Fantastic experience: I would like to thank the crew of Athletico East Peoria. The PT that I received has made my total knee replacement better than the "original equipment" had been for years. My range of motion is SO MUCH better. I'm able to get in and out of my pickup without laying across the seat and pulling my leg in after me. Thanks everyone and I'll see you when I get the other knee replaced after the first of the year.

Fantastic experience: Zach, Georgio and Vicky - along with Tina and all of the support staff were excellent to work with. After 5 weeks of therapy, I went from not being able to bear weight on my leg to being fully back to normal. Thank you guys for the help!

Fantastic experience: I had Bekah and Zach take care of me when I had my shoulder surgery. I have been to multiple PTs so far but the East Peoria ATI is by far the best. They make it fun to be there while simultaneously taking it seriously. They clearly like helping people. They were always flexible in schedule and were constantly attentive to detail in their questions. I would recommend anyone in the Peoria/East Peoria area to check them out. It would be a positive investment for yourself! I promise!

Fantastic experience: I went in after dealing with vertigo for a week unable to drive or really do much of anything. After one appointment with Beka I was feeling a lot better. After 2 appointments, my dizziness was gone. Not only did she work a miracle on my dizziness, but she was so kind, explained everything that was going on, and why she was doing it. Highly recommend her!!

They were Always able to address my concerns and answer questions that I had, and always believed in the process of getting me back to a pain-free lifestyle. Becka, my therapist, was amazing. Fantastic experience: I came to AthletiCo hesitant about physical therapy after being dismissed by other medical professionals about my hip pain. I was practically in tears of joy after my first appointment with Beka when she evaluated my strength and took my concerns and pain seriously. She gave me an at home plan after that first appointment with stretches and some exercises, which we added to over time. Over the next few weeks, I came regularly to the clinic where we worked on strength and stability. Beka and the staff always gave me a good workout while providing a fun atmosphere. I began to look forward to my appointments! My pain began to lessen as well, resulting in me being able to resume my regular fitness and daily activities. I am beyond grateful to Beka and staff and wouldn't hesitate to visit again (although I hope I don't have to!). They are truly the best! ❤️ I feel confident that I have the knowledge now to address any lingering issues myself as I continue to recover.

Fantastic experience: Zach and his crew were so helpful. I needed my knee to be in good condition for a fire academy and was very worried at first if being able to put weight on and load my left side was even possible. He worked with me extensively and provided at home programs in addition to working in the office to get my knee healthy and strong again. He’s so down to earth and honest, which I appreciated. Fantastic experience: My therapist, Zach Kirkpatrick was wonderful! He explained why I was doing various excersies and how it would help me recover with my hip replacement. Zach was very organized and a true professional. Tina Benson was very helpful when it came to my insurance coverage. Becca, not my therapist, was extremely nice. I would highly recommed this facilty. Fantastic experience: I have had tennis elbow for 7 years that I have neglected other than home based exercises that helped minimally. In September, i was having shoulder pain that radiated from the blade, down through the entire arm and my side breast tissue. I was struggling to hold my newborn grand baby. Started therapy with Zach in September and have eliminated pain around the shoulder blade and breast tissue area. I still was having quite a bit of pain lingering in that tennis elbow area. Dry needling has done wonders on everything from the shoulder down to forearm. BUT, I had more areas done with the dry needling a week ago and this has given me the most relief I’ve had in years. Zach is amazing and worth every penny! I’m continuing to come once a week to get me through gardening season or until I am comfortable being done with treatment. SO MUCH IMPROVEMENT!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at the EastSide Center Athletics. I had a recurring pain where my left hamstring & glute joined. Couldn’t nock it out. After 1st visit I was 90% better. Was back to full training after 1st visit. 100% after a few weeks. Intelligence trainers & fun too.

Fantastic experience: Six weeks of PT from Zach (including dry needling, which is the best), and I am good as new. My back and hip issues have completely resolved. Working with Zach and his team was a great experience. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I had a partial knee replacement scheduled and cancelled it last minute because I didn’t feel good about jumping into another surgery and long recovery. A friend recommended Zach K. and he completely changed the course of my life! Zach is very knowledgeable and invested a lot of time and energy into my PT. I really enjoy CrossFit and Olympic lifting and Zach went above and beyond with helping me get back to basics and become more mindful of my positioning while strengthening my weaknesses. He even worked with my coach at the gym so I always had help available when I needed it. I feel so much more confident now doing what I love and living a life without pain. I am just blown away with Zach’s commitment to my success!

They don’t just order you around and not listen to you like other local PT facilities; the people at Athletico truly listen to you and form connections with their patients. Fantastic experience: We were extremely happy with Athletico. Our son, who is a multi-sport athlete worked, with Becca at the East Peoria location for a few weeks and experienced great results. His pain completely resolved and they provided him with ongoing exercises/workouts he can complete on his own to prevent further injury. All the staff were extremely nice and knowledgeable. Fantastic experience: I really love coming to this East Peoria Athletico for my physical therapy needs! I came here the first time a few years ago for an injured shoulder, and I came back 3 months ago for my torn Achilles’ tendon rehab. Zak and Bekah are not only knowledgeable but also fun to work with. I trust them completely to guide me back to full health. They also facilitate a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere in the clinic, despite the hard work patients are doing. I highly recommend coming and seeing them!

