Positive experience: I loved my postpartum stay at Utah valley hospital. You know those stories that they come in every 2 minutes and annoy you so you can’t sleep? Not true at all here! It was my third baby and i was so stressed that i would be up my whole stay getting woken up by nurses. I was so shocked that they quietly come in and then peek to see if you are sleeping and then THEY LEAVE if you are! I never thought a hospital would have that policy but I’m soo grateful for it. During delivery i loved my nurse Amy she was so kind and sweet. We talked each others ears off and it was just a calming interaction. I took away one star because i feel like Dr. Rees could work on his bed side manor. As soon as he walked in the room he shook my husbands hand and talked with him for a solid 5 minutes before even acknowledging me. Another thing was there was a med student which i said i was fine with the observation. Where i am upset is after delivery Dr. Rees just pulls the med student forward and lets him guide my placenta out. Without asking if it’s okay if the med student can touch me/try to do that. Lastly, when i asked what he was doing at one point after delivery, he looked very annoyed that I’d ask such a question. And responded in a clipped tone. The main thing is i feel he could work on asking before touching his patients and letting them know hey im going to start stitching you.

Negative experience: I have seen and experienced some of the worst care at this particular hospital. They tend to use a lot of words like, refusing instead of choosing! Apparently choices have gone out the window ‍♀️ I’m confused why we as people have to be held accountable for what we do in our lives but none of these facilities have to! If I wouldn’t have been able to speak up for myself and question their treatment, I might not be here right now! So sad that the world has become such a cruel greedy mess

Negative experience: My husband was admitted to Utah valley for severe abdominal pain. While in the emergency department the doctors found a large mass on my husbands right kidney. The doctors said that the tumor was not contributing to his symptoms and they subsequently found it. They sent us home without a clear answer as to why he was having abdominal pain. We schedule an EGD and Colonoscopy to try and get answers. Nothing came of it so I asked the doc that did his EGD if they could take some blood work to see if he possibly needed a blood transfusion because while at the hospital 4 days prior his hemoglobin was severely low. But the doctor told me that because they didn’t find anything they would not do blood work for me. They sent us home and within 10 minutes of being home my husband starts projectile vomiting and goes into shock. Once we got to the hospital he was in liver failure and kidney failure and we were planning for end of life. Even after this they sent us to a nursing facility 6 different times from the hospital because they didn’t know what was wrong with him. Fast forward to now he is a paraplegic due to his cancer progressing because of the delay in care that you guys gave. Do better.

Fantastic experience: My grandma was life-flighted to this hospital from her hometown after she had a massive stroke. My wife and I went to visit her and the extended family that was there last night, and the staff are so good to her and all of us that visited. They made the sad experience of seeing her in such a bad state more bearable and happier. I can only speak for myself when I say that I am so glad that she is cared for by such amazing people who care about the people they work with. It means a lot to me and my family.

Response from Intermountain Health: Makay, thanks for taking a moment to leave us this review, we really appreciate it. Thank you for giving us 5 stars!

Negative experience: I called to request a price estimate for my surgery and was treated with shocking rudeness. The staff member I spoke with was overbearing, dismissive, and repeatedly talked over me, making me feel belittled. This level of disrespect is unacceptable, especially for patients trying to make informed decisions about their healthcare. I ultimately had to hang up because of how disrespected I felt. This experience has completely destroyed my trust in this hospital, and I will be seeking care elsewhere. No one should endure such treatment when reaching out for basic information.

Utah Valley Hospital

Response from Intermountain Health: Brycen, we're very sorry to hear about your experience but are grateful for your feedback and the chance it gives us to improve. Fantastic experience: I absolutely can not say enough about how good my experience was with you yesterday. So much kindness and efficiency. From the triage nurse in the ER to Dr. Camp and nurse Megan to the ultrasound tech, Elise to the surgeon, Spencer Hill and the anesthesiologist and to all the nurses in the OR. I felt so safe and cared for. I can't think of anything you could improve on! I hope you can express my gratitude to all these people

Negative experience: Worst hospital on the planet. They let their security guards harass the patients and let them get away with it they won’t even give me the names of the guards the harassing and assaulting me they are a public entity and will not release the videos of them harassing me. after major back surgery they think they are above the laws and can get away with anything they want I know the reasons why don’t want to release the videos to is because they don’t want anyone to see how badly they run a hospital and how they don’t care about patients they only care about the money I highly suggest using an any other hospital….

Positive experience: I ended up being transferred here from Moab Regional so I could get my gall bladder removed. The first set of nurses I had when I arrived were a little questionable but overall I received great care! They were able to remove my gall bladder and handle the small complications that I had. I was treated great & everything was clean.

Fantastic experience: Went to SF hospital because my sons tonsils started bleeding, they didn't do anything about it to close the wound properly even after showing them pictures of how much he was bleeding. Brought him to UVH that same week because the bleeding came back and turns out it was an open blood vessel that wasn't closed properly. They got my son into surgery that same day and we got released that same day. Very thankful for the doctors and nurses that took care of my son.

Negative experience: I am writing to express my deep concern and frustration regarding the lack of communication and support from Utah Valley Regional Medical Center concerning the ongoing treatment of my family member who has received care in your inpatient psychiatric ward. As a family member striving to provide the best possible quality of life for my loved one diagnosed with a mental illness, it is heartbreaking to experience such significant barriers in communication. We have encountered multiple instances where our attempts to reach out to the assigned therapist have gone unanswered. Despite our persistent efforts to connect and obtain crucial information regarding ongoing medical treatment and therapy, our phone calls have remained unreturned. This lack of communication not only hinders our ability to support our family member but also raises concerns about the commitment to patient care that we expect from your esteemed facility. It is disheartening to witness such practices that can profoundly affect the well-being of those we are trying to help. I urge you to address this matter with the seriousness it deserves. Open lines of communication are essential for the continuity of care and for families like ours who are navigating the complexities of mental health treatment. We hope to receive timely responses to our inquiries and a commitment from your team to improve this situation.

