Fantastic experience: I can only say I left when I should have stayed longer they helped me so much being an addict caused me so much pain and through them I learned how to be responsible I felt like I was a normal human being again I recommend prototypes to any woman in need of getting back their children they are a God's given program I loved it my therapists my counselor and even the psychiatrist helped me learn things about myself I am grateful

Fantastic experience: Ability mad me a orger thats i think a metaphor anyways these guys helped me reconstruct my brain and ik longer need drugs! Thank you girls Reese, Sarah and Gretchen y’all rock!!!! Hope you have an epic year vote you no matter who and let’s have a womansmentalhealthyear

Negative experience: Horrible place with Horrible staff hair in the food constantly messing up special diet/food allergy plates, floor staff plays favorites and power trips and they need to grow up Horrible experience Horrible service find a different rehab if at all possible

Negative experience: This place is horrible, they don't know how to deal with mental health and left me on the streets when I went into a psychosis (I'm bipolar 1) Do Not go here I repeat DO NOT GO HERE THEY ONLY Care ABOUT THE MONEY NOT YOU. I was bullied by my roommates they didn't care I was videotaped by my other roommate they didn't care Than when I went to get my meds and belongings they shut the door and laughed at me (staff) When I finally got my stuff they stole all my clothes except a sweater Please do not go here

Negative experience: Yo no recomiendo al primero las consejeras son amables pero solo es una mascara que tienen puesta. Mi esposa estaba en este centro por una semana y una de las mujeres la acuso que era ladrona que le robó su sueter pero mi esposo tiene testigos que vieron que una de las mujeres que se fue le dió ese suéter a mi esposa. La llevaron a su consejera, su consejera se llama Leslie todas las consejeras son jóvenes y en ves de tomar el lado de mi esposa y ayudar la le dijeron que era ladrona y acusando la le dijeron cosas feas. También cada vez que trate de hablar para ver cómo estaba mi esposa, tenian mi número bloqueado para que yo no hablara con ella y también quizás para que mi esposa no me contara como la estaban tratando y hacen eso para que uno no sepa y tenga conexión y una relación buena con los personas de adentro. Solo tratan bien a las personas que tienen dinero y a las demás las miran como basura y por eso no quieren que sus familiares se den cuenta por eso bloquean los números no visiten ese lugar. I do not recommend the first one, the counselors are kind but it is just a mask they have on. My wife was in this center for a week and one of the women accused her that she was a thief who stole her sweater but my husband has witnesses who saw that one of the women who left gave that sweater to my wife. They took her to her counselor, her counselor's name is Leslie, all the counselors are young and instead of taking my wife's side and helping her, they told her that she was a thief and, accusing her, they said ugly things to her. . Also every time I tried to talk to see how my wife was doing, they had my number blocked so that I would not talk to her and also perhaps so that my wife would not tell me how they were treating her and they do that so that one does not know and have a connection and a good relationship with the people inside. They only treat people who have money well and they look at the rest as trash and that's why they don't want their family members to realize that's why they block the numbers and don't visit that place.

And the following hygiene Shampoo Soap Razors Lotion Eyelashes Eyelash glue Blow dryer Flat iron Curly iron Reusable see through cup No food Pads no tampons Edge control Head scarf No crop tops Tshirts Unlimited kids clothes Shoes Sandals Purse/ back pack Besides lack of communication of what u can bring and can’t bring this place is great. Great staff, great people and I hope this help you all

Fantastic experience: I’m a single women recovering addict homeless with no job and no family with the help of prototypes I was able to get a good paying job and move closer to my kids who are now teenagers I got my life back and I did it because I wanted it you can do it too just call prototypes they will get you back to livening a healthy life God bless you

Negative experience: Never would I return. Not a good place and they let people who use drugs watch your kids what sense is that making they won’t even hire someone to watch the children at the center. They want other ex users, to watch your kid and being that I was there for alcohol. I definitely did not want people who were using heroin and other drug’s watching my kid the staff had favorites. And most were ex drug users themselves I wouldn’t recommend they’re a joke and constantly threaten to tell the court to put people back in jail

Fantastic experience: I had the privilege to experience my first rodeo of rehabilitation here; had the greatest counselors, best organized and place to rest my head safe environment. Peers to look up too. Everything close by Dr office Tad office, hospitable wen I needed to Deliver my baby. Church available with GREAT LEADERS. Made a lot of long lasting friendship. My mindset was PERSEVERANCE, I learned that the exactly meant and ran with it with determination. I encourage you; thinking of self care and not in a position to care for your kids or no foundation structure is And here is where you can start the journey. Good luck zBlessed you will be.- DA

Fantastic experience: 14 years of chronic relapses and desperation. AA is essential for me. But I have complex underlying issues that I was trying to deal with alone. I finally fired myself as my DR, therapist and case manager. You can trust the staff here, I did and they saved my life.

Fantastic experience: I don't know what to say other than I was so happy to have been able to be at prototypes pomona. It was really awesome and it was like a blessing I miss it and don't think I would have been able to be as strong as I am today without remembering the entire staff who were amazing people who were in places that were not so far from the places that we came from so they totally understand what is happening. This blowed didi hirsh pacoima out the water 100% I went there and quit but came to prototypes and completed my 90 days with my best effort. Love you prototypes....wooh

Negative experience: Very unprofessional staff. They mistreat people. My daughter was discharged due to false allegations. This place should be shut down. There's a woman named Lisa there who is said to steal donations that is meant for the clients. Very sad and unprofessional place.

