he takes the time to explain the process and what to expect. The therapy really worked and earlier then initially expected! I HIGHLY recommend going here if you are considering Physical Therapy!!

Fantastic experience: Adam was helpful and knowledgeable. I experienced some pain on my left shoulder while getting therapy on my neck and right shoulder. He took additional time to add therapy tape on it. After my therapy was done the pain was pretty much gone on my left shoulder.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend coming here if you're in need of physical therapy. I broke my elbow 1 year ago today and went to PT the following 9-10 months. Adam and his team kept me motivated during this time and gave me the tools I needed to increase the range of motion in my elbow. Adam is very good at explaining how the science behind everything works and adapting it to my specific situation. I now have functional range of motion in my elbow and am back to mostly normal usage. Thanks again Adam!

They are friendly, knowledgeable and have honestly assisted in my recovery more than any other PT practice I have been a patient at, (I have moved around quite a bit and I’ve been to at least 4 other practices in the last 5 years). Both Lauren and Adam are great and they collaborate well in terms of my treatment.

Fantastic experience: I had a 3 month old injury to my foot/ankle that healed poorly and left me screaming after walking 500 feet. In my typical work day, I need to walk at least 1-2 miles to perform my duties and I was desperate for relief. I had the pleasure of working with Adam and Lauren to litterally get me back on my feet. They told me what was going on inside my foot, what we needed to accomplish, and how to get there. I'm absolutely thrilled that I'm able to have pain free days at work and to take the dog for walks again! These guys are top notch patient care! Thank you for doing what you do!

Fantastic experience: Adam was my PT therapist for my vertigo & he was so very kind, gentle & professional. He taught me more about my condition than all the folks I have seen for it since 2010. Thanks, Adam! I'm so glad I found you. I hope I don't have to return to PT for vertigo, but if I do, it'll be to see Adam !!

Fantastic experience: Lauren is amazing! She has a whole body approach that many PTs don’t. I’m 10weeks out after a major labral shoulder repair and she’s done wonders. She takes things slow at first to make sure you understand why you’re doing what she wants and then increases intensity as needed, always making sure you feel 100% ok in the process.

Provided great PT guidance with online tools to track and remind me of the proper way to accomplish and track my exercises. Staff was able to provide and demonstrate with anatomically correct models why certain exercises needed to done in a certain manner for the best results. Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Lauren and staff at Functional Performance Center in Aurora! I was very impressed with the service we received from Lauren, Tara, and Tina. Tina was incredibly helpful scheduling us and communicating in advance of our visit so we could arrive prepared. Lauren and Tara took an abundance of time with us, with great explanations about the knee injury, exercises, treatment options, and possible long-term outcomes. Their care was culturally sensitive, and the clinic generously and compassionately worked with my friend, who is uninsured, around payment issues. Saw other clients being cared for similarly. Great atmosphere. And thoughtful precautions around COVID, including mask wearing and social distancing, and cleanliness. Kindness and care all around! Thank you all!

Fantastic experience: Lauren is amazing. She took the time to carefully explain and treat my son's upper back pain. She gave him exercises to do at home instead of insisting that he should make multiple trips into the office. I HIGHLY recommend Lauren and her team at Functional Performance Center.

Fantastic experience: I was recently treated by Dr. Ostry. I was in quite a bit of pain and considering going back to using a cane. After one treatment I felt total relief that evening and well into the following days. I've had follow-up treatments with equally good results. I highly recommend treatment with Dr. Ostry

Fantastic experience: I’m am so happy I found Lauren! Since my car accident where the air bags opened up on my arms and bruised my back, I was not able to lift my left arm or move around without pain. Now, with her professional help, I’m able to walk without pain. NMT, sport massage, ultrasound, trigger point dry needling, and targeted exercises have restored my mobility. Just do it. Go get help. You don’t have to live in pain or on medications that don’t help you get better. Moving around helps - laying around just makes it worse.