Positive experience: My experiences here are mixed. I will give these tips (warnings): 1. MAKE SURE TO HAVE A LOVED ONE MONITORING YOU AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. WORK OUT SHIFTS WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS. 2. QUESTION EVERYTHING THEY DO. LOOK UP SIDE EFFECTS OF DRUGS THEY ADMINISTER AND ASK FOR ALTERNATIVES TO DRUGS WITH MAJOR SIDE EFFECTS. 3. EXPECT TO BE OVER SOLD AND BILLED. THEY WILL GIVE YOU LOTS OF UNECCESSARY SERVICES. IF YOU ARE PAYING OUT OF POCKET, QUESTION NECCESITY OF WHAT THEY ARE DOING. 4. EVERY PERSON HAS SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS SO IT IS DIFFICULT TO GET ANSWERS ABOUT ANY QUESTIONS UNLESS IT IS IN THEIR JOB DESCRIPTION. 5. IF YOU ARE A FEMALE AND YOU GET A MALE NURSE FEEL FREE TO REQUEST A FEMALE NURSE IF YOU ARE UNCOMFORTABLE WITH A MALE. Be prepared to demand help and better care. They are like all hospitals understaffed, over worked and prone to desensitization due to the environment.

Negative experience: Not impressed with communication. They never helped with any mental issues for patient. I had to ask for someone to clean room. And while there rarely did I see a nurse even step in the room. I got a real clear picture of how they treat people who struggle with issues. So very frustrated.

Fantastic experience: Went to instacare for initial concerns and then brought me down to the ER who admitted me quickly. ER was very nice compared to a previous hospital I had gone to which was a bad experience. The staff was very helpful. My condition caused for bed which was prepared and then for 4 days I was in great care the nurses and techs on floor 6 were the best. So nice so helpful. The room was very clean, the food service was wonderful. The nurses were personable with me making my unpleasant stay a little more enjoyable. I was in good hands and very glad I was there for my care.

Negative experience: Some of the worst treatment I have ever seen! I have been in hospitals a fair amount in my life and I am appalled. Two of my friends got T boned while driving back from California. Luckily they both could get out of the car. We went to the emergency room. My friend couldn’t move her left side. One friend got fairly good treatment. The other friend that couldn’t move her left side of her body got one exray for her pelvis. I asked the doctor to do a ct scan and he puffed his chest and told me “you know you are questioning my entire career right”. If one of my friends is getting treated better than the other I will ask. Neither of their families were in town and they were both in shock. He trashed talked me to my friend after I left the room for something. This was so unprofessional and egotistical. He should be ashamed of himself.

Fantastic experience: I really love to go to the sleep study center that's just south of the Utah valley hospital. They gave me a titration sleep apnea test. The girl nurse was so very nice an polite to help me with the C pap machine and the wires to monitor my breathing. I slept on a comfortable bed with clean bedding also the temperature was perfect I slept very sound an good the whole night. Im hoping if my breathing keeps on stopping at nights that I will be able to have a C cap machine or a Oxygen tank thats got the clear tubes to connect to the nose. Which forces air into the lungs and keeps ya breathing. So anyway thanks again for treating me very good for the night I was there at the sleep study center

Fantastic experience: I was admitted to the IHC Murray Hospital after the wonderful EMTs transported me there. I was there 2 days and met the Rudest staff in the world, Doctors and Nurses, the worst room in history AND I ASKED TO LEAVE. Eventually got transferred to Utah Valley Hospital. What a difference. I don't have enough words to describe the absolute most knowledgeable, confident, Caring, wonderful nurses I could imagine. I was in this hospital for 9 days. It would have been 9 days of hell if were not for the TEAM. My main nurse was out at her desk, that was literally right out of my door, not in a nursing station. I had moments when I was in terrible pain, but it took seconds not hours or minutes before I received help. I respect and love all of them. I don't have enough room to describe the main stay of these days, My doctor. And it would take another page of accolades. One other quick note, they had the best food! Thank you all on the fifth floor. And the room was fantastic! (Although the hospital should spend a few more bucks on the limited cable stations ; )

Negative experience: Always keep every bill you get, and always keep your receipts. I had set up automatic payments, I recently got a new bill. Shocker decided to go and pay online. When I did it showed me the balance of the new bill and what I previously owe if only you only do one payment I had to pay all of it so I did. I still got my automatic payment taken out and when I called to ask why they said because I was still owing money and that the payment I did online was not showing up. So now I have to work to fix their mistake and when you call them you realize it's a third party that takes care of their bills which makes no sense. It literally felt like you are calling into a scam. I also want to give you advice instead of you leaving me message and telling me how I can contact who knows who and telling me that you feel sorry that I feel this way. instead of having so many different departments where the payment you make goes to, I went to one facility. I got blood taken out. I got exams. It all happened in one facility. All my bills say intermountain and have the same account number so make it when you pay. It all shows up in your account. Not if you pay online it should separately somewhere else. If you call over the phone it also shows somewhere else also, when you call over the phone and make a payment they tell you that they're going to send you a receipt. It's been a month and a half and I'm still waiting for those receipts to come. So whether you pay on the phone or online or even in person, it's a lose-lose.

Negative experience: I am withdrawing my support from this facility and I am currently taking action from an ICU tech who asked how I was doing and I said "my tummy is bothering me but otherwise I'm hanging in there". 1 minute later without any warning and without consulting with me, my open IV was shot with something and I got that weird smell and cold arm and I jolted and said oh oh, woah, what was that, saline? He said "oh just a little something to help with your stomach". NOT OKAY. I'm sitting here with an open line to my arm, that is the single most egregious violation I've ever experienced in medical care. He said it was pantoprazole. It gave me a horrible headache and massive anxiety. When I asked him why he did that, he walked away in disrespect with no reply. That's scary. That's literally terrifying, he could've shot me with anything he wanted and done God knows what to me. I spent the entire rest of my stay sleeping with one eye to the door. This is an egregious violation of the vulnerable state a patient is in when they enter into medical care and we trust you guys with our lives and our wellbeing. This has caused me to be very hesitant to have needles or to permit an open IV being in my arm. Other than life saving measures, there should never, ever be any occasion where a patient is unknowingly shot with a drug without permission and without notification. I was sitting right there wide awake texting. If he had asked, I would've declined. That's a violation of my rights as a human being. Anywhere else if you walked up to someone and shot them with an unknown substance in their arm with no prior notification, your day would end in handcuffs. Again, what if I was sleeping? What if he administered a sedative and had his way with me? This raises serious ethical questions. And I can't support the facility any longer.

Fantastic experience: We delivered our first child at the American Fork hospital but the nurse who made the whole experience so great was Angie, who was floated over to AF from Utah Valley. Angie understood the needs of mom and baby so well and she articulated to us so well everything she was doing. She made us feel very comfortable and was honestly a huge reason why our first labor experience was so great. She deserves high praises for all the effort she puts in to caring for her patients and we feel so lucky to have had her assigned to us at the AF hospital!

