Fantastic experience: Saw Dr. Tucciarone for running related injuries while training for the Richmond Half Marathon and she got me from having to pause my training back into full time, great running condition! Super happy with my care and results!!

Fantastic experience: It has been about 8 months since I have made the best decision on joining this place for my post ACL surgery rehab. McKenzie, the receptionist, is the first to greet you with a warm smile, and she is ready to help you with any insurance or appointment related questions you may have. Kyle, my PT, has been an absolute pleasure to work with. He is communicative in what he is doing, and very intentional about designing exercises with recovery and strength in mind. I can never get away with bad form in exercises because he is ready to correct it as soon as he notices. The pt techs are super helpful as well. The physical journey is hard as it is, and they are always ready to help set you up with your next exercise, or give you a boost with some motivational words. Overall, InMotion is a pleasant place for any physical therapy needs you may have. Everyone working there is more than happy to help, check in, and guide you through your recovery journey.

Fantastic experience: Kyle was who I went to for physical therapy for my ankle. He was talented and friendly -taking the time to make me feel comfortable, it was like visiting a friend. Each visit he tailored my exercises to address where I struggled. He truly went above and beyond as each week he remembered what I was doing and asked how my injury felt during. He did everything he could to make sure I would not need to return. If I ever get the same injury, I hope to be able to work with him again. As a side note, all of the staff was wonderful-from the front desk to the techs. They all took the time to make me feel comfortable (introvert)which was greatly appreciated.

Fantastic experience: I had surgery in August 2024 and part of my recovery included several weeks of physical therapy. Cody Bryant and the entire team at InMotion (Hungary Spring Road) did a wonderful job. Now, it's up to me to continue what they taught me. I highly recommend them. I could not be more pleased with the help that I received.

Fantastic experience: I've been coming twice a week for over 6 months. My physical therapist, Kyle, has great bedside manner and the staff (receptionist, PT techs, etc) are all super friendly and have greeted me by name since my first appointment. I am in so much better shape painwise than when I started and I would absolutely recommend InMotion to anyone who needs PT!

Fantastic experience: Due to a not-so-fun medical condition, I have seen my share of physical therapists in RVA over the past few years. The staff at InMotion are my favorite. Daniel is incredibly knowledgeable and has not only tackled every one of my weird injuries, but taught me how to better take care of myself & my joints. I have recommended Daniel & InMotion to family and friends and figured, I might as well recommend to strangers as well.

Fantastic experience: I had help finding this office a few weeks after a foot surgery and the staff of Cody and Amy x 2 nurtured back to shape after in my 3rd and 4th months of recovery. I had a second surgery on the opposite foot a few months later and have progressed rapidly to better mobility on a consistent plan. I appreciate all the workers and the support they give.

Doctor found cysts on Spine after I fell breaking wrist. I had Surgery for wrist and back. All back now from therapy for legs, back and hand. Thanks again

Fantastic experience: Cody Bryant PT, DPT is the best Physical Therapist in the world! He is kind, patient, professional and a great person. He listened to my concerns and issues and provides the absolute best therapy for me. If you are in pain and want to resolve your issues, Cody is the best to help you regain your life and freedom. I have referred others to In Motion and they are happy as well. The staff is also amazing and wonderful, everyone from the front desk to the back of the house I appreciate them all. Makenzie, Emma, Luke, Ayanna, Trinity and all the others have all been a joy, they are helpful and pleasant every single day. In Motion is a place for physical healing with heaping spoon of sincere kindness!

Fantastic experience: I have had therapy following Reverse Shoulder Replacement, complete knee replacement and am currently getting therapy for arthritis in my neck. I have had Lyndsey Lee for all three. She is very thorough, patient, and caring.The whole staff is sweet friendly and caring, I would not consider going anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: This is a five star Physical Therapy facility. When you walk in you are greeted by MacKenzie who always greets you by your name and asks how you’re doing. She and all the staff are very friendly and professional. The physical therapy techs work together like a well oiled machine. They display amazing teamwork. They also greet you by using your name. This makes you feel special and important. Cody Bryant, my Physical Therapist, is very knowledgeable in his field. He takes the time to make sure all my questions are answered and is truly concerned about how I am doing. He is my Physical Therapist for life. I highly recommend him to anyone needing physical therapy.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to InMotion on and off now for over 2 years for issues with a torn rotator cuff , among other things ! I started with Wren, but have worked with every PT there , along with quite a few of the techs . Its hard to explain how much the staff {including McKenzie } has helped me physically and psychologically getting through and coming back from 2 surgeries .. Wren always listened to my concerns, and was such a breath of fresh air ! Cannot say enough good things about InMotion !!!

Fantastic experience: I was staring at surgery for a couple of disks pinching together in my neck. My primary physician suggested PT first and I made appt with a different facility. While I was chatting with a friend, an Orthopedic Surgeon, he suggested InMotion with Tom Bohanon. After a couple of months, I am pain free and NO SURGERY for me. Results far exceeded expectations and they will be my GO TO PT going forward. Many thanks to Tom and his awesome staff. Ed

Fantastic experience: I was referred first to 2 different physical therapists that could not correctly diagnose my back problem, let alone help it. Then, thankfully, I was referred to InMotion. The entire staff was fantastic throughout my entire process, and after my experiences at the other PT offices I can say the staff at InMotion is the most knowledgable in the area by far. If you are in need of a quality, accommodating, and reliable physical therapist, InMotion is the place to go in Richmond. I will be recommending them to everyone I know.

