Fantastic experience: I have been a patient here for 3 years. I’m very happy with the care I have received. All the staff are kind and professional.

Negative experience: I recently visited this chiropractic office after being assured over the phone that they accepted my insurance. They scheduled my appointment and seemed welcoming upon arrival, even offering me a tour of the facility and pointing out their coffee and tea station. However, after going through their process and returning the next day to review my x-rays, I was informed that they do not, in fact, accept my insurance. Instead, they emphasized that they are ‘better than chiropractors that accept insurance,’ suggesting that their services were of a higher standard. Furthermore, they claimed it would take several years to correct my posture, which felt like an exaggerated timeline based on my previous experience. To provide some context, my former chiropractor managed to effectively correct my posture within just four months, while accepting my insurance and delivering excellent results. It’s clear that there are other chiropractors and physical therapists who can provide equally effective, if not better, care without requiring patients to pay double the cost out of pocket. This experience was disappointing and felt misleading, and I would encourage others to explore all options before committing to this office.

Fantastic experience: As far as PT places go, Oakland Spine is by far the best. The whole staff, from the front desk, to the doctors and PT aides is great, you are ALWAYS seen at the exact time of your appointment so it's perfect to do PT on your lunch break.

Fantastic experience: I recommend going to Oakland Spine and Physical Therapy for any issues you’re having. I’ve been attending physical therapy and acupuncture treatments for carpal tunnel and can honestly say there’s been such a big difference in a short amount of time. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, the doctors are very knowledgeable and the environment is clean and well kept. I recommend 100%.

Negative experience: I welcomed this place when I couldn't barely stand. They told me what they could do for me, and I took their advice. The acupuncture and pt staff were helpful. But after two and a half months I was not feeling better, I got a MRI on my own showing a torn L5 as well as other issues, and only after another expensive package they requested spine decompression, which I was never told they had at this location. I asked one of the doctors if he saw the MRI I brought in and he told me no. Since I paid out of pocket about 7K. I felt broke and defeated.

Fantastic experience: I love the staff at Oakland spine and physical therapy, especially the Fair Lawn Office! I have been recovering from an awful injury that has been physically and mentally difficult, and the folks at the fair lawn office have made my recovery so much easier. These are the people you want to trust! THANK YOU Oakland spine and physical therapy!!!

Negative experience: I came here to the fair lawn location for my protruding sacrum, they did an x-ray and then told me that there is nothing that can be done and the reason why it's out is because I'm underweight. So I left here feeling defeated. I then went to another chiropractor in clifton and the very first visit he was able to put my sacrum back in place and said it was out due to my flat feet! I never knew that could have caused the issue! I left there with happy tears and couldn't believe it was something as simple as this! I can now lay down on a hard surface without any pain! What a shame it was for this place not knowing how to fix something so simple!

Fantastic experience: Oakland spine & physical therapy in fair lawn is fantastic. Everyone from reception, from chiropractic, from acupuncture and from physical therapy are terrific and super helpful and kind. I will definitely recommend them to anyone who not only need help with pain but improving better habits. Best place to go.

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing this place since I had an accident (shoulder injury). I had no clue what a physical therapy is or what it does. This place has the friendliest staff that I have ever come across. I truly enjoy going to this place, I always feel heard and loved here. Special thanks to Dr. Michael Lavecchia, Dr. Joseph, & Dr. Brad, for hearing & understanding my pain and discomfort. Also, I have been working with different therapist including Steven, David, Sam, & Yulo, each one of them is extremely helpful and kind. An added bonus is Emily and Rae at front desk. Fantastic experience: What a great office.Very friendly and efficient front desk staff. Always on the top of their game. Now for the real results. I had a sholder problem and could not even get my belt on. Within a few weeks of Chiro, PT and Acupuncture, I was feeling back to normal. Very competent and knowledgeable. They evaluated and treated the triggers that were giving me my pain. I am continuing my maintenance program to stay healthy, just like changing the oil on my car. Fantastic experience: I go to the Fair Lawn location. The kind professionalism in this facility is top-notch. I like that it is a clean clinic without the bleach or sweat scent any other physical therapy clinic usually smells like. I love how each of the medical team members makes a point to remember the names of each of their patients, as well as customizing the treatment for me and my goals. I feel well cared for. And I am glad that a facility like this exists near me. Mike, Dr. Wells, Dr. Joseph and Dr. Greg are all mindful of their methods and approach in helping their patients, particularly in not pushing the body more than it could handle. In fact, Dr. Greg and Sam both have incredible knowledge database and memory retention of exercises they give their patients. They are great with helping my pain management. I give them a 10 out of 10. I do note that there are team members who are even more exceptional than the 10 out of 10 scale. For me, they score 12 out of 10. Their execution of their responsibilities should be an example to others in this field. Emily and Sarah from the front desk pay attention to detail well. I like knowing that my patient information is exact. They both spell my surname correctly, and I don’t have to worry about having a case of mistaken identity. On top of that, they handle schedule changes very well. Dr. Marks from my pre-onboarding intake never made me feel like I was one of “many” patients of the day or week. He’s probably seen a lot of patients, some who were in worse conditions than mine, and yet he made me feel like my pain was on the top of his list. Dr. Joli, Irene, David, and Jeremy are unexpectedly and unbelievably present in their patient interactions. I could sense their utmost focus on what I do during the moment I am in their care. I instantly feel the benefit of their direct interaction during my sessions with them. They receive bonus points on how each had been quick to catch then correct my weak muscle engagement and non-stellar body mechanics. Furthermore, they are amazing in finding my limit and keeping me from pushing pass it. I’m on Day 5 and have felt the improvement with this healthcare team. Overall, they make me eager to keep coming back. I trust them about making my back pain go away and keep that pain aside without surgery or medication dependency.