Response from Intermountain Health: Nick, thanks for taking the time to leave us a review, we will definitely pass on your comments to our team. Have a great day!

Negative experience: PLEASE, PLEASE READ IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING GOING TO UTAH VALLEY HOSPITAL. I took my wife to the emergency room here Aug 1, 2024 due to a puncture in her right lung from an injection she received earlier that day. The emergency room and staff were great, very attentive, aware of my wife, her condition, and her pain. She ended up having to get a chest tube put in and was taken up to IR (Intervention Radiology) and this was the beginning of this hospital falling flat on its face, making this the absolute worst, unprofessional, uncaring, pompous, and inconsiderate group of people and facilities I’ve ever been subjected to. My wife waited for an hour in IR where she was only seen 3 times by someone and shoved in a corner, out of site and out of mind I guess is how they do things there, where she had no monitoring and with a punctured lung things could have easily gone south and no one was around. After requesting for me to come up the doctor shows up. His response to the situation was “so the emergency room seems to think you need a chest tube” but acting in a manner of questioning the situation, if she really needed it, questioning the ER doctors who found and verified a puncture in the lung, and acting put out over the whole procedure. It’s a painful experience having a needle, followed by a 16” to 18” fished down into your lung all while you’re awake and then having a doctor treat you like that during the whole process. Back to the emergency room. The doctors there said things looked good with the chest tube and gave her some more meds for the pain. They told us we could either go home with some pain meds and could manage things from there or stay the night where pain management could be distributed by IV and we could monitor things with the chest tube, we opted to stay. About 3 hours later we made it to our room on the 8th floor where things look promising for a good nights stay and she could rest, we were so wrong!!! Continued in another review due to length. Dr. Christopher Lew walked in and introduced himself and the 1st thing he said was “so tell me what’s wrong” and he legitimately seemed like he had read nothing on my wife charts based on watching him trying to put the situation together like he had no prior information, again questioning things done, and now questioning her pain. Her pain at the time was around an 8 due to it taking about 3 hours to get to our room. His reluctance and lack interest really showed he did not care about her or helping managing the pain of the situation. 10 pm she was finally given Percocet 7.5 and was told she would receive dilaudid around midnight and that it could be administered every 2 hours. Midnight rolls around and she was administered the .2 of dilaudid and we both thought she was gonna finally be able to relax and get some sleep, not so. As the night went on she noticed nothing was happening and affects of her pain continued to build. Waiting for the nurse to come check at 2 and administer more but no one showed. 2 to 3 and now 3 to 4 I finally woke up and realized no one came. I paged the nurse and a tech came in and we said she needed something for her pain, he went and asked the nurse and came back and said she wasn't due for more, 4 hours later when we were told every 2 and no one came when they were supposed to. Having to correct him he went and got the nurse and she came waltzing in, no apology, no concern for her pain, gave her the .2 dilaudid dose and left. Tired, hurting, and frustrated our angel showed up on shift change, our morning nurse. She walks in and gave a very sweet good morning and then says “so you have a very interesting case” and looked very confused. She proceeds to ask questions about the situation and my wife’s pain that had registered an 8 ever since we got there and began to question some things. We found out the dose of dilaudid that she received was a safe dose they give to pregnant women to keep them and the child safe and definitely not the dose my wife should have been receiving to manage her pain and the way we were told it would.

Negative experience: I went in because I was dizzy and they ran so many tests for no reason. Bill was 5000 and now I have to also pay the emergency room doctor a grand as well. They misdiagnosed and I had to see a neurosurgeon. The neurosurgeon said nothing is wrong with me so I worried for weeks before I got in. I understand caution but then there is a thing as way too much caution. It ended up I took motion sickness pills ($2) and I was fine.

Negative experience: Worst service I’ve ever received at a hospital. Urgent Care told me to go for appendicitis, ER doctor told me it was it as well. Lied about what drugs I was being given, got told I was a liar and a druggie, and then dismissed with over a $5,000 bill. Would not trust this hospital to save my life or even improve it. Was sick for over a week after

Fantastic experience: My brother was admitted through the emergency department at Utah Valley for a brain injury. Unfortunately, there were also complications due to the surgery he received. He was in the ICU for two weeks and then moved to a patient floor for a week. While he was there, he received excellent care from many wonderful caregivers. I would like to thank them all for the care he received!

Negative experience: The care from some of the “professionals” here like Dr. Croft is disgusting, and absolutely ridiculous… But it should be no surprise from a doctor who has told other patients that taking them to court is his “bread and butter” — If you want a doctor who actually cares about you, your situation, your family and your basic needs, steer clear from this place and people like Dr. Micah Eldredge Croft. Lack of empathy and acknowledgement from your psychiatrist is a black eye on this company… Without reading a chart or understanding his patient, he went straight to ridicule and degradation and has set his patients back in their own recovery.. Sounds like a great doc, huh?

Negative experience: If I could leave NO STARS I would… As I am writing this review my mother is in the hospital. I am HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED with the doctors and some staff here. She is here for two different reasons, medical and psychological. The two different departments WILL NOT work together as a team for the best interest of the patient. She was transferred here from an outside hospital, the day she was transferred here she was supposed to see the psychiatrist. That DID NOT happen. Instead she saw an internal medicine doctor that had an ego bigger than life its self and was arrogant as hell to myself and my father. That was all she seen aside from nurses. The next day the only reason why she seen a psychiatrist was because I blew my top and demanded to see one. Since then he has been in the room twice for a total of ten minutes between both visits… he is trying to send her home. Mentally she is not stable and he doesn’t seem to care or seem concerned. Most the time she has been at this hospital she has been ignored and neglected by doctors until I blew my top and demanded care also they don’t want to work together as a team. I would not recommend this hospital for anything especially psychiatry.. they will help you if you are suicidal but if your not to hell with ya and continue to stay in a level of Psychosis. WORST HOSPITAL EVER!

Positive experience: If I were rating only the service and care from the hospital I would have given this hospital 5 stars. The billing department I would give 1 star. I had been a patient twice at this hospital and made payment arrangements. Both times after making arrangements they were sent to collections. The second one was sent after 1 week of making the arrangements with no one ever reaching out to us. We were good with making the arranged payment but it seems that instead of having to put any effort into dealing with payments it was easier to send it to collections. Shameless behavior. Now after these both went to collections and being months later they send another bill? Again, shameful.

