Athletico Physical Therapy - Germantown Hills-Metamora

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Athletico Germantown Hills. I had an acute Achilles problem and was considering surgery. After only a month and a half I am nearly back to normal. I was always welcomed warmly and my PT was understanding and caring. The home exercises were explained in language I could understand. Everyone pitches in to help when needed. 5 star treatment!

Fantastic experience: I have been battling vertigo for some time and was referred by my chiropractor to Dustin B., I went to visit him last week 9/24 and I cannot believe after one treatment my vertigo is gone!!! I gave it the weekend to make sure and sure enough I'm feeling so much better. I highly recommend this if you are having dizziness. Thank you Dustin!!!!

Fantastic experience: I went with this place because it was the closest to home. I’m so glad I did because they are wonderful for PT, and I can’t recommend them enough! I usually worked with Selena, who is great at her job, but everyone there is so caring and knowledgeable. They helped me work through a summer of pain, and I am finally feeling much better. They helped me get stronger and functioning again. I would use them again in the future for PT!

Fantastic experience: This Athletico is the best in town! I had been experiencing hip pain for the past 6 weeks and scheduled an appointment with Dustin. Whenever I would experience any sort of pain in the past, I would usually go to a prompt care but would always leave without a positive solution. This time, I decided to directly contact Athletico. They were able to schedule my appointment within the same week I called & after my first visit, I had a significant reduction in pain! I was basically back to feeling 100%. I highly recommend going to this clinic! The PTs there truly provide the best care and want to help you reach your goals!

Salena, other than a cold touch, she is amazing. Dustin is so funny and always ahead of the game. I've came here 2 times now before and after spine surgery. They have helped me so much. Fantastic experience: Wonderful!!! I can’t say enough about Dustin Brown!!!! I woke up on a Sunday with severe dizziness and after a trip to the prompt care and my GP they referred me to PT services! I was very scared with this new onset but Dustin’s demeanor was very calm and reassuring that the maneuvers were going to work and get me back on my feet! By the next day I was already feeling relief from the vertigo and was feeling much better! I can’t thank Dustin and his team enough for providing me with the best care!!! My hope is that everyone knows about this vertigo program and how much it can help them even after one session!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Recovering from ACL reconstruction has been far better than expected thanks to the team at Athletico (Germantown Hills). On my first visit I was welcomed by all upon entry and then provided a schedule to fit my needs. Then Salena, my primary PT, noticed a potential blood clot. After a quick trip to the ER her suspicion was correct. Her experience and knowledge put me ahead of a potentially deadly situation. Fast forward to today, Salena, Dustin and the entire staff have me ahead of my recovery trajectory. I encourage all to consider Athletico for your rehabilitation needs!

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Dustin Brown from my dentist. I am currently having TMJ issues. Dustin is excellent at his job. He knows exactly what he is doing. He had me try the dry needling along with other exercises to help strengthen my neck and shoulders. Dustin is very personable and very caring. Athletico is a short trip from several towns. So glad I found them!!

Fantastic experience: I had this site recommended to me after I told my coworkers I was suffering from vertigo. I called, explained the reason for my call, I was briefly put on hold, and when they came back on the line I was offered a same day appointment knowing how miserable I was feeling. Dustin was amazing at taking me through some maneuvers and by the end of my first appointment I was able to move without feeling dizzy. After one more appointment a few days later I had no more vertigo symptoms. I highly recommend this facility if you are experiencing vertigo!

Fantastic experience: Staff is amazing here. Truly know their craft and perform it at the highest level. I only went for a month and a half or so to work on some Ankle pain. The work that Salena did in helping me strengthen and stretch appropriately I could have never done on my own and I truly believe couldn’t have been done better elsewhere. Highly recommend.

Dustin evaluated my mother (Jerrie R.) for dizziness and pressure behind the eyes and after a very thorough, professional and gentle process, he was able to narrow down the cause. His manner with her was pleasant and kind and now we know why Dustin is SO highly recommended! He is extremely qualified and knowledgeable and explained exactly what he was doing and why the entire time. After the evaluation, he prescribed exercises for her to do and gave her other options to consider if needed. Everything he said was presented in a user-friendly way and we have confidence that her issues will be resolved after months of searching for answers. The whole experience was so positive, beginning with Shelley at the front desk. She was warm and helpful in making the appointment to the end of our session. Fantastic experience: Dustin is the best PT! I had a referral for one problem, but told him I also had a knee problem from an old surgery 2 years ago and he got right to work on it. After one treatment the pain was significantly reduced to the point that it no longer wakes me up at night. I am so impressed and grateful, especially since my ortho doctor didn't offer any help for this problem!!! I HIGHLY recommend him. The rest of the staff are also helpful and professional in all their interactions.

