Fantastic experience: My sister in law is a resident here and I really love the way the activity department treats her! Heidi and Loretta are awesome! They include her in all their activities. Fantastic experience: My review is based on the help I have received from Monica for my aunt. She has been wonderful in responding quickly to my questions and resolving issues that arise. I am so thankful for her help. I have also enjoyed working with Brian and all of the PT team there. They are so good at what they do and encouraging my aunt.

Fantastic experience: I'm giving a 5-star review for the Pomona Vista team. Alberto and the team facilitated a smooth transfer for my ailing mom and took away a lot of the anxiety associated with navigating California's health care system. The medical and care team were seriously up to speed on Mom's requirements and many medicines and had already built up a detailed profile by the time we first met with them to review the details. Mom gave the thumbs up and we are excited to have found Pomona Vista Vare Center.

Fantastic experience: This review should have been done months ago. My Moms name is Lily she has been under the care of Pomona Vista Care Center since November 2023 (that speaks for itself)... Everyone ALL STAFF is great here! (At PVCC everyone goes above and beyond their daily duties! Starting with Patricia - Thee Beautiful receptionist best Greeter I have ever met, everyone in Andreas office, also everyone who attends to my Mom daily & nightly very Loving (even when my Mom is not being nice!) Especially to: Taline - the Dietary Supervisor (Taline takes her position to heart) Taline is always looking out for my moms interest when it comes to her meals and snacks she is the best always very welcoming! Joana - Activity Director, (Joana first of all her smile is very comforting) she keeps me up to date with my Moms activity condition, or just a simple phone call to update me with any changes going on around my Mom. Monica - Social Worker (Monica takes her position to another level) she is more than a social worker, Monica takes every call or conversation into consideration and handles all with care and immediate outcomes, you will never hear any negative words from Monica, she takes care of all delicately!!! Every day is a hard day when it comes to understanding my Moms condition, and accepting the sad reality of my Mom progressing with the illness she has, but with PVCC I am able to visit my Mom and leave with a deep comfort in my heart that my Mom is in good hands with everyone who attends to her day and night!!! Fantastic experience: My sister was a resident there and the staff treated her like family. She loved to hang out in the activity room. The activities staff always made her feel loved and included. The amount of time they spend with the residents playing games, making crafts, singing karaoke, having meals, etc.. is so important. They made her feel happy, busy and loved. They had events for holidays, birthdays, to make them feel special. My sister was not just sitting in a room or parked in a hallway. She had fun and was treated with dignity and love. I am forever great full to all the staff but especially the activities staff

Negative experience: This is the good : My mom Carmen was at this place for a year and seven months , She really enjoyed her friends that she had there, and she used to get around in her wheelchair and visit everyone lol. She was a very cheerful person and loving, she suffered from dementia . She would spend a lot of time in the activity room with Heidi, and Loretta, there was also another lady named Heidi .and she had a really good nurse Doreen. I did notice that mostly(2) Heidi and Loretta would take care of her during the day and make her happy. They knew exactly what each of the resident liked the songs they liked the food they liked they knew everything about them. I wish there was someway that I could recognize them for everything that they did for my mom, They are such beautiful people The bad: The nurses and the helpers did not take my mom‘s dentures out and brush them daily like they should have and she got thrush in her mouth, and after that, she was never the same, she couldn’t eat, and was put on a feeding tube, she was overmedicated until I finally got them to stop doing this. My mom passed away six months after she was diagnosed with this thrush in her mouth. All I have to say is whatever Nursing Home you have your loved one in, you need to always be there to check up on them every day if you can . I miss my mom so much, not only was she my mother, she was my best friend.

Negative experience: I wish we could give this place ZERO STARS. They are one of the worse places I've ever seen. They do not care for their patients. They don't have any empathy or compassion. Their facility is dirty and very outdated. DO NOT TAKE YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS HERE.