Negative experience: As of this writing, My daughter is in the ICU. She has Colon Cancer The doctors told us she had no chance of survival . Her liver is damaged and Cancer cannot be treated if the liver is damaged. .I am her father. I love my daughter very much. I had hope. I thought we could wait it out , wait for the liver to repair itself, and then treat the Cancer. I want save her. I called other hospitals, spoke with doctors and staff. I spoke specialists and anybody that would talk to me. I called in the US and Europe ..they gave me hope. The doctors here gave me none They told me I was in denial .That was 40 days ago. (I guess they cannot kill her without my ok.) When I brought her to the hospital, she was walking and communicating ..She was put on a ventilator and given masses amounts of drugs thru a Picc line ( a line inserted through a peripheral vein) Which was connected to multiple lines. I was told by medical personal in other countries to ask about the medicine given and saline solution. If care is not taken , damage to the kidneys and further damage to the liver can occur. Her kidneys are now failing. All the nurses at this hospital were great, except for 2. My daughter's condition has deteriorated. I am being pressed to make a decision . Last night I inquired of a nurse as to what what she was injecting into the lines.. She was the nurse from the night before. I had said to her, that my daughter's condition was worse now then the night before....She Proceeded to tell all the things wrong with my daughter . I told her I was well aware of those things and I was only referring to the last 24 hrs.. My communication with the nurse stopped at that point. The nurse left ...15 minutes passed . 3 security personal showed up, and informed me I had to leave the hospital. I asked why. They had no answer. I had been by my daughters side night and day..I had to leave ...Its been 24 hrs...Please help me ...anyone .....This is all true ... There is more to this. Other family and friends will post the whole story later on another site.

Negative experience: I am a local doula serving Utah County and have attended births all over the valley. I was recently involved in a birth center transfer to Utah Valley and was shocked at how we were treated. I experienced a lack of care when I arrived in the ER, but when I went up to Labor and Delivery to see my clients I felt I was met with hostility and contempt. Two security guards and a woman who I assumed was a nurse were waiting for me at the L&D elevators. One of the security guards was visibly agitated (shaking) before we ever spoke and, without identifying who I was, demanded that I leave immediately. Confused, I asked why I was being asked to leave. He told me I was trespassing and that I needed to leave immediately. I said I didn't understand why I was being treated this way and he said that the police had told them I was interfering with patient care/safety. I said "I'm not sure who you think I am . . . I am their doula and I am here at their request." Then he demanded my ID and the room code which I was able to get from my clients and was eventually let in. The NICU Dr. was pleasant and professional to everyone in the room, but I felt that the L&D nurse glared at me the whole time I was there. It's unfortunate that, so far, doulas, nurses, out of hospital midwives, and doctors haven't been able to achieve a collaborative approach with UVRMC in these situations. I believe, and have hope, that things could change and your staff could approach the transfer from a patient centered care perspective by bringing on the midwife and doula into the care team as is done in other countries with better birth outcomes. Out of hospital midwives are generally very knowledgeable and skilled. They are a valuable resource in understanding the birth up until that point. They can continue offering support and guidance with EMS to improve patient care and outcomes. In short, we need continuity of care in these circumstances. Creating hostile, degrading transfer situations does not serve anyone, least of all the patient. These kinds of interactions keep me recommending a different hospital in Orem where my clients and I (even in difficult transfer situations) are always treated with kindness, humanity, respect, dignity and decency.

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough good things about the Utah Valley Hospital nursing and tech staff on the 5th and 7th floors. Recently we experienced several weeks of care in the hospital. I was so impressed with the kindness of these workers who spent long hours each day caring for sick and often grumpy people. Patience and optimistic encouragement, smiles and helpfulness brought brightness into difficult circumstances. Many thanks for excellent and compassionate service.

Negative experience: I dislike this hospital for there horrible care of my mother when she was there. They caused her to have severe infections with there miss handling of her cares. No communication regarding cares unles I walked in there demanding an update. I’ll never take another parent there or relative. They just dump your loved one anywhere without contacting the family. And have no remorse or sympathy

Negative experience: My mother stayed on floor 8 from January 26th through February 1st. All of the nurses were very friendly and helpful. They were very attentive and anytime my mom needed anything they got it for us. She gets cold a lot and those warm blankets were wonderful. When she had 103° fever we got a washcloth and got it wet and put it on her head. This really helped her to feel better especially when waiting for relief from the medications. The cupboard in the room that had the washcloths in it said that it was for "partners in healing" and they needed to have clean hands. We were under the assumption that we were partners in healing. Are the family members not partners in healing? On the 31st thick zip ties appeared on the cupboards handles in my mother's room. No one talked to us. No one asked us to not touch anything. And again the only thing we touched were the washcloths. Talk about passive aggressive. And rude. I cut them off and put them in the cupboard where they were easy to see. Then later that day, my mother needed a shower. A very nice nurse came in and was showering her and realize she had forgotten something. I stayed with my mother while the nurse went over to that cupboard that was previously zip tied closed and got what she needed. Had the cupboard still been zip tied she would have had to go into the hallway and track down what she needed. How is this good for the patients? Why would no one talk to us about this? Why would someone do that to make the nurse's job harder? Update. The hospitals internet person replied and told me to call the patient advocate. I've delt with patient advocates before. Do you know what they can do for me? Nothing. Not a thing. They will listen and say "let me se what I can do". Then I'll get a letter in the mail letting me know they "looked into" what happened and it was all handled correctly except there could have been "better communication". Or I get a call back saying since we are no longer at the hospital, there is nothing they can do. This generic "call our number" is just the hospitals way of answering without helping so their rating goes up with Google. When you answer reviews, it gets you more points with Google. I gave you all the information you needed. I'm not calling patient advocates to be brushed off again. If you look at any one or two star review on here, they all have the exact same "answer from the owner". Word for word. No one cares, it's all for the traffic to their web site.

Fantastic experience: I went to the ER after a fall. It was discovered that I had fractured my pelvis in several places. The ER staff was so kind and amazing. It was a very difficult time for me, and they made me feel so confident and were extremely tender. I was admitted to the hospital for three days. I went to the 9 floor, where the nurses and doctors and supervisors and aides were just as great as the ER. Kindness and caring and expertise go along way when you feel so helpless. My experience, though difficult, was made doable by all these wonderful Utah Valley Hospital employees! They deserve a five star rating for certain.

