Fantastic experience: Where can I start the nursing staff wow awesome I loved my day as a CNA Agency Aid staff just helping each other it's wasn't no it's not my patients so I can't help everybody on 2 tower it was all our patients nice I didn't feel overwhelmed 7-3 rock 5 stars The charge nurse Rita she is a big definition of extraordinary wasn't hiding very helpful she was busy I never ever seen a charge nurse really working but she was doing what needed to be done and took the time out to check on staff and patients thank you for everything the best place I have ever worked with agency if I didn't live kind of far I would accept everytime..This is a great place to take your family if you looking for warmhearted,compassionate and thoughtful people to do what you expect and more.

Positive experience: If I had to give a star rating on the floor nurses and cna's alone. I would gladly give 5 stars. The floor staff are some of the most caring individuals that I have ever met in my life. My mother was there approximatley two and a half months and they always treated her with kindness and respect. Nurse Salma O., Nurse Patrina, and CNA Sherry are the names that stand out to me because I had the most commuiication with them. There were certainly more that I cannot recall the names of. The upper management was a different story. The head nurse did not respond to my messages in a timely fashion and we had to debate about the meds they were giving my mother. I demanded that they test my mother before giving her any new medications. I also requested that I be informed when they altered my mother's medication but that did not happen. I never met the doctor. I don't know if he is an off site doctor. If you ever go there please stay in contact with your insurance. If they decide to stop paying, the social worker and administration will work quickly to get you out. I understand that it is a business but they don't seem to fight for you and nobody talks to you to explains any changes. They need you out of that bed asap. I was truly disgusted with management. The furniture is old and outdated. Same goes for the elevators. I hope this helps anyone interested in this facility.

Fantastic experience: The receptionist show great hospitality and knowledge. Visiting the patients showed that they are well taken care of which is accredited to the staff training of Barrnet rehabilitation center.

Fantastic experience: I just spent 7 weeks in Barnert rehab. The people who work here are truly caring folks. There are so many nurses, aides, doctors, PT and OT, housekeepers, admin staff that went out of their way to make my time there comfortable. Katie, Latoya, Tim, Marlene, Aqua, Maureen, Keysa, Alexis, Don, to name just some of the staff I interacted with on a daily basis, all did amazing work. (Sorry I can’t remember everyone’s names) Two months is a long time to be in rehab but the staff here helped me through some of the toughest times, with kind words and patience!

The facility was spotless and the patient rooms are very comfortable. They took exceptional care of my Mom. She is on the road to recovery and I am so grateful to all of the staff. They nurse with an abundance of heart. I give them ALL the stars in the sky is how I rate them!!! Heartfelt thank you everyone!!! God Bless!!

Fantastic experience: Tameika Chestnut I came here from St. Joseph hospital and once the meds wore off I was in so much pain I requested to go back to the hospital. I am grateful I didn't leave. The staff here were phenomenal. Mellicia came to aide she's an angel. Jenice is the night nurse and she inspired me to keep pushing through the pain, she is God sent. She is very empathetic and professional. Mia is fantastic, professional, kind and should be cloned. She reached my heart. Randa went out her way to help me. Lauren was excellent and she is an angel. Christal and Jetoya gave me hope and made me smile on more than one bleesed moment. Keysa has such a bubbly spirit I almost forgot I had pain. She needs to be in charge of a training program where everyone can benefit from her lovely personality. Pasty is very assertive, attentive, professional and one mighty great nurse and I pray she keeps her beautiful personality. Silvia came into my room and I was truly grateful for her service and her amazing vibrant Spirit. Joan made me feel so good as she understood that I was in pain and came to my rescue. I know she knows what I mean because I felt embarrassed with some unfortunate situations. Rita, Nneka, Darlenis, Kira and Tamara made this painful experience tolerable by treating me with professionalism, bedside humor and love. Vidya is simply an angel with wings. Carl is a walking Angel and should be recognized as such. He really went out of his way and is by far one of the best nurses I've ever had. He really knows how to treat his patients and also has bedside humor to help you through the pain, thank you Carl. Murra is so extremely pleasant you can almost hear music playing when she comes. Silvia gets a platinum trophy in my book and more than amazing. Jovia is one of the most considerate employees working there. Not only does she check in on the patients but she brings joy in with her. Michelle deserves wings for dealing with me the first night and really i apologize for my pain being transferred as negative energy. She really did her best to appease my situation. TaJanae makes coming in a pleasant moment. Dollie is amazing for her pleasantly phenomenal service. She is a breath of fresh air. Raoul, Alexis, Florangel and Danjo physical therapy were amazing and I got it popping with them By my side. They helped me walk again . I think this team is amazing. Tamara, Iris, Brenda and Joe simply shined. Aqua Jones is such a a pleasant person she glows. Thank you all for your services. Deon Minot is amazing she is bright, happy and kind what a shero. They should get the following requests but not limited to: 1. Raises 2. Bonuses 3. Paid Vacations 4. Monetary acknowledgement 5. Employee of the year Debts paid 6. $1.00 raise for employee of the year 7. Trophies (gold or platinum) for employee of the month 8. Monthly Staff dinners at a restaurant. 9. Gift cards for staff that works holidays 10. Each staff mentioned should have their own sidekicks or assistants for extra help as it's deserved. This was deleted so I wrote as much as I could remember please forgive if I failed to mention your name. Know you all matter and that I pray you are truly recognizing for your dedication and hard work. You are all amazing and how you help people get back to their mobility and life. I am truly grateful for each and every single one of you. Again I say thank you so much . May the staff here be given an opportunity to be able to work where they feel valued. They all deserve it. If anyone is sent to this rehab no that pain is gain when it comes to physical therapy and they want the very best outcome imaginable. We are all just trying to succeed in this experience called life. They have shown me inspiration, motivation and dedication. I am walking and feel good about this next chapter as I return back to my responsibilities and family. I would love to recommend Barnett Subacute Rehabilitation Center to anyone who may need physical therapy.

