Fantastic experience: I just started at CommonSpirit for physical therapy and all I can say is WoW!!! Not only are the staff kind and caring, but I have gotten more out of the three visits I have had with them then the previous PT place I was with, (located right up the street from them)! I wished I would have started with CommonSpirit from the very beginning. I probably would be a lot better than what I am now!!!

Fantastic experience: Excellent experience

Negative experience: Darla was my physical therapist and decided to do cupping on my breast and affected cancer area. I told her it hurt and her response was I bet it does. Well she should have focused on my lymphedema not cancerous tumor area. I haven’t been in this much pain since before I started treatment. My arm swelling has doubled if not tripled so has my pain. My lymphedema is in my arm and I told her she could not cup on my chest near juggler vein and she wanted to cup under my armpit (where I have active cancer smh). I ended up in the ER because of the excruciating pain she put me in. She obviously aggravated a nerve and my tumor. I’ll never return to this office again. Every nurse and dr I spoke to says a physical therapist should know better. But just be aware she is not gentle very aggressive and causes severe pain. Which I have never experienced In physical therapy before. I’ll be contacting corporate office. Listen to your body and your health. As you are in charge not the pt,dr, RN…

Fantastic experience: Awesome physical therapist, Edwin, and PA Melissa! Both guided me through 3-4 weeks of exercises and instruction that enable me to continue at home. I am pain free and significantly stronger already!! I highly recommend all the staff I encountered along with the excellent facility. Given the option. I would never choose any other!

Fantastic experience: My progress has been slow. My first eval with Ray he said the exercises given to me by Parkview visiting me in home were incorrect. Weaker still this last eval than the first he explored even further. Discussing what I might still be doing incorrectly. Two things dawned on me. When I explained those to him, he immediately knew the problem, taking the eval in a different direction. Testing strength in my quads, hamstrings and glutes, then instructing me on the proper exercises. Disappointing that the other PT specialists didn’t know the proper regime needed and in fact lead my recovery downhill. I actually hugged him and the young assistant he had that day, and admittedly fought back tears. God bless you for employing such a valuable gem! I now have hope to recover and lead a much better life than was originally in my future. He surely is one of a kind and the other institutions need to fire their entire staff. There aren’t enough praises I can give other than Praise God for his expertise and care for his clients.

Fantastic experience: I went to PT because of hip and back problems and was walking with a limp. Edwin (Ed) my PT and PTA Melissa went above and beyond by giving me many stretching and strengthening exercises. Ed changed them as my needs changed as my Dr’s changed. He made my visits fun and as we talked, we found we had many things in common and laughed a lot. Melissa was so helpful and printed out homework for my days off. I learned about her many outside interests as well.

Fantastic experience: Lonnie cares for people and is dedicated to helping them get better. My hand is not healed yet but I see and feel the progress. Update: I continue to make progress, as Lonnie continues to work on my hand’s functions. God is the great healer utilizing Lonnie in a wonderful way. Another update: my hand continues to improve with each session. Small steps will affirm it heals and returns to normal. Progress continues! Thanks Lonnie!

She also provides excellent post therapy advise so her patients can take care of themselves when they are ready.

Fantastic experience: The PT that replaced Donna was awesome. I asked y That my last two sessions would be nonweight bearing exercisers to strengthen my L side while my right side is nonweight bearing. She made sure to pass the message along. And she assisted me with practice for walker use.

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Lonnie Burton OT for chronic pain, in my arm/elbow. He is Very professional and is always looking for ways to change up my therapy and exercises for my needs and concerns. He has had a student Rebecca working with him, together I have seen improvement not only in ROM, strength, flextion but in giving me hope that I need to keep searching for answers. I appreciate them!

Fantastic experience: The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Ray put me right at ease and explained everything to me. PT is not fun but Ray has a great spirit.

Negative experience: Left a bruise! After 1 session with PT Brandon doing shoulder work, I was left with spasms so hard I needed urgent care. I also got a bruise from him pushing so hard with his thumb. I understand PT can cause soreness but this seems excessive dont you think? Better off going elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Ray Marquina is a great physical therapist. I appreciate the time he spent with me last visit. He stretched my lower back and hips to the point where those areas felt so much better. My rating for Ray is a 5.

Fantastic experience: Ray Marquina has been treating me and he is the only one that has made a difference with my neck/head pain. I was trying everything my doctor recommended and more without any relief for months, within a few sessions I finally was hopeful when I started noticing lessened pain. He explains all of my scans to me and explains what he’s doing and how it should help. He tries different treatments until we get results. So glad I started being treated here.