Negative experience: I am absolutely livid with this hospitals pediatric unit. My 4 month old daughter was admitted to pediatrics because she was sick. She kept needing to be suctioned and the nurse kept saying “I don’t think she needs it.” Minutes, and I truly mean minutes, later the respiratory therapist came in and told me she needed her nose suctioned. This happened not once but twice. Both times resulted in my daughter’s oxygen dropping and her retracting pretty bad to breathe. They discharged us a day later with my daughter on oxygen and told us they would put an order in to have her seen as an outpatient in the suction clinic. Guess what they didn’t do? That’s right put the order in. It’s not in her discharge paperwork either. My daughter had to suffer through the day until I could get her in to a doctor to put in a new order. They also did not leave any notes on my child’s care, so her doctor has nothing to work off of especially when it comes to her oxygen. I am absolutely pissed with these people and their incompetence. DO NOT take your child to this hospital!

Negative experience: If you have a baby needing emergency services through the pediatric unit here at the hospital, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!! My 15 months old son was admitted for RSV and adenovirus. The pediatric unit failed him and his care while there for 3 days. They made his condition worse and now he is in a Pediatric Intensive Care unit at another hospital. 1. They didn’t give him an IV despite him throwing up 95% of everything he was drinking for his entire stay there. He barley ate anything. The PICU he is at now immediately put on IV on him and said that he was dehydrated, they had “catching up to do”. They also put him on a feeding tub. I trusted that the nurses and docs at Utah Valley hospital were measuring his urine output through diapers and ensuring he wasn’t dehydrated but HE WAS! after thinking about I think they only measured maybe 3-4 diapers the entire stay. 2. They only tried to suction the snot out of his nose ONCE and did a pretty pathetic attempt at it and didn’t do it again because “they weren’t getting anything anyways”. The PICU he is at is doing it multiple times a day because it so bad. The first time they did it, they said he was so compacted they used three tubes of saline to break it all up. He was so compacted with snot because UV failed to do an effective job at it the first time! 3. They sent him home on oxygen but didn’t even turn the machine on. The PICU he is at now has him on a high flow oxygen because what he was sent home with was not efficient!!! 4. We had to ask for Tylenol for him often like they didn’t care to keep up on his pain management and ear infection. he was not a priority and the nurses would hand us the meds to administer because they couldn’t have been bothered to help us. We always were the ones fixing the cords, machines, his oxygen tube.m around his nose. The last night we were there they turned off his monitor while we were sleeping when we specified that we wanted it on. We had one good nurse the entire stay and that’s sad. My baby felt like a burden to the nurses and that should not ever be like that for a PEDIATRIC UNIT. When we left, they didn’t send in the remaining of his anti-biotic needed for his ear infection to a pharmacy even though the came and asked which pharmacy we wanted it sent to. They lacked in so many ways. They made my baby boys condition worse and now he’s in a PICU!!! A PICU FROM LACK OF CARE ON UV END!!! After posting on social media, I found out my story is exactly the same to other moms who are located in surrounding areas. ITS SCARY HOW MANY BABIES THEY HAVE FAILED WHEN THE BABY HAS RSV.

Fantastic experience: My experience with Utah Valley Hospital was scary because my husband was brought in by ambulance and directly went into heart surgery, on New Years Day. My son and I arrived after he had been taken to surgery. We were told to go to 2nd floor and wait. We waited and waited and waited. No one ever checked on us or updated us. The desk was unattended but a phone with instructions to get an update. There was no update we were told someone will come when the surgery is complete. Finally after 3 hours I started asking anyone for information. No help at the hospital. My sister called a friend who works with IHC. We found his room number in ICU. He had been there for an hour. I was so relieved but angry that the staff had ignored us we were totally left us thinking the most horrible outcomes. The stars are for the amazing nurses that took care of my husband during his stay. I hope the hospital administrators look at this review and understand the responsibility they have to a patients family is so much more than what I expected. To have zero communication with a wife waiting on a husbands emergency surgery is unacceptable. 3 hours is a long time to wait. With no word.

Fantastic experience: My 6 year old needed appendix surgery at 6 pm on the Saturday before Christmas and everyone in the Pediatrics department was amazing. Negative experience: If you are a woman, avoid this place. They will not take you seriously, not listen to your troubles, and do nothing to help. In fact, due to their disregard for your pain and medical history, they may do more harm to you by giving poor recommendations. Negative experience: The nurse Kaycen Caldwells license should be revoked immediately due to aggravated child abuse in the hospital in NICU. There are bruises on the arms and abdomen as an evidence to prove to the court. Caldwell should be arrested immediately and prosecuted. We do not need unprofessional, unethical, uneducated, corrupt, nurses as such in any institution at all. The family should take this case to an attorney, report to police, prosecute, life in prison is necessary.

Negative experience: Admitted through the ER for emergency spine surgery. Could not feel my feet, legs and bladder function was compromised. Admitting nurse told me to push call light and to get assistance to and from the restroom. When I would push the light, a tech would stand a the door and ask what I needed. I explained I needed help to the restroom. He told me to unplug the IV pole from the wall and to go myself. After my 3-4th trip, I noticed my back was soaking wet and my sheets and gown. As I got myself to the restroom, my IV tubing was lying on the floor at my feet in the bathroom. Once I got myself back to bed, I pushed the call light. The same tech came in. I told him about my IV line being on the floor and that I was soaking wet and my bed was wet. He picked up the tubing and began to put in back into the line in my hand. I pulled my hand away and told him it was contaminated. He took a wipe, wiped it and put it in anyway. Then, he tossed me a washcloth and walked out. ARE YOU KIDDING ME on multiple accounts. THEN, I had asked for ice water a couple of times as I knew I would be NPO soon and couldn't drink as they were taking me into surgery the following morning. I wasn't getting a response, so finally I got up and walked out into the hallway. I began to walk towards somebody to ask for ice water. As I approached I noticed it was two nurses talking. The one with her back to me was my nurse. The closer I got I realized they were talking about me, my medications and my situation. HELLO, have your ever heard of HIPPA!!! She turned around and said, "I'll get your water now go back to your room." So, I guess I wasn't allowed to have assistance to the restroom, I didn't merit a clean IV and I wasn't allowed to walk in the halls, especially if my nurse was gossipping about me. So disenchanted with UVRMC!! C'mon, a hospital your size can do so much better!!!

