Fantastic experience: From the time you walk in Pivot , Adrienne and Heather starts the day off with a warm welcome and smile, super understanding and responds quickly. Timna my therapist was the most patient and empathetic person Ive ever met, I couldnt wait to come in for my appointment every other day. One day I came 30 mins late and they STILL took care of me . Definitely cant forget the most stylish person in the building Christian, checks up on everyone , always quick to sanitize and prepare station as quickly and efficiently as possible. It feel like a family here and I couldnt ask for a better experience!

Fantastic experience: I went to Pivot with an aggravated Achilles just days before I planned to run the Richmond Marathon. Colin Pietryk saw me and was great at listening to my description of what was going on as well as evaluating my leg/ankle. He advised me that there were some treatments and exercises I could do if I still wanted to run the race. We performed those and I continued them up to race day. I took his advice to shorten my stride and take it a little easier and I was able to run the entire race without aggravation in my achilles!

Fantastic experience: I got dry needling done here with Colin and had an excellent experience. I had chronically tight hips and shoulders from years of lifting that massages, lacrosse balls, TENS units and stretching couldn’t get to release and the dry needling cleared it all up in just a couple appointments

Fantastic experience: Fegan and her team have been a Godsend !!! Often, time you don't feel heard or are made to feel as if your pain is invisible. Not with Fegan, Katy, Christian and the rest of her fantastic team. They ensure that your rehab plan is catered to your very specific needs every step of the way. This rare attention to detail is what has made all the difference. Not just physically but mentally! Which is a key step on the road to recovery. Fegan was able to almost pinpoint what specifically wrong and why I kept plateauing with my care. Which other facilities failed to do. If you are looking for constant and consistent progress. Fegan and her team is where you NEED to be :)))))) 10 out of 10 across the board.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Colin and Anna. They are the best and provide excellent treatment; they genuinely look after you! I also appreciate how the manager, Fegan Richmond, cares about the clients and how concerns are addressed. It’s truly nice to see a manager so dedicated to their practice.

Negative experience: I did 10 sessions there. Compared to my PT experience in other places, PIVOT can’t care less about their patients. They kept changing PTs throughout the time, and had no consistent recovery plan. The hilarious thing was that, towards the end of my therapy, they were still asking which areas were injured. Clearly no notes taken for the simplest thing.

Fantastic experience: To start, GREAT experience!! My situation was a bit unique for returning to work. I participated in a program called “Work conditioning “ which consists of PT sessions 4 hours a day, 5 days a week and is consistent with activities performed while at work. My Physical therapist Fegan was extremely instrumental in getting me back to work. I have had a lot of injuries that require PT in my life but this by far was the best. I would not have been able to get strong enough without Fegan’s strategic planning and attention to detail in my physical recovery. All questions regarding care plan were answered and further explained to ensure that I understood the plan. The entire clinic itself to include all techs, office staff and other therapists are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. It’s always an amazing PT clinic when you feel comfortable asking another therapist advice and they treat you just like you are their patient. Fegan is top tier and her clinic is one of the best I have been in. It’s a true family feeling with how everyone works together and help each other or each others patients. Unfortunately I can only give it 5 stars because Fegan and her crew deserve more for the amount of attention to care they give. Thank you all!!!

Fantastic experience: I have been struggling with back pain for the past 2 1/2 months and was skeptical that physical therapy would make any difference. I was convinced that I had a pinched nerve and that I was going through the protocol so I could schedule an MRI and visit the orthopedic surgeon. Much to my delight and surprise the PT administered by the PIVOT team has me on the healing path to recovery, negating invasive surgery. I cannot thank Fegan and Brianna enough for their expertise and professionalism giving me back my quality of life! This has been the best physical therapy experienced ever - thank you again!

Fantastic experience: PIVOT THERAPY. A REMARKABLE CARE CENTER. Pivot therapeutic center located at 3100 Marshall Street, has a group of phenomenal working in the best interests of their patients. I began treatment three months ago after an automobile accident. Some of my prognosis were not so good but My therapist Ann was confident that even if not 100% she was capable of giving me a greater chance of recovery or better mobility. Her work for those three months were magnificent and great results with courteous and professionalism. Herself along with Katie and one of the Male therapists Christian were able to identify the exact muscular areas that were tied up and irritated. They've done a massive excellent job of healing me. Fantastic experience: The therapists and aides here are the best. The atmosphere is kind, friendly and relaxing - all good for healing! And they’re skilled as well. I went from having daily searing shoulder and neck pain to having almost none in a matter of a few months. Not to mention better posture and stronger muscles.

