Fantastic experience: For Starters this is hands down the best facility I've ever been. Not only do they make dreams come true but you can see all of the people here become truly invested in each of us and excited when we hit our goal. I've had so many injuries growing up playing all sorts of sports, specifically soccer. While in college I tore my left knee (Meniscus/knee cap) and without skipping a beat Brian said, " if you put in the work we'll make tryouts" This was instrumental to my recovery and 5 weeks later I was on the flight to San Diego ready for my Pro Soccer Trails. Another Member of the Center team I also owe a huge thank you to is Chris McGovern. I gave Chris an impossible task of getting me ready for my upcoming Sweden/Finland tour and the next day Chris had everything from meals to workouts and even walks with my dogs to make sure I hit that goal. Fantastic experience: Andy is extremely knowledgeable and has helped my shoulder immensely. When I first went for therapy, Andy sat down with me to discuss what my goal was and what was realistic and what wasn’t. My left shoulder is torn up from weight lifting and years in the window business. My shoulder had gotten to the point where it was limiting my every day life. I’m very glad that I came here because Andy has helped me with strengthening and flexibility in the shoulder. He doesn’t just tell you go do 10 of these or 2 sets of that, he will explain to you what you’re doing and prepares you for how to deal with the injury in the future. He also does the trigger point massage that really helps. It has gotten to the point where I think he has given me enough knowledge for me to be able to manage it on my own. Highly recommend! Fantastic experience: Christina is excellent. She listens to your concerns and works hard to improve whatever physical limitations you have. Very caring and concerned for the patient’s welfare. Highly recommend her as a therapist.

Fantastic experience: Physical therapist Brian is awesome as are the assistants and office personnel. It is very difficult to get ahold of the office staff directly, however. Ortho Arizona's phone system is not conducive to good customer service.

Fantastic experience: Ray Sumayo is awesome. He is very thorough in explaining every exercise and what part of the shoulder and bone it is affecting. He would measure my arm distance and share how much I have increased my movements. He pushes me which is what I needed and I know he cares about me. I even told my doctor to extend my Physical Therapy another month Thank You Ray Sumayo!!!

Fantastic experience: I had my last session today and I can’t say enough great things about the staff! Christina’s expertise, knowledge, kindness, compassion and encouragement got me through my knee replacement surgery recovery. In addition, Cesar, Riley, Amber, Kelee and Skylar were so helpful and encouraging and actually made my pt bearable. Ray stepped in for one of my sessions and I appreciate him, too. Everyone I dealt with was patient and encouraging, even when I behaved like a whiny brat. . Not only did they all get me through my recovery and pt, I feel better physically than I have felt for several years. Thank you to everyone!

Fantastic experience: attending this facility for prehab for my ACL repair surgery yet to be done. Ive been able to meet my range of motion goals with the detailed and progressive treatment plan at OrthoArizona. All the PT's are great. Ive worked with them all: Andy, Ray, Brian and one other. I appreciate they are open early and have a welcoming and upbeat atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: May 18 on my birthday I gave myself the gift of shoulder surgery at OrthoArizona. My doctor Domer did an outstanding job with the repair and now I'm in PT with Ray Sumay. The people who work their Therapy Centers are helpful and attentive. Especially Ray who is wonderful at his job! Very caring, gentle, and takes the time to listen to my needs. I think I'm healing well thanks to Ortho Arizona and their medical team. Grateful

Fantastic experience: The facility is amazing, a fantastic place for physical therapy. Andy Gilliland was my therapist, extremely professional and had lots of patience with me. I had issues bending my knee, he worked on my knee in different ways to help me bend. I had questions- he had answers, very knowledgeable. The staff were absolutely the best, very caring made me feel welcome every therapy session I attended. Thanks to Christina, Skylar and the rest of the staff. Let's not forget the receptionists, very caring and professional. Will miss you all .

Fantastic experience: I work 12 hrs a day 5 days a week, on my free time i workout and stay super busy. If you have pain Bryan can fix you. Went in with thorasic and lower back pain and in a few weeks had me moving and sleeping comfortably again. I can't emphasize enough how good Bryan and his staff are, top notch facility and physical therapy. Fantastic experience: Starting PT after back surgery was an intimidating experience for me. From the first appointment forward, Brian and his team helped me feel confident in the work that was needed to return to pre-injury condition. Brian is a great therapist who worked with me to identify areas that were causing added pain, and he successfully addressed and treated those areas. The technicians were so helpful as they guided me through the exercises. I am grateful for the kindness and attention given to me while I was being treated.

Fantastic experience: Outstanding group of PT’s and support staff. Christina is my PT and really works my knee and prepares me for what she expects each visit. I go to a gym and work out on the bike just before going to therapy to get my knee bending. Skyler, Neeley, Riley, Amber and Cezar make sure I move to all the different work out stations in a timely manner. What a great group of young professionals, I will miss them when therapy is finished. Kathy , Christine and Dessera at the front desk are the best.

After many months of pain in my right foot, they have improved my foot 95% in just 4 weeks. They care about their clients and see them as people...not objects. Highly recommend all of them....

Fantastic experience: Brian explains well the problem, anatomy, treatments and varies the treatments to improve range of motion and pain reduction very well. Recommend him for sports induced pain.

Fantastic experience: I am very happy with the results both of my daughters have achieved while training at The Center for Athletic Performance and Physical Therapy. Training under Colter my daughters receive a comprehensive training regimen tailored to their athletic level. He works some tougher exercises as well to keep them progressing to the next level. Fantastic experience: Fantastic place! The facility itself is beautiful and airy with lots of natural light (which is super important to me for morale/mental health). Get this- I've even seen a dog there once. Like, playing outside. Everyone here is kind, attentive, and seem to work in sync with one another. Their equipment is of nice quality (I wouldn't know much because I don't play sports or work out a bunch but it all seems well maintained and clean!). As a larger-bodied person I'm always a bit nervous of doing things that center around my body but I'm not made to feel lesser-than by anyone and I don't feel like a spectacle- The therapists here are kind to me and respect my limits but work to push them so I can get back on my feet (like, I broke my ankle... so... it's a bit literal). I appreciate all of their help and kindness- Being in a position where you can help someone regain a part of themself is such a special job to be in. You can tell these people take that seriously. :)

Their professionalism is of the highest quality. I've had physical fitness therapy in five different locations and two different cities in two different countries, so far the best I've had.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic facility and staff! Unfortunately, I've had several orthopedic surgeries in my lifetime, therefore I believe I am über qualified to review physical therapists. This large facility provides ample room for the patients and staff to work on their individual needs. The equipment is top-notch throughout the room. The staff spends an amazing amount of time with each patient, which is a bonus in today's rushed world. I highly recommend this location for your PT needs.

Fantastic experience: I used to dread working out until I met Chris. I left the Air Force a couple of years ago with arthritis in my back and hips which has led to poor posture and chronic pain thus not wanting to workout. Chris' knowledgeable advice and creative workouts really helped strengthen my back and in turn has corrected my posture. He was very thorough in learning about me through out every workout. If something didn't feel right during an exercise, he would try variations until the right one worked for you. He was very tentative to you and your body. Never have I worked with such an amazing trainer and person. As far as the Center itself, the people are fantastic! Every time you entered the building you were treated with a friendly, sincere hello and how was your day. They really get to know not only their clients but everyone that uses the facility. You feel more like family than a patient.