Negative experience: Don't bother giving them your insurance information, they don't bill it anyways. You'll just have to wait to start receiving bills before you can give it to them 18 more times. And don't pray for health, pray they figure it out before collections. Because they don't let you into their computers to help with billing and coding.

Negative experience: I wrote this review a few days ago. The original reply from the hospital said to call the patient feedback line to discuss the issue... I did call the patient feedback line before posting this, which is what prompted the investigation that determined it is appropriate care to discharge a psych crisis patient without a completed safety plan. I urge the hospital to appropriately follow up on this to prevent future suicide. Original review - My daughter was seen in the ER for a psychological crisis. She was discharged to home without a safety plan. I reported this to the hospital, which upon investigation, determined her care was appropriate and reasonable. Do not seek emergency psychological care the Utah Valley Hopsital ER.

Fantastic experience: My daughter had an asthma attack & we went to the Riverton ER & it appears as they were not trained to deal with kids since they were so cold and acted like it was nothing. She had to be placed in intensive care so we were transferred to Utah Valley Hospital. It was the best decision they made that night. As soon as we got there, they explained everything so well to us, offered us food, and had everything ready for us to sleep. They were very welcoming & felt my daughter was finally in good hands. They kept checking in on us & answered all our questions. Recently my daughter had a hard time breathing again and living 30 minutes from this hospital & this not being an emergency, I drove it! Just bc the first time we had a good experience and yet again we were treated extremely well, explained everything to us, got her toys , books, the front desk security got her a stuffed animal to make her feel good, distractions from needles and they were so warming to my daughter that she kept grabbing the doctors hand when he would come in. Definitely worth the drive when it’s not an emergency. Thank you for being well trained with kids!

Negative experience: My Dad stayed here as an outpatient after surgery and it was by far the worst experience ever at any hospital facility. Not sure what typical protocol should be, but bedside manner was lost in the handbook when it comes to this place. Nurses were making jokes, were complaining of taking care of other patients let alone my dad and overall just not taking their job seriously. I had to get after the nurses plenty of times just to do their job. After this I would not recommend my worst enemy step foot in this place.. proceed with caution ⚠️

Negative experience: I have waited a couple of years to even write this review but I think it matters and hope that the hospital changes. In 2021 I came into the ER for sudden severe bruising all over my legs. It happened within a 24 hour period and we sent a couple of pictures to our friend who is a PA at a different hospital and he told us to go to ER right away for a couple of specific tests. The bruises basically covered both of the inside of my thighs. I am a normally very healthy person so it was really odd, and I had recently been diagnosed with bronchitis. I got to the ER and when the nurse did my intake she was so snarky and thought her sarcasm was funny. She was also a new nurse and super young. I didn't laugh at her at all and she just couldn't be serious and kept making really weird childish jokes. Which was not only awkward, but confusing for an ER setting. After she took all of her notes and got us settled she walked out but forgot to close our door all of the way. Our dr came in pretty quickly and as he was looking over things I heard at least 2-3 nurses talking about me. One nurse said, "I mean it's a bruise lady....not sure why you're here" and the other said "bruises are a REALLY big deal I guess." and they all laughed." I never said anything. But I was appalled by the lack of respect for a patient. And just blatantly talking poorly about someone in your care. Not to mention the lack of medical knowledge or concern, as an established PA told us to come in. Dr ended up running some tests and everything was cleared up. Turns out the bruising was a side effect from the prednisone I was given for the bronchitis. I hope that the hospital makes sure this doesn't happen to other patients, or that their staff doesn't make fun of or talk poorly about patients. You made your career about helping people...If you don't want to be compassionate, maybe find a different job.

Positive experience: I wish I could leave separate reviews for the different divisions of the hospital. ER: I've been to the ER once here with my brother, and it was the absolute worst hospital experience of my life. My brother has had herniated disks in his spine and has been in and out hospitals and chiropractors for a long time. About a year ago his back was acting up extremely badly, so we went to the ER to get some pain meds and a muscle relaxer while he was waiting for an actual appointment he'd scheduled with a specialist for the next week. The doctor was incredibly rude and clearly didn't believe my brother for a second, despite a medical history with X-rays and MRIs as proof. He just spent the whole visit manipulating my brother's legs and back as he literally cried in pain. He just told him to take ibuprofen and deal with it basically. Maternity: My experience with maternity has been a complete 180. My wife and I are leaving in a few hours after giving birth to our second kid here. Absolutely fantastic experience. The nurses are extremely kind, and well informed. The process is super quick and easy and they really make sure you're taken care of. The food was really nice as well. It wasn't a five star dinner experience, but it was very tasty and fresh. The nourishment room is nice as well. Literally no complaints. We came in for a scheduled induction. Vaginal delivery with no complications

Fantastic experience: We arrived and within 10 minutes we were being seen by a Doctor. A test was performed and we were told it would take a good hour to get those results back. An hour later the Doctor and a nurse were back to talk to us. We were taken care of in such a way that there was NO waiting on this person or that person. Very professional and friendly. The doctors firm handshake to each of us when we were potentially contagious went a long way. If I ever have need in the future for a visit to the ER, Utah Valley Hospital will be seeing me again.

Fantastic experience: Can't say enough about all the professional medical staff at this hospital who provided care for my mom in the cardio ICU. After diagnosing that she had an aortic dissection happening they performed the surgery and provided excellent care for her until her transfer to a longer term care ICU facility. From the doctors, surgeons, nurses, techs and janitorial staff everyone was very compassionate and truly motivated to helping my mom survive this huge surgery. I would highly recommend this hospital.

Fantastic experience: Entire team recieved my mother with a pulse rate of 30 with utmost care and swiftness. She was taken in, vital signs, tests, xrays taken within very short time. The team was professional, prompt and supportive. The ER doctor was excellent. The Cardiologist was excellent. On call team was quick to respond and a pacemaker procedure preformed resulting in a normal pusle rate. She was admitted for overnight. The nursing team was excellent. Thankful my mom is home and recovering .

Fantastic experience: We had a phenomenal visit largely due to the care provided by our nurses. While no one is perfect (perfection is a myth, but that’s not what this review is about) each nurse we had the pleasure of interacting with lived up to and raised the standard of excellence. They cared for my child as he took his first breaths and cared for my wife as she recovered from birthing a human. Thank you!!