Fantastic experience: Prototypes saved my life and helped me move forward in life. I was there many years ago. Now I have a wonderful husband and my 2 children ❤ I've been sober for 25+ years.

Negative experience: I recently went to visit a "client" here which is a girl friend of mine. Iam still in disbelief of what has happened. First thing Iam a retired/disabled combat veteran of the USN. I showed up on a Saturday for my visit and was mistreated and disrespected by staff right away. My service dog was denied entry. My friends case manager was very lazy and rude to me. I was given 15 minutes to visit after driving an hour and a half. A few days later I was just about pushed away by staff when I went on Wednesday to drop off cigarettes and money) this is the one day a week that people can show support by taking clients supplies & $. Now IAM being told that my friendw supposively caught smoking a cigarette when she was not supposed to and had her visits and phone calls taken for an undetermined amount of time. Not only does this sound like nonsense, it's unconstitutional and in turn means the clients are actually being treated worse than inmates are in jail or prison. Iam attempting to contact supervisers and Program directors at this time to find out what the policies and standards are for ALL CLIENTS. Something doesn't seem right about this place. Each and every time I call and or go to the facility I've been treated very inappropriately. Very, very sad! Seems to me in my experience this can have a negative and adverse effect on somebody in Active recovery. If anyone has any further information that may be useful to me I would appreciate it.

Positive experience: They treat you like inmates instead of someone who trying to better themselves..I was neglected by my counselor as well my dusghter cuaght hand foot and mouth desease from there very un s sanitary ....they also did .Not have working air compressor ditioning half the time even in the daycare center in over one hundred degree weather

Fantastic experience: I've been a client at prototype for 9 months now ,is my first program I've ever been to and may be my last,the program is made for those that actually want it or need it. Not a place to come take a vacation or a place to stay at for the time being,i have tooken advantage of everything that was being offered to me,my therapy my one on ones with my counselor my case manager is my support team along with the facilitator who teach me about "seeking safty" "Moral recognition therapy" "DBT" "Helping woman recovery" things i never knew,prototype has save my life gave me a safe environment and taught me how to be responsible in my life,im sober and happy something i never in a million years though i would be..thank you for everything prototype i love you guys for it..

Negative experience: As a professional visitor to this facility, I'm highly unimpressed. They fail to accurately communicate policy and dates when visitation will not permitted, even when court mandated. They frequently fail to return calls or emails requesting details / information on said policies.

Positive experience: You have to try it for yourself I learned a lot but one thing is for certain they help women get there kids back don't leave before the miracle happens

Negative experience: I unfortunately got my counselor switched to Irene. Miss Irene she is a large African American woman with a Dennis Rodman hair do. She is a miserable rude woman! I don't understand how she keeps her job every single person I have spoken with hates her and says how very rude and nasty she is. She talks to me like I'm the scum on the bottom of her shoes. She has absolutely no compassion. She totally disregards everything I say, always talks down to me, I actually everyone I hear her speak to she talks down to and is very very rude!! She makes me feel so uncomfortable that it hinders my recovery. I have asked to be switched counselors and I'm told it can't be done. She should not be a counselor!!! Prototypes is already a unorganized unprofessional center so I guess that's why they keep people like Irene employed. Substance abuse counselors are suppose to help and not harm and Irene and Prototypes have gravely failed!

Negative experience: Seems . babymama.. just learned better way to complete ly avoid helping or even seeing her daughters. At all .. She even filed taxes. Convinced me to hand her on r daughter s scc#./ claim ed. Them .. I'm guessing..... So as soon as they gave her free rent. Found her. a job ... She. Managed to erase us from her habits . again .. She doesn't sound . sick at all to me.! I. . I wasn't eve n planning on putting her on child support.. Obama Care. Watevervuvwamba call it... Black life's matter type of. Bulll....

Negative experience: Initially things seemed great they were able to get my family member into the program quickly. However, since the day she was enrolled it's been very difficult trying to get information on how visiting and drop off procedures work. The counselor for my family doesn't seem to be available to speak with and doesn't return calls. Receptionist gives you the run-around and is always reading from a script in an attempt to answer a question but the information provided is never relevant to the question asked. Also, I'm not allowed to speak with any other staff to have my questions answered because the receptionist continues to tell me to just wait for the counselor to call me back because the other counselors have their own clients and families to deal with. So if a counselor is out or unavailable her caseload isn't handled temporarily by another counselor? It's a very frustrating situation and while we definitely are grateful for the recovery help, a clear line of communication would make Prototypes a five star program. Instead, I find myself wondering if we made a mistake. I hope the communication with their clients is better than the communication with client families.

Negative experience: Very unprofessional staff that don't care about their patients. Do yourself a favor a don't come to this place.

Negative experience: Had several women who in rolled for help, the staff is completely Unprofessional. The staff mistreat the people they are supposed to help. They talk down the the patients. They lie about visitors.I would and do tell anyone to go someplace else. This place needs to be shut down.

Fantastic experience: I graduated from prototypes 11 years ago. And still till today I'm very greatful to this program. I highly recommend prototypes to any one that wants the help. I didn't want the help, and through out my whole stay there , I wanted to go back out. But by the grace of God I celebrate 11 years on November 22nd only some one that has relapsers or some one that was kicked out will down talk on prototype . they thought me the value of going to a simple store trip. They thought me not to depend on any one but you're self , they though me the value of a dollar, they thought me to value my self ,my kids, my life.and I love life PS. My name is Giovanna Hernandez.