Fantastic experience: I am very thankful and grateful and have nothing but great things to say about the staff and service my mother received at the Pomona Vista Care Center. Everyone was very welcoming and made my mother feel very comfortable. Monica the social worker is very sweet, helpful and knowledgable. Joana, Loretta and the two Heidi's in activities were very fun and caring to my mother and everyone else there too. Her CNA Baltazar was for sure one of her favorites he took really great care of her as well as nurse Edith and Stella. The facility is clean, provides excellent meals and very entertaining for those who want to participate. I would highly recommend Pomona Vista if you or your loved one are in need of a skilled nursing facility.

Fantastic experience: As a professional in the senior living industry, Pomona vista is always top of mind, if I need to refer to skilled nursing. Monica, the SW, is always to inviting and helpful, and Nancy, the DON, is so knowledgeable in her field. I also work closely with Albert, the Liaison, and he truly guides the families through the process of finding care and is always available for them, even after they admit. This is a great option for skilled nursing and rehab!

Negative experience: Not good costumer service

Negative experience: This place is horrible, place does not look nothing like pictures. It is dirty and disgusting, my grandmother was send to this place from the hospital so that her pain could be more under control. She didn’t even last a day there before we took her out . They didn’t even give her anything for pain or listen to her when she needed to go to the restroom. They left her for 4 Hours with a dirty diaper. She asked her nurse for help and she just ignored her. PLEASE don’t let your love one in this place they don’t care about their patients. TERRIBLE PLACE….they don’t realize that because of the patients they have a job , they shouldn't neglect their parents. They don’t t realize that one day they can be in that same situation and would like to be treated with love and respect 0 stars from all my family…..