Negative experience: I was daily with my neighbor in this hospital until she died. Aside from the fact that my friend died because of a doctors error, little was right at Utah Valley Hosp 1. Way understaffed. Very difficult to get a nurse in your room 2. The hospitalist doubled her pain medication at her request, but unbeknownst to us, doubled the duration between doses. Really? 3. When we complained to the nurse about the pain medication mixup, she got very angry with us; no, we were patient and kind. That nurse needs to go 4. The hospice Dr literally hovered over my friend asking “don’t you really want to go off all life-saving treatment? We asked him twice to back off. 5. My friend wanted ice because of severe dry mouth. She pushed the button for nurse help over a period of about 2 1/2 hours. Eventually, someone came in, not nurses but a man who said he was visiting his wife in the neighboring room. He asked if he could go down to the cafeteria and get ice for my friend. He said that his wife had been without any Nurses attending her for hours If I ever have a choice, I will never go to this hospital for anything.

Negative experience: Every birth I have been here for has been incredibly horrible. Today we had a nurse, Angie who wanted to put in an IV. My client said she wanted to wait and this nurse lost her marbles, yelled at my client & stormed out. Completely unacceptable. Disgusting behavior and c section happy.

Fantastic experience: My baby got sick at 3 weeks old. We took her to our pediatrician which is at Utah Valley Pediatrics in Vineyard. They told us about this suction clinic and recommended that I bring my baby here. I didn’t even know a suction clinic was a thing. They cleaned her out so well. It helped her so much!

Fantastic experience: My experience with this hospital this week has been nothing but the best in all aspects. The facility itself, the cleanliness, and most importantly, the staff. I am visiting from Rhode Island for a family emergency and am beyond impressed with the ICU. Specifically, nurse Kelly. Citizens of this community should thank their lucky stars to have this hospital, and their employees.

Positive experience: I want to share the experience that we are currently living, unfortunately my father is in this hospital in a critical situation. The experience we have had has been incredible! This is the only word I can use, the nurses, the social workers, the doctors have done an amazing job!! With the exception of the Dr. Jimenez. People, whoever reads this comment and has a relative in this hospital, be very careful if the doctor is in charge his license should be suspended and he should not continue killing people. From day 1 that my father arrived at this hospital, this guy called doctor wanted to intubate him, which the rest of the doctors did not see as necessary, days after my father did not improve and he had to be intubated, they removed the tube days after because of his improvements but unfortunately the next day he had to be re-intubated . This doctor told me one night: in the next few minutes your dad will have a heart attack and die, be ready to see your dad dead. The next day another doctor saw my father and my father is still fighting for his life, his situation is still critical and we know it but the doctors are doing everything possible to save my father live except for this person called "doctor", which makes me think that he only goes to the hospital, he does the minimum so that his patients die and his work is easy and without any hard time. Days later the doctor passed by my dad's room and just turned to see him, that makes me feel in danger!!! Unsafe!!! He makes me think that he is watching him but not with a good intention because a soon as he saw me he runs. He also told me: call your family and let them know your father is dying and he left!!! This doctor should not practice!!! Be very careful people!!! This hospital deserves a Gold Star as well as all its workers with the exception of this guy... One night, my whole family planned to go home to have some rest but I realized that this person was there and my heart told me: don't leave your dad alone and I decided to stay.

Fantastic experience: Had a great experience at urgent care and then the ER tonight. Wonderful nurses and doctors and was processed immediately at both places. Warm blankets and great explanations by all staff. Everyone really went the extra mile to explain everything to us in detail, even the doctor. Would come back 100%.

Fantastic experience: I don't know how this place has such a low rating. I had surgery on the 30th and was admitted. During my stay there were 3 shift changes. Every single nurse and tech I encountered were beyond caring and empathetic. My doctor and the anesthesiologist were amazing. I want to say thank you to every person involved in my care while I was there. I honestly couldn't have asked for more.

Fantastic experience: This is our favorite hospital. Staff is great. Very caring doctors in the ER and doctors' offices are plentiful. Good and professional of many disciplines. Same building, different floors I see my Primary Care, oncologist, psychologist, neurologist, infusion clinic. Any others for future needs I will pick Utah Valley Hospital every time. I trust this facility to give me the best of care. That is important to me.

Fantastic experience: During the month of April last year, I was on two floors. First was cardio. They were amazing, kind, and truly understanding. Second floor was gastroenterology. This floor is amazing. From the the doctors, nurses, techs, orderly, phlebotomy team and even house keepers were just awesome. This is a floor that I truly would visit again if I had to.

Negative experience: I brought my nephew to the ER the other day. Just a few weeks later I took my son into the main building for a procedure. I can't wear mask due to an inflammatory condition in my air passageways. The difference was night and day. The women at the ER desk wouldn't even let me politely ask what my options were, shouting over my concerns and telling me I had to wear a mask, then calling security on me when I opted to simply calmly walk away from them their rudeness and social distance. The main office literally didn't care or say anything. Half the people were wearing masks, half weren't. This hospital's mask policy is a joke at this point.

Negative experience: Not going back to this Hospital. We had a terrible experience at the emergency room due to the actions of one particular doctor. Despite clear and concerning readings on the monitor, that aligned with seizure like activity this doctor disregarded the results and treated my wife as if she was overreacting. They spoke to her in a condescending and belittling manner, making her feel like she was being dismissed and not taken seriously. Throughout her time in the ER, we tried to express our concerns and explain her symptoms, but this doctor ignored us completely, choosing instead to rely solely on their own assumption without taking any real effort to understand my wife's condition. Their bedside manner was extremely unprofessional and left my wife feeling mistreated and disrespected. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone, as their disregard for patient care and well-being is unacceptable. If you value your health and expect to be treated with respect and dignity during a medical emergency, I would advise finding a different hospital or provider.

