Fantastic experience: I've been getting help from there since 93 or 94 it's been a journey but grateful

Positive experience: The lady working the front desk refused to give help to two individuals during my son's visit. There is hot line information that needs to be offered, most individuals will not say it's urgent. There seems to be confusion about the Thursday 1pm walk in, my son was also told after 1pm not at 1pm from the hospital. Once you are signed up, then they seem to be very helpful! Hope they can offer more training to staff or create a current, simple brochure.

Positive experience: I think wasatch mental health is all around an amazing place I have an awesome case worker who just calls me randomly and offers a variety of help or just makes sure I'm ok. My doctor there is the first doctor who actually listened to me and helped me get on the right meds I needed plus my therapist is someone I can tell anything to and its up to me if I want to meet weekly , every other week or monthly. And I love how I receive a text message to remind me of any and all appointments starting two days before my appointment . If I had to complain about anything it would be the people in the nurses station they always treat me rude and I have witnessed then treating lots of people rude and they don't help like they should when I need to pass a message to my doctor

Negative experience: If you use the pill box nurses station to pick up your medication. Count your medication before leaving, the nurses are miscounting and or pocketing narcotic medication.

Negative experience: The nurses at the pill box are rude and the doctors especially Doctor mell a female God playing man hating witch. I've been belittled and have been put down. My mental health has declined and deteriorated. I hate myself more now that I am involved with them

Fantastic experience: Jake and serina have really made a permanent positive impression in my life. Even tho they are over worked overbooked and underpaid, their dedication is amazing as well as enthusiastic. Truly I feel they deserve the very best, because they are always available and seems like they can reach a wide audience of people.

Fantastic experience: I see both a great therapist and Doctor for medication here. I must say that myself, my family, and my life has been made better. If not a little easier knowing that people who genuinely care, are here to help me in more ways than just listening to my Blah Blahing. Thank you.

Negative experience: The doctors are okay, but office management is absolute garbage, and that's being nice about it. Everything is done by paper, with the exception of one or two quwstionares. If you need anything done quickly, don't count on it. Need a letter or note for work or school? Expect to wait about 2 weeks. It should also be mentioned that having everything done by paper raises a few serious security concerns. Words on paper aren't encrypted... Avoid this place if you can. If you can't, fill out a grievance form ASAP.

Negative experience: I go in after being referred for an eval, and the staff lady I was talking to at the front desk was incredibly short and rude towards me. I was turned away due to insurance and still turned away after offering to pay cash for this. This place deals with people of all kinds of mental health issues and does not show a single ounce of willingness to work with you or compassion.

Negative experience: Staff were unprofessional and were short with me every time I called. They acted annoyed by my questions and gave me vague answers. One one experience they hung up on me as soon as my questions were answered. Very unprofessional.

Fantastic experience: Dr Hunter has been my Dr for over 5 yrs and he is the best Dr I know! He actually cares about his patients. He doesnt judge like most Drs! The people working at the front desk need more training though!! I waited over 2 hours in the lobby waiting for my appt later found out the guy working forgot to put my appt I made in the computer! Dr Hunter and Dr Peterson at Wasatch are really awesome Drs!

Fantastic experience: A thorough platform to assess, treat, and find ways for you to take control of your own life. I recommend giving them a chance and seeing where they can take you.

Fantastic experience: They have some of the most friendly caring staff at their receiving/crisis center. I felt like i was safe and i. Good hands there and feel like they will be more than willing to help me if i go back in if ever needed. Definitely recommend the receiving center if you need a safe place for the night and someone to talk to

Fantastic experience: The staff is awesome they are always so cheerful and their always sympathetic towards me especially if I'm having a bad day. The always find me appointments that work around my schedule.

Fantastic experience: Doctor Walker has been my Family Doctor for three years now! He and has staff have always been kind to me, and I don’t ever want another Doctor taking care of me or my family.

Therapy isn’t just for people with “issues” I think every one should go to therapy, the world would be filled with more people who understand themselves better. The self improvement/therapy and even their emotional regulation classes are some of the best I’ve taken with very knowledgeable staff. They do their best to help everyone with whatever your needs may be. The medical offices and pharmacy are great too! I wouldn’t go anywhere else or trust anyone else when it comes to my mental health.

Fantastic experience: Wasatch Mental Health is a superb substitute organization for any who grew up when Mormons met at the ward house many days during the week. Most of the clients I have met and talked to have been going here for years and participate in more than one kind of therapy. I am looking for something more short term and aggressive. The DBT group did not work out for me, although I can say it was very spiritual and a lot like LDS Relief Society.

Fantastic experience: Our family has been going here for several year's would just like to say the front desk ppl are awesome, be nice ask them how they are doing as they help you instead of screaming at them about your problems you'll get alot further, and big shout out to Wendy for being SO great with our 13 year old autistic kiddo and would love to thank Dean for being such a great listener :)

Negative experience: They try, got some really good people. Got one not so good person, too. It stays bad if you don't complain, might get worse if you do. Can't tell if the not so good one was bad on purpose or didn't notice they are doing harm. Don't know which is scarier. All I know is, I don't trust it won't happen again. How do you go into this job and not know better than to step on people who come to you for help? It wasn't tough love. It was only harmful. Got a good person now, but I can't forget the bad one is still there. I am afraid. Already tried to complain. Front desk was rude. No one else seemed interested. Took months to find out there even is a complaint process. Already don't trust it'll do anything except maybe get me retaliation. I need help, but I regret going here for it.

Negative experience: They refused to help my husband with the treatment he needed that was recommended by four doctors. I literally had to change my address and move to Salt Lake where they recognized the treatment. Wasatch mental health is horrible. So many of their employees just don't care. some of them really do but it's scary to think how awful the help is, for something they should understand as mental health employees. So many of them are uneducated. And I've been dealing with them for the past 10 years. The best service is in Salt Lake and at the University of Utah.

Negative experience: Wasatch Mental Health was contacted several times by myself, my landlord, and the Provo Police concerning an individual they placed in my apt. complex. This man threatened tenants, had knives, a gun, and 2 axes confiscated by the Provo pd. He took over the 2nd floor landing to the extent of sleeping outside and using a motorcycle helmet for a toilet. His apt. is covered in witchcraft symbols and food plus who knows what else is splatted all over the walls.Last Thursday night he plugged up all his faucets at 2 am and flooded his apt and mine which is underneath. The police chased him down, arrested and hopefully he has enough charges this time to keep him for a long time. I'm trying to get my life back to normal. Wasatch has always had a bad rep and now I know why. The caseworkers are pathetic and should find a new line of work. Wasatch is a pitiful joke.
