Fantastic experience: I recently received physical therapy from Lindsay Gorman and Bryan Yehl for knee pain associates with arthritis and surrounding ligaments and muscles. I had been dealing with this for several years but got some relief from a knee brace and over the counter medication. I finally decided to try PT since it was interfering with my sleep and some of my activities and honestly the relief I felt was amazing! Through simple exercises, heat and massage I am now pain free! Lindsay and Bryan are knowledgeable and compassionate therapist. They always showed concern and were able to suggest modifications as needed. From the moment I walked into the facility, and every time thereafter, I was greeted warmly and cheerfully by Kashara who was always accommodating in every way. I would highly recommend this team of experts for your physical therapy needs. They work closely with Mike from the adjoining fitness facility who was always very welcoming and happy to share his expertise as well.

Fantastic experience: This is Jane Shuffelton, writing a second review of this facility now that Bryan Yehl has replaced Shane. Bryan and Lindsay continue to give outstanding service as they treat my arthritic knees and shoulder. I mostly work with Bryan and am very grateful for his caring, compassionate approach. I am impressed with his extensive knowledge, seemingly on a par with my pcp. I cannot say enough good things about the way he and my fitness trainer, Mike Nash, have been consulting and working together to find the best approaches to taking care of my 82 year old self.

Fantastic experience: This is the warmest and most welcoming physical therapy center, I have ever been. Kashara is so warm and friendly, greets me by name as I walk in and says you are all checked in as I hang up my coat. As I get older, I forget more, she is so kind and patient, and hands me another printout of my appointment time. I have had rotator cuff impingement which has only become more painful over the years and failed to respond well to physical therapy in the past. Bryan knows what he is doing and has worked miracles as the pain is almost completely gone. His knowledge base seems unlimited and he is always positive and encouraging. What I like most, is it doesn't matter regarding your age, gender, socioeconomic or cultural background, every patient is treated as an important person with value and dignity.

Fantastic experience: Super thankful to Shane and Lattimore PT for helping me overcome my LCL tear and quickly get back to playing my sport. Knowledgeable and dedicated, they will help you immensely.

Fantastic experience: This fall my knees were painful and getting worse. Since I am 80, I figured this was what happened with arthritis in the knees: pain on movement, aching all the time, and eventual knee replacement. I have been a patient of Lattimore through the years: low back pain and shoulder issues. When i mentioned to my therapist, Shane, that my knees were killing me, he told me that PT could help. Honestly, I didn't believe him. How could PT help with arthritis? What I learned is that arthritis isn't my problem since everyone at my age has it but not everyone has knees issues. My problem was lack of flexibility in my hips, tightness in the hamstrings and quads, and wekeness in leg muscles and my core. I am now able to move without pain and have increased flexibility and strength. While I have more to do, I now see what Shane meant. PT really did help me. Getting the PT from Shane at the IcePlex was a real plus. He is knowledgeable, personable, demanding and understanding. The atmosphere at the facility is friendly, even family-like. I highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: After having knee pain in both knees for far too long, I decided to try physical therapy. Lindsay was my main therapist but I also worked with Bryan a bit as well. Both of them were very friendly and easy going and the secretary (forgive me for forgetting her name) was one of the funniest, kindest women I’ve met. I didn’t feel like a nuisance to them (as opposed to my prior PT place). It has now been a few months since “graduating” physical therapy and to my amazement, my knees are still doing better. I highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I have nothing but great things to say about the entire Lattimore Physical Therapy team at the Iceplex. During the past few months of PT after having back surgery, I have undergone immense improvements. Both my flexibility and strength have dramatically increased. Physical therapists Lindsay and Bryan are very personable, understanding, knowledgeable and optimistic/upbeat. It is a very welcoming and encouraging environment to help someone progress on their road to recovery. Keep up the excellent work!

Positive experience: The physical therapists are knowlegable friendly and helpful. The location is convenient ( at least for me- I am not sure how convenient it would be for someone who has to take a bus) There is a ramp that can be used if you can't do the stairs and I have seen the therapists go out to make sure it is salted in the winter. The only things that would make it better are if the people who come for the hockey part of the ice plex were more considerate in the parking lot. ( taking spots closest to the building and pulling up and waiting for people at the front making it harder for those who need therapy to get in and out. And some are drinking in the parking lot) The only other thing that would be awesome is if they offered water therapy but very few places have a pool for therapy.