Negative experience: Horrible place to put your love one. Pay attention to them your love one & pay attention to how much meds they give them . Pay attention to your love ones , eating & drinking. If your love one needs attention HORRIBLE PLACE TO HAVE LOVEONE THERE. I STRESS THAT!!!!! 0 STARS for me!!!! THEY DON'T PAY ATTENTION TO PATIENT. THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE THERE EYES & EARS . NURSES ,CNA'S MED NURSE'S NEED UPDATED TRAINING. THEY NEED COMPASSION TRAINING & TRAINING TO RECOGNIZE WHEN A PATIENT HAVING MENTAL ISSUES SUDDENLY!!! I STRESS THIS!!! Not look at patient like A BIG BUG BOTHER ANNOYING!!! MY LOVE ONE was ignored & labels as basically just a big bother , ESPECIALLY AT NIGHT,MY LOVE ONE WAS FEARFUL AT NIGHT !! STOP just giving anxiety meds & pain meds all WILLIE NILLIE. Need training on change in patients deminor & physical change!!! My love one was regular,and almost lost her Life over medicated. SEE IF THEY DON'T DELETE THIS PART AGAIN!!! IM STILL HAUNTED BY THIS EXPERIENCE TILL THIS DAY so upsetting still ,here we are 3/23 and I have nightmares of my experience with my love one there!! Very LUCKY I /WE DIDN'T TAKE IT ANY HIGHER & GET A LAWYER!! MY LOVE ONE WAS IN SUCH BAD SHAPE AFTER LEAVING THAT PLACE TO ER IN AMBULANCE,WAS TOLD SHE WAS OVERLY MEDICATED & HAD SEPSIS . We FROM DAY ONE MENTIONED PLEASE KEEP EYE ON UTI'S SHE GETS THEM ALOT & CAN GET SEPSIS,NOT ONCE DID THEY CHECK!!!! WHAT WOWS ME IS ,SHE WENT IN FOR to heal from a broken bone, regular in mind comes home almost passing away from NEGLECT!!!!! And messed up some from being overly MEDICATED WOW WOW WOW!! AS I SAID IM STILL HAUNTED TILL THIS DAY AND I CAN'T GET OVER IT 3/23 !!! I took screenshots of my review to see what gets deleted. CNA'S/MED NURSES BE KIND ,HAVE COMPASSION,CARE,BE EYES& EARS , REPORT CHANGE IN PATIENTS DEMINOR, PHYSICAL CHANGE. CNA'S STOP TRYING TO FEED PATIENT WHEN ON SO MUCH MEDICATION & OBVIOUS CAN'T EAT,CHEW LET ALONE SWALLOW WATER EVEN IF HAS Thickener IN IT,WHY BECAUSE PATIENT IS OBVIOUSLY Over MEDICATED !!! IM A CNA,I WAS THERE ,I HAD TO GET MAD AT A CNA FOR STILL TRYING TO FEED HER AFTER I LET HER KNOW MY CONCERNS!!! SHE ACTED AS IF I WAS AN ISSUE!! I HAVE PICTURES & VIDEOS OF MY LIVE ONE REGULAR GOING IN THIS PLACE & AFTER BEING There A MONTH LOOKING LIKE HAD A SEVER MENTAL ISSUES & OVER OVER MEDICATED . WHEN WE DIDN'T GO FOR A DAY,NEXT DSY SHE Looked OUT OF IT, COULDN'T THINK RIGHT & BARELY COULD TALK N EAT. I KNOW MY LOVE ONE & I NEW SOMETHING WAS WRONG NOONE WOULD LISTEN!!! WE HAD Made A MEETING WITH STAFF. SO AFTER THAT LOVE ONE WAS SENT TO ER BECAUSE WAS GETTING WORSE !! STOP IGNORING PATIENTS & FIGURE OUT What's WRONG BEFORE SHOVING MEDS IN THEM. 4/24 update , I’m still Haunted n have nightmares of that scary day my love one made a call to me fighting for her life, barely got to say THEY KEEP DRUGGING ME & NOT FEEDING ME, could hear struggling with cell n cut off. I got there so fast, to MY HORROR, love one was so drugged up couldn’t see straight, recognize me, couldn’t eat let alone chew. She almost died. I’ll NEVER FORGET ALL NURSES MED NURSES ALL TROUBLED ONES ARE ALL filipinos . I don’t regret nothing I say here because it’s THE TRUTH FACT. All the Filipino ladies there need to go to school and get retrained, and if the head lady of the CNA doesn’t see that she needs to be let go herself as the day of the meeting she sure was pissed and bothered what I was saying and try to make any anyway and means to call me a liar. Don’t tell me guilty I don’t know what does!!!! Then she get attitude when we pick up paperwork. And I’m forever gonna keep updating this review.!!!!

Fantastic experience: My Mom was admitted to Pomona Vista Care Center in August for approximately five weeks. We had a chaotic entrance into the facility in that it was after hours and there was a bit of confusion over the course of her treatment, as well as who her supervising physician would be...the situation was eventually straightened out, and it was due to a mixture of factors primarily outside of PVCC's control. From that hectic beginning, we met and interacted with a hard-working, compassionate and dedicated staff of people -- Kay [Raquel] was the charge nurse and Chedale was my Mom's nurse that first night. My 86-year-old Mom was weak and ill, coming off of back-to-back hospital stays. I was scared. This whole situation and nursing facility environment was new and foreign to us. Kay was very compassionate [throughout my Mom's stay] and that night, she was extra sympathetic. It was late, there was confusion generated from the hospital-side, and I was exhausted. Without going into the medical details of my Mom's stay there, I'll just say she needed extra TLC to get stronger and heal; she has dementia, and was sometimes confused and frightened to be in a new environment. Throughout her time there, there were several exceptional nurses, CNAs, Physical therapists and activity specialists who went above and beyond to make my Mom [and me] feel taken care of, listened to and respected. Due to Covid, visitation was limited, but when I was there, I always saw a team of professionals who was constantly on the move. They were always working, running, helping, holding patients' hands [either literally or figuratively] and supporting. The Activities Crew there is top notch -- Joana, Heidi, Loretta, to name a few...all excellent. Heidi, in particular, did so much to make my Mom feel safe and secure. My Mom loves the Bee Gees, and once Heidi found that out, she would often put videos on and sit with Mom to watch...the music and company would relax her, which was a hard task since she was not at home or with her loved ones. The Activities crew are so good at making sure every call is answered, visits are scheduled and families are kept in the loop regarding their loved one's mental status and emotional well being, at least in my experience. There were a ton of nurses, PTs and CNAs who also stood out to me, and made a positive difference in my Mom's care [pardon my spelling...I know some of these names are misspelled, but I would like to mention them, at least]: Myla [so kind and caring], Joffrey [super helpful!], Yvonne [so caring], Merlie, Elsa, Vilma, Saijoo, Vilma, Maria [great CNA, so attentive! She would sometimes sit with my Mom to make sure she ate], Benedett, Anton, Estella...I know I'm forgetting people, but honestly there were too many to count -- people who show up to help, but also have heart. Some even checked on us after my Mom's discharge just to see how she was doing. Thank you to all the staff who took care of my Mom and were responsible for helping to get her on her feet [literally] and safely back home.

