Fantastic experience: If you are looking for a great place in Peoria to see a Physical Therapist, Spooner is the place! From start to finish, they have a seamless approach to addressing your issue and helping you work through it intentionally. There is an evaluation at the beginning and then at the end to make sure you have reached the standards that were originally identified. There is a deep sense of satisfaction when you have attained better mobility and strength. Audra Crossland is particularly adept at the diagnosis and treatment needed. High five to a great team!

Fantastic experience: The therapists (including the front office staff) at Spooner are knowledgeable and caring. They greet you in a friendly manner and create a pleasant yet bearable workout. I bombard them with questions as I experience a new sensation in the healing process of my ankle fracture. They answer all my questions and set my mind at ease with the explanations of each exercise and what it is doing to make my ankle strong again. I recommend this location wholeheartedly.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely the most outstanding team of practitioners from the folks at the front desk: Maria and Michelle to and through everyone in the large PT room. The camaraderie among the team members is superb and Lisa, Jason, Joy, Nicole, Fran and Bobby and newer folk who joined the staff as I weaned away were simply wonderful. I have subsequently recommended to other friends to go there for their prescribed PT. What a terrific group. Thanks to them I am fully functional..

Fantastic experience: My PT Jamie and Sammie were great ,they saw what I needed and kept me going . They also saw that I needed more than the normal therapy so then adjusted as needed to keep me ahead of my therapy.Originally my therapist was too far from my home and I was going to switch to a closer one but after I started therapy I stayed with them because they kept me motivated to get back into shape and back on my bike and Pickleball thanks for all the help

Positive experience: The entire team was friendly and I felt the front desk was very accommodating and helpful. I was surprised that after major surgery for breast cancer my first post-op appointment with the trained PT, Lisa, had at least 4 people scheduled at the same time. I was not asked how my procedure went or if there were any complications before an assistant- that stated she had not seen my chart/could not find my materials- started to assign exercises. The Assistant was kind but lacked the confidence to model, and then ensure understanding, for proper form. She was also trying to help too many people to be available for questions during the exercises and had trouble accessing Lisa due to the number of people she was serving. It was overwhelming on the first visit after such a difficult surgery to feel so alone in the clinic. I feel that all Peoria team members are well intentioned but overbooking to this point, where important measurements and supervision are skipped after major surgery is not safe. I would highly recommend the Surprise City Center Spooner location for a more personalized and thorough PT for breast cancer surgery recovery.

Fantastic experience: Anyone suffering rib or chest pain following breast surgery? I highly recommend the breast rehabilitation team at Spooner Peoria. Lisa is a very caring therapist and will create a program to help you overcome the residual pain post beast surgery.

Fantastic experience: Lisa at Spooner Peoria has been amazing. I was referred to Spooner Peoria for shoulder concerns and breast health. Since Lisa specializes in breast health, she was my go to. Not knowing what to expect, Lisa immediately put me at ease, treated me with dignity and respect, listened and validated my concerns, and made me feel I was part of the recover team. Lisa and her Lead PT Tech Myisha, have helped me get physically better than before the diagnosis. They have worked diligently and hard for every appointment and have given me the tools needed to compliment the therapy at home. My quality of life has never been better. Fantastic experience: These girls really work me over....but I DO see a definite change for the best. I just have to learn to be active...enjoy the TV, Reading, Eating but also get out there and Walk!!! Someone once told me, "if you Rest, you Rust!" That is so true! Fantastic experience: Excellent care & physical therapy! My radiation oncologist suggested Lisa at Spooner for PT following breast cancer surgery, which included lymph node removal. Lisa is an amazing lymphedema therapist! On my first visit, she was able to improve my flexibility by at least 30% & improved the flow of lymph from the area. My second visit I saw Elana & she was also wonderful, too! If you or someone you know is going through surgery or radiation, I highly recommend Spooner Physical Therapy to help with post surgery & radiation side effects like lymphedema. Fantastic experience: I enjoyed physical therapy at this office. All of the staff were friendly, casual, and never pressured me to practice exercises that were too painful. Laughter is a part of healing, and Lisa and the girls all put a smile on my face during every visit. I visited once a week for 6 weeks. While I’m glad I’m feeling better, I will also miss seeing everyone. Thank you to the team at Spooner Peoria for helping me in my recovery!

Fantastic experience: These people are true professionals with many tools in their toolbox. Everything from cupping to dry injections, to exercises, to massage therapy. My therapist was Caralyn and she knows how to get my muscles acting correctly. When I started, I would get debilitating back spasms whenever I moved. Now there are no spasms.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely the best place I have gotten physical therapy from. The entire staff are friendly, fun, and extremely kind. You can also tell they enjoy where they work and the staff is like a small family, they are tight knit and it creates a great environment to go in and work on the issues you’re facing. They have never failed to greet me when I come in or tell me goodbye when I leave. The staff is knowledgeable, patient, and encouraging. I 100% recommend going here if you need physical therapy.

Fantastic experience: Reasons I would recommend Spooner All of the staff was friendly, knowledgeable and ready to please. The facility was in close proximity to where I reside. Recovery analysis and physical therapy diagnosis was accurate, conducted in a business like manner and explained in an understandable fashion. Equipment was hygienic and suitable for my recovery. Massage service was an unexpected pleasure.

And I watch them with others, and they do the same. So many places just leave you on your own. Not this place. And all the staff are awesome. ❤ You can tell that they care. I appreciate that. From the time you enter the door mask on and throughout the facility you are greeted by a friendly masked staff of professionals, wanting to help you achieve your recovery goals. They listen, create a flexible rehabilitation plan and are with you during execution. Excellent team, that I trust will have me back on the snow this winter.

Fantastic experience: I had back surgery in February of this year. The surgeon had not ordered physical therapy that I thought I might need. All I needed to do was walking. The exact thing I wanted to be able to do, the very reason I got the surgery was to be able to walk! But walking 1000 feet was torture! I could walk only by pushing a shopping cart! The delightful people at Spooner knew what to do to build strength in my back! They taught me the proper exercises and coached me in the proper positions. They taught me it’s important to warm up first, we start the sessions with 10 minutes on the recumbent. Each session concluded with massage and a heat pack! — Absolutely delightful! The staff truly care and know how to help!

Fantastic experience: I am on oxygen 24-7 and was concerned doing physical therapy workouts as I use a pulse oxygen unit and should use full oxygen when doing this. Zachary started me out slow and made sure to check my oxygen levels after each exercise. It worked and I am sure that it was a slower process than normal for any other client. I highly recommend this facility to anyone in need of physical therapy.

Fantastic experience: Although I was sceptical about having physical therapy I am glad I started. The team is very friendly and professional. They reviewed the summaries of my X-rays and provided me with the appropriate treatment for my specific problems. They are both encouraging and supportive.

I filled most of the forms out - got them online. So all I had to do was go in the next day for treatment! Everyone there is nice to me and makes me feel like they are really glad I'm there.