Fantastic experience: Shane and Lindsay are awesome there at the Iceplex. At a great price! When I first came to them I was having days where my knees were so bad I could hardly stand up from crouching down. Now I can spend all day on my feet with hardly any issues. On top of the in person physical therapy Lindsey gave me the tools to help myself in the long run. Stretches and exercises specific to my issues that can prevent/relieve and issues my lifestyle might cause for my knees. Shane is alright too. You just have to look past the moustache and golf talk. ;-)

Fantastic experience: Went in July-august 2021 for lower back pain/disc herniation. Shane’s program and staff are knowledgeable and practical. Issues relieved in about 1 month of visits twice a week.

Fantastic experience: Having developed a high regard for physical therapists long ago and gone to thembin the pastel, I was still amazed by the PERSONAL care and connection Lattimore Physical Therapy at the Iceplex provides. Shawn and Ron were able to help me NOT to have another spinal fusion operation! It took some time, but I was thrilled by my recovery and not going through another surgery. These guys are the Real Deal and while I believe most Physical Therapists are; I think the set up and focus of Lattimore ALLOWS them to give their best to each client treating them as individuals with a compassion and understanding that other Physical Therapy centers cannot. I cannot emphasize enough the impact they had on my recovery and quality of life. For me, they have set a very high standard of care for all Physical Therapy centers.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with my physical therapy at Lattimore. Shane and the staff were awesome, friendly, and effective! I found the staff to be knowledgeable and helpful, they understood exercises and stretching and were able to explain in detail what was best for my condition. I would highly recommend them to my family and friends.

Fantastic experience: The staff were amazing and the facility excellent. Lindsey is competent, thorough, and friendly. She answers questions and is open to personal concerns. As a team she and Shane are always in tune to where you are in your program and you are never left waiting for more instructions, etc. The entire team should be commended for their adherence to CDC guidelines and you always felt confident you were not being put at risk for COVID infection. Having access to the gym was an added benefit. I would highly recommend Lattimore Phsical Therapy to others.

Fantastic experience: As a 65 year old with lower back pain I was helped greatly by Shane and Lindsay in about 5-6 sessions. Very friendly atmosphere and sensitive to your needs and lifestyle! I was shown the exercises to remain pain free and active. Highly recommended! I will certainly return if I have any more problems!

Fantastic experience: I have nothing but praise for the awesome personnel at this facility. Shane and Lindsay manage to be thoroughly professional and at the same time personally they are compassionate and understanding. They knew how to push me into doing therapy exercises correctly to help my arm and shoulder, with positive encouragement as well. And when one day I was having trouble with a piriformis muscle, they were willing to add exercises to help make it better. And those wonderful massages! Always a treat.

Fantastic experience: Shane & Lindsay are amazing, I saw a previous physical therapist for the same issue for some time and was not having the best results. So I changed to this location based on a recommendation from a friend and within a month I had better results already! Very personal service, and they celebrate your wins with you. They also work with you on every level, and aren't afraid to mix it up if a particular method isn't working. Very flexible and the entire staff no matter their role are so nice, truly has a family feel. On my second visit I felt so comfortable there already. Definitely my go to recommendation for PT now!

Fantastic experience: Great staff! My care was provided by therapist - Lindsey and Sean and both were quite knowledgeable in treating the patients. Also the facility is nice with a lot of additional equipment available for different needs.

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience here at the Lattimore Physical Therapy Iceplex facility! Shane and Lindsay were amazing in helping me on my journey to strengthen my lower back and get me back to feeling confident and strong at work. The program they made me for me was perfect and I really looked forward to coming here everyday and honestly hated to leave. The environment they have created there is friendly, warm, and inviting but at the same time they make you work which I love! Not to mention the music was always a plus ;). Even the receptionist Kelly was always very welcoming and had a smile on her face everytime I got there! I look forward to continuing my journey of strengthening my back with the knowledge and skills they have given me in my 6 weeks of coming here! If you need PT and don’t know who to choose, come here!!! (And request Shane)

Fantastic experience: I've gone to lattimore twice now (shoulder and back injuries) and have worked with Lindsay and Shane both of whom are excellent. They really take the time to listen to what's concerning you, help you change your habits, and develop a routine to get back to being pain-free and functional. I often had questions about posture, day to habits and other things I thought might be contributing to my pain and Shane was always happy to listen and give his insight (which I was honestly impressed with he really knows his stuff). The facility is top quality. Kelly at the front desk is so friendly and was happy to help with my out-of-state insurance. I would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I love this place, the Director is Shane and there's Lindsay and Kelly also. They welcome everyone that enters the building, and they really work as a team. The physical therapy work they do on clients really work and help them feel better. I followed them from their Elmwood location to this new location. We share laughs and get to talk about what we are trying to accomplish with the therapy. I trust them, and that's another reason why I'm at their new location. I recommend them to whoever may need physical therapy.

