Orem Sports Medicine Center: Bushnell Physical Therapy

Fantastic experience: Braidon is a great therapist. He knows exactly which exercises I need and is so encouraging as I do them. I’m glad I’m going to Bushnell Physical Therapy as it is a great place and only 3 minutes from my home.

Fantastic experience: This is a very friendly and easy PT to visit! I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and am hypermobile (I subluxate joints very frequently) and the people here are so much more knowledgeable on what accomodations that means I need. I enjoy the aides that help facilitate my continuing exercising, and getting to interact with a few of the other patients in the main exercise room. (Especially the girl with a lovely singing voice!) It's a very tidy place, kept really nice and sanitary between patients, and they check in with me continuously to see if I have any questions or additional needs they can help with. I'll definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: Matt is awesome! I love coming here! I had surgery on my shoulder following a motorcycle accident and I was recommended to this office by my surgeon. Matt is super knowledgeable and kind, and he's very good with shoulders. One thing I appreciate so much about this physical therapy office is that they don't overbook so that you're not waiting super long (other places I've been to you I've been waiting over an hour to be seen) here I've never waited longer than 5-10 minutes which is incredible! The other staff are always very friendly and helpful. 100% recommend Matt and his office for physical therapy (he has other great PTs working here too- I have a friend that gets treatment who says great things about the other PTs)

Fantastic experience: The front staff did a great job in researching out what my insurance would do and were friendly and helpful in getting appointments quickly. The helping staff were right on top of their schedules and showed great care and concern. Therapist Dan Lillywhite was knowledgeable on what I specifically needed and really took the time to measure, work my injury, create home exercises and answer my many questions. The Orem facility is top notch and kept very clean. If you’re looking for a physical therapy group, this is the place to go!

Negative experience: They are so overbooked and poor communicators. I was told they would be calling with in 48 hours of my Dr appointment, then ended up calling myself. I got through to Kylie, she hung up on me. When I returned the call she told me I could get in the next day - come to find out, she got the weeks wrong. I drove 25 minutes (one way) out of my way for her incompetency.

Fantastic experience: Being an RN, it's hard to be the "patient" ...knee replacement by a great surgeon, but I have developed alot of fibrosis (scar tissue) so, I'm a challenging case. Bushnell P.T. develop an individual plan of care, and change it up to keep you progressing. They make you #1 from greeting to finish, they care about YOU! They have the most high tech, up to date rehab equipment, you will be amazed at the amount. The staff are highly trained, and you see a licensed professionals at every visit. Their treadmill pool is fantastic. They sanitize everything, it is very clean. I have been to both P.T. locations and my comments are meant for both.

Fantastic experience: I have gone to Bushnell Physical Therapy for many years for different needs. Casey Saunders has been my physical therapist the whole time. The therapists and staff are all so knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Their Orem facility is so beautiful, with every possible piece of equipment. I had back surgery 18 months ago, but I am still going there using their Maintenance Program. I would recommend Bushnell Physical Therapy to anyone and everyone.

Fantastic experience: During this past year, I’ve required surgery on both of my feet, followed by several weeks of physical therapy in order to regain mobility & function, as well as decrease pain. Bushnell Physical Therapy in Orem has been very helpful in literally getting me back on my feet! I highly recommend therapist Megan, who put together a personalized PT plan that fit my needs. Megan and the staff assistants were always so cheerful and willing to help me with the exercises, heat/cold therapy, etc. If I ever need further PT in the future, I won’t hesitate to go back to Bushnell PT in Orem again!

Negative experience: I am a retired competitive powerlifter, and the reason why I'm giving these guys 2/5 is because of the ineffective methods they used to treat my golfer's elbow. They didn't directly address the cause of the problem (which you should, since my sport is specific), they just proceeded with what I felt were default methods of treatment. They didn't even put me under a barbell to screen me for the triggers for my elbow pain! After about 2-3 months of passive treatments (dry needling, scraping, heat application, etc.) my pain did not subside. At all. Not even a bit. Despite their persistent insistence that I keep coming for treatment, I stopped going. Turns out, the pain went away when I RESTED from training... Money and time wasted. I don't think these guys treat any or a lot of powerlifters... If you're a competitive strength athlete, find some other folks to go to who KNOW how to tell if all you need is to take a break from lifting to remedy your pain...

Fantastic experience: Great people to work with. Everyone was very helpful. Did several months of therapy for a ham-string injury. They worked with me and my schedule and tried new things when I seemed to plateau with my recovery. Friendly and knowledgeable.

Kasey helped me progressively get me back to 100% after a stress fracture and some other muscle problems. He has also had some experience with sports so he knows how frustrating it can be getting injured in the middle of a big season. Everyone here, including the aids, listen to what your saying and are willing to try anything to get you back on your feet as soon as you can! Thank you!!!

I never had to wait for than 5 minutes to be helped once I got here and even once I got back to the table they had me at, never waited longer than 5 or so minutes to see Casey. I got to see a couple different therapists and they're all great but I primarily worked with Casey so I can vouge that he is a great therapist and really cares about helping you make progress in your recovery, not just doing the routine work. I'm doing a LOT better now and really appreciate all the team and how friendly and professional they all are!! I felt like I was visiting friends when I came in, it was awesome! 10 out of 10 would recommend! Thanks guys!
