Positive experience: I am on my 3rd shoulder surgery with rehab here. The first two times rehabbing here were completely flawless. This time around I had a couple minor concerns but was able to address these and now everything is now flawless as always. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 stars is because I was 13 minutes late for my last session - I do feel for bad for this, but life happens sometimes. Instead of saying that we wouldn't have time for the full hour of physical therapy but I can show you your new exercises and you can do the exercises like the arm bike that can not be done at home since you are supposed to be here for 1 hour anyway, the physical therapist assistant I was supposed to see refused to see me even for a little bit. Since I was out of town for a week right after this, this meant missing an entire week of therapy.

Fantastic experience: Reno Orthopedic Center enables its patients to receive the ultimate, necessary treatment and outcomes. The professional physicians effectively and immediately proceed with the ideal outcomes.

Fantastic experience: ROC is an outstanding facility. The whole staff is instrumental in making one's experience stress free. From my first visit to recovery was entirely seemless.

Fantastic experience: I have been very impressed with efficiency of ROC and friendliness of staff. I recently had surgery (Sekhon- great surgeon!) at the surgery center and the experience was beyond my expectations. I had to stay 23 hrs. Everyone was so friendly and comforting but I had 3 nurses who really were amazing Ashley, Jazmine and a male nurse who prepped me ( I can't remember his name because I was so nervous).

Fantastic experience: Dr. Zebrack and the staff are ROC is wonderful. Yesterday my knee replacement went well. Dr. Zebrack is a skillful and knowledgeable surgeon. They did their part, now I need to work on the recovery process. I had surgery at Renown South Meadows in Reno.

Fantastic experience: I went in today for my follow up appointment and got to meet with Tracy Harig for my follow up! She was so rad, I have been so extremely stressed out about the break and my foot, and her super easy-going, funny personality her a lot of ease to everything, her bedside manner was incredible. Super educated and kind! Definitely someone I will continue to see in the future for any orthopedic needs that I have.

Fantastic experience: This is the only physical therapy office I will go to. Tony is awesome. This is my 2nd knee surgery and the recovery is going as smooth as we could hope for. The people are so kind and actually take an interest in your life and anything that may be going on to impact your recovery. Couldn't recommend them more.

I had surgery on my knee for a tibial spine avulsion, which meant that I was non-weightbearing with my knee locked straight in a brace for weeks after surgery. Even though this recovery made it harder to start walking again, the physical therapist I worked with, Tony, was absolutely awesome and kept me on track for recovery. He is extremely kind and patient, and gave me lots of details/information about what was healing in my knee. Both Tony and Ellie, the PT assistant I worked with, seemed genuinely excited about my progress and always made me feel like I was a priority during my appointments, even if it was busy.

Fantastic experience: Everyone was very helpful. Dr. Babovic was thorough, friendly and caring.

Negative experience: I would NOT recommend going here. The techs were not into patient care but robotically and systematically putting patients through. Stripping me if any dignity because my clothes may have magnetic particals. Next, putting an old woman with fibromyalgia in the most uncomfortable and akward position ever. The noise and the emotional overhaul of all of this was way too much. No one contacted me for result and my wrist still hurts.

Fantastic experience: The best therapists and really focused on helping recovery. Always there to help us fallen folks. I had no idea what to expect. Man I was back in action so much faster with their help. Very very grateful to the staff. 2 thumbs up. Dave & Tyler. Thank you

Fantastic experience: After my accident, I was fortunate enough to have Dr Swanson explain the surgical procedure that Dr J Walker would complete to-repare my Femur at hip. Dr Walker was kind, very efficient and the procedure was wonderful. Thank u Dr Justin Walker!!!!!

Positive experience: Update, snowy entrance area. While it was hard to get in there once in there our PT person found a different route out that did not involve slipping and sliding on a new hip. Thanks for the extra help as my wife was only two days out of the hospital.

Positive experience: Both restrooms will not lock from inside! They are located just to the left of appt and therapy desk as you walk in.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly. Answered all of my questions. I fell very safe with him doing surgery.