Fantastic experience: I’m very pleased with services received here! All staff were kind and helpful. Colin is a bright and competent PT and a good listener (along with being kind and helpful.) He devised an exercise program for arthritis in my knee and, in conjunction with help from my medical team, I’ve returned to walking and hiking activities (my goal.) It’s comforting to know that, if needed in the future, I can return here for services.

Fantastic experience: I injured my back doing a landscaping project at my home. The pain became so intense I was unable to stand or walk. My spine Dr. prescribed PT and I went to Pivot in Scott's Addition where I've been treated by Colin Pietryk. I was amazed at how fast Colin was able to treat the injury and get me back to being able to work on my project. I've been in PT many times before for injuries and joint replacements. Colin is among the best physical therapists I've ever worked with . I recommend him without reservations.

I've been a patient of Bruce Brewer's many times for a variety of injuries and surgeries dating all the way back to 1995. He's top-notch! I drive past MANY clinics on my 40 minute commute to Pivot, but I won't go to anyone else and it's well worth the drive. Keep up the great work!

Fantastic experience: I first came to Pivot in 2017 after receiving a new right knee. It's now 2021 and I'm back for treatment for my scoliosis and lower back issues. Back then, and now, my therapy treatments with Bruce Brewer have been nothing short of exceptional-- and I say exceptional in the sense of my care at the personal level, and the overall results at the end of my therapy! P.T. is not something you look forward to going back to, but when, and if, I need p.t.again my choice will be Pivot's Scott's Addition, RVA location! A special shout out to Bruce's patient coordinator Christian O.-- he was able to pay close attention to me personally while coordinating, and checking in on the other patients as well !

Fantastic experience: I am going to PT for hip and lower back discomfort. Ana Lim is my therapist. She is very helpful. Each time I go to see her, I leave feeling better. With her good guidance my hip and lower back are gradually healing. I highly recommend her.

Fantastic experience: Scheduling was easy, every member of the staff is personable and kind. The therapists are thorough and focused on my needs. I cannot imagine needing anything more. I watch them cleaning equipment after each user. There are pump bottles of sanitizer all around the main room. My knee is much better (torn meniscus) and continues to improve. This is my second round with Bruce Brewer. I saw him for a back problem about 3 years ago, when he was at the Patterson/Libbie office. He did a great job then as well.

Fantastic experience: Working with Fegan on a very stubborn issue with my shoulder. She has been amazing!!! Really patient, listens well and has been super supportive. She also has really improved the situation. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Fantastic experience: Reception, Molly is great and you know that once you walk into the door and Interface with her. Fegan is an awesome therapist. She is a professional who is attentive, passionate, experienced and gets to the bottom of the problem right away. She has been my therapist for 6 years now and I always trust that she will fix me. So if you have never experienced this facility you might want too.

Fantastic experience: Physical therapist Adam T. is excellent. After evaluating my intake form, he quickly had exercises for me to do and had come up with a schedule of appointments. I was given a copy of these to do twice a day and within a week I was feeling much better. Definitely recommend!

I never had a problem accessing the equipment. Adam Tanner and the others on the staff were more than willing to answer my questions, or explain what we were doing. Fantastic experience: I am currently receiving post operative physical therapy on my shoulder at The Scotts Addition location of Pivot Physical Therapy. The staff is great and fun to work with and Bruce is fantastic. After doing an evaluation he came up with exercises and tasks for me to perform, made sure I was doing them correctly and then allowed me to do them at my own pace. Each visit he adds something else to continue to challenge me and help me regain my strength and range of motion.They don't hover over me or make me feel rushed to finish and get out the door. Someone is always available to answer questions, insure I am doing the exercises correctly, and offer encouragement. I highly recommend them for anyone that has a need for physical therapy of any kind.

Positive experience: The team at Scott's Addition is awesome, but good luck if you run into billing or insurance issues with Pivot after your visits. I originally gave this spot a 5 star review, but I've since updated to 3 stars due to the amount of hours spent on various Pivot corporate hotlines to resolve billing issues that were ultimately the result of a dispute between Pivot and Anthem. The need to go through multiple 1-888 numbers to resolve these sort of issues with Pivot is beyond frustrating. I'll take dealing with a 100% local provider over a chain any day from here on out.

They thoroughly evaluate you and explain their findings and then work with you to alleviate your symptoms. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who needs physical therapy services. Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Pivot FT for a few years now. I live an active life and I have to say prone to accidents. Pivot with it’s bright, clean and roomy facility is my go to place for getting my therapy. My therapist, Bruce, is a vey professional, knowledgeable, compassionate and caring individual who does everything he can to get me back to my active lifestyle. My wife and sister have also been treated here. Wonderful people and highly recommended.

I really appreciate that we work on immediate, near & long term relief through strengthening, dry needling and other therapies.