Fantastic experience: I’m very satisfied with the service, from the time I arrived the employee at the front desk was very welcoming. My grandmother is 97 & currently getting treated at the facility, she stated they have been very patient and caring with her. The employees were very kind to me and helpful, also the center is very clean and rooms are very accommodating 10 out of 10. I will highly recommend the facility to others.

Fantastic experience: My mom was recovering at Barnert and I'm so glad I chose them. The staff is friendly, attentive and pleasant.They resolved any issues from minor to major immediately. I can't thank them enough for making my mom recover so fast and I would recommend Barnet to everyone give this place a chanc I would need 10 pages to write about all individual people from phone receptionist; the best in USA; to Nicole the aid thah made sure my mom has everything she needs the coordinator the nurse's, and so many others. Fantastic experience: I have to say that the doctors and staff at Barnert Subacute Rehabilitation Center are very friendly, efficient, caring and attentive with their patients. The social worker Angélica who was assigned to my mother's case was a tremendous help to my mother and our family. When it came to the process in which my mother had to be relocated Angélica went above and beyond. She is very knowledgeable at her profession and a great social worker. Fantastic experience: My mother was here for 3 weeks and the staff was phenomenal.

Fantastic experience: Rehabilitation that is top of the line. My father went in not able to stand and after 4 weeks was walking with a walker and touch assistance across a 100 foot long floor. When he first went in I had to hold him and pick him up to transfer from the wheelchair to the car and back. After 4 weeks he was doing the transfers himself without me touching him. The staff took care of his needs. The staff was very accommodating when we wanted to take him out on Sunday. They made sure we had a wheelchair to use and an oxygen tank for the transport to and from our house. The nurses there were very very good at taking care of his medical needs.

Positive experience: I had a positive experience with my mother's stay at Barnert. Lauren in administration, Angelica (Social worker), Kerry (Therapy) and nurses were all very caring and helpful with the care of my mother and any time I had questions or concerns, they were always ready to answer them and ease my concerns regarding my mom's care. I would absolute recommend going here for one's physical therapy/rehabilitation needs. Nursing team was very attentive and was caring. Great community base facility. My cousin was actually born at this hospital.

Fantastic experience: This facility took such excellent care of my mother in all aspects of her recovery. The food is excellent. The staff are all very professional and extremely competent. My mother made amazing progress due to the high quality of care she received during her stay.

Fantastic experience: Let me start off by saying that for a facility to run on such a short staff, it is amazing how well trained and how up beat they all are. I can’t recall everyones name that attended my mother but I can name a few. I would like to thank primarily Christina for everything she did. CNA’s Ana, Nicole and many others amazing. Recreation had me painting something outside of my comfort zone but I appreciate Maria, always being so energetic and colorful. Rehabilitation, Barbara and Israel are amazing and it’s amazing to see how he manages his department. Thank you everyone, for your hard work. This facility truly helped me.

Fantastic experience: I have been at Barnert Subacute in the past with my mom who has dementia. In the past few months, they have revitalized staffing with highly dedicated individuals which makes a difference such as Ann, the Director of Nursing who is very involved in the medical care. In addition, they have added new nurses and other staff members who really make efforts to make sure the patient needs are met. In addition, the Director of Social Services, Lucia puts others to shame by her dedication to the needs of her patients throughout and after their stay at Barnert. I have had to go through two hospitals to finally get mom what she needs here at Barnert by the medical staff I do not give compliments easily, and I am a PIA when it comes to mom's care but I have no regrets, and am glad I brought mom here, and would do it again. Kudos to Family of Caring's Chief Operating Officer Mirlana Morris for embarking on making inroads and improvements towards the best and highest levels of care throughout all if their facilities including Barnert. I am a witness first hand.