Fantastic experience: If you have given up on past treatments because they have not worked, I highly recommend Oakland Spine & Physical Therapy. Their approach incorporates multiple disciplines which support healing. After years of only PT or medications to help with injuries sustained in an accident, I also developed degenerative arthritis in my neck, shoulder, and spine. For the first time in years, I am experiencing less pain, increased range of motion in my neck where there was little and progressive ability to do things I once enjoyed as well as things that are necessary, including sleep.

Fantastic experience: Started coming here after a year of surgeries, various healthcare professionals, and nothing to show for it. The front desk is exceptional and very easy to schedule appointments as well as making changes to said appointments. Just make sure to follow the appointment policy and you should never have an issue. The chiropractic doctors are great and never push you more than what they know your body is capable of. The acupuncture is also an amazing service they provide. I was a new to the experience and the sensations but I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't tried it. It is a little uncomfortable at first but the pressure they provide along with the meditation has helped me a lot. I haven't started physical therapy yet because of the treatment plan they created for me, which is also specially tailored for each patient depending on your own respective goals, but I would assume that the standards and the quality of care would be the same. Also the laser therapy is a must.

I was recommended to this facility by a friend and my first visit was tough. I was experiencing an issue with my knee and having already visited a specialist I was referred to have a second opinion by one of the staff members at Oakland Spine and Physical Therapy.The referral was GREAT and I truly appreciate the concern shown upon my first visit and every visit after! Fantastic experience: I'm very pleased with Oakland Spine Fair Lawn location. Right from the beginning the approach was organized and efficient. After a short tour of a well equipped facility my trouble spots were xrayed and a custom chiropractic and therapy plan was designed for me. My expectations were properly set by knowing how many visits would deliver my wellness goal. Nothing was open ended or ambiguous. If I had special needs, as came up during treatment, Oakland Spine easily accommodated them. One of the things I like the best is the communication of my case across all members of the staff. The medical doctor communicated to the chiropractors (there are three and any one of them could treat me as a result) the chiropractors communicated with physical therapists were also interchangeable and one my therapy plan. Then feedback went back up the chain for communication with the doctors. Physical therapy was a pleasure with a good natured staff that was extremely willing to accommodate whether it was getting my equipment to keep my session moving, to a team of assistants that keep the equipment clean, to asking if I would like coffee, water or juice during my sessions. The front staff is extremely courteous and professional and they communicate with the PT department with a walkie talkie to keep the flow of patients moving which eliminated wasting time sitting around. All in all I only have praise for this organization. PS: I feel a lot better.

Fantastic experience: Shantell - the massage therapist is amazing! Booked a 60 min massage, and came out extremely relaxed. Shantell has firm hands and knows the right pressure points so was able to relieved all my knots. The Fair Lawn location is new and very modern. Well decorated and clean. Staff are all very cheerfully and helpful. They offer free refreshments and baked cookies, a definite plus! :-) I highly recommend this place! Going back again soon!

I have been doing acupuncture with Dr. Jamie helps to relieve my stress; physical therapy with Dr. Austin, Oliver, PT and Hesh, PTA and Rina who are really an expert and doing an excellent job in providing me the therapy I needed. Dr. Joshua, chiropractor helps me to losen up my aching bones. And just want to thank all the employees as well.

The admins are very knowledgeable about any insurance related questions (and more), the PT techs/aides are very attentive and knowledgeable, and the therapists really care about your recovery.
