Positive experience: I've been at this clinic going on a year. Before admitting that I couldn't do it alone and that this was my last option, Without giving any 2nd thoughts, I grabbed the door handle and opened it and it was history from that day forward. No, it has not been an easy journey. I've had days that I just felt like jumping in front of a truck or a train. After much thinking and much denial, I said to myself, ALL YOU'RE GONNA DO IS MAKE ALL THESE PEOPLE LATE FOR WORK OR LATE GETTING HOME. So I just grabbed my phone and call the only being on this planet who will never ever lie to me. Grandma told me, STOP BEHAVING LIKE A LITTLE B!+@H AND GO ON AND FINISH WHAT YOU STARTED. I LOVE YOU AND I'M GONNA ALWAYS BE RIGHT NEXT TO YOU WHEREVER YOU GO. GIVE SOME SUGGA AND GET OUTTA MY FACE, I WANT TO WATCH THAT SEXY MFR DANZEL WASHINGTON. And I've been trying to find myself and see what my purpose in this life is. The staff are very, very reasonable people. Some of them were in our shoes at one point in life. But they have themselves a chance at life. And they are always smiling, talking to people, giving free advice, and the most important thing that they all do, THEY ACTUALLY (HEAR)YOU WHEN YOU'RE TALKING TO THEM. A lot of people listen to your voice, they listen to the sound coming out of your mouth. The Staff there HEAR YOU when you are talking to them. There's a huge difference in someone listening to you and someone HEARING your cries for help, your achievements, how your journey in recovery is going. TO WHOEVER READS THIS REVIEW AND IS GOING THROUGH HELL WITH ADDICTION, COME OVER, THE DOORS ARE ALWAYS OPEN TO WELCOME YOU. Fantastic experience: This clinic is a disgrace for pa person addicts ,I call this clinic looking for help for my sister and they told me rt hat if my sister do not know how to speak english or understand and English she cannot enter the program that sound like racism for me ,this its so wrong you meant to tell me that somebody that want the help its not entitle to get help cause of their language I'm calling the state and the and the better business bureau in you you sjuld be ashamed I was in this clinic and I saw people being dirty on drugs and not making a good use of the services but people that really want the help can't get it this is going to change the director of this s clinic I very racist and if they think I'm going to stay quiet with this they are wrong .this is a human life this is a person we are talking about and its my sister I'm gonna ng to go where ever I got to go and do what I have to do to report this nonsense .its very disgusting ,and the lady that answer the phone was very disrespectful .

Negative experience: 5 stars? 4 stars? 3, maybe... 2 stars because well, they opened the door! Thank you... Stop kissing it people, for real. I've known this place for the past 10 yrs. No where near a 4/5 star rating. As long as they get funding, you're a friend. The world doesn't center around this clinic, but they think so! If you start a job, just hope you don't have to come in when they 'have to see you." You won't get served and you will be late until they see you. Don't bother explaining, they don't care. Northeast Counseling in Passaic is a little better. Get out of Paterson Counseling Services! The poster child for liquid handcuffs!

Fantastic experience: Unlike other clinic's that have waiting lists to get in. I was able to come down at 5am and get medicated by 10am .

Positive experience: I've been there since 1/02/17 and was on back in 2003-2005.. . I don't want to mention my counselors name but.he's an excellent counselor and has helped me quite a bit.......aside from him All the other staff has been cordial and very friendly to me but I don't go in there and complain and start problems like alot of people seem to do... All in all I never would've gotten clean without this place so I have nothing but positive things to say about this clinic and methadone treatment in general

Positive experience: It helped me 10 years ago it’s like anything in life if you are serious and want change the clinic will help, It’s what you want . Just go get medicated and leave dont worry about who’s outside you there for you and you only HELP is the key for addicting addicts HELP HELP HELP........STAY CLEAN STAY ALIVE ONE DAY AT A TIME I NEVER NEW NO ONE THAT SAID THEY BEAT DRUGS THE DRUGS BEAT YOU.......

Fantastic experience: This treatment facility tries to help in what area and all around wat your issue is and basically its up to you if you want to stay clean you will they dont ask any thing of you but to participate in your recovery !!!

Fantastic experience: The negative comments about this clinic don’t make sense to me. I have been here since April 2013 and it has always worked for me. If you are a recovering addict and you are ready to change your life, that’s when this program will work for you. It is very unfortunate that right outside the door on the street there are numerous people selling their methadone and other drugs. You have to be in a good spot mentally to be able to walk into this building, receive your medicine and walk away. They do provide police protection everyday inside the clinic. I wish they would also put a policeman outside to help stop the drug dealing. The clinic opens on time and has NEVER closed early. They are very strict with making sure the doors are locked at closing time, so if you happen to be 5 minuets late, then you dont get medicated. That is not the clinics fault. If you have a job, you are able to get medicated an hour earlier than anyone else. They open at 6am for those who work, otherwise, the doors open at 7am. They stop medicating at 12 noon but the counselors are still available until 4pm on most days. Most of the counsellors that work here have been here for many years. They are polite, respectful and very helpful. Again, I don’t understand many of the negative comments regarding the counsellors and their rude behaviour. I have witnessed on many occasions clients being rude and disrespectful to the counsellors. These counsellors won’t put up with that, not for one second and they shouldn’t have to. I’m sure they’re very used to unstable beings coming in and out of this establishment on a regular basis. There are not many methadone treatment facilities. I wish there were more out there because I believe this medication works wonderfully.

Positive experience: The counselors are amazing and this place works with you and helps you anyway they can!!

Negative experience: Dr doesn't care about you, counselors last months at most. If you miss 3 days no matter the circumstance you will be discharged with NO detox. They will throw you to the wolves. Place sucks but the Dr is even worse.
