Shandy Clinic - Pueblo North

Negative experience: my daughter has been going to shandy clinic for over a few years we stopped going because my daughter was discharged because the damn receptionist couldn't or wouldn't not sure do her job correctly ,and without warning they discharged us but thankfully my daughter is doing great and doing well, the therapist was great but also because the rude receptionist was too much to deal with. i wouldn't recommend this place I don't know why they hired the receptionist she is rude, and condescending, no family who has a child with special needs should have to put up with a rude receptionist who shares her opinion when it's not needed and doesn't do her job efficiently , The staff at Mga homecare who is near by they are incredible go there anywhere but here

Negative experience: They received my son's referral back in March. June they finally responded saying they lost my son's paperwork and had found it. A few appointments later we picked him up, and asked the attendant when his next appointment was. He responded they will notify us, today we receive a call saying my son has been discharged from services for missing his appointment without a notification. Parents firm warning stay away from this place before this happens to your child.

Negative experience: my child went in for speech therapy about a year ago, they said because of different languages spoken in the house child is confused.now a year later they come out with the way he walks. what does this have to do with speech?? shandy clinic is a scam

Negative experience: I called trying to get my son enrolled , when the receptionist asked if she could call me back, Then she told me she would call me back shortly and never did. When I called back she said sorry there was to much noise in the office she couldn’t hear me My question is why didn’t she call back like she said she would?? I waited for over an hour!!

Fantastic experience: Shandy is truly the BEST. The therapists are fantastic people that give their all and truly care about your child and their progress. The facility itself is always top notch,clean,and full of various activities to assist in your child’s therapy and needs. I’d recommend them to literally anyone and everyone.

Fantastic experience: Mr. Jay is a SLP at the Shandy Clinic. I am so grateful for him. My son has been seeing him for for a couple of months and he is so patient, kind, informative, and he has been helping my son tremendously! He provides me with the tools I need to ensure my son will succeed!

Fantastic experience: I love love love bringing my son here. I have seen such a huge improvement in my sons vocabulary since starting. The therapists and staff are so sweet, kind and patient. 10/10 would and have recommended to other parents struggling with their childrens speech.

Fantastic experience: Bridgett and Jessica are patient and helpful in helping our little one and he loves coming and meeting with them both! They have made him comfortable and always know how to challenge him but make it fun. Thank you both and thank you Shandy for hiring skilled professionals that help be part of the positive influences in my son’s and I’m sure other kids’ lives!

Fantastic experience: My son goes to Shandy Clinic and absolutely loves it. The therapists are very nice and patient and take the time to actually understand what is going on sand what they are doing to help the situation.

Fantastic experience: My two girls have been going there since the beginning of the time that they opened. And when they first started they couldn't talk now they talk Non-Stop. And when people ask me where my kids go I tell them to the Shandy Clinic. I haven't had nothing but positive things to say about them. All of the therapists listen to me as a parent and I really like that.

Fantastic experience: Everyone is so nice at the shandy clinic. If something isn't working for my son they try to think of new ways to approach things! I would highly recommend the shandy clinic!

Fantastic experience: My 3 year old daughter has grown so much in the 7 months she has been going to speech therapy at the Shandy Clinic. Her speech therapist, Bridgette, is warm, kind, and so knowledgeable. My daughter gets excited every time I tell her we are going to speech. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Fantastic experience: My daughter likes her occupational therapist and doesnt cry and scream when its time to go to her appointment. Thats a huge plus right there. Hwr first day tgey took her into the room with a swings and they had a color change light that you use an app for. When the therapist changed the color my daughter calmed down and started playing with the light and started talking to and playing on the swing with the therapist. It was awesome.

Fantastic experience: The Pueblo clinic has been awesome. They always try to accommodate our scheduling needs and have gone out of their way on more than one occasion to meet our daughters needs. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. Shandys has been consistent therapy for our family for over 2 years helping my daughter exceed most expectations. I'd be lost without them.

Fantastic experience: The Shandy Clinic has been a blessing for my nephew. The staff is very professional, caring and loving towards all the children. I have seen the improvement in my nephew immediately. I would highly recommend the Shandy to any parent, grandparent, caregiver. Remember it takes a village to raise a child. To receive the extra help and encouragement is a blessing. Thank you Shandy Team you are a dedicated angels.

Fantastic experience: I am extremely impressed with the staff at Shandy. They are kind, compassionate and. Very knowledgable. It is not easy working with some children on the autism spectrum. The therapists that work with my two children are remarkable. We have been truly blessed to have them. The other aspect is being able to do this in our home. Many times it is difficult to get our loved ones dressed and out the door in time to make their appointments. We, (Trinidad autism Awareness organization) have so much to be thankful for. We have been blessed to have representatives, (Lori Myers and Ms. Kate) come and present to our parent support group once a month.

Fantastic experience: Shandy Clinic is welcoming and certainly accepting of my child even on her bad days. We went to Shandy with the hope of helping our child to better communicate and it has led us to learning how to better parent in addition to improving our child's communication skills and behavior skills. My family loves the Shandy Clinic! Definitely recommend to those seeking help with similar issues.