Fantastic experience: Zach Kirkpatrick is the best in Central Illinois. We refer all of our people his way and to date have had over fifty participants or student athletes have a safe, healthy, and sustainable return back into training, sports, and life. He does his best to see new patients in a timely manner, although with current workloads they're often triple or quadruple booked. Fortunately he also does a great job developing PT student assistants who are highly qualified under his supervision as well!

Fantastic experience: Zach and the team have been great to work with this year during my long and exhausting rehab. The team has a great relationship working well together ensuring progress and a little fun along the way. Tina is so helpful, always greets me with a smile and willing to assist with any questions or scheduling issues that arise.

Fantastic experience: I have going to Athletico @ EastSide Center in East Peoria, IL for a few months now and my Physical Therapist name is “Brett”. I’ve been dealing with the post symptoms of Hip Labrum Tear, & a lower back issue. Brett has been the absolute best Physical Therapist that I have ever dealt with EVER! His courteous attentive nature, along with always staying right with you has helped me so much. At times when I thought he was pushing me to much, he knew he had too! His laughter & personality is what me as the client needs to feel to keep the drive going. I can’t recommend Brett enough. The guy has what it takes and it shines through to his clients to make them reach their ultimate goal. I would definitely return again if needed. Thanks Brett!

Fantastic experience: Zach Kirkpatrick is hands down the best Physical Therapist I have worked with. He used a combination of Dry Needling and stretching/strengthening to completely cure my piriformis syndrome! I was completely pain free by the end of my sessions and stronger than I have been in years! If you are suffering from any musculoskeletal pain or sports injuries, do yourself a favor and let Zach evaluate you!

Fantastic experience: I came back in to the East Peoria office after my fall semester and was immediately put on the schedule for the next day! They were quick to get me back into the clinic to help me heal my shoulder over my winter break. Everyone in the office is very friendly and takes time to talk through exercises and stretches with me.

Fantastic experience: Zach and Salena were really excellent. I had some pretty severe back pain and I was just 10 days from a powerlifting meet. Zach did some dry needling work on me which helped me tremendously, and put me through a regime of stretches and exercises for my back, hips, and glutes to get them working properly. Salena also worked on my back and my rehab protocol. Thanks to them I was able to compete in my meet, and now (a week later) my back still feels fine. I recommend them highly!

Fantastic experience: I had a new issue in my my lower right leg with pain that was getting worse and even with extended rest and stretching would come back soon after resuming my running. This time Zachary and Jonathan helped with my treatment. Jonathan was a Bradley student learning the physical therapy field. I was asked if I wanted to allow Jonathan to participate in the my treatment and I agreed. Zachary did a great job mentoring Jonathan thru my evaluation and setting up my treatment plan. Once my evaluation was complete Zachary performed my treatment and Jonathan worked with me on exercises to strengthen and improve my stability in the affected area. Once again I had a very positive experience with their professionalism, understanding of my issue, answering my questions and providing the therapy I needed to get back to my running. Also, during this time of COVID-19 I felt comfortable being in their facility because they did a great job of checking temperatures of everyone entering the facility, everyone was wearing masks and I saw them cleaning the equipment after each use. My first experience with Athletico - East Peoria Selena and her assistants were very professional. I appreciated that she took the time to understand the pain I was experiencing while running and answered all the questions I had. With the therapy, a new dynamic warm-up routine, cool down stretches and strength exercises that she provided I was able to get back to pain free running in several weeks. Over the course of my therapy I had a couple conflicts with my normal appointment time and they were able to work with my schedule to get me in at a different time to keep my recovery on track. With the race I have been training for coming up in just a few weeks I have my confidence back that I will be ready to run a good race.

Fantastic experience: Althletico physical therapy hands-down deserves five stars. The physical therapists there are amazing they have been there every step of the way to my recovery.. just a couple things that I do like is that when I have to go to my doctors my physical therapist Dustin takes the time out of his day to be there for me and to communicate with my doctor. Thats awesome for me especially letting him know my progress..Everyone that works at this location is by far hard working and very smart and they get you in the right Direction on getting healthy again. Scheduling is pretty easy too always have appointments when I need them. So if you’re looking or will be looking for A physical therapist I would highly recommend giving them a try .. you won’t be disappointed

Fantastic experience: The staff were always friendly, professional, and had an easy-going demeanor. The location and hours were very convenient for me. I did not have any problems in scheduling appointments. Although the facility could get busy at times, the therapists multi-tasked well treating patients. If I find myself in need of physical therapy again, I would most certainly chose Athletico in East Peoria and recommend it to others.

Always treated with respect, the staff made great efforts to strengthen the muscles needed to help my body back to functioning my normal every day activities. Travis, Zack and Selena were all so very professional, respectful and knowledgeable from day 1 of PT to the last day.
