SportsCare Physical Therapy Elmwood Park

Fantastic experience: I recently had meniscus repair surgery and was recommended SportsCare PT by my orthopedist. The staff has shown great care to the progression of my recovery and overall are attentive and knowledgeable. Very satisfied with my recovery thus far!

Negative experience: Terrible When I first accepted to take my son to their office they told me that even though they are out of network, my copay of $10 and insurance coverage will cover everything. Now their billing department Jenna ext 1048 keeps telling me I have to pay more outstanding bills ,because verification office Lori Hasman has a note there. Front desk doesn’t take responsibility for what they offered me. I did not speak with billing or verification office when I went there , I spoke with the person in the front desk. This place is a scam.

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough good things about the treatment I have received at SportsCare Physical Therapy in Elmwood Park. My treatment specifically is for a spiral fracture of my left fibula. Thanks to my therapist Luis Rosero I am literally able to get back on my feet and am on the road to recovery faster. Luis has pinpoint precision on what to do for my injury and within a few treatments I truly feel a tremendous difference. I wish I would have come sooner! By the way, Ashley at the front gets the job done. She is always pleasant and a joy to be around. Great vibe and energy when she greets you coming in! The best! I'm grateful to Luis and Sportscare for helping me walk again. All of the patients, including myself are treated with dignity and respect. Luis has addressed all my fears and concerns and has made Physical Therapy along with my goals attainable. I highly recommend this location and Luis - hands on and hands down!

Negative experience: Told me my insurance covered my care and that I would only need to cover a $25 copay. 10 months later they send me a bill for $800 citing procedures I didn't even receive.

Positive experience: Nice friendly stuff but this is about it , the facility is too small , not enough fresh air to circulate the area, the whole place needs update, serious cleaning & I mean serious cleaning from top to bottom.

Fantastic experience: I’m currently going for physical therapy 3 times a week I had a bunionectomy surgery. I’m very happy with the results so far!! The office is clean the staff is very friendly I wanna thank my physical therapist Nadia She really takes care of me !!! I would definitely recommend this physical therapy office !!!

Fantastic experience: A small office where I feel comfortable.-not overwhelmed by a large gym with a lot of things going on at once. 3-4 people per session with a friendly/helpful aide[s] to assist with the exercise portion of each patient's regimen. Luis knows each one's needs and his hands on goes right to the problem. At the same time he's aware of what's going on with exercises and interacts as needed. The office manager is extremely knowledgeable concerning insurance coverage and helpful in every way.As a retired physical therapist I know what I expect and am very happy with haven chosen this facility.

Fantastic experience: If I could give them a 10, I would. When I first got there, I was on crutches. In no time Lauren had me using a cane and today I can walk. From the first day, everyone made you feel welcomed and friendly, all they wanted was for you to get better. From the receptionist Hasana to the aides Sam and Hazel you knew you were headed in the right direction. I have seen Lauren work with people other than myself getting stronger and back to the life they once had. Sportscare got themselves a winner with this team and I recommend this place whenever I can. Lauren has the knowledge, patience and hands to make you feel better. What are you waiting for, call them now!

Fantastic experience: This place is absolutely amazing! Lauren and the aides are wonderful people who know exactly how to help you get better. They always welcome me with a smile and make me feel like I am their priority, even when there are other patients. I am being treated for my knee and would not have chosen a better place to complete my prehab and rehab that all together will last over 6 months! Thank you Lauren, Sam, Hassana and Hazel for all you do! :)

Fantastic experience: Thank You! My therapist Lauren was fantastic. I went in for my knees, and was recommended SportsCare by a friend. I was instantaneously made to feel like I was their first priority. I ended up being with Sportscare for about 2 1/2 months, maybe 3, ending in April this year. Since being done with Physical Therapy, my knee issues have been non-existent, which is perfect now that summer is around the corner, I can get to do things I enjoy, and get back in my kayak, and hiking with my dog without worrying about my knee.
