Fantastic experience: After completing four sessions at Agape, I’m already starting to see positive results. Joe has been a great coach. For the first time in 8 months, I have the confidence that I’ll be able to walk normally again and maybe even run. I’m very happy so far with my physical therapy at Agape. Update to my original review from a year or so ago: I completed a full year of therapy and the improvement is exponential. I'm running again and I initially thought I'd never be able to run again. I'm doing everything I used to do and I credit much of my improvement to my time spent at Agape and working with Joe. I can't recommend Agape enough!

Fantastic experience: Marisa has been tremendously helpful. My pain is the piriformis muscle in my right hip and back. After X-ray ordered by my PC she helped determine my issue. Specific exercises along with some deep muscle massage has made a big difference and lessened my pain. I continue with PT.

They are intune with your care and set up a good therapy management plan to help you get better. They target all your needs to ensure the best rehab and support for your individual circumstance. My therapist Aletha is spot on with my treatment. I see improvement and she is very informative with knowledge about my care, this also helps me feel comfortable knowing im on the right track. Fantastic experience: I went to see Joe for my shoulder and hip and after working with him for 2-3 months, I am feeling great and like back to normal. Joe was wonderful to work with!

Fantastic experience: In October of 2023 I started physical therapy at this facility because my nephew had a good experience here back in 2018. I had broken my fibula in July and ended up being non-weight bearing for 12 weeks and therefore lost a lot of strength and stamina. My physical therapist, Joe LoSapio, is really knowledgeable and has partnered with me to help me gain back what I've lost through various skilled techniques. Joe is helpful, encouraging, and if an exercise is too tough to do at the beginning he offers helpful accommodations. You're able to work up to being able to do that original exercise and it's pretty incredible to see your strength build back up and see the PT work! I've had some physical and personal limitations happen while under Joe's tutelage but he's always been able to find a way to keep me moving forward and help keep the momentum going, which I really appreciate. I'm really grateful to have found a facility that understands how important it is to someone to "get back to what I was before" and does their best to help you achieve that goal. They're great here and I definitely recommend them.

The specific location Ive used is Elmgrove Rd and though some of the therapists have changed, the quality of care has not. Fantastic experience: I sustained a serious leg trauma that left me non-weight bearing for four months. I’ve just begun my PT at Agape and it’s been a wonderful experience so far. Aletha is fantastic and really listens. She explains not just what we’re doing but why and how it affects the injury’s healing process. I have a long road to recovery but feel very confident in what the facility offers, the guidance from Aletha and the positive attitudes and encouraging behavior of everyone who works there. I highly recommend Agape.

Fantastic experience: Marissa is great! She helped me understand my injury and the mechanics of my knee and why & how the exercises she gave me would strengthen the muscles. I give all the credit for a smooth recovery to her expertise and professionalism. From the first visit after surgery she provided both inspiration, motivation but also helped me to be patient when recovery took longer than I wanted. She kept me on track and gave me tips that were little ways to do movements slightly differently but together they made a world of difference. I’ll definitely continue with the home exercises she gave me and return to her if my injury reoccurs.

I started the process in an immense amount of pain, she was able to get me to a place of comfort while pregnant which is huge. Fantastic experience: I came here for Achilles Tendonitis. Began in October and completed in February. My Achilles was so sore and inflamed that my podiatrist sent me to PT as a last resort before surgery. Four months later, I don't need surgery, I'm able to run (working towards my goal), the inflammation and pain are gone. My therapist Pat is not only extremely professional and knowledgeable, but he is super friendly and his exercise routines are even fun, and obviously effective. I'm so happy to have come to Agape and to stick with the discipline of attending every week. The facility offers a myriad of equipment and exercise tools.

Fantastic experience: I worked with JP and then with Frank, and I feel quite a bit stronger. I have lower back problems and the concentration of building up strength in the surrounding muscles and core has really been helpful. With previous PTs, I did NOT work the muscles like I did here. I think this is key to staying strong as long as I can stick to a routine. I have a tendency, though, to slip backwards when I'm not going regularly. I would definitely recommend Agape if you plan on working toward strength and recovery. THANK YOU for pushing me, even though I didn't quite believe I could do the work I did... Hope to come back!!!!

Fantastic experience: Agape physical therapy remains to be a place of answers and healing. After being seen by a chiropractor for my neck and back I was left feeling frustrated without a plan to trouble shoot my sore areas which were most likely a result from a fall. JP not only gave me a thorough assessment he set a plan into motion for the healing process to begin. Apart from my visits I was given stretches to do at home which had a profound effect on my recovery. I was listened to when I shared my concerns and encouraged to stay the stay course, which wasn’t long after after my initial visit. This is not my first time turning to Agape for support or answers. I’m grateful for their knowledgeable staff who, as always, goes above beyond with each of their patients! I cannot recommend this facility enough!!

Fantastic experience: I had a very beneficial experience at the Gates Agape. I had been suffering from sciatic pain for months and feared it would be a constant in my life. JP put together a plan that has helped me tremendously. He is knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. He ensured that I learned the correct form for the exercises and gave me many ideas to work on at home. I am happy to say that I am currently pain free. I highly recommend this place and will visit again when needs arise in the future.