Fantastic experience: I have utilized the services at InMotion three times. The staff has always been friendly, caring and professional. My therapist, Meghan, was fabulous. She listened to and addressed all of my concerns. She brought in books and pictures to explain to me what was happening in my body.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to InMotion on Hungary Springs Road by Tuckahoe Orthopedic and truly enjoyed my experience. The Physical Therapists all seem extremely knowledgeable and very patient with all of my many questions. I was amazed with my recovery time and the improvement that I experienced. Most of all they seem like they genuinely cared. I will be recommending InMotion PT on Hungary Springs too all of my friends and family.

I felt like I was more than a number on a chart, as she patiently listened to my concerns, and personalized her treatment plan and exercises based on my situation. It’s rare to find a professional who has such thoroughness- I really appreciate her insight and help. After the first session, I already feel improvements!

Fantastic experience: Casey has been amazing. Limped in there earlier this month with back issues from a pinched nerve and some pulled obliques that were severely limiting my life. Less than a month later, I am back to my usual activities. Still a bit of work to do but completely life changing-had tried other PT in the area and was a skeptic but no more.

Fantastic experience: The team work at In Motion is incredible. They ask for patient feedback before their therapy starts to see if their has been any charges in their pain level since their last visit. This group of people really therapeutically care about the progress the patients are making at each therapy session. Ms. Casey and the other therapist takes time also to try to get the most out of each therapy session producing the best patient outcome of each visit they encounter. i recommend this staff and these therapist to get the best outcome of each therapy session and truly expect the best they can offer at each and every session. That is truly exceptional customer service.

Negative experience: I will start this review by saying that it has nothing to do with the service provided or the therapists. My complaint comes from the way the handle billing and billing issues. On my first day I asked how much I would pay out of pocket per session. I was told, verbatim, " It looks like you won't pay anything out of pocket. (checks my paperwork) Yep, your insurance will cover it." I went ahead and booked appointments for the next month and a half. After I went through all of those appointments I booked them out another month. Not receiving a bill at this point didn't seem odd as I shouldn't owe anything. Then, almost 2 and a half months after I have been going to appointments I receive a bill for $350. This wasn't even the full amount. In total I owe $770. I was lead to believe that I would not owe anything, then, in my opinion, duped into booking months worth of appointments before ever receiving a bill. After I received the first bill I call and asked if there was some mistake. After being told there wasn't, I spoke with them on how they baited and switched me into booking out months of appointments. Billing said that the front should not have told me that and they would get with the owner on seeing if they could do anything about the bill. After a few days I get a call back that unfortunately "Tom" (the owner I assume) couldn't do anything about it. Obviously complete BS and he just doesn't want to do the right thing and be responsible for the information provided by his staff. Also, not 100% pertinent to the issue, but I was getting treatment for horrible pain during my pregnancy. So I get the news that I own $770 two weeks before I am due to give birth and have all of those bills. If deciding where to be treated I would make sure that you triple check with your insurance before booking appointment as well as asking if you owe anything every time you leave.

From introduction to scheduling to verifying definitely a very streamlined & organized practice, PT, PTA, checkin person all deserve a shout out. I might feel differently when they start getting on me about doing recommended therapy, that's how it goes.

Fantastic experience: I started rehabbing a torn meniscus here thinking it was a long shot and I would eventually need surgery. Fast forward two months and my knee is 100% and I am doing all the things I was able to do before the injury. All credit is due to the fantastic therapists on staff. Thanks to their knowledgeable and very attentive care, I made progress daily. Professional yet personable is the best way to describe it.

Negative experience: Very rude staff. Hung up on me. I checked the outages since I have Xfinity and there was no outage. Especially since she hung up on me after I said I couldn't make it. Owner apparently likes to lie.

Fantastic experience: I have been treated here for about 2 years now and I love everyone who works here. I personally see Daniel however there have been some students doing clinic rounds whom I've worked with as well. I enjoyed working with Jordan and wish him all the luck in his future career! Morgan... imma need for you to just stay in Richmond k? lol. At the end of the day I HIGHLY recommend each and every therapist at this location. They're all very warm and welcoming. I look forward to my appointments which says a lot.

Fantastic experience: Casey and Dan are beyond amazing with their work! I used to always dread going to PT, but I love going just because of the friendly environment and knowing I’ll get to where I “physically” need to be in their hands. They are always thorough with their work and will always give you the “honest blunt” answer and not tip toe around it. They never give up on me and now I’ve even referred my husband there and he sees Lindsey and is pleased with her as well! The front staff is wonderful as well, they are always so cheerful even on a rainy day. Moving forward In Motion Physical Therapy is my PT home!

I have been in therapy 5 years this March & being in their care is THE BEST~! You'll get that "feel of family" surrounding You every time You walk thru the door. The warm & friendly staff are very educated in their profession & the attention to details mean as much to them as it does to You. My doctors selected InMotion because I needed the best help fast. I am a better feeling human being now thanks to InMotion Physical Therapy.

Fantastic experience: I've been to two or three different physical therapy clinics and this one is by far the very best! Daniel has literally helped me see the light at the end of the tunnel in regards to my pain and situation. He's very thorough in his explanations. He's very positive and put my anxiety at ease almost immediately. I have told all of my friends about him because he is just that awesome! His assistant Zoe (Zoey) was also very helpful when demonstrating my homework exercises. Surprisingly I am looking forward to my next appointment!

Fantastic experience: Tom, Sarah and Ashley were incredible! I was referred by my doctor for prenatal physical therapy due to back pain, within a month my back pain was gone and I am back to being able to do all of my daily activities. I highly recommend InMotion!