My UCLA physical therapy and therapist have nothing on the staff here at Lattimore Iceplex. A stranger recommended this location to me and I am forever grateful! Lindsay, Shane, and Dominique have a system that is effective and keeps you looking forward to your next visit. Who would have thought I’d be sad to leave Rochester for Los Angeles!

Fantastic experience: Let me start by saying I don't give reviews....this the first one I ever did in my life but Shane and Lindsay is the perfect team.....first they push u to make the muscle stronger then pamper you with a massage all in the same day.....they don't try and get you in and out. They really take their time with you.... They interact with everyone making you feel comfortable...I'll recommend this place to any and everybody....its a great place to go for PT

Fantastic experience: On August 18th of this year I had back surgery (L5-S1) and wasn’t sure I would ever get back to the Physical condition I was prior to surgery. I am a fitness enthusiast and a body building competitor. So having an injury like this was a bit discouraging and overwhelming. I basically had to start from scratch. I never thought I would I would feel as good as I do in mid November . Thanks to Shane and Lindsay for their knowledge and encouragement !!! You are Both awesome ! I will be back to me in no time Thanks again.

Fantastic experience: This is the place to be! From their next level facility to their fantastic staff I can’t praise this place enough. Be sure to ask for Lindsay as she helped rehabilitate my wrist back to full strength. Hoping to not be injured again but if I am I will be going back to Lindsay for sure!

Fantastic experience: I was skeptical about physical therapy. After coming to lattimore and working with my therapist Lindsay, I realized how important it is. Lindsay & Shane both made my experience at Lattimore great. They were warm and welcoming and took the time to listen to my ongoing issues. Fantastic experience: Great results under the care of Lindsay. She listened attentively to my symptoms. Her goal was to get me back to normal without introducing more pain into my knee and wrist. Results are wonderful. I’ve gone to physical therapists in the past who had a “ no pain, no gain” mentality. (Ouch!) Not the philosophy at Lattimore. Definitely recommend Lindsay and Shane. Very grateful for them and their approach to healing. A special shout out to Chris, the intern who worked with me over the summer. He definitely found his calling. He’s going to be a great physical therapist.

Fantastic experience: The Lattimore staff is awesome. I highly recommend them for help managing pain when you want to minimize medication. They are patient, compassionate and know their stuff. Their entire Iceplex team is trained to work with people living with Multiple Sclerosis, which is rare.

Fantastic experience: When I signed my child up to 3 months of skating instructional work I knew I would be spending a lot of time at the ice rink. As it so happened, it was about time I did something about my own physical fitness. After a year off from coaching hockey and playing I needed to start finding other ways to be active. I signed up for 3 months and from day 1 I knew it was the right choice. Having the desire to work out can quickly be undermined if you try to start in the wrong environment. My first walk through was with Rob Tanner and he took the time to explain EVERYTHING in the gym as well as their approach as a medically oriented gym. We discussed plan to start and changed a few things along the way. Over the 3 months I lost nearly 20lbs, while only working out 2-3 times per week for 90 minutes or less. This is because I put the work in and made changes to diet (subtle ones). However, I am quite positive I would not have signed up and kept at it without the encouragement of all the staff there, especially Rob. It's been a long time since I've felt this good. I've never been a gym person, but it never felt like going to the gym here. It simply felt like going to a place to hang out and be active. I'm not sure I could recommend it any higher. It's made a massive difference in my life.

Fantastic experience: Matt is a fantastic physical therapist! I have an autoimmune disease which requires physical therapy, and Matt has gone above and beyond to make sure I get the most out of each visit by researching the disease, and always being able to answer my questions, as well as provide a routine of exercises which have helped me tremendously. I am confident that I will continue to improve because of Matt. The MOG is also fantastic. I love being able to workout with a plan that is catered just to me, and is designed to meet my needs.
