Positive experience: Good place to see a counselor about addiction issues... The group sessions are more like social hour though. But this place definitely did help me get my gears moving and more of a sense of direction. :) they also have NA CA and AA meetings here... Usually at 7 or 8 everyday except saturdays and fridays i think

Fantastic experience: Yes it's Getto but it's a state facility that will cost you nothing. no, the food is not great but it's only for 9 days. Don't listen to all the baby's that are complaining about this and that. They were sleeping in the gutters on heroin yesterday but complaining about this place. I loved the place because I was on heroin and they got me clean. It's a 9 day detox without using an opiates which is the fastest way you will bring your own levels up. You'll be basically asleep in a dream state the whole time. It works , don't be a baby, your saving like $20,000 +. Unless your rich, in that case go to Malibu detox. But the end result is the same... Your clean. Then go right away to a 90 day inpatient. This is mandatory because you will use, your brain needs 90 days clean without a way to get it for you to even have a chance to stay off. Just cause you detoxed for 10 days , does not mean your clean. You still have the depression and about a month of NO sleep to go through. So the 90 day inpatient program after is mandatory. 100%. Good luck, do it , you only get one life, it's worth being clean for it.

They helped me find a clean living home, going on 3 years clean and sober. Was working as a assistant manager, now Manager. You need help don't hesitate call BHS American recovery.

Fantastic experience: This place is great. My counselor was Elsa, she’s amazing. I probably wouldn’t have six years sober now if it wasn’t for her. She helped me see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Fantastic experience: I remembered coming here back on December 3rd, 2018 - March 3rd, 2019 (Technically I completed program March 1st, 2019) I will never forget my 1st time experiencing a recovery center for Behavioral Health Services and maaan I honestly liked it so much (the services wise that is..) sure I had some trouble with a few of my sisters and what not but overall I had a great councilor named April Garcia, during her first year of her counselor residency and she really stuck by my side throughout all the ups and downs and I appreciated everything she helped me accomplish and more! I'd definitely recommend this facility to those in need of REAL recovery... Thank you A.R.C staff and B.H.S

Fantastic experience: I went here 3 times, every 3 years & spent Xmas & New Years here kicking heroin. Since Xmas eve 2000 I’ve been clean & sober. Without this place I would be dead. Is it a palace? No Are the beds luxurious? No Is the food gourmet? Hell no Do they treat you like special fluffy kittens? Um no. But Brenda fed me, I had a bed to lay in, and a roof over my head. Much improved from how I slithered in there. I don’t know what some of the previous commenting addicts lives were like but mine was curbside & sketchy at best. But most importantly I got so much help & support at recognizing the problems & chaos I had been living in wasn’t due to drugs, it was ALL ME. And they provided me With exposure to new habits that I continue to maintain today....meetings, sponsor & sponsorship & being honest with myself & others. “The” rehab is not the solution but it’s a helluva start and I’m eternally grateful to this spot

Positive experience: They treat you good there.the food really sucks though.I ate peanut butter and jelly sandwiches the whole week.they kept me comfortable during my stay.the suboxone really works.

Fantastic experience: People can talk all the trash they want but that only shows how NOT ready they are to really do this! If your serious about getting clean than little things like the intake ladies purple hair won't bother you one bit. I had a great experience especially considering the very low cost in comparison to other facilities! If I ever need help in the future I will always return to a.r.c and will always refer anyone here as well! Thank you a.r.c!
