As a pelvic therapist in the area, it is great to know that there are orthopedic PTs in the area I can refer to for a more integrative approach. He is able to help people with orthopedic conditions, is super caring, and highly communicative with other professionals working on a patient's case. Amazing work!

Fantastic experience: Five PTs later, I was referred to Dr. Leo by a fitness trainer. Finally, someone who listened and actually engaged with me. Dr Leo invested in learning about the problems and symptoms versus just prescribing another patient clamshells all day. Within the first two weeks, my knee pain practically cleared up. Two years of misery and defeat, and it took two weeks for Dr. Leo. A real PT for athletes. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: If it wasn’t for Leo I probably wouldn’t be running right now. He takes the time to understand the problem and come up with a solution to fix it. Best of all, he’s not a PT that just wants you to keep coming back for more sessions. He genuinely wants to fix you and not see you again which is a nice change of pace compared to most PTs!

Fantastic experience: For some time now. I have been experiencing extreme pain in my elbow. At home remedies to alleviate the pain failed. I assumed it was an old baseball injury coming back to haunt me. After one session with Leo, he uncovered the source of my pain. My posture! He continued to work on my arm, elbow, shoulder, back and neck and was able to remove some of the discomfort in one session. We have a plan for future sessions, all leading to a healthier me. Great guy, genuinely cares about you as a person, and more importantly, is committed to a better you. I highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Leo was my PT for my ACL surgery and for my dislocated shoulder. Leo is extremely knowledgeable and one of the best PT’s I have ever worked with. I played college football so I know good PT’s and Leo is one of the best! My leg came out stronger after working with Leo then it was before my surgery. You need a PT? Go to Leo and don’t look back...you will not regret it!!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Leo Valenzuela was exactly what my shoulder needed. After a terrible fall off my road bike I was nervous I needed surgery due to the pain and limited mobility in my left shoulder. With some treatment and at home therapy options to do on my own my shoulder came back to 100%. It’s amazing what a correct diagnosis along with correct treatment can do. Dr. Leo will make sure he gets it right every single time. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Dr. Valenzuela for 6 years now and I will quite literally travel out of state just to see him. I have seen many PTs over the years but Dr. Valenzuela is by far the most holistic and all-encompassing PT I have seen. He takes so much pride in his work and absolutely cares about his patients! Fantastic experience: I worked with Leo for several months on a running injury. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional and efficient. I especially appreciated that he is also a runner, so he truly understands the physical and mental angst of an injury. After weekly sessions, I was back to my pre-injury level. Now running without pain. And I learned several stretching and strength techniques that have helped me remain injury-free. Highly recommend!!

Fantastic experience: I had chronic knee pain in the months leading up to the LA marathon. I honestly didn't think I'd be able to participate. Leo was recommended to me by a gym owner and after starting sessions with him I went from only being able to run 1 pain-free mile to being able to run a full marathon in just a matter of months.

Fantastic experience: Leo has been helping me rehabilitate for a while now and I can’t say enough great things about him! I had chronic back pain for years and as an ex-athlete it was frustrating. I’ve been to other PTs with little to no success, but Leo took the time to understand what was really going on with my situation and developed a plan that worked within my capabilities. What really stood out is that he made adjustments to the plan along the way based on what he was seeing in my progression, each time feeling like a new assessment. Other PTs had a rigid plan and right or wrong we stuck to it, unfortunately. Fantastic experience: I was consistently running a few miles every day and suddenly my left knee was hurting to the point where I could not run at all. I was certain I tore my meniscus and expecting the worst case scenario which was to have surgery. I had an in person consultation with Leo and he determined I needed to strengthen my quadricep and hamstrings because there was to much strain on my IT band. One month later after doing all of the exercises he provided me I am running every day once again with NO pain.

Fantastic experience: Leo is a great physical therapist, he is very aware of how your body moves and what help you specifically need based on your athletic choice and abilities. He works hard to make you feel as comfortable as possible while in his care, as well as taking care of your body while at home, so you have the best possible chance of recovering quickly and efficiently. Anyone seeing Leo, you are in good hands. I would be willing to travel far to see him if needed.

Fantastic experience: Leo Valenzuela is a godsend. After four spinal surgeries, he singlehandedly nursed me back to a regular life. Leo is not only a gifted physical therapist; his positive outlook and commitment to healing is infectious. I saw him twice weekly for many months. Invariably, I would arrive home with with a renewed sense of positivity. Leo has an intuitive sense to how you feel and what you can and cannot do on a particular day. He has the ability to be gentle and healing. Conversely (when you are ready), he is a wonderful motivator and will work you hard. Finally, Leo Valenzuela is a good man. That is more important than you may think because he will become a critical part of your life. However much I hurt, seeing Leo always gave me a renewed sense of optimism. Fantastic experience: Leo is an amazing physical therapist. He tailors each routine to the patient's specific injury and needs. He isn't a one size fits all practioner. He also spends a lot of time with his patients working through the exercises and pain triggers. Leo helped me rehab an achilles tear. He convinced me to slow down and stop worrying about recovery time frames. He wanted me to focus each day on slowly building balance, strength, and proper body mechanics.