Fantastic experience: I am so thankful for the amazing staff at Germantown Hills Athletico! From my first phone call with Tina I knew I was in good hands. She was very friendly and helped me figure out my insurance coverage. I was in a lot of pain due to my back problem and Dustin did a thorough assessment to determine what was wrong. After about 2 months of therapy I am happy to say that I am no longer in pain and am able to resume activities that I enjoy such as hiking and working out! Lucas and the other trainers were all very helpful as well. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Fantastic experience: First started with Athletico PT Metamora Germantown Hills in 2014. This was for knee replacement therapy. Over the years have returned for other therapies needed and received comfortable expertise treatments. Results have always been beneficial. Starting at the desk with Tina, and now Shelly. Truly professional and welcoming! Justin, and Salina are spot on with treatments and providing answers for my concerns. Very thorough. The techs are also great assisting in correct form of exercise. Will always rely on care from this facility. Wonderful experiences!

Have been using them since recovery from 1st back surgery in 2016, and continued to use them after 4 additional back surgeries, 2 knee and 1 shoulder replacements since then. Did try someone else for short period in 2021, but they just didn't come close to the expertise, and time/effort the Athletico team has always provided to speed my recoveries. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: I've come to this Athletico office for therapy for each of my shoulders and my knee. All of the therapists have been great and knowledgeable. They are easy to work with and the other staff members are always friendly and helpful. I attend 5 points gym 3-4x weekly and there is an OSF therapy in the gym but I have always preferred driving to this office for better care and better service! I do end up having success with the treatment I receive here also. 100% recommend.

He has been able to help me with more services than just PT to help provide the best care he could. Although, ankle sprains are not the easiest to heal, he constantly changed/ improved my plan to aid in my recovery. Fantastic experience: We have brought everyone in our family to see Dustin and the staff at Athletico. Their helpful assessments have pointed us in the right direction every time, from pelvic rotation and hip flexor issues to IT band problems. They help you get to the root of the problem and then reset your body so it stays healthy with treatment and a plan for maintenance after treatment is complete. Our treatments included stretching and strength work, mobility training, the Graston method to break up some tissue restrictions, and dry needling. Every situation gets full attention, and you are a person instead of just a case number to them. Dustin also has the coolest socks!

Fantastic experience: They have gone above and beyond with helping me make progress for my back, hip and knees! Printing exercises to take home, helping me learn my i Pulse machine for pain relief, stress & Muscle Stimulation so I can do this for myself at home, making phone calls trying to help me get in with an orthopedic doctor for a second opinion on my knees! Friendly knowledgeable staff! Will miss them, but they have assured me to ask if I had any problems or questions after ending my PT! Thanks to everyone there at the E Peoria facility! They were great!

Fantastic experience: Have seen multiple PTs for migrainous vertigo. Dustin and his team have been amazing and is trying to help my vertigo, neck pain and jaw issues. Dustin tried a different therapy for my neck that hadn't been tried before and it is giving me a great amount of relief. I'm very thankful to have such a great team to work with!

Fantastic experience: Working with Dustin, Sydney and Lucas has been an excellent experience! They truly care about their patients and encourage open dialog about what is working and what may require a small adjustment. They know how to push the improvement limits safely and for the patients to work the hardest possible during each session. I truly do not think I would be this far along in my strength and mobility gains without their drive and insistence that I work harder. Initially, I had great concern after a total knee replacement, but they put my fears to rest. I can't leave out the front desk assistant either, as Shelly goes the extra mile in assisting in insurance needs as well as scheduling! A great team at this location!!

She is a true professional, obviously dedicated to her job and extremely knowledgeable. Fantastic experience: I came here down and defeated due to neurosurgeon telling me nothing could b done. Oh, was he WRONG! Dustin Brown has worked wonders with his caring ways, amazing experience with head injury/stroke patients like me, expansive knowledge of exercises to do for each certain area of my body while always being mindful of whether I'm hurting myself or just strengthening my muscles. I couldn't have hand picked a better match to partner with me to enable my healing I came to Dustin walking with a cane, unable to drive, wearing diapers, hurting so badly on left side of body I was in bed most of time, and numb on right side. I am now working with Dustin for 7 1/2 months and able to drive within couple weeks, no pain usually on left but still numb on left but doesn't extend down leg any longer. Tina Morgan is a pleasure to see first thing as u walk in the clinic door. She is so knowledgeable about insurance that she makes it a cinch to deal with that branch of the Healthcare system. She always tries her best to accommodate my schedule when making appts. While I was in vacation, she actually was able to contact my insurance company in order to approve more PT appt as still had a month to get to my insurance benefits renewal. What a great bunch of caring and fun, friendly people to work with! I would definitely refer anyone to work with this bunch to amazing people!!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with my assessment at Athletico near Germantown Hills. Everyone I interacted with was extremely nice and very helpful. Dustin performed my assessment. He was very thorough, I felt that he really took the time to understand my issue and clearly explained how he came to his conclusion. Going in I was worried that I would get a sales pitch after a free assessment, but Dustin laid out a plan of things I could do at home without formal PT. He also walked me through options for next steps if I didn't see improvement. I really felt like he had my best interests in mind. From my experience I would highly recommend anyone to Athletico near Germantown Hills.

Fantastic experience: They are very supportive and understanding of your journey. Therapists are encouraging and friendly. The atmosphere is more like a group of friends hanging out at the gym than a physical therapists place. Highly recommend!!
