Everyone that I’ve met in the course of my pre-op, surgery and post-op have been consummate professionals, with kindness, sensitivity and good senses of humor to boot! I recommend VO mostly highly.

Fantastic experience: I am very pleased with the services and staff. I feel as though I am receiving excellent care and achieving the best outcomes in recovering from a shoulder injury All the physical therapists and their assistants have been attentive and supportive. I have to add extra kudos to Brianna (assistant)- she is soooooo on top of it and always spots to ensure “the optimum position” to guarantee a #1 workout.

Fantastic experience: Maya was terrific. She helped me reduce my pain from a herniated disk. I no longer need to use a cane regularly. I highly recommend Ventura Orthopedics.

Fantastic experience: Debbie and Daniel in the Occupational Therapy office were both incredibly helpful with my wrist issue. Debbie's depth of knowledge and teaching methods put me on the road to recovery in no time. I would highly recommend this department.

Negative experience: DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE; Clearly their bussiness model is not to cure you until they squeeze all money possible from your insurance; Dr Zemman did not know how to treat a "pcl avulsion fracture" he told me my injury will heal on itself but I received 2 bills even after i paid for consultation, xray and mri, Im taking my case to the "Better Bussiness Bureau" or even filing a Lawsuit for "unprovided services", Do Not visit this Place.

Fantastic experience: I had 4 ACL surgeries, I got 3 of them done with Ventura Orthopedic, but They helped me recover from all 4 of them, and two times Brock my writs, one shoulder surgery. I’m still doing almost everything I love, except Roller Derby, just because I’m scared to re-tear my ACL. Thanks to the great team of Surgeons, and experiences caring physical therapists, and assistance, they were able to customize workouts to maximize my recovery. As a result I continúe enjoying all the outdoor activities I love, and roller skating whenever I get a chance, thank you Ventura Orthopedic. PS. A shout out to Stephanie and Debbie in Oxnard. Negative experience: We had our 1st appointment with Dr Kevin Deitel today for my husbands severe back pain which he’s been dealing with for several years but has been worse for the last six months. When Dr Deitel walked in the room after we waited 30 minutes the first thing he had to say is why are you here you don’t need to see a surgeon!! We were under the impression that he’s a spine specialist and surgeon. He gave us no direction on what he should or shouldn’t do only said to wear a back brace & do exercises. He was so very arrogant, rude, condescending & vey abrasive. We got absolutely no where with him. He wouldn’t listen to anything we had to say & he kept over talking us. We were so upset when we left & just couldn’t believe that he treats his patients this way. There was no excuse for this kind of behavior.

First and foremost, my arm issue was re-diagnosed appropriately after an urgent care facility missed something. My surgical procedure went smoothly and my recovery has been swift and full. Second, they get the details right. Setting appointments quickly, the physical facilities, and communication have all happened without the usual stress. Every single team member, from surgeon to assistant, has interacted cheerfully and done what they could to ensure I had a positive patient experience. Fantastic experience: I had an outstanding Orthopedic surgeon - Dr. Hoefer. Dr. Hoefer is friendly, dedicated, very knowledgeable and professional. I had great results so far and it has been only 2.5 months since my surgery on October 2020. I had little to zero pain right after surgery. I experienced only a slight discomfort which I would not categorize as pain in the first two months. I am very happy with my choice of Dr. Hoefer I would not consider anyone else. And I did my research before deciding on Dr. Hoefer from the top surgeons at Cedar Sinai to Dr. Hoefer in Ventura Orthopedics. And their physical therapy department in Oxnard is the best because of Dr. Stephanie Mooney. She is skillful , knowledgeable and compassionate. Fantastic experience: I had a bike accident and broke my left clavicle. I couldn’t stop thinking about how much my life was going to change, I thought about being able to play with my son or how well would I be able to play golf or how hard would I be able to work but Dr. Ryan Quinn my surgeon and Sandy Sipe my therapist where able to explain every step of the process to regain full mobility of my shoulder and step by step they help me get there and for that I will be eternally grateful..!!

They thoroughly examine all pre and post surgery issues in order to achieve the necessary goals to achieve 100% of mobility. Sandy and her team of physical therapy technicians are very professional and knowledgeable when it came to my recovery after surgery. I loved coming in and getting a little workout during physical therapy, I really could see the progress after every visit. I was always treated with respect and courtesy when speaking to the staff.
