Negative experience: This place is a joke. You ask 10 people the same question and you get 10 different answers. I was transferred from RI Hospital after surgery the 2 nd day I slid out of bed and landed on the floor. Pushed the button and waited 2 hours for help. Sure there are some good people there but few and far between. I would stay away.

Negative experience: Do not trust this place with your loved ones. They are part of the reason why my sister isn’t alive

Fantastic experience: Caitlin has been here several years and knows how to resolve any issues I have. I think the Ambassador program should always be available!

Positive experience: I've been here at Summit Commons for a little over 3 months. Its taken some time for my recovery and rehabilitation to begin because I had to heal from an infection and BKA surgery. The staff here are amazing, the physical and occupational therapy team is amazing. I've really enjoyed my time here. Grateful for all that have helped me in my journey.

Fantastic experience: This is the best place ever. When I first came here I couldn’t do anything for myself. This place saved my life. There are so many incredible staff here and the therapy team was amazing!!

Fantastic experience: I have spent an amazing month with the most amazing caring kind loving talented staff at a beautiful facility.when I first arrived at summit I couldn't walk at all but after about 2weeks of physical therapy and loving supportive kindness I was able to walk and take my first steps to being able to walk again. I also lost my son unexpectedly while I was at summit and I cannot express the absolute kindness an genuine thoughtfulness an support I received from the entire staff they made me feel that I could talk to them an unload all my pain an sadness an suffering onto them an I they all always made me feel that I could trust them all an they all helped me work thru my depression I knew I could just be able to cry an pour out my hurt n feelings out to them an they all opened their hearts an showed me their kindness an caring for me at the worst time of my life to me they are EARTH WALKING ANGEL'S AND I COULD NEVER EXPRESS THE GRATITUDE I HAVE FOR THE ENTIRE STAFF ALL THE WAY FROM MAINTENANCE,HOUSEKEEPING FOOD SERVICE TO ALL THE WAY UP TO ALL THE CNAS NURSES DOCS AND SECRETARIES AN SOCIAL WORKERS AN AMBASSADORS ETC I LOVE YOU ALL DEARLY FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY ❤️ HEART ❤️❤️ SINCERLY CRYSTAL KLEKOT

Negative experience: my late husband Jim was there for rehab, worst place ever, he was given the wrong medicine for his butt, by a C.N.A. she said she thought it was his because it was near his closet, it burned him so bad & all they could say was they were sorry, I told them if that C.N.A. even tried taking care of my husband again I would see my lawyer, were they get their help is beyond me, they don't even speak English most of them.

Negative experience: Thankfully my mom will be out of this place I can't say how bad this place is in short best way to say what I want is if u need rehab and have loved ones that need rehab services please by all means avoid this place u will wait hours for medicine so if u are supposed to have meds at 6 don't expect it until at least 3 to 4 hours later due to short staffed rehab and they can't even keep others informed and No ones seems to have communication skills your loved ones and u deserve better please take this seriously and don't say I didn't warn you.

Positive experience: My mom is at this nursing home but they seem to be very good they accommodate her with everything that she needs and their short staff but they really try I meant a lot of nice people there that work there

Positive experience: My Grandmother has been here since September. We have had such wonderful care from her daytime staff. We watch her face light up when Sheila and Dee, Bill and Boimah and Beatrice come in throughout the day/evening. Sheila dances with her while getting her from her bed to her chair to get her moving her legs. Dee always comes in with a friendly smile and takes the extra time to make sure all is well. Bill and Boimah are always there to make sure her needs are met and to answer our questions...and Beatrice, I can’t begin to say how grateful we are for her! Making the decision to put a loved one in a nursing home is not always easy, but Beatrice has been with her since day one and has made this transition so much easier!! She’s always there with a gentle loving touch to make sure my grandmother is always well cared for and comfortable. These are traits that families look for when it comes to their loved ones and these wonderful staff members always put us and my grandmother at ease! Thank you, thank you, thank you to these 2nd floor staff member!

Negative experience: This place is lacking in so many areas I dibt know where to start..My Dad was a patient and his personal care was horrible..I had ti ask them to cut his nails and bath him because he smelled..The CNAs are no where to be found and should have proper inservices about cleanliness...I regret putting my Dad in this place they just don't care.

Negative experience: Unfortunately I had to be placed here because I hurt my back. It was a horrible experience the CNA's need to be trained again they can't make a bed and the food is horrible I would not recommend this place. SORRY!!

Negative experience: This place doesn't even deserve a star, it should be a negitive 50. I would not leave anyone or anything thing at this place. The staff does not care at all about the patients. This place should be shut down!!! Disgusting

Negative experience: Awful place.if I could give it a 0 I would. Do not put your loved ones in here. My mother was in here for close to 6 weeks. Their doctor refused to called me numerous times regarding her care despite being told to by management there and the alliance. There were 1 or 2 good nurses however the rest were awful. She had an order to have 4 breathing treatments a day and 2 as needed. They were not consistent at all with following the doctors orders ans at times forgot to give her them. My mother would call me , hardly breathing and ask me to call for one. Ridiculous! Her blood levels showed she needed a blood transfusion for 3 weeks and the dr kept saying she was fine. I am in the process of filing a complaint with the health department even though they do not seem to care about the patients well being in these facilities. I dont know how this place is still open & running.

Negative experience: I would give this place a zero if it would let me. My dad went there after he was released from the hospital he went there for antibiotics thru his port it was supposed to be given every four hours which it was not. He also had a bilirubin tube that needed to be flushed twice a day we had to pitch a fit to get that done. His tube even leaked and they would make him sit in wet bandages. We ended up getting him out of there as soon as we could my brother and I paid for the rest of the antibiotics out of pocket to be done at home. When we did get him home we discovered that they sent us home with someone else’s medicine. I called she told me to bring it back and she would give me my dads. I brought it back I watched her open the draw get my dads medicine out and I watched her put the other patients medicine right back in the draw. Are you kidding me that medicine should of been put in the trash. And I have pictures of all this stuff that went on. Shut it down!!!!!!

Positive experience: My boyfriend chose to go to Summit back in June to rehab from a leg surgery. He was also a cancer patient. We had minor concerns when he was first admitted at 7 pm. However the staff immediately did what they could to make his transition easier and his next 30 days there were wonderful. No one likes to be at a rehab/nursing home and it did bother him to be there but he felt very comfortable. The staff checked in on him consistently, the PT was fantastic, they were thorough and engaging. We found the nurses and CNA's to be kind and compassionate. The women at the front ALWAYS greeted the family warmly when we arrived. I would recommend this facility to anyone.

Negative experience: I will say nothing good about this place. There are so many issues, workers treated like a rag throwing me around after cleaning the bed pan. Bed pans sometimes it took 45 minutes to get one or 45 minutes to have it cleaned. There is a big language barrier between the workers and the patients. I was there for three days before I was even washed. Its a bad place stay away......

Negative experience: I wouldn't even give this place one star.. its awful. Staff is ride and they treat their patients horrible. Wouldn't suggest anyone sending anyone to here.

Fantastic experience: Great organization

Negative experience: My mom was their for a week. They'd never answered the patients bell. No phones in the rooms so patients can call their loved ones. Had to get mom's a cell phone. Mom would per on herself every day more than 3 times and they would leave her. Don't recommend this place at all. Had to report them..

Negative experience: Very bad place to put anyone. I have a file of paper work on this place.. Anything i say about it i can back up my words. Very very very bad. Poor management..