Negative experience: This place was recently exposed to covid! Dont take your loved ones here and they abuse them by not giving their meds and or dyalisis treatment but when they do its 4 days late and leave patients stranded out the cold after hours waiting for a ride back to the rehab. Apparently a nurse named lisa isnt doing her job well and scary leaving my grandma that has diabites and needs meds to live. We already made 3 attempts to get the staff to do their jobs properly. And yes my grandma is reciving so called treatment at this sad place. I can verify info this is accurate and current.

Fantastic experience: Pomona Vista Care Center is an amazing skilled nursing facility. Being the Business Office Manager here has been a blessing. Staff are efficient and thoughtful. Patients receive great quality rehabilitation and leave here happy and well.

Fantastic experience: From the nursing staff to Administration, it has always bren a pleasure to work with PVCC. Everytime we recieve patient transport request from the staff and management have been very helpful. We at BMT anticipate and expect a smooth pick up or drop off of their patients, largely due to them willingness to assist us in getting all needed information. Fantastic experience: I’m the SSD and I’m so excited to post my review. PVCC is licensed for 59. We have a family atmosphere. Our guests become our priority as well. Our facility is well maintained. We recently got new paint, pictures, patio furniture & gazebo. It’s definitely looking more beautiful. I’m beyond grateful for the amazing team. Fantastic experience: The most important thing that I keep in mind when choosing a skilled nursing facility is the type of care my patients receive. Pomona Vista has lived up to and exceeded all expectations that I had for a skill nursing facility/rehab. From the care staff to Social Services Director to the director of nursing all have exceeded my expectations. I am the administrator for La Verne Manor Assisted Living facility and I have sent more than 10 patients to be cared for at this facility and my residents have been well taken care of. The communication of the staff has been on point and I know exactly what’s going on with my patient and they are discharged in a timely manner. My patients come back healthier and stronger during their stay at Pomona Vista. I will continue to work with Pomona Vista because I know that my patients will be cared for above and beyond what is expected. Thank you for always taking care of us!

Negative experience: This place is terrible! Not only are there several patients trying to constantly leave, but the overall atmosphere of the place is depressing. They told me that my grandmother did not want to interact with the other patients, but why would she, some of them were screaming, others had suffered from strokes and could not talk. And when i went to tell them that i no longer wanted to have her here, they treated me horribly! So bad that they wouldn't even assist me with a wheel chair to take her to my car. The cleaning staff however, were some of the nicest people in the whole place, thats the reason for my one star.

Negative experience: My father was there worse place ever. .my mom would have to feed him or he wouldn't eat ..nurse would talk in there language in front of my father and us i would ask these to talk english They would talk in English and there language. To my father he only talks spanish they only started to care for him until i was going to call the state the place sucks