Fantastic experience: Up front evaluation. Accurate assessment of injured knee. Offered good options to surgery that worked. Replaced knee when it became handicapping ( still mobile but limiting mobility). Excellent successful surgery and post op that went exactly as he had explained. Post op nurses & staff responded guickly to all my issues & requests. Dr. Shukla answered all of my wife’s & my questions at every meeting. He always smiled and never appeared rushed. Spoke with 2 acquaintance before my surgery that Dr Shukla operated on and they had similar positive experiences. Dr.’s post op advise to stay ahead of pain & constipation, do physical therapy as directed & don’t push early normal activity are a must. I failed early on a little in each area and paid a discomforting and some what painful price. Thanks. Dr. Shukla

Fantastic experience: Dr. Martin Anderson is the finest surgeon, the most humane person, and has an election winning personality. I earn my living as a writer, and I was just sitting down to glorify Dr. Anderson in a bi-monthly article, and this will be a warm up for the article. I have had both hips replaced, and to a man who has been a dancer and choreographer, this is not an incidental occurrence. That was 5 years ago, and I'm still dancing and for the record, I'm closer to 90 than 80. If you ever have the need for bodily repairs, Dr. Anderson is your man. Ron Walker

Fantastic experience: Went for diagnosis of problem. Initial contact with doctors, technicians and assistants all positive. Friendly atmosphere, appointment on schedule, Doctors/Staff were responsive to patient questions. Did not give you the feeling that they were attempting to rush you through the process. Will be going back for treatment in near future so we will see how that goes.

I’ve been to many, many orthopedic doctors over a long period of time and unfortunately, they always seem to throw in the towel when the going gets tough. Dr Ries is the ONLY doctor who continues to chip away at the problem and has told me he won’t give up on me until everything is resolved. He has an amazing bedside manner and gives me as much time as I need at each appointment. I would definitely recommend Dr Ries if you are in need of an orthopedic doctor!

Fantastic experience: Without reservation I highly recommend Dr. Albertson and her team at ROC. I am an active senior with knee and hip problems...that are not all in "my pretty little head"...and have been treated with intelligence and knowledge, not just a pat on the hand. My problems have become solutions and I am off to tip toe through the tulips in the Netherlands.

Fantastic experience: Great experience! Dr Uppal explained everything very clearly. We are extremely happy with him and this office!

Negative experience: It cost me almost $600.00 After insurance for xrays, 15 minutes contact with a therapist and 2 minutes with a doctor who said "There's nothing I can do for you". He offered me steroids without looking at my chart to see what I was already taking and then walked out when I said no thanks to the drugs. I lost time at work and got nothing for my $580.00.

Fantastic experience: Other doctors should take lessons in bedside manner from Dr. Lundeen. He is patient, kind and personable all while being professional. He explained all options including surgery in a way that was completely understandable. He put my mind (and foot) at ease. Also appreciate him having med students in the room - sharing his knowledge and style. I imagine he’s a great teacher.

Negative experience: Appointment was at 8:00 am. Doctor didn't bother to show up for twenty minutes. The the appointment was set two days previous allowing plenty of time to look over the information but they hadn't even pulled x-rays from the other medical center. On to of the twenty minutes we had already been waiting we had to wait another twenty minutes for them to request the information and review. The whole time sitting in an exam room with fluids spilt on the floor, what appeared to be dried mucus (booger) on the wall, and something the color of dried blood or feces on the cabinet. 8:45 we were told we need to go see a different specialist and sent on our way. The doctor was very condecinding and ultimately had nothing to say after he was not able to do the work needed. Pretty bad sanitation and over all encounter, especially for the first appointment in the morning.

Positive experience: My visit was overall very satisfying however my appointment was at 10:15 and I wasn't seen until 10:40. Other than that I'm very satisfied. The staff is friendly and extremely competent.

Positive experience: I'm not sure why they asked us to be there 30 minutes early, as they had us wait nearly an hour past our appointed appt time to be seen.... that being said, Dr. Albertson was very thorough, answering all questions, and ensuring that we fully understood what was going on. I would recommend ROC, just plan to be there for a while.

Fantastic experience: I moved to Reno one year ago and came with lots of medical problems including a lot of pain in my hip and leg that I had tolerated since December 2015 - that is when a Total Hip Replacement was done in SC. From my first appointment with Dr. Shukla and his team until now, I have received the very best medical care that anyone could ask for and have been treated with the utmost respect and every detail of my care has been explained to me (in terms I can understand) by Dr. Shukla or his PA. His Medical Assistant, Danielle, has always returned my calls the same day or early the next day. I have just returned from rehab after the first surgery - the hip revision - and am so excited to know that this wonderful doctor and his team will be taking care of me throughout the rest of the process - getting the new hip! I know my care will continue to be the best.
