Fantastic experience: In my experience, this medical office is very well run. The front desk staff is friendly and efficient, taking the extra time when necessary to address more complicated non-medical issues. The medical staff I have interacted with have been, on the whole, superb. Dr Okazaki is a great physician. He listens attentively, communicates well, is knowledgeable, and clearly cares deeply about both patient care and patient experience. The medical support staff members I have encountered (mostly nurses, I think) have also been very good.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Okazaki at Pomona Valley Health Center at Claremont is amazing. The staff is kind and courteous. So understanding and helpful. Dr. Okazaki is compassionate and great at communicating what he is doing and why. Also very responsive to what is going on with me as a patient. I am a new patient and I love the process and being able to get everything done in a timely fashion.

Fantastic experience: Love Thuy Bach as a Dr and as just a person in general. Comes in with positive energy every time! She always gets me in and out with my questions and concerns answered and my problems solved. I never feel like I'm being being judged for being seen regardless of what I'm being seen for.

Fantastic experience: It’s always a pleasure coming to the Claremont office. Dr. Thuy Bach and all the nurses are wonderful.

Fantastic experience: The office staff was great, they got me in quickly, and made my follow-up appointment just as quickly on the way out. The M.A. was patient and took time with me to try to get a lower B.P. reading. The P.A. was also patient and willing to listen, taking her time to figure out the right diagnosis. All in all, it was a very satisfying experience.

Positive experience: I went in for an ultrasound. Donna was amazing! She went above and beyond to make me feel at ease. She is detailed and thorough.

Negative experience: Doctor Bach was great. However, the front desk and Nurse were incompetent and lazy. Need to check on your email issues and communication between the Nurses and Front Desk. We waited for a school entrance exam form the entire visit to find out it was in fact received by the front desk, but they never printed it and brought it back to the Nurse or Doctor. The Nurse never checked with the front desk. Then they refused to ask the Doctor to fill out the form when we were checking out. It’s literally the only reason we scheduled a visit and waited two months for our appt. Do better by your patients or they will find other practices to spend their money.

Negative experience: Patel, did not listen to the patient. We know something was wrong. Suspected a UTI and Was sent home with no prescription next day ended up in the ER and placed on IV and was able to get the care that was needed

Fantastic experience: Omg...I was so hesitant in to picking a new and primary doctor for the first time. But I knew I had to do it in order to get myself on track ...ok my father-in-law picked Dr Okasaki and it was the best thing he did for me...This Dr..for my first time I felt like he really cared and honestly I been around some negative people.. But Dr.okasaki gives me hope and I'm happy I chose him...One month followup and will keep everyone posted on my progress...Thank you Dr.Okasaki and staff

Negative experience: Front desk was rude. First time seeing this Dr and did not even look me in the eye and ask how I was. Very robotic and impersonal. Will not be coming back. Very disappointing.

I was very concerned about my health situation, but Dr. Okazaki listened carefully to all my concerns and provided the reassurance I needed. He explained that with some changes to my diet and regular exercise, I could manage my condition effectively. Dr. Okazaki's calm and understanding demeanor made me feel at ease, and I left the appointment feeling relieved and optimistic. Negative experience: Ms. M. Patel was new to me and she did not introduce herself to me. She barely acknowledged me. It was literally what do you want, this is what we will do, and the nurse will be back with you. She did not probe with any follow-up questions what so ever. I was on time for my appointment yet I barely got 5 minutes with her. I am very offended by this experience. The assistant Violet also did not introduce herself. I had to ask her. This is usually how the experience is with the nurses. I love my PCP T. Kilbas, but I will not see Ms. Patel again.

The office sent me reminder text messages and a confirmation for the appointment. I was seen by Manisha Patel, PA-C, who is always very thorough and professional and passionate about providing good medicine. I always feel that I am getting very good care from her.