Fantastic experience: WOW!!! Had a total left knee replacement September 1, 2020 and did four in-home physical therapy sessions through the hospital and was discharged. But, I wanted to take it a step further and get stronger. So I went to Agape Physical Therapy in Gates. Frank Argento was my Physical Therapist. This facility is 5-Star!! Follows all Safety Covid-Protocols. Checking Temperatures, Sanitizing Constantly and Social Distancing Patients. Frank did a full assessment of what my goals and concerns were. Each visit I saw improvement of my strength and flexibility. Frank pushed me when I needed to go that extra step. I always looked forward to my PT visit as my goal was to get healthier and stronger. I also had a total right knee replacement March 8, 2020 so these visits also help with the flexibility and strenthening of that knee as well. I highly recommend Agape Physical Therapy in Gates for any Physical Therapy you might need!

Fantastic experience: I had been experiencing increasing hip and knee pain due to early arthritis aggravated by my weight and sedentary life style. I needed therapy that would help me move my joints without pain. After a search, I found Agape and saw that they offered water therapy in a specialized tank with a built in tread mill. yes! Selena is my PT and I love her. She pushes me gently but understands my limits. The water therapy is ahhhhmazing! I haven't jogged in well, forever. I just can't on dry land, my joints won't allow it. But in the tank? I'm routinely walking/running for 1 mile AND IT FEELS GREAT! I have found the perfect solution for myself. Thank you Selena and Agape. You have a great facility and wonderful staff!

Fantastic experience: I had a 40% tear of my rotator cuff. It required minor surgery, clean up, and no stitches. I went to Agape post surgery for my physical therapy. Their staff is knowledgeable, always helpful, and friendly! They have a lot of equipment there for all kinds of PT needs. For me, Frank kept it simple, yet challenging, with a good program. He gave me home exercises to do in-between visits. In just 3 weeks I felt back to normal. After 6 weeks my shoulder felt better than before I injured it! Obviously the surgeon should get credit too, but re-strengthening the shoulder after surgery and my improved range of motion was due to Agape. I can't thank them enough for the help getting back! I will definitely use them again, should I ever need PT again!

Fantastic experience: No complaints here. I went for my knee which had a meniscus tear and cleaned after surgery. The exercises gave me confidence and strength that I can get back into my activities. I was happy with the time doing therapy as everyone is knowledgeable and they target areas around your injury/ surgery to strengthen you. I worked with Frank mostly and he is a super guy who is friendly and knowledgeable. If you need therapy give this place a try.

Fantastic experience: I have had a wonderful experience at Agape with rehab after rotator cuff surgery. JP is very caring, encouraging, gentle yet firm, knowledgeable, personable, and kind. Everyone who works there is friendly and makes you feel like family. It's a very fun environment. My visits were all during Covid, and I always felt very safe. Everyone was always masked. Temps are taken when you enter. All equipment is sanitized after use and social distancing is practiced. My recovery went very well. My surgeon is pleased with my progress. I'm sad that my sessions are coming to an end as I will miss my friends there. I strongly recommend going there for physical therapy. I will definitely go there if I ever need physical therapy in the future. They do a fabulous job!

Fantastic experience: I was treated at Agape P.T. on Elmgrove Rd. for osteoarthritis lt. hip pending total lt. hip replacement 10/27. My therapist was Serena Lilley. I experienced the highest degree of professionalism and dedication from my therapist. She was very knowledgeable about my condition, and helped keep my leg strength at its maximum level going into surgery. She was very personable and easy to talk to and always had an upbeat, positive, and encouraging attitude. In the midst of the Covid pandemic, Agape staff took all precautions necessary, and disinfected EVERY piece of equipment directly following it's use. The receptionist Tania was super efficient, and the other therapists working there have treated either or other family members in the past. I highly recommend Agape Gates, and will certainly return there post op knowing they will help me to realize a successful recovery.

Fantastic experience: I went to Agape for PT on my sprained ankle. I went to a few sessions and then covid closed everything down for a while. They gave me a big list of exercises to do and people to contact in case I had questions. When they opened back up I got right back in for one on one appointments with Selena. She was very helpful and friendly for every visit. Each appointment felt like it was catered to me and the goals I wanted to reach. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful at each visit.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to PT at Agape for about a year now, for several different injuries; poor knee movement associated with my patella, hand numbness and tingling fingers, and an inner ankle sprain. The staff have all been absolutely wonderful. I can tell that each employee genuinely care about my progress and well being. Each session has been tailored to my individual needs as well as taking into consideration situational variables. I also like knowing that if, and when, I ever need to come back to PT for anything that my history with the team is there and I don't need to go threw the whole intake process with all my medical history. I cannot recommend physical therapy enough, especially at Agape Physical Therapy. I have never felt as in tune with my muscles and joints. The insight and knowledge I have learned has been invaluable to my recovery.