Negative experience: My husband came to the emergency room Sunday with a fractured clavicle. They took X-rays, My husband asked for a copy of the x-ray results to follow up with the surgeon, they told my husband, just take a picture with your phone, the doctor Kevin Larkin MD (the hospital referred) will have a copy. Monday we call Larkin MD to set up an appt , they stated they do not have access to any medical records. Sunday my husband while in the emergency room asked Nicole Bigot Physician for pain medication, she told him just to take ibuprofen and Tylenol, for a fracture bone. I called the emergency room back on Monday to ask for actual pain medication, the nurse told me I would need to go back to the emergency room, pay the fee again, wait to be seen, and show them that the problem (broken bone) has not gotten better. ARE you kidding me

Negative experience: We had our twins here in November. The Nursing staff and other personnel were great the facility was fine no complains there. But the billing department complete incompetence is the reason for the low review score. So first thing they did was send two bills for the same twin and none for the other twin so I called and waited on hold for hours the. pressed a button to get a callback that never came multiple times before I actually talked to someone to get that straightened out so the representative on the phone told me they had to send it to the records department and it should be fixed in 30 days. So I call back after thirty days and now they tell me its 30 business days to get it fixed. To correct this problem shouldn't take more than 30 seconds to change the name on one of the bills they sent so each twin has there own bill. This is really causing me financial difficulties because doctors want paid and I have a hospital indemnity plan that I was going to use to pay the bills that are due but I cant file a claim until I get itemized bills for my wife and both twins. So to sum things up the hospital is fine they employ some really great nurses but the billing department is pretty poor to put it nicely.

Negative experience: I can not recommend the OR of this hospital to you. I liken my experience to hiring a general contractor to remodel a part of your home—they do the work you contracted them for, but can’t be bothered to clean up the mess they made in the process. It took me over 30 minutes, with experimentation because simple soap and water didn’t do the trick, to clean off the iodine mixture they slopped over the two incision points that were each less than three inches in length. Not to mention the stains left on my undershirt from this iodine concoction, who knows if I can get those stains out. Hopefully mgmt will get their head out of the sand (to put it mildly) and makes sure this doesn’t happen again, especially if the doctor you like works out of this hospital. If not I would find a hospital with better mgmt and that means you may have to find a different doctor. I hopes this helps.

Negative experience: Horrible hospital I went to the emergency room for the flu, they even did tests on my feet, blood tests, head tests, tests that I did not require, I just wanted an antibiotic for my cough, after almost 18 hours At the hospital without eating, the doctor told me to take Advil, and I left, 15 days later I received a 28K bill, due to the tests they did, now I'm paying 500 dollars a month to go to the hospital to get an Advil. This health system is the worst in the world, they do the tests you don't ask for and then they charge you. HDP

Negative experience: They only get 2 stars because their in person staff is typically great. Several times they have over charged us and wouldn’t refund the money until we demanded it, at least three times they have billed the wrong insurance or no insurance at all then blamed us even though we filled out the forms with their staff the night of attending. Their doctors are not in network so our bills always come back higher. Overall a very lazy and lack luster, experience. When my wife gave birth the nurse left and told me to hold my wife’s legs then charged us for her being there when she wasn’t even in the room. When our daughter wouldn’t stop screaming one night, the dr said he thought she had a sore throat and left with no help or advice beyond “good luck.” His lack of care and help to our daughter turned into a months worth of misery and sickness until we could get in to see her primary care Dr.

Negative experience: Would give less than 1 star if I could. Sent my wife to collections rather than run her insurances (which we gave them 3 times). Told us we owed nothing, changed the bill and billed is $1900, we asked if they’d ran the other two insurances on file, they hadn’t. Gave them the insurances again(after confirming them twice at the hospital), and a month later got a call from a collections agent that we had an “outstanding debt”. Asked if they’d ran the other insurances…they’d “lost” them again Absolute joke.

Negative experience: I truly give 0 stars they are under staffed we placed a call for the nurse it took 45 min for one to come in! Extramly uncaring atmospire. This hospital has gone down hill fast. Staff was very unfriendly it was just all around not a good place. I would NOT do any surgery at this hospital!! I would NOT go to this hospital for any reason, you want your family member to be in good hands go some were else please!!! 0 stars worst experiance I have ever had in 75 years of life!

Negative experience: We had a very poor experience with the cardiology department (5th floor) at Utah Valley. My mom was sent to the Cardiology department from a different hospital because of severe chest pains. The nurses were in-attentive and took forever to respond to any requests. My mom is 84 yrs old, was dehydrated and in a lot of pain and they left her sitting, worrying and wondering what was going on and wouldn't allow food or water for over 24 hours with the excuse "we're waiting on the doctor to review your test results and see if he wants to do more tests". We finally had to insist that the nurse at least look to see if there were any additional tests scheduled and convince her to let my mom have food and water. And it took us about 30 minutes to even get to speak with the nurse to start this process. The doctor was not invested in the patient's recovery and we as family members had to tell him what test's had been run. He hadn't even looked up her chart. They never asked about her daily medications, we had to bring it up & get it entered into their system twice! We had to ask for the basic care and needs to be met. This is a hospital afterall - Aren't they supposed to be professionals? It's a good thing it turned out NOT to be a heart-attack because she probably would've died. It took 20 - 30 minutes for the nurse to check on her when she had really bad chest pain. After this experience, I've lost my confidence in this department.

Fantastic experience: Utah Valley Hospital has been nothing short of amazing for our family! The staff and so awesome from my labor process through my postpartum stay. The RN’s and the techs were so helpful (maybe too helpful) we also have a baby in the NICU and we feel 100% confident and safe with leaving her when we need to. Everyone we have met from lactation to social work has also been so kind and always willing to sit and listen. This was not my original hospital I was supposed to deliver at but due to an emergency I came here and I am forever thankful ❤️❤️❤️

Logan Rowley 3 years ago

Negative experience: Thoroughly enjoyed my experience on the day of my appointment. No complaints about the facility, staff, or physicians. That said, after my appointment I found that I was sent 2 bills for just 1 appointment. It was just a regular checkup so it's not like the second bill was for a procedure or lab or anything. I called the billing department and they said that one bill was for the doctor and one was for the facility. I wasn't told up-front that there are 2 different bills and it seems unethical to charge this way since it's not like I can visit the doctor without also going to the facility. Feels like it's designed to work around insurance companies and pull more money directly from the patient. I'll avoid non-emergency visits in the future.

Positive experience: Was here on the 27th thru the 31 of August 2022. Was transfered down from Heber Valley Medical. This hospital is on the ball. Got here late Friday. Saturday they done a scope on me. Sunday they did a gallbladder surgery. I came in and I hurt extremely bad. They did everything they could to get me back on my feet. They cared. The nursing staff on the 8th floor was awesome. The surgical unit explained everything answered any questions and were kind, They tried to make sure I was always comfortable and dealt with my pain with compassion. Im glad They were taking care of me. And if 8 ever need help again I hope this is where I'll be.
